I would give 0 stars if possible. 2 times in a row I have ordered a thick crust pizza and received this. I called them up about the problem expressing my disappointment with paying extra money and not receiving what I asked for. Was told that I got a thick crust pizza. When I expressed this is a regular hand tossed pizza and this is the second time they have done this to me. I ordered a thick crust pizza from them before this is not what I received. I either want the proper pizza or my money. Then they continued to try to convince me that I was indeed wrong they sent me a thick crust pizza. No refund, No exchange. I don't like people lying and stealing from me. Avoid this pizza place at all cost! read more

Highly recommended so decided to try them out for dinner. I ordered by phone waited 30 min, get there and they had no record of our order...mk (the seemed to have a lot of order and had some system issue) the apologized put our order in and we decided to walk a little while we waited. This mom and pops was great! This is a delivery/carry out place only with no tables. We had a pepperoni and sausage 10", a Capitol favorite 10" pizza and a order of mild wings. The pizza was delicious so cheesy and flavorful. Really delicious! The wings were perfectly cooked and sauced. Besides the ordering hiccup I do think this place was great and very good. read more

You know that feeling when it's a Friday night and you planned on cooking even though you're exhausted from the week, but then your brain remembers there's The Pizza Solution and your whole world feels a lot better? For this particular TPS, I was craving a hearty, topping-rich pizza; no NY style allowed. Something unctuous, something worth it. I stumbled across Capitol Pizza's photos on Yelp and my inner game show audio engineer went ding! ding! ding! The next few minutes are a blur. I order, pick up, and then it's here: hearty, rich with pepperoni, chopped ham, mushroom and jalapeño, with a perfect crust and sauce/cheese/topping ratio. It's brilliant. If I had 3D printed this, these would have been my exact blueprints. An intense loyalty was formed within the first slice. If they had a magnet, I'd put it in the best spot on my fridge. For now, I'll have to settle with another box next week. read more

Have enjoyed pizzas from Capital Pizza several times and ALWAYS GREAT. Today (5/18) had a medium thin crust fiesta chicken. With jalapeños, green chili peppers, fresh tomatoes, lots of chicken, smothered with mozzarella and cheddar cheese's. It was delicious! I have tried tons of pizza spots here in colorado as well as other states and would not recommend this pizza spot. The Pepperoni Blowout was super greasy, but very flavorful and good, the jalapeño popper pizza was good, although a bit bland. The part that really made it worse though, was the sides. The boneless wings were absolutely awful, very little sauce, very poor taste, and mushy soggy texture. The mozzarella sticks were worse. Legit hard as rocks on the inside, and somehow soggy on the outside. read more

I can't believe we never tried this place. They are a hidden gem. The pizza was the star - two thumbs up! Delicious crust and toppings. Plus, the pizza is HUGE. Good pie! Found this place on my way to hotel having just landed and was craving a little pizza. The location was perfect - just a half mile off the highway and a few miles south of my hotel. (Sorry America - it's not like you needs to know any of that Trivia...:p). Anywho...the pie was very good. The sauce is a bit on the sweeter side but, the onions could have added to that too. I went with a bit of mix, separated the medium pizza into two separate pizzas...different proteins and veggies etc. I never feel it necessary to divulge the items I like on my Pie...it's so subjective and can easily vary, all dependent upon one's mood. My only reason for not giving them a five star rating was due to the pie being a little under cooked. That said America, I think in all honesty that was my fault. I got there early and I think they just naturally pulled it a bit too soon from the oven, wanting to get me on my way. I think another 3-4 minutes, maybe a little less, would have put that pie over the top, giving the nice dough a slightly better chew/bite. I know, I know... What a picky som-beeeatch! I know... Let me end with this. This place was warm, friendly (and not just to me but to all the patrons that Walked in whilist I waitist...) and extremely gracious. Near the beginning of the pandemic I called an order in for pick up. When I got to the store I saw the employees preparing the food not wearing masks. I left the pizza and got a refund. I thought now a few months into it maybe things would be different. Nope. When I drove up I could see the cashier had his below his mouth and the employee making the food had none - not even pretending to wear one with his nose hanging out. Just no mask. There are several signs posted outside requiring guests to wear masks. I left my pizza again which sucks because I like the pizza here. I wish the staff would take the deadly pandemic a little more seriously. read more

The pizza was a result of a late night craving and let me tell you it was fully satisfied! We came in about 10:30pm to pick up some pizza and some other goods including cheese sticks and Stromboli. The guy was super nice and can tell it's his business. I recommend them for pizza anytime of day. I was Also told they have amazing sandwiches and other items. As of late we have been trying a lot of pizza . Usually on Friday night. We went on vacation and returned Saturday evening. We were both to tired to cook Sunday evening as we had to get ready to return back to the real world. We' ve been getting coupons from this fairly new place lately and finally decided to give it a try. We stopped in and ordered on the fly because we had just went grocery shopping and tried to plan it so when we were done putting the groceries away the pizza would arrive. The timing didn't disappoint, but the pricing was a little high for my liking. The pizza sizes range from a 10" -19" . They wings for basically a dollar a wing. The pizza was good but had a little too much sauce for my taste but some people like that. my wife liked the wings and they did taste ok. They do deliver which was a plus for us so I think this will be our pizza place if we feel like ordering in. read more

Attention!!! Just did a walk in order, every single person did not have a mask on and was making the pizza with their BARE HANDS! I saw the girl that was grabbing handfuls of chicken cough in her hands and then put it in the toppings and too the pizza. The cashier Milen was the RUDEST person I've ever met, I was still going to take my food and I asked her to help me close the box she literally rolled her eyes and walked away after she put the open box of chicken wings on the table. We ordered delivery from this restaurant tonight, a small pizza and an Italian sausage sandwich. We were old that our food would be delivered by 6:30, so when it wasn't here, I called the restaurant. The person that answered the phone said that the driver had left 15 minutes ago, so she didn't know why he wasn't here yet, either. I went to my door and saw a delivery vehicle, obviously lost. He was on the other side of the road, then he flipped a u-turn and literally walked up and tried to give our food away to our neighbors two houses up, while I stood in my driveway trying to wave him down. Finally, he got to us. I started to ask him if everything we ordered was included and I had some extra money to tip him, but my husband opened the door and yelled, "Is there a problem here?" and the guy hopped in his car and took off. The food wasn't as hot as I would have liked, but given the fact that this delivery guy was completely lost, we were lucky to get it. We've ordered here before. Oh, YUM! I ordered from here tonight because they were the only ones open late. They delivered in a timely manner, the delivery man was very nice and friendly. We ordered pizza with mushrooms on half and pepperoni on the other half and an order of garlic cheese bread. The pizza was cooked perfectly and I loved the over abundance of cheese! I will say that the pepperoni half was very greasy as was the garlic cheese bread. My husband and I had a low-key outdoor wedding and decided on a pizza bar for dinner, and Capitol Pizza not only took great care of us, but they made literally everyone at our wedding super excited about the food.
