Was in need of two tires in stock from a TS. This one was over an hour away. We called to check for their stock of what we needed. Scott was super helpful and said he would put them aside for me when I arrived. So grateful for this customer service knowledge so I didn't have to make a wasted trip. Ya know, gas prices these day. Ugh. Anyways. Arrived, Scott was friendly and as promised my two tires were sitting right next to him at customer service booth. He helped me load into the cart, walked me to the cashier to make sure it was rung up right (one was a warranty exchange) and also OFFERED to help me load them into my vehicle. Proceeded to push the cart of tires and load them in. Whew! Awesome! That was really appreciated as I had my little dog in my arms since it was hot as could be outside and didn't want her feet burned on the pavement. That there was personal service. I have to take a moment to highlight the surprise TC! Every time I step foot in here to get something for my horses I am always leaving a happy customer. The staff is friendly and helpful, everything is usually is stock and if it's not they explain why or see when they're getting the next shipment, and they always offer to help take the heavy stuff to the car. The selection is wild and can tackle any project of course but I mainly go for equine and maybe clothes. I also appreciate the prices as it makes an expensive hobby more affordable! O read more

Horrible customer service. Went to purchase a gun safe. Greeted by an associate he shows me the safe. Another customer asked him a questions he left and went to helped her. I figured he would be right back to check on us. Over the next 30 mins he and other associates walk right by us and never ask if we need help. I had done my research prior to going to the store and was there to buy the gun safe. At this point I clearly see customer service is not a priority of anyone at this location. read more

I was hunting for some less expensive rabbit food and bedding for my bunnies (I have five), and I hit the jackpot with Tractor Supply Company. Not only do they have rabbit needs for less money than pet stores, but their staff is wonderfully helpful. Then, of course, I had to check out the rest of the store and was delighted at their variety of inventory.. everything from farm supplies to clothing. I was like a kid at Christmas. I went to the store in Surprise AZ.. a note to others wanting to shop there: it's a bit quirky to find the entrance to the store because most GPSs haven't got the new roads right yet. The best way is to take Greenway Road and turn south on Cotton Lane. Then turn left (East) on Custer Lane, and an immediate left into their parking lot. Happy shopping, everyone! read more

You don't need to own a tractor or a farm to shop here. They have a surprising array of stuff in this store. Their pet food and supply selection is enormous! They also sell Christmas trees and toys, gun safes, tools and clothing. I even saw zip lines for sale here. There's also a food truck that is open at particular times in the parking lot! The store employees say they order it from a "local" grower who calls them when he has it but hasn't had it for a year. What in the hell? Well I had a HORRIBLE experience at the Suprise, AZ location. "Edward" who claimed to be the "manager for this location and stating that there's no one above him, can really show short temper, frustration, poor manners, poor customer service, extremely rude, sarcastic and definitely poor training for his title, position at this company. On January 23, 2022 at approximately 1200hrs, I called in this store to let them know I received expired dog food at the Tolleson, AZ location and if it was possible to come in to this location so I can get a refund on my items and also make a purchase on additional items because the Tolleson store was out of the items I needed. Whoever the person I talked to over the phone stated yes, to come in. Once I showed up to the Surprise location, I walked in with my merchandise on hand and approached a register where I was able to explain myself to her about my situation. The cashier politely asked me to leave the merchandise behind the register and go ahead inside the store to select my items. Once I returned to the register, I was able to buy my items and left home. Once I got home, unfortunately, I noticed that the cashier forgot to scan my personal items that I came in with to perform a return and get credit towards my new purchase so my personal merchandise was left behind at the store. I immediately called it in and one of the staff members apologized and transferred me to the manager "Edward" to review my options. "Edward" refused to identify himself multiple times and even attempted to hang the call on me after I asked who was I speaking with and if this was the manager. After talking to "Edward" about my situation, he stated that whenever I'm ready to go back to the store and get my merchandise because according to him, people makes mistakes and he believes that I made a transaction with a human. "Edward" was very disrespectful and showing anger towards me. I was not happy how he handled this situation so I decided to call customer service to let them know how was treated. They advised to go back to the store and get my merchandise back and that they were wrong and not following the return policy (ref# Ima0360463). On January 29, 2022 I came in to the store and asked to talk to "Edward". Once Edward approached me, I informed him who I was and he once again said, "what was the merchandise"? I told him what it was and he stated that he does not believe me what I left behind and that I didn't have any proof but he knew exactly who I was and customer services also talked to him and advised him to keep my merchandise in store for me. He then asked me to grab anything I want. I then remarked it out loud and on video since I was recording the entire conversation since I walked in. I said "so I can grab anything I want"? He said go ahead. I only decided to grab my merchandise that belong to me. He took me to the back of the store to show him what other items I left behind. I told him it was The Golden puppy food and he said that they didn't sell that food. I said, well you know I came in from another store and I attempted to make the return transaction at this store location. He said well we don't sell this food so I don't believe you and you don't have any proof. I then grabbed only my 2 Colostrum pens and walked out the store and he immediately called the police on me that there was a theft in progress so I decided to wait at the front of the store. Edward then came to my face and called me a Thief ( I have it on video). Once PD showed up, they did nothing and let me go. Edward did wanted me trespassed from the premises so I decided to leave. We had heard the new Tractor Supply in Surprise was opening this weekend so we came to check it out. When we arrived it was pretty busy. Employees were all wearing masks and friendly. At first glance it reminded me a bit of a Home Depot/Ace Hardware type. Upon entry there are many different things to see; outdoor furniture, yard tools, truck/trailer items, pet food, clothes and even boots. I was pleased surprised to see a pretty large selection on different animal food, beds, toys etc to purchase and way better prices than the larger chain stores around. My favorite part was to see they have a pet washing station in the back that you can go in and wash your animals yourself. It is currently closed due to COVID, bu can't wait to utilize it instead of trying to wash my dogs in my tub. Check out was a great process as well. Instead of having to wait in a longer line a employee came to us with a handheld scanner since we were using our card to pay. We were able to buy and leave so much quicker. We'll definitely be back. read more

