My coworkers and I were in town for team training and staying at the AC Hotel next door. The Otis, which is the hotel that Acre 41 is located in, is connected to our hotel so we came here several times during our stay. Both for breakfast and late night drinks. The service was adequate and the food was not bad at all.

5 stars was for our server John R. He exemplified exceptional customer service and we very much appreciated his humor and consistent kind service. Food was good as well- Steaks. Salmon. Creamed spinach, mushrooms and the key lime was sublime.

We heard so many great things about Acre 41, so we decided to give it a try for the dinner portion of date night. Upon walking in, we were not greeted. Like at all. The hostess looked at us then proceeded having a conversation with another worker there. We waited patiently until another couple (white) came in and they were instantly greeted and asked if they had a reservation. That's when it dawned on me and I asked if this was a whites only establishment as we must have missed the sign. The other worker she was talking to earlier appeared embarrassed and seated us. We then sat for 15 min with nothing. Nothing. My husband, ever so patient and an extender of grace, said maybe they're busier than they expected to be on a Thursday. Finally someone comes and takes our order. For the amount of time waiting and the poor service, I expected to be blown away by the food. Sadly, while everything was cooked well from a technical standpoint, it lacked seasoning in a major way and no one came to check on us through the meal so I couldn't even ask for something like steak sauce to try and make it palatable. However, we did get a couple of free apps. Yay? Idk. Will never be back and don't recommend for literally anything.

Staff were friendly, prompt, and happy to help. It's got a nice, nuanced aesthetic that feels a little more authentic than a normal hotel restaurant. My salmon was great and the whipped potatoes really hit the spot.

I really wanted to love brunch at Acre 41, especially since we were wrapping up a great stay at the AC Hotel. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite meet expectations. We went for brunch on our last day and I ordered the Wagyu steak and eggs, which came with potatoes and toast, along with the blooming tea. The manager let us know the steak had been accidentally burnt and was being remade--so we were prepared for a bit of a wait. But when it finally arrived, the steak had to be sent back. It was burnt on the outside, completely raw and cold on the inside. Even after the second attempt, the temperature still wasn't right, but we were too hungry to wait any longer and just ate what we could. We picked around the edible parts and left the rest. To their credit, both the manager and our server were attentive and apologetic throughout, and they explained there had been a problem with the temperature probe for steaks that morning. Their communication was appreciated, but it didn't fully make up for the meal itself. The eggs and toast were solid, no complaints there. But the potatoes--unfortunately--were nearly inedible. They seemed to be smashed red potatoes that were either overcooked or burnt, far too tough and crunchy. I've had smashed potatoes before, and these just didn't work. On a positive note, the blooming tea was lovely--visually and in flavor. The pot kept it hot the whole time, and it was a small bright spot in the meal. Our server also offered a complimentary dessert due to the steak issues, so I tried the bread pudding. Sadly, it fell flat too, though the ice cream it came with was good. The restaurant is located on the Otis Hotel side (it shares space with the AC Hotel), and the setting is beautiful--very polished and modern. I'd absolutely stay at the hotel again. As for Acre 41, maybe I'll try it for dinner next time and hope for a better experience. I really do want to give them another chance, but I hope this feedback is taken into consideration--it could've been a great meal with just a bit more care in execution.

The bar tenders was very good . Unfortunately no sports tvswe ordered lunch my wife had the wago burger it was tasteless for 22 bucks so sad.i had the club very good. Next we will try local hang outs

Incredible customer service! Came here for brunch and to commemorate our 6 year wedding anniversary. Food was incredible! And the staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond in making our day even more special. Even gifting us a happy anniversary cappuccino, dessert and a card Shout out to Julia and Melanie, thank you for making this so special!

The ambience is great, and our server was kind. But the food was just lacking. Of the six people at our table we had steak, shrimp and grits, a meatball appetizer, and a few other things. For the automatic gratuity and the cost of each entrée I expected there to be more flavor.

