So glad we stopped. All around 5-stars. Sat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Surprised at how timely our entrees arrived. We can on a Saturday night. There was an event letting out in town and the place was busy but food arrived perfectly cooked and fast. We had the Medallions/shrimp and Pork Shank. We were very sad when we finished the food because we didn't have room for more. Cute little place. Large dining room, ample patio seating. We'd definitely come again. read more

Service was acceptable, but not stellar on a busy Friday night. Steak tips, shrimp, and Gorgonzola fondue were all very good and the homemade bread was definitely memorable burger. Three of the six guests had the burgers. Reviews were mixed. Two guests had the pesto which we found to be very good One had the Ragu and really enjoyed it! Beverages we're pretty good! There were many re-orders of the same item. Standard prices for the nicer place in Winter Park. The space was eclectic with a lot of history. Not many vegetarian options in the entrées besides the pesto pasta. I would give a solid overall 3.5. read more

We had a really nice time with our group at Deno's. We were in town for a weekend getaway and it was a nice little spot to cozy up and get some good food. We had a group of 12, and we had called and made a reservation for lunch a week or so in advance. We were sat at 2 separate tables (fine by us) and ordered a variety of wine, cocktails, and beers. The drink menu is pretty solid, and I liked the espresso martini! I ended up getting a salad and fries because *balance* and both were super tasty. My salad was really fresh (I got the Greek) and the fries were seasoned well and crispy. It was definitely a good spot for us to visit and handled our larger group like pros. We'll be back when we're in town! read more

This is my top go-to place in Winter Park. I like that's there's a patio and we can bring our dogs with us. Most importantly I like the consistent quality of their food. I really like their beef tips appetizer. It's a beautiful plate but also so yummy! Another one of my favorites is their apple hot honey Gorgonzola pizza. Thin crust, slightly spicy, sweet crunchy apple slices on top.:.. My husband had their beef French dip burger. It was very good a well, I had a bite or two. Top customer service as well. read more

Great food and service and fair price and received Veterans discount we have enjoyed several meals at this restaurant

We dined here based on a recommendation from a bartender at 1 of the breweries. She was spot on with her recommendation. We arrived at the same time as about 12 other people but despite being 5:30 we were all seated pretty quickly. Our waiter, Danny, stopped by our table without delay. It was obvious he took pride in the restaurant. Many menu options sounded good but I settled on medallions Rustica(surf and turf) with 4oz filet and shrimp. It was cooked perfectly. Speaking of perfectly cooked my husband was thrilled with the salmon piccata. He asked for rare and got it! I loved that Danny made a fresh pot of decaf coffee so I could round off my meal with a cup. We liked this place so much we may return and bring the kids. read more

Don't let the reviews online fool you into thinking this is an upscale restaurant. Upscale prices, sure. Upscale food and service? Unfortunately not. Ambiance has potential however everyone shows up in very casual clothes. This is not a dress and tie spot at all. You need to call and make a reservation or risk a 30 minute wait. The mussel and clam appetizer was 9/10. Caesar salad followed was tiny, and not very good 4/10. Our drinks were put in upon arrival and didn't come out until after we finished both the appetizer and the salad. My friend ordered a top shelf lemon drop and I ordered a sangria. Her first lemon drop tasted like rubbing alcohol. Very disappointing. My sangria was decent 8/10. I ordered the Chicken Marsala which was a breaded chicken breast over seared asparagus and mash potatoes. Honestly very happy with my choice, a solid 8.5/10. My friend ordered the linguine and clam which honestly was very disappointing as well. The sauce was very watery and had too much lemon. Almost tasted like just straight up lemon juice 6.5/10. My friend tried to order a second lemon drop specifically asking for grey goose and I watched from our table as the bartender failed to use the grey goose bottle, using the same liquor for multiple lemon drops in different orders. We sent the drink back and requested that the bartender remake it with grey goose and he finally got it right. At the beginning of our dinner 6:40pm when we got sat, we put in a to go cheese pizza order. It is now 8:25 pm and we still are waiting on our to go order. Overall the service was disappointing but I can tell this is crowd favorite in the area. read more

