Their Italian sub is to die for! After 40 years in the business, the restaurant has been handed over to Ralph's lovely daughter, who is doing a tremendous job of carrying on the torch. I left off a star for the heat, as it can get relatively warm in the restaurant in the summer months. If this were a ten-star option, I would give it a 9.5. Their supreme pizza is to die for twice. read more

Mediocre customer service, everyone yelling all the time. Maybe cosmos will better, one can only hope.

Always wanted to stop and eat, today we stopped. The pizza was delicious as were the ravioli. We had so many leftovers! Can't wait to warm them up. read more

Pizza is good but the old male owner isn't. (Guessing he's the owner). Came in for lunch today 6/11/26, ordered two slices of pizza. I was needing to wash my hands, so I looked for a sign that said bathroom, which I found one hanging from the ceiling. The sign looked to go around the corner. So I went back and there was a door so I opened it and tried to find the light. 15-20 seconds later I turn around the old man holding a large kitchen knife! At this point I asked if this was the bathroom. The man didn't say anything... just pointed the knife to the front. I walked to the front and I asked the women where the bathroom was. She pointed in the complete opposite direction of where the sign pointed. VERY, VERY misleading! Customer service and appreciation is none Keep in mind, I do not look intimidating at all. Dressed very nicely. I was just on my lunch break. There is no reason to threaten me with a weapon. I will never darken their doorstep again. I will not be ordering pizzas for the office party's there either. I don't think that man even remotely knows how close he came to that becoming a self defense situation. read more

Our favorite pizza/italian restaurant! Authentic NY pizza. Coming from Long Island this is hands down best pizza we have had since moving here 9 years ago! Family owned. Staff is amazing and the menu and food top notch!! A must go too!! read more

Pizza is good, anything else is mediocre. Customer service is where they fail. We've had 2 really bad experiences with the manager there. She's mean and rude and has zero customer service skills. She was not only rude to us, but she was also extremely mean to her employees, yelling at them in a demeaning way in front of the customers (it was busy). We brought the pizza back to a group with 20 other couples who heard about our experience, so there are now 40 people that will not be supporting this business any longer. Do better because the pizza is good but there are so many other independent businesses that offer kind service and good food that we can support instead! read more

You can improve your customer service and clean up your dining room area! Very outdated and dirty! Your pizza is always burned and the ingredients are NOT fresh!! I do not recommend eating at this ghetto pizza place!! There are much better, authentic pizzerias to eat in Colorado than this pathetic place! Don't waist your time or money!! read more

Lasagna. Are you kidding me? Best ever in Broomfield. Family owned and operated. Even the salads are good!

Excellent pie!!!! My dad from the Bronx said this is the best pizza he's ever had!!! I wish I could give it 10 stars

If you are missing "the pizza from back east" you must try this pizza. Sure made me feel like I was back east eating great pizza. 9.1! read more

Original Pizza - Lunch special - Pizza Near Me - Broomfield, Colorado

Best New York style pizza in Denver. Hands down . If your looking for Domino's, little Ceasars, pizza hut. This ain't it.

The pizza was bad, i have been here other times for pasta and nothing seemed fresh or homemad. I've always been very disappointed

Not a real Italian restaurant it's a marginally pizza joint food is eatable but just that ... for lunch get one of the specials Not anything you will remember 30 minutes later Decor is like an old pizza joint in the 30s staff is loud and seem to be fighting with each other or jesting not sure Not a place I will return as my experience was mediocre at best Don't waste your money as there are many other real Italian places nearby Hate writing a bad review but this place does not deserve a better one Pizza slices are reasonable and passable but nothing to go back again Pasta is well cooked but nothing special Note the place needs refurbishing the floor is cracked and needs repainting as it looks unkept Snots next to the counter need to be washed asap Lady at the front counter is nice and efficient She gets my modus for effort and kindness Sad but true I would avoid this old run down pizza joint!!! read more

I came in late and wanted some pizza and some antipasta but was sadden to hear that they were only making pizzas for the rest of the night. Then the nice lady and check out was super sweet and let me add it on even though it made more work for them. Great service and environment and decorations with fantastic pizza read more

The service is the best, the decorations are beautiful, and the food, is the most beautiful thing in Colorado.

