T & M Hardware has never been closed, has never been temporarily closed AND IS NOT PERMANETLY…read moreCLOSED! Hours and contact info to follow. 623-934-4030 Covid - 19 as we all know has effected many - and sadly it has not been in a positive way. This 2nd generation family owned and OPERATED hardware store has had several setbacks since the original Owners (Tony & Martha) passed away handing it down to their children who are now running the business. Times have certainly changed - and the family owned businesses in our community are working much harder to keep up with the chain type stores. Many people in Glendale and the entire Valley knew Tony & Martha personally and their children as they grew up in the business. This store so small was often referred to as - IF YOU CANT FIND IT ANYWHERE - GO TO T&M - THEY HAVE EVERYTHING - and very seldom did a customer leave empty handed, because somewhere in that small - fully packed store with wall to wall products -- they had what you needed. If not Tony knew where you could get it, if it wasn't in our valley he would bring it in from out-of-town and you would come back for it in a few days. No internet or Amazon back in those days, mind you. lol The same customer service still existing this neighborhood Hardware Store and I find it sad to see that "YELP" Has listed it as "PERMANENTLY CLOSED" Because it is NOT - IT IS OPEN! Do to several setbacks and now the Covid-19 situation (which we pray will end soon) the store has cut hours) -- the main change is fewer employees and instead of circles taped or painted on the floor 6' apart all over the store . . . . Can those of you who have been our customers all these years imagine that in here! That's more than funny! Anyway - Now our customer have sidewalk pick-up whether they call ahead or not. You just ring the bell we answer from where ever we are in the store, take your order or description and go pull it. We come back out to you, make sure it's correct, make a ticket and bag it and you're done and on your way. Next customer please. So wear your it sweater and bring your music and relax while you shop. (I mean, we shop) And you don't have to worry about dots and arrows allover the floor. P.S. #2 We know it might slow your day down a bit - and we apologize for items that are temporarily out of stock ( remember if we don't have it we can't sell it - so we're doing our best and hope it's enough) - but we would rather keep us all safe, and hope we don't have to list us on "YELP" that we're permanently closed for real!

I'm submitting a complaint about an incident that occurred at Harbor Freight Store #02997 on August…read more7 at approximately 2:40 PM. The cashier's name was Elizabeth. I never leave bad reviews about any store because I never care enough. But the interaction I had today was actually crazy. I thought I might've been on a prank show. There was nothing wrong with my return -- I wasn't upset, I wasn't being difficult, and I had no problem with Harbor Freight's policy. I just asked a simple question about why the process seemed different than usual. In response, Elizabeth became visibly agitated, spoke over me, and said, "Since you're in the military, you need to learn some patience," referencing the uniform I had on. That comment really threw me off. I don't think wearing a uniform makes me better than anyone else, but it definitely doesn't make me the person you pick a fight with -- especially when nothing is wrong. I wasn't being rude or sarcastic, but she treated me like I was. The part that confused me the most is that she seemed to create a scenario in her head and then react to it. It felt like she was projecting some kind of frustration onto me, even though I was calm and just asking a question. The manager eventually stepped in to explain the return system, and I had to clarify multiple times that I wasn't upset with the policy at all -- I had no issue with the return process. My issue was her attitude and behavior, which turned a normal interaction into something extremely uncomfortable for no reason. She was escalating a situation that never existed. I left that store upset and confused. I've spent thousands of dollars at Harbor Freight and have always had good experiences -- until now. I hope this gets addressed, because that kind of customer interaction is unacceptable.

Finally Emma Gonzales, comes in doesn't acknowledge us at first then takes are bidder number. We then ask how long do you think it will be. She tells us she has no idea and just go sit down outside (100 degrees outside), and wait to be called. Rude, but we did it, there were several others waiting for their items as well. Three of them had already been waiting for more than 20 minutes. After being there for 30 minutes we call the corporate office to complain. My Husband is a disabled vet and was beginning to feel ill. at this time there were about 15-20 people waiting and I could not get a hold of any of the employees to tell them we had to leave. We called corporate again and explained the situation, they told us to reach out to the owner, that they would try and help us but we needed to do that first. This place is open 8-2 and if your item/s are not brought out they close and it's just to bad. Well I texted the two people on the web site, Emma being one of them. Told them the situation, she says " you are the ones that called corporate , right?) , not let see what I can do to fix the situation. She then tells me one of my items has been misplaced and they will offer a refund on that one. I was told I could pick up my other item the following day. I reassured her I would do that. You would think that she would ensure it was ready to be picked, it wasn't and we waited for her to finish typing for another five minutes, before even looking up at us. Again just rude. We picked up our item, took it home, and it is not the correct item! For the love of God! Why is this so hard for her to figure out! I sent multiple photos and told her I wanted a complete refund, and she could come pick it up. I was not going to drive down there for a third time. My time is valuable and I was fair about everything. She messaged back and said no you return or no refund. At this point I'm going to eat the loss but I will post as many reviews as possible, I don't want anyone else to be treated so badly. Just a side note ; when reaching out to corporate they did state they have had numerous complaints about this auction house and they were probably going to discontinue allowing them to use Local Auctions Platform.