Deno's hit the spot for a fairly quick, weeknight meal. We were lucky enough to go during their happy hour and were able to take advantage of their drink (wine) and appetizer's at a reduced rate. The menu is fairly standard for restaurants around here. Sitting outside on the patio was a great way to enjoy the cool mountain air and beautiful sunshine. We were delighted with the hummingbirds who frequented the petunias on the patio. Ahi Tuna entree was prepared simply and served rare -- I like that. The Caesar salad was alright. Service was efficient and helpful. read more

We went twice while we were in Fraser. Excellent steak and a delicious wine list. The bread is incredible. Service was a mixed bag. On our fist visit our server was impeccable-- friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and made the dinner more than just a meal. Unfortunately the second visit we had a different server and he was a bit distracted, seemed annoyed with our questions. All in all a lovely restaurant though. Great atmosphere and good food. Will go again when we are in town. read more

We have a great experience here. Burger, Pizza, Salmon and some pesto pasta. My only complaint was my pizza was cold but we microwaved it which was fine. Otherwise everyone else enjoyed their dishes and we'd definitely go back next time we are in winter park. read more

Made a pit stop here on my family's way out of Winterpark after our family reunion festivities. It's located on charming Main Street and is a great location to people watch if you're seated on the outdoor patio. The menu has a great varied selection with a few options we were not expecting to see such as curried mussels, fried tomatoes, and gyros. Our party ordered the Mediterranean mezze platter, bistro salad, gorgonzola & hot honey pizza with added pepperonis, and Mr. T's chicken sandwich with French fries. The best of those had to have been the pizza, salad, and mezze platter. The chicken sandwich was soggy, the fried chicken itself wasn't as crispy as it looked, and overall just lacking. The service was slow, but our server was very kind and accommodating. Overall, it is a good spot for brunch - I can't speak for dinner, but if you're in town I'd recommend giving it a try. read more

I visited Denos recently with my brother during our trip to winter park for some skiing. I thought the calamari appetizer was just ok, we did not finish it. Our mains were great though, I got the short rib and my brother got the steak. The ambiance in the restaurant was nothing special, but the service was great and super quick for how busy they were! Would return it back in Winter Park but for the price it wasn't anything to rave about. read more

Was greeted by a very lovely host. - took a little more than 15 minutes for our party of 6 to get a table- obviously that was a pleasant surprise. The server offered us multiple starters like the grilled artichoke, we went with the filet tips. - those were perfect. We also split a bottle of wine she recommended. I think her name was Rose ? The bartender also made some great cocktails for us. - overall a great experience despite the lack of snow. We will definitely be back. They were out of a couple items on the menu that we would really like to try- like the Brussel sprouts- but what they did have made up for what they lacked and the server provided great substitutions read more

We were really exited and looking forward to having dinner at this place during our vacation. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't great. The server took a very long time to take our order and bring the food to our table. They even forgot my drink and brought it when I was almost done with my meal. I usually love steak but didn't want to risk having a bad experience, so I ordered a burger. It turned out to be bland and the vegetables weren't fresh. Pizza average. Overall, it was a disappointing and overrated place. read more

Food was very good. I had the Bolognese. I'm not sure why it was so spicy, but I did like it. Several in our group had the salmon and said it was very tasty. Another had a hamburger and said it was average. My biggest complaint here is the noise level. OMG! So hard to even have a conversation with the person next to you. We were seated pretty close to the bar and the table behind us was very loud. Service was good, although our server seemed to really be hustling. I felt bad for him. read more

We finally had a chance to stop at Deno's. Deno's is a lovely restaurant in Winter Park on the Main Street. We ate out on the patio. They allowed us to bring our Boston Bull Terriers. The food was excellent! Darren our server was fantastic too. Each dish was expertly seasoned and with the freshest of ingredients. We loved each and every bite start to finish! Only one outlier to perfection... there was one red headed woman server who was out of line in her delivery. When she came to drop off plates she was like a human freight train, and bulldozed into our table, was forceful as we tried to sort whose plate was whose. We were trying to explain who had some adjustments to their order and try to air traffic control it a bit, but she was on a mission to just be a bull in a China shop. We had to all take a deep breath after she left our table. Definitely take a beat hun. read more

Have been to Deno's a handful of times and usually have very yummy food. Ordered the 12oz NY strip medium rare and was served the steak on the top side of the photo - Which came out very very well done, slightly burnt from the sear. The server was happy to remake the steak for us, but we were then served the near raw steak (shown on the bottom of the photo)...... sides were yummy though! read more
