Such a fun place with terrific food and service. I really like all of Avanti but you can count on the food , the view and the all around good time on the top floor to be a great experience. We have a favorite pizza order, a salad and dessert we almost always face. It's gotten to almost be joke status when I walk in. They know my order , it's so perfect I dare not change. There are so many toppings I cannot have, I always go with the basic B and a Caesar salad. The basic B is for basil, an herb I adore. So this is really a simple but tasty Margherita with classic char on the crust. If there is no char, it's not NY pizza. The salad balances it perfectly. My husband always gets the Telluride Redfish amber ale. Not easy to find in Boulder. Tonight I had the Stem Cider Off Dry because they did not have the Hibiscus or the Chile Guava in stock. But Stem is local and my favorite brand and Off Dry the most common at bars. After such a nice meal on almost a holiday. We topped it off with a house made cannoli. Prepped fresh at service time so it won't get soggy. We can come here every few weeks , no matter the weather and enjoy it every time. The view is great and there are always people out on the deck getting pictures with the Flatirons backdrop. So glad they built to maximize the view. read more

It's. a fun little place with fresh, made to order personal pizzas and a full bar right next door. The views from the rooftop are great. However, the pizza is exceptionally bland. The cheese has no flavor and basically no texture. The pepperoni has never been within a mile of a pepper, and was also just ... flaccid. I also added their spicy italian sausage, which provided a little texture, but also minimal flavor. My friend commented that the sauce was a bit sweet, which is not usually what I'm looking for. The crust itself was a proper neopolitan crust with some nice charring on the bottom. So if you just want some fresh, warm bread this pizza will fit the bill. read more

I had the steverino and substituted the sausage with basil to make it vegetarian. It was amazing! The crust and toppings were so good. Wasn't a fan of the pretzel and the dipping sauce last time but the burrata plate is also awesome and they have good desserts. Highly recommend. read more

Hands down best pizza in Boulder which tbh is a bit sad considering this is just a hole in the wall at avantis but hey we take what we can get out here. First of all zero flop, nice crunch to the crust. I personally usually just get the peperoni pie but man is it good. Also you will taste the sauce and it is fantastic, perfect tang and slight sweetness. I feel like at a lot of pizza shops the sauce is bland, they dont put enough of it, or both. Amazing Pies. The crunch on these are truly delicious. We had a feast. 6 pies in total and they were all absolutely delicious. We had 3 and then immediately ordered 3 more. It was 9 of us so we were hungry. Lots of options at Avanti but all we wanted was more of that delicious crunch. The ambiance at this location was one for the books. So festive and very family friendly. Absolutely loved the view from the rooftop. Must see if you're in Boulder for the Holidays. Don't forget to get a salad for the pizza topper. I wasn't in the mood for pizza last night, but the person I was with wanted it. Sigh. The basic pie for $15 was adequate. Nothing like New York pizza. In New York (where I'm from), you spend a few more bucks, but the pizza weighs about three pounds and you eat it for days. This could have been wolfed down in one sitting. There's really nothing I can say other than it was food and I had to eat something. Topping off the lackluster experience-- a $6.30 tip was added to the bill, unbeknownst to me. I had to go to the counter and ask for it to be removed by the sullen, disinterested counter man. I don't tip if I'm ordering at a counter and then going back to the counter to pick it up. Maybe if the food or the personnel were better, but last night... NOPE. People in Colorado do not know what good pizza is. It's something I always loved eating in New York. This pizza is good and even better because it's inside of Avanti. Would I get it at an outside restaurant that didn't have the views Avanti has? I don't know! Came here to catch up with a friend at his recommendation and was immediately impressed. Sitting a few stories up the views are great and the atmosphere is lively. I was able to order with ease online and got The Steverino with sausage, kale, mozzarella, and olives. Additionally, I paid an extra dollar for their spicy ranch - which is a must! The pizza didn't take long and was larger than I expected. I've never had kale on pizza before and was surprised how well it worked to balance the other flavors. The sausage was solid but I really enjoyed the olives and thought that they (along with the spicy ranch) made my meal so great.