A day to walk along the Drag lead us to enjoy lunch at Acre 41. It's located inside the Otis Hotel Austin and the staff made us feel very welcomed. The restaurant felt a bit upper scale with a nice decor. I ordered the Acre 41 Club. Upon looking around I noted they had a private room on the second level. There was a large bar but noticed no TV's so not a place to watch a game, but there was another bar on the second floor in the AC Hotel Austin. My sandwich arrived and looked very presentable and tasty. It had great flavor with the smoked turkey, bibb lettuce, bacon, smoked gouda, and garlic mayo. It looked like the turkey was grilled which added a magical touch in my mouth. It came with a side of fries. All was very good.

We came to Acre on 2/2/25 for Sunday brunch - before leaving Austin to head back home. Overall, the experience was OK. It's on the corner and attached to the AC/Omni hotel. Accordingly, bathrooms are located in the hotel lobby. The interior of the restaurant was thoughtfully decorated, with some music-themed artwork. Our primary server was patient and kind, but at some point in the meal, when I asked for assistance, she sent over a different server. The wagyu meatball was a delicious appetizer. The entire table enjoyed it. You only get 4 bite-size ish meatballs and a bunch of sauce and bread for sopping. The 13 y/o ordered the tres leches French toast, bacon and eggs over easy. She thought it was just OK. But it's hard to compare when she just had a very jazzed up French toast from Serenade the previous day. We didn't get much of a tres leches flavor though The 8 y/o ordered the buttermilk pancakes, a side of bacon and fruit. Pancakes were large and fluffy and you get 4! I ordered the egg white omelette, which I found to be well balanced and flavorful. The potatoes def needed ketchup. I also ordered sausage but they forgot to bring it out. Nonetheless, they bought it out a few minutes after I asked where it was. Husband's meal was the most problematic. He ordered the Wagyu flat iron (medium) and eggs (over easy). The steak was more on the rare to medium rare side. When he pointed it out, they said they would fire up another steak for him. That second one was even more under. Our primary server then proceeded to tell us that because it was Wagyu, medium would not be the same light pink as a normal steak. This only ticked us off more because we eat/order/make plenty of Wagyu steak and have never encountered this before. When we told her that was not the case, she said ok fine. I can have them make another one. We politely declined since there was no guarantee that third time would be the charm . They were accommodating and took it off our bill since all my husband was able to eat were his eggs and half of one smashed potato. I don't think we'll be coming back here on our next visit to Austin.

Updated HH Menu (different from website).

Tyler H.

Excellent Happy Hour! They do have an updated HH menu vs what is on their website, but still good. Reasonably priced, nice atmosphere! Definitely worth checking out while in this area.

Munah H.

Drink choice: Ginger Sunrise which consisted of carrot, ginger, turmeric, orange. For my meal, I ordered the " Wagyu Flat Iron & Eggs" which has Wagyu flat iron steak, eggs (your way) and breakfast potatoes. Great customer service as well. My waiter was very attentive.

Keyla V.

The food was great, would love for them to have more veganism options but it's a Stakehouse so it was expected. Ambience and customer service was in point and the Brussels sprouts were delicious.

Husband and I visited over Easter weekend and had a wonderful meal here. The service was outstanding - our water gave us great recommendations, including which bourbon would pair best with the pork chop. Enjoyed east coast oysters, diver scallops and pork. My husband & I went for date night on the 28th and started with the Truffle Honey Burrata & the Blue Crab & artichoke dip. Both of these appetizers were delicious. initially I was going to get the filet, but I'm glad I changed my mind and got the truffle pasta. This meal was fantastic, but seriously, anything with truffles usually is! My husband got the NY strip med rare & unfortunately this came out pretty cold/barely warm. Everything else was piping hot, even his sides of broccolini and creamed spinach. I know they let the meat rest, but maybe this was a bit too long. We told our waitress and the chef warmed it up for him. It wasn't too busy due to the monsoon outside, but it did seem to take forever for our drinks. Dining room had a cool vibe, although the music was a bit loud at times. Maybe they turned up the volume since the other bar was closed. Who knows. The rooftop bar was closed due to the storm, but the view looks great! It'd be perfect on a nice evening! read more