Love me some OG broomfield zah. Been dining in and watching sports which has been excellent. Service is always great, food always comes out hot and in the right order. I have a hard time not getting the pizza but one day I will venture out to their pastas and sandwiches as they look good. When this place is really busy, the pizza can get a bit crispy on the bottom but it's always been good. Garlic sticks are a must. read more

Ok... little neighborhood places end up my favorite.. we have driven by numerous times, and decided that a calzone sounded good tonight... kind of old style pizza place!!! And rather busy too.... I thought this was a take out only place, but they make New York style pizza .. hot and fresh and delicious .... Along with. A variety of pasta and sandwiches...Hubs and I had a calzone each... they were huge! If you He had a pepperoni and mozzarella, I enjoyed the supreme We easily could have shared...they were delicious..(bonus... hubs was able to get a Budweiser!) Our server was everywhere and took great care of us, the calzones wrapped in pizza dough, wrapped in pizza dough, right came out super quick ... they even gave Spumoni, which I think is a lost art... I think the patio in the front (with a stone fountain!) would be fun in the summer!!!! We will be back read more

Love their pizza. soooooo good. I recommend them to everyone who asks where to get pizza

One of my favorite places to get pizza! I was starving after dental surgery (yeah, not the sharpest pencil in the drawer but was pretty numb so.....I went for it!) I just went with a slice of cheese pizza. Great crust, sauce, perfect! read more

We are NY/NJ pizza snobs. This place is Always great for regular and Sicilian pizza, tight out of NY! We do like the large pizza because the crust tends to come out thinner. We always take some home! read more

Original NY Pizza is special in that it has very good high quality NY Pizza. It's authentic but if you call ahead, then your pizza will simply wait on top of the oven, even while you stand around and wait forever for someone to read your name off the slip to unapologetically hand over your pizza that you paid and tipped in advance for. Our wait for the pizza was over thirty minutes after it was pulled from the oven. Your unnecessary wait might vary. read more

Best pizza in Colorado! True NY pizza! Entrees are delicious too, sauce is very flavorful, perfect amount of garlic. Don't forget dessert, cannolis and tiramisu are great! You can't go wrong eating here. Original never disappoints! read more

First things first, I ate here for the first time in august 2024 during the Olympic field hockey gold medal game. Germany vs the Netherlands, I swear the whole restaurant was dialed in. I watched the dutch goalie absolutely lock the Germans down in the overtime shootout while I smashed like half a large pizza, which was delicious. I like the inside of this restaurant, including the bathroom. I'd eat here again, seeing as the pizza delivered on all frontiers read more

Best pizza in the Denver area. Great, great service from terrific people. As for my way of thinking, I would never recommend anything else. read more

Easy to miss this place, but decent place for pizza and calzones. The bad: calzone was a little raw where the dough was thicker, but not enough to ruin the calzone Price is a little expensive. A supreme calzone and a Coke will cost you just about $20 The good:: The calzone was made fresh and they heaped in the toppings. I really like they bring out the sauce on the side, instead of drowning the calzone with it The staff is friendly, so that's good. The bad: The environment is a little weird. I'm not sure if I'm in a pizzeria or a side truck stop. It's clean but it's just a strange vibe. You order at the front like subway and then you go sit down. The place is divided into 3 sections and the back is closed and dark. When I left, I felt like I should have bussed my own table Overall a decent place to eat read more

Original Pizza - Supreme Calzone. - Pizza Near Me - Broomfield, Colorado

I was born and raised in NYC and am constantly on the hunt for an authentic NY slice. After living in CO for 12 years, I can say with confidence that Original Pizza is THE real deal and the best pizza in the state. Every single pizza I've ever gotten has been absolutely top notch & inside the restaurant has the perfect NYC pizzeria feel. A lot of reviews here mention the service being below par. This is not a fancy, deluxe, fine dining place. It is authentically NY through and through, including the attitudes of the workers. It's part of what makes it such a special place. read more

