This is the closest location to me so I end up here but I hate, and I mean absolutely hate, shopping here. I came because I did find tyle for a new bathroom and the prices were great. Stocking, always fantastic.They always have plenty of selection of everything and really good sales. The loss of four stars... I can only imagine what their theft statistics are. There may be one floor staff member for every thirtyfive customers in the store. I can honestly say I could be in the store in a particular section for a minimum of twenty minutes before I even see floor staff. If I walk all the way up to the front [again] to ask for someone, it's still another ten or fifteen minutes before somebody comes by. Horrible horrible staffing issues. If I could give five stars to individual employees, it would be Marveen and Marina. For my last visit there, these were the only two that I actually came across. And both went over and above to help me out. It was the first time ever and I have been in this area for a since lowe's was built. read more

July 17, 2025, I visited Lowe's store #1728 in Glendale, AZ. I ordered a security screen door and doorknob, Sedona Satin Brass Interior/Exterior Keyed Entry Door Handle ft. SmartKey Security. I paid $35 for installers to come and measure my front door. July 24 the installer came and measured my door. A week or so later after the installation date, I visited the store to find out why no one came to install my purchases. A person at the service desk said that there was a wrong part on the security screen door I had ordered. Something had to be ordered but never clarified exactly what was ordered. August 6 the installer came and put the security door up. He told me the store had sent the wrong knob. He said Lowe's would have to order the correct doorknob because he had been required to install the one that he was given, not one on the order form, namely Tylo Polished Brass Exterior Keyed Entry DoorKnob with Antimicrobial Technology. August 7 $691.98 was withdrawn from my account even though the work was incomplete. September 6, I visited the store again because I had heard nothing about when the correct doorknob would be installed. September 10 someone called from the store to stay they had ordered the correct doorknob and had it sent to my house. September18 they installed the correct doorknob, the Smart Key. In total, nine weeks passed from order to completion, unacceptable for a responsible business. read more

Management is terrible here. Mavery or whoever is the afternoon manager is disrespectful, ill-mannered, and nasty. The staff there has an insane lack of professionalism. They do not respect you as a person or their prices. I had evidence saying they had an item at a clearance price and would not honor it. I am beyond disappointed in their customer service, it is absolutely garbage. They are rude and treat their customers as if they had no dignity, bordering racism. We went in and they claim that's the on line price. Christian the assistant manager wasn't very helpful. He insisted it's $149. even tho the app scanner on my phone scanned it at $119. I really needed it as my plumber was waiting for a faucet. Such confusing prices even a cashier agreed with me. They wouldn't budge they said $119. is the only line price. I offered to go that route and buy it on line and then pick it up now. They said no you buy it on line you can't pickup till Tuesday. Horrible, place to shop confusing prices. I am a long-time Lowes Customer and Retired Military, I went to this store this morning on Veterans Day and found a Blackburn Grill I could afford, I had a Team member come over to see if I could pay for delivery, he scanned the box and informed me that it was in the wrong spot but I would still get it for that price. A manager named Collen came over and said that they do not honor shelf prices if they are wrong. After he told me I would get it I called my son to come and get me and the grill (I am 70 years old and cannot drive} so my son drove all the way there for nothing. I saved $200.00 and Lowes lost a loyal customer. read more

Just like any another Lowe's location. Staff is friendly and helpful. But I don't like that they don't stock seasonal items as soon as they're out on the shelves. More then a handful of times staff has had to go back and grab them or bring a forklift out to grab the items. At least staff doesn't mind and they're very quick. Their store is clean, bathrooms are clean, and there's plenty of parking with a few restaurants and stores nearby. read more