I had a hot date with my wife there last night and we happen to catch the tail end of happy hour, which ends at 7! It was a fantastic culinary experience with SUPERB service and so affordable!! We had the burrata, artichoke dip, tuna tacos, and truffle spaghetti. Holy moly, everything was so delicious! From Glenn (opened the door), to sweet hostess Jalisa, to attentive bartenders Branden and Luke, and wine guru Trevor...every minute there, we felt sincerely taken care of. Friendliest and most delicious dining experience we have had in a long time! We started with the Blue Crab & Artichoke Dip, which was chock full of delicious crab. My wife had the Sashimi Tuna Salad, with perfectly seared ahi and a delicate but flavorful ginger vinaigrette. I had the Brush Creek Ranch Wagyu Burger which included aged cheddar, tomato jam and kewpie mayo that combined to give just the right amount of mouth feel so that the wagyu came across as moist and fatty (in a good way). Even the sides of Elote Street Corn and Creamed Spinach were flavorful and scrumptious. The wait staff all went out of their way to make sure all questions were answered and offered great suggestions the whole way through, especially our server John. Definitely a great dining experience overall. We will be back next time we are in town! read more

In Austin waiting for fam to arrive at airport. Looking for a place that complies with our program! Fresh oysters from East Coast! 6 for $22. Ordered the scallops, spinach and mushroom $38 & petit fillet steak with grilled asparagus $65. The food was delicious and service good and free valet. Overrated. Service was not good - the waiters need more training before putting them on the floor. Being more attentive to diners in terms of filling water glass and remembering to offer milk and sugar when serving coffee would be nice. Knowing the menu would also be nice. I ate there a couple of weeks ago and the food was really good. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant as well which. However, me and my fiancée asked if we could substitute the seasonal veggies that came with our steaks for the street corn and our waiter informed us we could. I assumed there would be some upcharge since it wasn't what initially came with the dish. She didn't state anything but I guess I should of asked because we were charged full price for each corn side. Seems a little ridiculous to not receive the seasonal veggies that come with the steak entrees and then pay full price for the side. At that rate I would have kept the veggies and we would have split one side of corn. When I asked the waiter about the charge she responded with "that's just how it is" and I stated that maybe she should make people aware that they can in fact not substitute the item. She then just stared me down. Everything was great up until that point. So just a heads up. read more

Asked for a wedge salad and they gave us half head of lettuce that we could not cut at the table They said they would not cut it in the kitchen because the chef did not want to mess up the presentation. The server did it for us so we did not have a mess at the table. The steaks were under cooked and this is probably the only place in Austin that does not have baked potatoes or bread with their steaks. Gave the server a large tip and will not be going back. My girlfriend and I came to eat dinner here for an early Valentine's Day and it was the best decision ever! Our waiter John was super friendly and attentive. He knew exactly how to describe all the food and drinks so that we knew what to expect. We had the bone marrow, oysters, salmon and chicken and they were all incredible I don't have any bad things to say. John was also sweet enough to bring out a dessert wine for us when I explained to him that I wanted something dairy free and to me a wine was perfect. Will be coming here again and requesting John again as well! read more

My boyfriend and I had a reservation for their opening weekend, and were looking forward to toasting the night with a free glass of dom perignon. We arrived about 30 minutes earlier than the reservation time, but thought they would be accommodating - not our luck! They decided to sit us at a small high top table in the bar area. The waitress came and asked if we were starting with a drink and waiting for a table. We said no, this is where the sat us for dinner. She did ask if we were ok with the table and my boyfriend quickly explained we were (although I would have preferred a dining room table) - we asked about the champagne toast and she said we would need to order entrees, we said no problem we are planning to order dinner, probably get a bottle of wine as well. In the meantime, the bar manager comes by and asks about whether we are drinking or eating, we said both, this is where the hostess sat us for our dinner reservation. He didn't say a thing. Finally get the food and wine ordered, still no champagne toast .. I think we had to ask a couple times about it, which made me feel like we were just trying to be mooches (we spent over $200 on our dinner). We had the blue crab and artichoke dip (very good), dozen oysters (good), truffled spaghetti (fantastic), pesto whitefish (good, but tomatoes were overripe), and NY strip (average, it was over cooked) .. since it was opening weekend we made some comments to the bar manager and he brought us a brownie on the house. Overall it was ok, I don't think it's worth the prices they were charging, but considering it is in a nice hotel on the north side of town, you really don't have a lot of options. read more

