Excellent service every time!! Eric is always helpful. He goes the extra mile, always. No big box stores foe me. Thanks to all of you!!

Atrocious customer service. Came in for air filters Forget the size and went back home. Was reminded of the hour and the fact they were closing repeatedly while being locked in the store. Complaining about customers making purchases close to closing time as well read more

I'm not very handy. So when I need something I always go to this store. The people are friendly and helpful and always have what I need. I went yesterday and a new person helped me. A tall woman who knew just what I needed. A very personal experience compared to someplace like home depot. read more

Rude.the managers act very entitled they have probably never had any problems in their lives were probably spoiled brats. I hope they end up in trouble one day and see if they can handle it and deal with the negative attitudes. Every normal person goes through life struggles and faces it. Ronna is very rude read more

Call before even thinking about driving here because they probably don't have what you want. After going online, the website stated that they had 12 packs of pool shock. Even offered the option to purchase online and set up curbside pickup. Glad I did not do so. Upon arrival, I simply could not find the item. I'm giving an extra star because of the younger gentleman who was helpful and tried to assist. However, he called someone else when he also could not locate the item. The older gentleman who then showed up was anything but helpful, and instead quite rude. When I calmly mentioned the website (as it's certainly not their fault they don't have it), he rudely retorted that the website is corporate and they have nothing to do with it. As if it was my fault for being an idiot (it sometimes is, but not this occasion), he argued that the website clearly states not available at all stores. When I told him it says specifically available at this location, he intimated that I was a liar. I chose not to argue, given I had my phone in hand with the site pulled up showing otherwise as indicated in my screenshot. read more

Paul's Ace Hardware - Website - Hardware Stores Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

Contacted Ace Hardware off Vis Linda when my car guy noted they can do key fobs. They were super informative super professional had the key in stock and had it done quickly. Will definitely be going back to this Ace Hardware for stuff we need as a service was so great!!!! read more

I've been working on a job across the street from this ace. Collin and the whole entire crew have been helpful. They have made all of my trips to Ace very fast and convenient. read more

The staff are very knowledgeable across all needs including electrical, plumbing and general household needs. They are always very helpful. The best! read more

Just a great personal experience every time. Prices are competitive to HD, but without the hassle of a giant store. Everyone is friendly, and if you use the coupon you get the more you shop, you can really save a good amount of money over time. If it's basic stuff I need, or a custom order, it's always a great experience. read more

Yeah after asking a question to a "helpful" employee that got me nowhere, I left bewildered and a bit pissed. Will not be back. I asked where some stovetop drip pans were and the guy looked at me like I was stupid and only gave me "...well I dunno about that." Pretty rudely so, and I spotted them myself and he still was being a bit offputting and didn't seem to like helping. Its tough to describe but that was just not ok and not like any Ace help should be. I should've called and spoke with management but had to be somewhere. Might I mention, this isn't the first time I had an issue here (twice a key cut was botched) or have been treated like a nuisance by someone here which was probably the same guy. His name starts with a D but I forget. read more

Found what I came in to find, with the help of the staff. Signed up for their card, because I know I will be back. This is one of those places where that is guaranteed: things break, and need replacing. read more

Every time I go into this store everyone goes out of their way to help me I shop there often and that's one of the reasons why they have a lot of things that I need and buy and the employees are always nice and so helpful I used to live closer to it but moved further away and I still go there and always will Thank you all read more

Ronna was truly the happiness of my day after a horrible situation. They were so friendly and personal. They had the item that I needed and were able to help me immediately. The price was cheaper than other places but the quality was amazing. Overall a truly wonderful store with amazing employees! read more

This is such a pleasant little place as it's nicely maintained and X-mas decorations were everywhere. The place felt like a department store in vibe and color. Right when you walk in there is staff walking around and behind the cash registers ready to help you. I found that this location has great friendly and knowledgeable staff that are eager to help you get in and out of the place. Will be back. read more

I love this place. Yes, sometimes I go to Home Depot or Lowe's, but when I need help, advice, or a particular item, Paul's is where you'll find me. Prices are reasonable, but it's the service that sets it apart from the competition. read more

