Online I found a Rubbermaid 32 gallon black can with wheels. This was a good deal. I didn't put the coupon code when I bought it online. I had to go to the back office and they had to cancel my order and then go up to the front and pay using the coupon. That was pretty silly. I then went to pick up the can. I had to go to the back of the store . One of the helpers went into where they store the online merchandise. He came back with the can and handed me a brand new can that had streaks of dust and dirt all over. It's not a big deal but I thought to myself, you would think the store would take some pride in keeping their products looking clean and new. Ace is a small outfit trying to compete with Low's and Home Depot. You would think customer service would be paramount in getting new business. They didn't win me over.

I recently called this company to come out for a leak in my yard. Upon arrival I was told that this…read moreisn't something they can handle. However the tech Michael walked throughout the house and somehow we landed on my water softener, which he stated is a must and is really unhealthy for our family and must be replaced. $6200 dollars later I had a new water softener but then my water heater started leaking on the bottom days later, it appears there is a missing valve. My husband and I saw that Michael had attached a hose to the bottom of our water heater and most likely forgot to replace the valve. However when Michael returned he claims he told us our water heater needed replacing, which he DID NOT And I told him so. Then he proceeded to quote us $300 to a replace a valve to our water heater . The interesting thing Is the valve isn't even there now. We've decided to go another route with the repair but upon Michael leaving we went from a minor leak to a major leak. I have been a home owner for 10 years and have never experienced this. we feel taken advantage of and all he cancelling our membership and no longer using their services.

This True Value store is so like the hardware stores I grew up with, with seemingly anything you…read moreneed without having to wander through acres of aisles like in the Big Box stores. The prices are fair, they give discounts to veterans, have helpful staff, and they run regular sales that are worth keeping track of. Make sure you sign up for their app and get your phone into their system so you can get good deals. Often there are plants outside that are well suited to our area and although they may cost a little more, they will probably be successful for you as they have for me. Drop by regularly since they have lots of seasonal items. Some years back they used to have a popcorn machine and it was such fun to browse around while munching some free popcorn. I wish they'd bring it back as it added a special festival atmosphere, even if they have to put a little coin box for people to kick in some quarters...Keep your money local and shop here when you can. It's in a pleasant little strip mall, Greenway Terrace, that has plenty of shops to help with your other errands too: with three restaurants, a day spa, cookie shop, barber shop, hair salon, dollar store, gift shop with a P.O. contract store, clothing store, dentist, flooring shop, insurance office, and hearing aid store.

Not my first negative experience with Home Depot but I'm thinking this is the last. Purchased a…read moresolar battery and portable charging panel from them Nov 2025. Tested the unit and it worked on 3 occasions. Stored it properly, brought it out to test today for a new project - panel is dead. Ecoflow blames Home Depot; home depot blames EcoFlow; they tell me to come in and exchange, then call back to tell me I cannot because of their special policy of not carrying Ecoflow. Except they do, and they lie. so don't spend your money on Ecoflow OR Home Depot. Their customer service changes their policy by the second and they clearly do not respect their own policy on a 12 month warranty.