Ordered the spinach dip and beet salad. They both were just ok at best. The beet salad had way to much whipped goat cheese that actually tasted like yogurt and the spinach dip didn't have much flavor. The service was fine but there was an error in the bill that was fixed but I just wonder how many times customers are charged a higher rate based on the spirit that was chosen. In addition the bar charges $3 for a large ice cube. Who has ever heard of that?!o and by the way in addition to paying $3 for the cube have u ever had a bartender put the large cube in your glass with bare hands. Absolutely not. Heck no. read more

I get opening night jitters but... had early reservations, the place was nearly empty and we were led to the last booth next to the kitchen. Stood awkwardly waiting while hostess went off to ??? The server repeatedly apologized for forgetting something (cocktail napkins, appetizer plates, ice cubes (?), printer malfunction. Also shared way too much personal information. My dining companion's plate kept sliding around the slick table (tablecloths?) while trying to cut his food. Our conversation was interrupted 7-8 times by the server and various others during our meal. Returning from the restroom I had to navigate thru the dining room to return to our booth. A crowd of servers at the pay station were blocking the path. Veggie sushi roll had a sauce so fiery it was painfully inedible. Items in the food were not listed on the menu (cream cheese in the sushi, bacon on elote). Food presentation was nice but not outstanding. Skillet cornbread was the best thing. Hopefully things will improve. read more

Our dinning experience at Acre 41 was top notch last night. John was an amazing server and provided the ultimate experience. He was kind, professional and passionate about delivering the value of Acre 41. We ordered almost everything off the menu since we were a bigger group. I split the 18oz prime rib with my boyfriend with mashed potato's and creamed spinach. Absolutely incredible. Creamy, melts in your mouth meal. Forgot to mention they don't use any inflammatory oils or preservatives. Everything is fresh, locally sourced and cooked with organic grass fed butter or olive oil. That makes a big difference! We also ordered the east oysters, cornbread, tuna tacos and beef tartar. We finished with four desserts, key lime pie, chocolate peanut butter cake, skillet brownie and my absolute favorite, the bread pudding. It was the best bread pudding I have ever had. Filled with vanilla, cinnamon and nutty flavors accompanied with Mexican vanilla ice cream. We can't wait to come back! Everything was absolutely delicious and John was awesome! read more

I went here with 3 of my girlfriends from work for dinner during opening week. We started off with the burrata. It was done very well - like a burrata should be. We all ordered something different and shared. The portions were very good for the price! We had the pasta, shrimp & grits, chicken, and porkchop. All were presented impressively and tasted fantastic... still dreaming about that pasta. Our server was Julie - she was quick and attentive. No-nonsense efficiency with a smile. We met the manager Trevor who gave us a fantastic wine recommendation. He knew exactly what to pair that would go with all of our dishes. I've been here a few times now & everytime the experience seems to get worse. We booked our anniversary dinner here and some of the worst service I've ever had. On top of that we couldn't hear each other speak over the staff just behind us talking about some supremely inappropriate things. Spoke to the manager about it and he was extremely nice and we left in better spirits since people make mistakes and the meal itself tasted good. The first time we came here, our waitress looked frustrated every time we asked her for something, but the restaurant looked short staffed, so we understood. The second time was worse. Our waitress was training a guy, which I think was a terrible idea, because she was not very good at remembering things and had no business training another person (the trainee was better than the waitress). If you're going to charge $45 for a filet you cannot afford to fail as big as they did last night. I know every restaurant has it's moments and you don't always get it right, but if you're cooking steaks this expensive and you can't tell a steak is well-done rather than the medium rare it was ordered to be, you shouldn't be cooking $45 steaks. Well-done feels completely different than MR. If you can tell and you send it out just hoping I won't complain, that's even worse. The manager was very apologetic and comped e a drink, but my dinner was ruined and since we were going to a concert I couldn't wait for another steak. The process was further delayed because the bartender we ordered from never came back to check on us. Not once! The only reason I was even able to send my food back was a waiter who was not working the bar, where we were sitting, was more attentive than the bartender who was supposed to be taking care of us. This would have been 1 star if not for him, but unfortunately you don't get two chances when you charge premium prices. We won't be back. read more