Great service all around. I purchased a Traeger smoker grill for my son-in-law's birthday at the ACE on Via Linda for delivery in Mesa. Ronna and Raj coordinated the logistics for delivery. Everything went like clockwork!! Thank you so much. read more

Went to Ace hoping they could color match off of a paint chip I brought in. Well the chip I brought in was way too small and would not work with their spectrometer. So the worker (wish I got his name) spent probably an hour helping me by making up samples and seeing how close we could match it. By the end he found a perfect match from another brand of paint that matched exactly. When I got home I used it for touch up paint and you could not tell the difference once it dried. I was extremely impressed with the person who helped me for his patience and persistence to get the color match spot on. read more

If you want help buying anything for your home. I highly recommend Paul's. It's been around for decades and although it's smaller then the HUGE BOX stores, they have a great selection of goods at good prices and they spend time to help you make a choice and educate you on how to install or set up whatever you need. Great place, and really nice people. read more

Visited this store and had to wait 10-15 minutes for a sales person. This was not a big deal since I was planning on buy a stihl product which retails around $650. So I wanted someone that knew there product. Final a spike haired lady approached me I can see her coming since nobody else is in the store. She is yelling "what do you need how can I help you". She is literally yelling from one end of an aisle to me. I just wait since I don't see any reason to scream back towards her. When she gets to me she again repeats what do you need, how can I help you. I tell her what products I'm interested in and she basically just reads me the information on the tag. I'm fine with that since I did my research on the internet. When I ask her if they have another one in a box since this one looked used with dirt and scratch over the entire product. She turns and says nope that's it you can buy that one or go somewhere else. So I'm giving this review a one star the customer service would have been better at a trailer park complete uneducated employee. With no manners or costumer service skills. read more

I love this store. Went in to get all my Meyers supplies and more for gifts and the two guys were not wearing their mask!!! I don't like wearing it either but it's too early to stop. We have come too far to quit now. I will shove elsewhere or order online. Sorry boys. read more

I went to the store after breaking my glasses. I didn't have an extra pair so I was desperate. Jenny, the floor manager, was extremely helpful and kind. She helped me find a plastic bonding agent and took a lot of time with me. Unfortunately, the glue didn't work. However, I found Jenny and she's a keeper! read more

Jared was a big help to me as it was right in the middle of the virus pandemic and I didn't want to go inside but I couldn't get the part online to do curbside so Jared was nice enough to just let me call and he'd come out and take care of the payment and everything. Just very nice and much appreciated!! read more

Their prices are so high. What a rip off. It's ok to buy an item here and there in emergency purposes otherwise Home Depot and Lowe's are the places to go to. read more

The customer service provided by the complete staff was overwhelmingly positive! They all dedicated an incredible amount of time to remedy an issue I was having + I can't sing their praises enough. They worked diligently together to complete the task + ensured I was completely taken care of before I left. It's rare to find this level of customer service! Thank you Ace team! Your kindness won't be forgotten! read more

I had delivery of items to my home and the delivery person did NOT wear a mask and came right up to my door to talk assembly. I would make sure if you are high risk or that you are someone who actually understands we are in a pandemic and many people are suffering long term health issues or dying from Covid that you tell them in advance they should be delivering with a mask on. They won't have my business ever again and I want the community to know they are not up to the standards of delivery and don't seem to care about their customers lives. read more

So disappointed with this Ace Hardware. I'm not sure why Holly a cashier at Ace still has her job she has the worst customer service skills that I've ever seen. She's rude disrespectful unfriendly and a mean bully. Holly told me that an advertised price was not really the price the price was what she charged and she ripped the advertisement down and stormed off to huff and puff. I was able to speak to a manager who apologized and corrected Holly's mistake and because the manager acted the way I'm use to Ace hardware employees acting I purchased some other things while in the store. I did not see anyone correct Holly's behavior or say anything to her about her action so that was disappointing. I have to say that I will not continually to give business to Ace with those type of employees. Home Depot is close by and the employees there are always helpful, friendly and personable. read more

