He could NOT understand why I no longer had the flimsy baggie they put screws in and I had changed them to a more Durable, sturdy and smaller bag with a "Zip-Loc" style closure. When the manager figured out that he was loosing he turned away from me and told the cashier to give me my $3.20, I told them he could keep it, I no longer wanted the refund, if $3.20 was going to make such a large difference in his Daily Cash inflow, they are in much more trouble that I knew. I can live with $3.20 less in my pocket. Be warned, this is NOT a good establishment and their customer service is NOT there. I like ACE, but I will NEVER go back to this store.

Online I found a Rubbermaid 32 gallon black can with wheels. This was a good deal. I didn't put the coupon code when I bought it online. I had to go to the back office and they had to cancel my order and then go up to the front and pay using the coupon. That was pretty silly. I then went to pick up the can. I had to go to the back of the store . One of the helpers went into where they store the online merchandise. He came back with the can and handed me a brand new can that had streaks of dust and dirt all over. It's not a big deal but I thought to myself, you would think the store would take some pride in keeping their products looking clean and new. Ace is a small outfit trying to compete with Low's and Home Depot. You would think customer service would be paramount in getting new business. They didn't win me over.

Measuring the screens they were 1/4 an inch off but the hardware was also different (smaller with less adjustment) the screens literally kept falling out of the tracks. After talking with the manager and being informed I would have to talk to the owner I went back to the store where he asked if he could send someone out to try and fit the screens that don't fit. I reluctantly agreed and set an appointment day of appointment I waited 5 hours called and was informed they were busy and would have to schedule something in the new year. That was early December 25'. This is March he won't refund the 500$ has the screens too. If you want to get ripped of when something doesn't fit Ace is the place!!!

They have a screen section in the back that seems to be quite busy rescreening for our neighborhood. Mike took the measurements for my screen frame and told me the parts should be in 3-4 weeks and that I had to pay in advance. I paid and explained that I was leaving on a trip in a month and wouldn't be back for a couple of months. After 4 weeks the screening material hadn't arrived. Now I have returned from my trip and was told I need to wait another 4 weeks minimum. That would be 12 weeks or more just waiting. I asked them to give me my money back and call me if the screening material arrived and I would pay immediately. They said no can do. Going to start all over again. Looking around.

Any way he looked around a took a bottle off of their grill and exchanged for my bottle that I could not turn it on. Brought it home and it worked great could turn the valve on and off with no problem. He didnt have to exchange my bottle but he did cause he understands that I will be back forever now, because of a little gesture that saved my headaches and time chasing the other brand down. We shook hands and wished each other "Merry Christmas" and just old fashioned help from a neighbor like om the old days.