I would give a 0 star if possible. The food is alright but our sever is the rudest. We were having dinner with our friends and it happens to be our last meal together before they leave Austin. We ordered a lot of food(over $400) for four people because we are all starving and wanted to celebrate it a little bit. The sever started to hurry us to order the food as soon as we are seated. We basically have to finish our entire meal in 30 minutes because the server came to our table literally every two minutes and asked us if we have finished it. She pushed us to order the dessert even before we get our main. During our meal, She came to the table over 20 times and asked to change our plate while there are plenty of food left in the plate. It is so rude of her doing that and we couldn't have a proper conversation because she kept interrupt us. I have never encountered anything like this and it felt like she didnot want us there at all. I still left the server a generous tip because we wanted our friends' last evening at austin to be memorable. But I want the management team to give us a proper explanation. It is such a big disappointment! read more

I have dined here several times and every time I come the experience is always top notch! Food is delicious, the vibe is classy and chic, and service is impeccable. Their burger is easily one of the best I've had in Austin, especially paired with their thin, crispy fries. It's my go-to order almost every time. Right now they have the steak au poivre, which is incredible, although I'm still craving their steak frites and hoping it makes a comeback. The escargot and French onion soup are also favorites of mine. At this point, June's has become a staple in our house--usually with a couple of Diet Cokes and either the burger or whatever steak they're featuring. A few of my friends swear by the chicken sandwich (fair warning: it can get a little messy!), the half roasted chicken, and the tuna crudo, so you really can't go wrong no matter what you order. There is a QR code that you're required to use to join the waitlist/queue, but this is not clearly communicated on their website. You essentially have to arrive at the restaurant and figure it out once you're there. For a restaurant that is known for having long waits and high traffic, I feel like this information should be clearly stated online so people can plan accordingly. Once I joined the queue, I was number 43 and ended up waiting about an hour and a half before being seated. I understand that popular restaurants can have long wait times, but the lack of transparency about how the process works made the experience more frustrating than it needed to be. Once inside, the ambiance was actually quite quaint and charming. That said, considering how much traffic this restaurant gets, I was surprised by how limited the space is. I honestly think expanding the property would make a huge difference, although I understand that may not be entirely within their control. One thing I will give them major credit for is the menu. Online, the selection makes it look somewhat limited, but once you're there, they actually have 50+ food options, so there is plenty to choose from. That was definitely a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, my entrée was disappointing. I ordered a shredded beef taco with salsa and substituted a side salad. The beef was extremely tender, but unfortunately, it was also very dry. The salad was another disappointment because the vinaigrette was honestly not good. I don't think I've ever had a vinaigrette that I actively disliked until this meal. Thankfully, my fiancé had a much better experience. He ordered an enchilada and said it was one of the top five enchiladas he's ever had, so clearly there are some standout dishes on the menu. That definitely made me curious about trying something different if I ever return. I also really enjoyed that they offer hibiscus tea. I was very happy to see it on the menu, although I personally think it would be better served on its own rather than incorporated into one of their mixed drinks. The drink itself was just okay, but the hibiscus flavor was great. Overall, I can see why this place has become an Austin staple, but I think the experience could be improved significantly by making the waitlist process much clearer online and by improving the consistency of some of the food. The menu has a lot of potential, and clearly, some dishes are excellent! Unfortunately, mine just wasn't one of them.