It's just a strange place. Parking lot dark and lots of homeless roaming around. Been like that for a while. All they need to do is fix the lights. Can't figure out why they don't. Don't they care about their customers? Their employees? It's weird. Always seems some confusion at registers when using gift cards. Some registers can plug in sales and others can't. Employees just milling around by registers but not one found in the store to help. At registers they often seem perturbed to actually have a customer. Management there must be awful. In sum: this store needs a lot of work. Maybe they lost a lot of business with their poor political stance. It's nearly a ghost town there at night.... Came here to shop for a customer (Instacart). My God, what a mistake it was accepting that order. From the second I walked in the door, I dealt with incompetency on behalf of nearly every employee I came across. The girl upfront near self-checkout; Clueless. Didn't know where anything was located & I had my time wasted with her. Then I go down another aisle for the next item, can't find what I'm looking for, takes me another 5 to 10 minutes to find an employee who's willing to walk over and assist me. He gives up & gets somebody else who can't find the original item ordered (even though it's on display and their system claims theres one in stock)... Then the customers backup item is not on display BUT has 8 in stock (according to the system) yet it's located way up in the rafters where you have to be a California Condor or some type of mf Hawk just to reach it. He climbed up on the ladder to bring this box down and then starts cutting it open and I'm standing there with the timer running like bro WTF are you doing right now? I don't have time for this. Well, it turns out the actual item is boxed in bulk alongside several others so he has to cut the exterior box to get to it, which wastes time for everybody. So at this point, I have two of the six items on the order which is not good as I'm already over on time. I get outside and see this heavyset man helping to put items in the back of someone's car in the plant section. I just knew the guy would be just as enthusiastic about helping me as he was with them, only for him to come back inside and act like I was inconveniencing him (flailing his hand up in the air toward the wall when I asked him where the plant food was located, not interested in walking over there with me)... Then I get over there (without his help) and of course it's the wrong item. In the end, I canceled the order, leaving empty-handed, wasting both MY time, in addition to the time of the customer I was shopping for (all as a result of the incompetent employees who work at this location in addition to the sorry excuse for a store manager [who clearly doesn't know how to properly train their employees and set them up for success]). Do not purchase and install doors through Lowe's. My wife and I had Lowe's come out to our house to do measurements and an estimate, and then the store's installation company came out to do its measurements but they didn't fully record the measurements to complete the order. After numerous phone calls and a trip to the store, we still could not get Lowe's to complete the measurements and order to do the job. James, the job coordinator, kept promising that this would get done, but after 2 months nothing was ever accomplished. Lowe's is not the place to go for doors and door installations. read more

I am so impressed with the staff at Lowe's. I went in on Tuesday night to look at appliances. I tried to buy them at a nearby competitor but they would not work with me or give me any type of discount. I worked with Nick in the appliance department and was able to put together a four piece appliance package. Although, the refrigerator was on back order like most things these days, I was told upfront and didn't expect to see it until August or September. To my surprise on Thursday Lowe's showed up with my electric oven and new refrigerator. Through out the store the evening staff and manager were so helpful. I went to Lowe's because Home Depot screwed up my kitchen reno and I figured they had to be better. All I wanted was new shutters. First they came and measured, then the shipment came and the frame was broken. Then they sent another shipment and it was measured wrong. Then they reordered it and two shipments came, and neither one was measured correctly. On the fourth attempt we were done and we requested and received a 1,500 refund. When we went to request the refund, little Teena in the shutters and shade department, and the store "manager" said it wasn't their fault. Of course, both Lowes and Home Depot have no control over their subs, so why bother going through them in the first place? Lesson learned. read more

I love the employees there but the managers don't care about communication-customer service- installing and delivery. Store director Elena said she would call by end of business day. I called after 6pm and Dawn night manager hung up on me. Called again and she said the winds are bad. I love across the street. She said she was suppose to call me. When? They blame the installers for not following through when the product was at the store the whole time. The delivery coordinator doesn't want to look up invoices or help with the situation. There is no communication after you purchase an appliance for any status. Am I the only one? I shop there more than I do grocery shopping. Maybe they don't care like Walmart doesn't and treat the customers like we are bothering them because they would rather play on their phones. Very disappointed with the customer service lately. Very disappointed in the customer service dealt with today. Came in to have a MDF half inch board cut down like we have in the past and were denied after waiting for someone for 30 minutes. Waited behind another customer who claimed he had been standing and waiting for a long time as well. An employee came up to help us and told us they don't cut the type of board we had. Made sure to let us know he was only a loader so had zero knowledge on wood. Even walked around a corner to "ask someone" if he could to which they apparently denied him. Before leaving we stopped another employee and asked when they stopped cutting MDF and he let us know Lowe's never did stop. Walking all the way back we waited for another 15 minutes where I noticed a sheet of paper hanging next to the saw for employees which I've pictured. We were finally approached by Patrick with the blonde tips who was extremely apologetic. He is the only reason I'm leaving two stars because he went above and beyond with helping us. Placed an order that was noted 4 weeks wait with a delivery date scheduled. As we got closer, we got a 12 hour delivery window. The day of delivery, I called customer service to narrow down the time frame. 30 minutes into the window a Rep called to say the merchandise hadn't arrived and may be in Saturday or Monday or possibly not for another 28 days. Well, after confirming the original appointment, we scheduled a contractor who had to be paid. Emailed their alleged Customer Service Dept to be told 3 days later, product didn't arrive from Vendor, so it will be another 4 weeks. No apology, nada. Absolutely atrocious service, nothing proactive about them, not organized, no one knows and no one cares, period. Only make a purchase if you can take it with you that day or have weeks to wait, be ignored, get the runaround, and have your money taken to be treated like crap. read more