Friendly staff, decent prices, lots of things from clothes to horse tack. Some of their inventory does move fast such as dog food, so not everything may be in stock. Unlike Home Depot or Lowe's, they don't have a lot of decorating knick-knacks. They are more like a traditional country farm & ranch supply house. read more

I had to drive 40 minutes to this store because my local Tractor Supply was sold out of chicks and I promised my kids that we would get some more chicks. Walked back to where the chickens were and was helped by Scott the manager. His customer service was the best I've had in a long time. He explained the different breeds to me and also walked the store helping to get everything i needed. I had my little girl with me, Scott was very nice and offered to carry some of the supplies while i helped her carry our new chickens and 1 duck up to the register. Really i needed a cart but he didn't seem to mind. I usually don't sign up for store benefits but after Scott explained the pros to me i signed up. We were all set to leave the store and was again helped by this man (Scott) out to the truck to get everything loaded up. I have to say that while it's out of my way, this will be my Tractor Supply. Every time I go in the large carts are all being utilized by store employees to prep online/pickup orders, leaving only grocery carts. I buy large feed bags for my livestock and dogs and sometimes other supplies. I asked an employee once about the issue and he just shrugged his shoulders. read more

This store is next to my grocery store in Surprise AZ making it easy to pick up both orders same day. This was my first online order. Ease of site was ok until I checked out. I'd ordered two items. When I hit the send button I barely caught it showed two different store locations. It was late at night and CS wasn't open. I did contact them and they canceled the item. Very helpful CS. I arrived for pickup and I didn't see any signs directing traffic to a pick up location so around the building I went. Not a big deal. I followed directions on the pick up sign and was talking to my pup when the hatch on my SUV was opened, a 50lb bag thrown inside and then a big boom and shaking of my car as the hatch was slammed shut. In 20 seconds that happened and the young man was half way back to the store entrance. No greeting, verify my order, NOTHING!! OK maybe he lives on a farm and doesn't have a lot of interaction with people. Just keep it on the farm because I had to get out and check to see I received the correct item. But what I really don't do well with is when I'm ignored. My purchase helps that person have a job. If you can't say "hi" and "thank you" well I can drive just a few miles further and shop there. The public made allowances during the Pandemic and we accepted terrible treatment by CS reps. The world has started revolving again and I personally won't except lousy treatment anymore. I will shop we're service is provided for customers. Since this was my first purchase I will try another order. read more