Acre 41's Thick Bacon Benedict: A Chic, Flavor-Packed Breakfast Experience in Austin As an eggs Benedict aficionado, I've tasted my way through countless versions across the country--and Acre 41's Thick Bacon Benedict is a standout. The marinated asparagus adds a flavorful, unexpected twist that elevates the dish beyond the ordinary. It's rich, savory, and beautifully balanced. The coffee? Bold, aromatic, and absolutely divine. The barista clearly knows their craft--my cup was smooth, strong, and filled the restaurant with that irresistible roasted scent. Easily the best coffee I've had in recent memory. But what truly sets Acre 41 apart is the vibe. Tucked inside the AC Hotel Austin University, the space exudes chic, sexy energy--think boutique hotel in London meets modern European flair. AC Hotels are a European chain, and that influence is unmistakable in the sleek design and stylish atmosphere. My server was attentive and gracious, keeping my coffee and water glass full without missing a beat. The soundtrack was a nostalgic mix of '70s and '80s hits, adding a playful, feel-good rhythm to the morning. I even found myself subtly dancing in my seat while savoring breakfast--pure joy. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Acre 41 is a breakfast destination worth adding to your rotation. I travel to Austin frequently for work, and this spot has officially earned a permanent place on my itinerary. read more

Acre 41 blew me away from the moment I walked in. The architecture is stunning, and there's this warm, energetic buzz in the dining room that sets the mood perfectly. Our waiter, Jeremiah, was fantastic. Super friendly and personable, he made recommendations that were spot-on for our tastes. First up, the wedge salad. Let me tell you, the bacon on this thing was pure magic. It tasted like it came straight from heaven - perfectly smoked, perfectly seared, just incredible. For the entree, we went with the diver scallops. They were cooked to absolute perfection - light, fluffy, and simply divine. The grilled carrots were a great accompaniment, but the real star was the twice-baked potato. Jeremiah recommended it, and wow, did it live up to the hype! The touch of truffle took it to a whole new level. To wash it all down, we had the Trefethen Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. This Cab was full-bodied and amazing. We loved it so much we ended up googling where to buy a bottle (spoiler alert: we found it!). Overall, Acre 41 was an incredible experience. Amazing food, fantastic service, and a great atmosphere. We went to Acre 41 for a birthday dinner with a group of nine, hoping for a high-end steakhouse experience -- unfortunately, it fell short in several ways. The service was extremely slow from start to finish. There were times when we couldn't find our server for up to 45 minutes, and we even ran out of water for quite a while. The automatically included tip probably didn't help the attentiveness -- it definitely felt like there wasn't much urgency or care once that was added. Food-wise, it was hit or miss. The appetizers were excellent -- easily the highlight of the night -- and the classic Old Fashioned was perfectly balanced. However, the entrées were inconsistent: the pork came out overcooked and cold, while the steak was far too rare. The pasta dishes were fine, but nothing remarkable, especially given the upscale pricing. Overall, Acre 41 has potential, but the slow service and uneven food quality made the experience underwhelming. Thankfully, we had a great group of friends that made the long wait and mixed results more enjoyable! read more

Connected to the Otis Hotel so it was a pretty chill and sensually decorated vibe. It was busy so some mistakes were made by our waitress but she definitely fixed that with a comped bread pudding and drink. The strawberry and mint mule was refreshing. The tuna wonton tacos were so fresh and they didn't skimp out on the tuna. The popovers were good, the elote street corn is authentic and get it if you like spice! The only thing I had that was average was the salmon. It didn't have much flavor and was a little cold. The Caesar salad was perfect for my Caesar salad connoisseurs. The bread pudding was the star of the show--get that! read more

The lamb fondue (appetizer) was legitimately one of the best things I've ever eaten, and I'll return next time I'm in Austin for these alone. However, I was extremely disappointed in the Big Ass Burger. It did fulfill the promise of being large, but it was pretty flavorless, and uninteresting. If the lamb fondue is any indicator, any of their other entree choices is likely a more curated and thoughtful presentation in both concept and flavor. I'm gonna be back and I want to rate it 5 stars next time. We shall see...

After looking at the menu, we realized that a few of the dishes we had seen online and were excited to try were only available during weekday lunch. We were a little disappointed, but the staff went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. Our server was incredibly sweet and brought us champagne to celebrate. Then the chef personally came out and surprised us with waffle entrées for each of us, followed by dessert. It was such a thoughtful gesture and completely unexpected! Our server even took us outside afterward and took photos of us to help us remember the day. We left feeling so taken care of and genuinely impressed by the hospitality. Of course we made sure to leave a good tip, and we'll absolutely be coming back to try dinner or weekday lunch next time. Thank you, Ciclo, for making our courthouse wedding day even more memorable!