Bad attitudes. Poor service Went there for my birthday dinner. Place was dirty. Only one table that was cleaned off. Got our order wrong. My wife and I were served to go cause the other people at the table were done eating when they finally brought our food. No apology and still charged full price. We've been eating here for a really long time. Will not be going back! read more

Nice little spot with a patio in a rather quiet area. I wanted to get an idea of the menu before arriving, but for whatever reason, their menu can't be properly viewed using Google Chrome. I enjoyed the NY style pizza, but was surprised that they only offer whole pies which will start at around $17 without toppings. It's probably the first NY style place that I've ever been to that didn't offer pizza by the slice, so be warned if that's what you're after. However, since I wasn't alone, I went in a whole pie with someone else. It was quite tasty and gooey and everything you'd expect from a NY style pizza. I will go back to try more items the next time I'm in the area. I also want to give a shout out to Mo who went out of her way to make a toddler's second birthday a special one! Thanks Mo! read more

3.5 stars and let me tell you why. Overall, I like their pizza. Coming from NJ where NY style pizza was abundant, it's challenging to find a spot nearby that hits the mark in every category - cheese (amount & taste), sauce, crust, toppings, etc. I want to give their pizza more stars, but the issue is consistency. We've had some really damn good pies from here and others were less than mediocre. Let's start with the cheese: great taste, but oftentimes there's just not enough so we started asking for extra cheese. The sauce is very good and has a nice tang (not overly sweet and good saltiness). My biggest issue is with the dough/crust. Sometimes it's really nice - crispy, yet not dry. Other times the whole crust completely detaches from the rest of the slice when you pick it up as is they're made separately and held together by a small bridge of cheese. Other times, it's soggy and has serious floppage. It sometimes has good flavor (salty, buttery taste) and others it tastes like maybe the dough isn't as fresh? It tastes dried out and relying on toppings to flavor it. Aside from pizza we've only ever gotten the garlic sticks which are flavorful so I can't speak to their meals. Would love if they delivered. It's one of those don't feel like thinking, let's pick up an easy pie type of joints. It does the job, but is it the best pizza ever? Not quite. If they were more consistent I'd order here weekly, but it's the gamble of "will it be a good one today?" that makes me second guess having them be our #1 local pizza place. read more

Great food and great service! Mo and Daniella are great and the Calzone was the best I have ever had. 10/10 will come back!

Ive been waiting over an hour for a $50 takeout order. I had to come in to order because phones were screwed up, got a dismissive "oh sorry we're busy. SO AM I!!! It's now over an hour invested, I see tables that came in after I did with their food. WTH read more

I have seen a lot of negative reviews of this place because of the "attitude" of the people working there. I have never experienced that. Maybe people are upset that they don't do delivery but I always pick up from places anyway so I'm not bothered by it. If you want a big, New York style, good crust pizza. This place is your go to. Toppings always seem fresh too. I'll keep this review simple like a good pizza. They don't have pineapple there which I would enjoy, don't @ me. read more

I unfortunately haven't had very good experiences here. The most recent time I went, they told me the wait would be for an hour and I ended up waiting two hours. Which can forgiven since they were understandably very busy. However, while I was there I noticed one of the guys (who I think was in charge - not sure if owner or manager) yelled very rudely at the women working there. It was kind of shocking the way he talked to them in front of customers. I think that's my biggest complaint. Lastly, and not that bad but definitely annoying is that this place tends to not get my order correct. They've been fine in the past when I've mentioned it. Granted I'll usually order a specialty pizza with a couple things changed, which might be a weird order, but it would be nice to not have to worry if it's going to be correct. read more

Listen, this is THE BEST New York style pizza place in metro Denver. I have been looking for a good nyc style place for a long time. If you've lived on the east coast and you miss the big slices, Long Island mom and pop style restaurants this is it. Call ahead or plan to wait. there's not many places like this place in Denver so it gets to be pretty busy. The woman that's normally at the front is great. (I'm assuming the owner) They make you feel like you're more than a customer so I will forever support them! read more
