I do not shop here too often as I used to when we had a Green Egg, but it is a handy hardware store to have if you live in the area. They employees are always friendly and thry go out of their way to help you. They offer a lot of odds and ends, yet they are still very organized. They used to have the Green Egg in the tiniest size I got a kick out of but it wasn't there this visit. A handy place to fill your propane tanks as well.

They are quite helpful finding items I needed to buy that were on their sale flyer. I was very happy with the sales associate.

I also pulled some samplebchips for a commercial job for my husband, which was super easy, as I was searching by color to match an object, not by name and number. More expensive, but they have good product lines and commercial tends to lean towards them more at this time because of their quality compared to other brands.

After my Father passed away recently, she decided to redecorate and repaint the interior of her home, beginning with her bedroom. This was a significant and emotional change, as it was the first time in nearly 60 years that she was making their bedroom entirely her own. My Mother has been a loyal customer who purchases the highest-end paint and best supplies available. I began accompanying her because, on several occasions when she went alone, her bedroom paint color was mixed incorrectly or she was given the wrong finish, requiring multiple trips back to return or exchange products. On one occasion when I accompanied her to return an item, the manager, Ryan, handled the situation exceptionally well. He was professional, knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and genuinely kind. His customer service was absolutely top notch. Ryan is 100% 5-STAR'S!! Unfortunately, the issue I am writing about involves a different employee, a brunette woman in her twenties with glasses named Danna. This is not about one isolated incident or misunderstanding. On more than five separate occasions, I have personally witnessed Danna being absolutely rude and condescending toward my Mother. Her tone repeatedly comes across as though she is talking down to my Mother or treating her as incapable of understanding what is being discussed. On my last trip with her to the store, Danna's behavior became so disrespectful that I needed to step in and speak on my Mother's behalf. During another return/exchange situation, while we were already discussing the issue directly with Ryan, Danna came over and inserted herself into the conversation. No one asked for her help or input. She began talking over Ryan and attempting to take control of a conversation he was already handling professionally. From my perspective, her behavior was inappropriate toward us as customers and appeared to undermine the authority of her own manager. The level of condescension from Danna has been consistent enough that I cannot view it as simply someone having a bad day. My Mother is an elderly woman and a long-time, loyal customer who spends a significant amount of money at this store. She deserves patience, respect, and basic courtesy--not to be spoken down to, made to feel unintelligent, or treated as an inconvenience. There was also an advertised discount issue. My Mother went there alone last week for paint supplies and was given only 40% off by Danna when the promotion clearly advertised 50% off. She didn't notice the error until she got home, meaning we now have to make ANOTHER trip back to correct this too. Considering the repeated issues she has experienced with Danna, I find it especially frustrating that she continues to deal with unnecessary problems despite being such a loyal customer. At this point, my Mother should not feel anxious or uncomfortable walking into a store where she has spent so much money simply because she is worried about how she may be treated by Danna. I hope management takes the repeated customer service issues involving Danna seriously. One employee should not repeatedly diminish an otherwise positive customer experience, especially when employees like Ryan demonstrate exceptional customer service. Ryan deserves recognition for the way he treats customers. Danna, however, needs to understand that being knowledgeable about products does not give her the right to be rude, condescending, dismissive, or disrespectful to customers. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously and that appropriate steps are taken to address the repeated concerns involving Danna. My Mother deserves better, and frankly, so do all customers who choose to spend their hard-earned money at this location.

We asked an employee what was included and were told everything was 60% off, so we excitedly loaded up our carts. At checkout, we learned that the discount actually applied only to trees, which was understandably disappointing and meant rethinking most of our purchases. Summer and Mike went above and beyond to make sure we still felt valued and left happy. They gave us the best discount available to them, helped us load everything into the car, and even gave us some Moon Juice on the house. Although the experience started with a frustrating misunderstanding, they handled it with genuine kindness and excellent customer service. We felt very well taken care of and will definitely return!

We were very excited to purchase our two Pygmy palms. Implantation was June 3. After a few days…read morewe noticed the trunk of one of the palms was leaning very far over, and there was fibrous root material exposed above the ground. On June 6, both I and my husband (who was out of town at the time) spoke with the salesman at Moon Valley Nursery. I indicated my concern and provided him with pictures and told him one of the trunks was very wobbly and leaning at such an angle that it was almost parallel to the ground. He told me that it looked normal and they could come out and put additional mulch on it. He said the wobbliness was normal as the roots hadn't taken hold. I told him the other palm was not wobbly like that and they were planted at the same time. The other palm was doing just fine. I reiterated that it just didn't look right to me. He conferred with his supervisor and told me that his supervisor also said it was fine and looked normal. I felt reluctance on their part to come out to inspect it. There are also many palms in my neighborhood, none of which looked like this. Including my other palm. Midway into the next week my husband was in the yard and a landscaper stopped his truck and approached my husband, commenting that there was something wrong with the palm. He said he was familiar with them, having planted many, and it didn't look well. We phoned Moon Valley again and waited for a return call at which time we relayed this conversation and said someone needed to come out and take a look at the palm. This was on a Friday--nine days post-implantation. Our salesman said that a supervisor would reach out to--most likely Monday and schedule a visit. Monday came with no call. When we followed up, the story changed and we were told someone would contact us to "get us on a schedule." We were having other work done and opted to replace it the third week of June. We were given the name and number of the district manager and left a message for a callback. On June 18 (next day), he phoned us back and we shared our experience with him. He was very apologetic for the service we received and gave us the store manager's name, said he was going to note our account and take care of us. At that point, I asked for clarification on what "take care of us" meant. He said he would be having the manager refund us for the palm. On June 19, we finally got an email that we were on the schedule for someone to inspect the palm on June 25. We did not respond as we were waiting for a call from the manager and planned to address that inspection with her at that time. I followed up with the nursery on the June 22. The manager was off that day however, the man I spoke with said he would see about getting our refund processed that day. I asked for a call back to confirm it was in process. As you can probably guess, there was no call back. On the morning of the June 24, I phoned the nursery again. I asked if the manager was in. The woman who came to the phone was not the manager, and said they would provide an in-house credit. I told her that is not what the district manager told me would be happening; that I was specifically told I would get a refund for that palm. She told me that is not their store policy at which point I told her that she needed to follow up with the district manager that I spoke with, and that it was supposed to have been noted on my account that it was a refund, not a credit. I asked her to look confirm and call me back. At that point, we also left a message for the district manager to look into it on his end. No response from either the nursery or the district manager. Today, the 25th, we have texted the district manager to follow up, and phoned the nursery yet again. This time we have asked for the manager herself to phone us back. I have over 40 years in the financial and member services industry. I recognize great customer service when I receive it. There is definitely room for improvement from this company. The whole situation with the palm has caused no small amount of stress. I am hopeful that the refund will happen. I know that bad reviews travel further than good ones. If this is resolved to my satisfaction, I'm happy to edit this in the near future; for now I remain extremely disappointed and would not recommend this company.