It was made exactly how I like it--dirty, shaken, and ice cold. The steak frites is also a great value, but the steak was noticeably too salty during my first visit. I initially assumed it was a one-off issue, but when I returned with friends, we all agreed that it was still overly salted. That's definitely something the kitchen should be more mindful of. Aside from the seasoning, the steak was cooked well. I still loved the martini every time, and I'd happily come back for that alone.

We made a reservation for a friend's birthday and I didn't realize how small the restaurant was inside. This isn't to blame for the restaurant, but kinda bummed we were seated outside even though we had a reservation. There were fans blowing and shade, but it was hot outside. We ordered Bacon, Leek, and Goat Cheese Quiche, Citrus Cured Lox, and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The quiche piece was bigger than I expected and it was good, but I didn't really taste the goat cheese. The Citrus Cured Lox was probably my favorite. The hash brown was so crispy and the lox tasted really good too. The pancakes weren't anything too special to me. They were good, but not $20 good to me. To be fair though, I don't know what could make a pancake worth $20. They did give us a complimentary scoop of ice cream with chocolate sauce and sprinkles. That was yummy and they make their ice cream in house! It taste just like blue bell ice cream.

I will give the staff extra credit for being very helpful when recommending other places to visit in Austin. Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. Everything was bland and noticeably under-seasoned, which is especially frustrating at a steakhouse. I was in Austin, Texas, and wanted a great steak dinner, but what I got was a very middle-of-the-road meal. The restaurant is also surrounded by tech companies, which probably should have been my first red flag. For the price and reputation, I expected much more. Highly disappointing.

A wide variety of seafood, steaks, and carbs, along with hand crafted cocktails and an extensive wine menu, this place is one to celebrate with for sure. Everything we ate was rich (in the best way) and delightful. Pricy but generous portions. Overall a wonderful anniversary dinner celebration, and I'd love to revisit! SERVICE: 3.5/5 - Our reservation was for 5:30pm on a Saturday night. We arrived a few mins. early and were seated promptly by the hostess, however, it took a good 10-15 mins. upon being sat before anyone ever came by to our table to even get us set up with water. Fortunately everything was smooth sailing from there. They did bring us the wrong dessert accidentally, but they corrected it and offered to let us have both (we politely declined, as we were too full and not a fan of the other dessert). QUICK FACTS: - Parking? $15 valet is available and easiest. You can also try your luck with street parking around downtown! - Reservations? Yes, highly recommended - especially for Fridays and weekends. - Dress code? Yes, outlined on their website. No athletic wear, hats (except for tasteful ones such as fedoras, berets, etc.), swimwear, etc. FOOD RATINGS: - Parker house rolls (5/5): Who doesn't love warm, buttery, and cheesy bread? This was some of the best bread service I've had! $12 and 100% worth it. - Jumbo lump crab cake (5/5): Probably the best crab cake I've had in Austin, 2nd to Bartlett's. All crab, no breading (which I love). The crispy potato chip topping goes so well and is the perfect bite! - 16 oz. Australian Wagyu ribeye (5/5): A top 3 steak I've eaten in Austin. We ordered medium rare and it was perfectly charred on the outside and juicy on the inside. Rich and delicious. - Scallops (5/5): Simple yet stellar! The citrus and brown butter macadamia nuts was a beautiful combination. - Cappelletti (3/5): If it wasn't for the truffles, this was pretty meh overall. Sauce was okay, carrots seemed just the slightest undercooked. Still tasty though and enjoyable. - Mousseline potatoes (3/5): This is more for show than for actual taste! A fun side dish to look at. Great flavor all around but the potatoes themselves are just mashed potatoes. I probably would skip next time. - Vanilla bean burnt basque cheesecake (5/5): The thickest cheesecake slice I've ever had. Big fan of basque cheesecake and this was pretty well done. Beautiful!