Have you ever hired a hardware CONSULTANT? No, of course not, shopping for stuff at your local hardware store is a do-it-yourself deal. Not at Paul's. Hardware consultants are incorporated in your purchase. No extra charge. At Paul's you not only will find indispensable items you simply will not find at ordinary hardware stores - they should rename thts place "Paul's Ace EVERYware" - but also, at no additional charge, you'll enjoy the services of staff that perform as if they own the place themselves. I've had the pleasure of working with staff over a period of several days to obtain and retrofit a particularly challenging "hardware malfunction". They were as committed to achieving a solution as I was! And in the meanwhile, I had the opportunity to explore nooks & crannies of the store, discovering both items I really needed that I had not found elsewhere, AND that staff were positively encyclopedic in their knowledge of what I might locate, and where I would locate it, among their aisles. Yeah, you need to get your stuff here. Because you'll get more than just your stuff. read more

I recently moved to the area and needed a few things for my new house. I've always loved shopping at Ace Hardware because of the service so I was happy to find this one so close to home. I was disappointed in what I found. Kurt was rude and unhelpful. He just pointed in a direction and sounded grumpy. It was hard to find another employee on the sales floor. I found a lady ( didn't see name, Ohio shirt) who was putting price tags on the shelf. She stopped what she was doing to help me find all the items on my list. The register line was long, but Andrew was very nice and upbeat. I'll be back in and hopefully they will get more help on the sales floor. read more

This is a great store. Jenny, their Stihl specialist, has gone above and beyond for me. She is extremely knowledgeable and it is obvious she puts customer experience on the top of her priority list. This will be my go to store moving forward. read more

ACE is awesome, they have everything I need for small projects around the house... And I ran into Dennis Farina at this one....

Ace is always more expensive than other places, but the folks there sure are helpful and know what they are talking about.

Jared the manager was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help us find a cleaner to remove sunscreen from our leather car seat. I would definitely recommend this store to anybody who needs anything Hardware related read more

The female employees are amazingly helpful. The male employees, however, ignore female customers (as they also do in big box stores). Although a few things I needed were not carried by Ace, the young lady helping us told us several plumbing supply vendors to try instead. Overall, a good experience but only due to Amanda being so customer-oriented! When I go back, I will ask for her. The men apparently think an older woman with her 20-something daughter are INVISIBLE. read more

This is a great store and I highly recommend. I had gone to Lowe's and Home Depot to find certain size screws with washers and of course they didn't have so found this place. The customer service was outstanding, store was very clean and organized. This will be my go to hardware store. read more

Yesterday I had a pump go out in a small pond I have in my back yard. The owner of the house I lease replaced it about 6 months ago and on a whim I took it in to see if it was still under warranty. The people were friendly and very helpful and gladly swapped it out without the usual guilt from other hardware stores. I have always been a Home Depot guy but this experience has made me change my mind. read more

Fantastic Whole-House Screen Installation Got several estimates from firms that specialize in screen installs for our entire house, and decided to try this Ace as well since they had done a nice efficient job on a minor screen job in the past. They were the only ones who didn't bat an eye about doing everything we needed, including 2 problematic completely new swing-out screen doors. Their competition made us feel like those doors were a major opus; with Ace it was all "no problem". Great communication from manager Kelli from the gitgo. All personnel, starting with main guy (Drew), were very courteous, careful, professional and efficient even tho' it took sdditional time in the mid-summer scorching heat to do the job to perfection. Despite some delays NOT DUE TO ACE but because their supplier dropped the ball, Kelli and the crew bent over backward to be sure that all materials and installation would be first quality and that we were kept informed about everything--they didn't try to cut any corners. And all of this at a straightforward, competitive (actually, BETTER) cost compared to the competition. We'd use them again in a heartbeat. read more

Love this place. Easy to find whatever you need for the quick pick up and go. Nice people.

The store manager, Kellie, can be very warm and helpful or she can be blustery, cold and impatient...since I never know what mood Kellie will be in I've stopped shopping there. read more