First, the ambiance and decor are spot on. Our server, Eric, was amazing--very attentive, polite, and thorough when answering our menu questions. For drinks, I highly recommend their take on the Paper Plane. Instead of the standard citrus-heavy classic, theirs is beautifully reimagined--much more sweet and cherry-forward, sporting a deep red hue and garnished with a premium black cherry. It's the perfect balance for bourbon lovers who prefer a richer, fruit-driven profile. As for the food, I found the side item portions to be quite generous and absolutely perfect for sharing. For my main entree, I went with the Fresh Genuine Dover Sole, which was delicious. I also made sure to leave room for dessert and highly recommend the Hot Pineapple Upside-Down Cake! Overall, it was a solid experience, completely worth the visit, and highly recommended.

When you walked in you were immediately wowed by the modern, minimalistic vibe. The ceiling is deep and cavernous, while the walls appear to be terracotta and soothing. Aris Steakhouse is voluminous with a bar anchored in the center of the restaurant. Aris is another Austin Restaurant Week selection. My friend ordered the beef Carpaccio, lamb along with a wine pairing. I ordered the octopus skewers and sea bass. No adult beverage for me as I was still on antibiotics. We both ordered the same dessert...baklava ice cream with graham cracker bits. Surprisingly, it was not eye-squinting sweet. All the dishes were next level excellent. Service was superb and plentiful. Our main server was Serb, who was soft spoken, kind and extremely knowledgeable about the menu offerings. Another gentleman served the wines and miniature expresso martini. In addition, a restaurant manager visited our table from time to time to check on us. The only downside was the parking. You could valet park for $8 or you could self-park for free. That's the good news! If you self-park, the not so good news is that the elevator at the center of the garage does not work. In order to get upstairs, you must take an open-air stairwell. Outstanding dining experience...

This was the fourth restaurant I went to for restaurant week so I definitely did the prefix menu which was $75 and had three courses. I also did the $25 wine pairing that consisted of two glasses of wine, one white, one red, and then the last pairing that went with the dessert was an option between a mini espresso martini, and something else which obviously I went with the martini. Started with the beef carpaccio, which was a very large serving, definitely did not finish that however it was very tender. The balsamic vinegar on top as well as arugula, really made the dish pop. Main course consist of the lamb chops and yes, your girl definitely not on the bones to get all of that flavor as it was delicious. Last but not least was the baklava ice cream very tasty. The only downside was that they gave one scoop versus two so definitely be ready to have a craving for that afterwards. The restaurant was very dimly lit vibrant packed for sure we were sitting right near the bar area and kind of a booth table area very cozy. I really enjoyed the playlist which was vibrant and diversified really gave a nice vibe to the overall restaurant service was also amazing. I will say that it seemed to lack at times a little bit too long between the courses. Our reservation was for seven and we didn't end up leaving until closer to 930. I would totally go back to try some other other items. The individual at the front reminded me that on Mondays they have 50% off Wagyu that's a steal! They also do valet parking. I'm not sure if it's complementary or paid as the past two times I've gone. I've used a rideshare service.

But there is a lot of free street parking around. No app needed. They also offer valet too. I was greeted when I walked in. The gentleman asked if I wanted a table or a booth. Table please. I ordered a drink. Even though it wasn't on their cocktail menu, they made me a mojito. So refreshing on this hot day. Looked over the menu and decided on their prosciutto and fig pizza. Sweet and salty combination, I'm here for it. Pizza is lightly fired with a sweet fig spread, and the salty prosciutto. Beautiful shaved parmesan cheese, and arugula. A lot left over for a later snack. Also ordered their steak fries. Big wedge fries crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. That dipping sauce was so good. Highly recommend their wedge fries. Outstanding. I was ready for the check but then saw their dessert menu. They had a 3 small sample of a banana pudding, lemon bar and s'mores bar. I did order this but got it to go. I had their s'mores first which was outstanding. Thick chocolate with an ooey gooey marshmallow, sitting on a graham cracker. The next day at lunch I had the lemon bar. Which had the most flavorful lemon bite. Loved the lemon bar for sure. And for after dinner I finally had the banana pudding, which was good. But seemed rather flat compared to the others which had great flavor. But in all fairness, banana is not a strong flavor fruit. The pudding was good, light and fluffy. All in all, was a lovely meal. And take home dessert. I had enough left over for lunch the next day. Enjoyed it all.
