I called about an item I really wanted. I spoke with Jen Robison on the phone and was so helpful to me staying on the phone with me to give me the info needed. I went online and placed an order for pickup only to find I wanted more items. I truly love this store and the help is so great here. Once I was ready to pay I get to meet Jen as she was helping at the busy register. She not only loaded my car for me! I asked if she could remove the boxes from the items so save on trunk space. She did so and we managed to get my entire purchase in my car. This is why I love this store so much! Great customer service! Clean and well organized! What girl doesn't love an At Home shopping trip?! However, I would've given this review a 3 if it hadn't been for a lovely employee named Alorea.. I was trying get a specific couch that was on display but I couldn't find it anywhere in a box to purchase! I went up to the front to get some help from an employee because they'd probably know but the 1st lady they sent was very mean, said they didn't have any in stock and I couldn't purchase the display (even tho it was slightly dirty anyways), and basically just started to walk away & say try online. Soooo I went online & it said this store had it, went back up to the front where luckily Alorea followed me to the back and helped me find what was in stock! She also informed me that the manager encourages them to sell the displays IF there is NONE left inventory.. Anyways, if it weren't for Alorea's friendly attitude & customer service this review would've been a lot different.. I didn't catch the name of the rude employee but I heard she works in the pillow department, maybe she just needed a nap cause she woke up on the wrong side of the bed that day! read more

Would a couple of old ladies perpetrate ottoman fraud? According to At Home, possibly yes. Buying the ottoman was a chore because the floor worker rang up the wrong item and in general, took a long, long time. Very confusing process. She said she would email us when the item was ready to be picked up the next day and all we needed was the phone number to get it. Wrong! We received no email but my spouse went to pick it up anyhow. The guy was quite rude to her and quizzed her in detail. He insisted that she call me, the credit card holder, to verify that this ottoman should be released to her custody. If you want to be sure that thieves do not steal your merchandise by figuring out your address, your phone number, exactly what you bought, exactly what day to pick it up, you can safely buy here. They will not let your merchandise go without an interrogation! read more

My sister has been looking for outside furniture for a while now. I'm visiting from Charlotte and last time I was here this store wasn't around. It was nice to be able to shop somewhere new. The selection here is amazing. Prices are pretty decent. Lots of cute things to buy here! I wish I was closer because I would have bought a lot more stuff. We were just on the hunt for an outside table. Nothing big. Something good for 2 people. Enough room to put drinks and maybe some snacks on it. We ended up finding something then walking around the rest of the store. It was very clean and tidy. Restaurants were clean and well stocked. The only issue with this experience was the wait in line. There was only one cashier ringing up the customers. We were in line for 40 minutes. That's ridiculous. It wasn't until that 40 minutes that they opened up 2 other lanes. The line just kept growing. One lane is not appropriate. We almost left the table and walked out. She really wanted it so I decided to wait. I would have been happy to give 5 stars but that wait was something that could have been controlled better by management. read more

I thought this store was pretty junky and expensive for the quality of the stuff. Lots of the furniture was damaged. I found a few decor items that I thought were overpriced but bought them anyway. When I got home and removed the sticker prices, they actually had covered up lower prices and were charging MORE than the original price ‍ read more

I thought this place was decent. They have some high quality furniture and interior items which is difficult to find in most home stores. The selection is also expansive. I was mostly attracted to the kitchen wear and the prices were a fair amount cheaper than some other large stores. read more

Wow. This location has definitely earned their 2.5 star rating. I ordered an area rug online for in store pick up, and sent my boyfriend out to get it. The rug color was supposed to be black but looked much more light grey - I guess At Home can't be blamed for that - but it was the wrong size! I ordered an 8' x 10' area rug and received only a 5' x 7'. So obviously we opted to return it. Again I sent my boyfriend to make the return and he went through so much hassle including having me forward three separate emails regarding the order because the cashier couldn't find it, only to be told he couldn't complete the return because he didn't have my card present. No ID or card was required to pick up the order, but returning required numerous forms of proof. So a third trip to this store was required so I could present my card and complete the return. While there, we looked around at alternative rugs and actually found one we liked! So we bought it and have been enjoying it for a few days. Today, our cat flipped up the edge of this new rug revealing the product tag, which I noticed lists the price at $139. We were charged $197! So we were first charged for a rug almost twice the size of what we actually received and now we've been charged $60 over the listed price on the product itself. I can't tell if it's incompetence or shady business practices, but we will never shop here again. read more

I had an issue with a chair assembly today and Tom the store manager went above and beyond to help me resolve the issue. He walked me through the steps over the phone and was very patient, when we realized the chair assembly took more than one person, I had come back to the store when he and 3 other associates worked together to assemble the chair for me. I was blown away but his kind and helpful servicing. I would highly recommend the Scottsdale and Raintree At Home location because of Tom. In addition to Tom being so helpful, Patty at the registers also tried to help me and genuinely cared about getting me serviced and leaving happy. She had such a wonderful attitude and I felt so welcomed. This team truly blew me away with their efforts today. read more

I will NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!!! and I will tell all my friends how crappy I was treated at the SCOTTSDALE store. Never Ever!!!. I ordered some Christmas items that were delivered broken, I thought I had 60 days to return them. and They said they would not take them back because it was past Christmas. I had tried to have them picked up in December but when I tried to have them returned, the return code would only say one return when I was really returning 2. Then I hurt my knee and could not walk and then our family went through a bout of covid. I finally can walk with a cane and better from covid so I wanted to get these stupid candles back that were broken and they told me to throw them away because they wont accept returns because it was Christmas even though it was within the 60 days. I find the quality of items to be cheap. There is a big selection but not made well. I purchased several items & decided to return based on the quality. I took the wrapping off a lamp shade and it was damaged. Couldn't see that with the wrapper on. They wouldn't take it back. Too many other choices to find home items. Watch out on returns. At Home has very poor customer service. I bought 2 lamps. One worked. One didn't. I went to return the defective one, and they didn't have any more. Two people refused to call another store to find it as it was "company policy" to not call. Now I have to go home and get the working lamp and return it to since there's no pair. 3 trips to the store and no lamps. Oh and I used a birthday coupon which they could not issue a new one. I decided to get a new tree last year after a couple of weeks of looking I decided to go ahead and spend a little more money on a better tree. So I bought one for $280 from At Home, when we set it up a few days later some of the lights were not working but we weren't feeling well turns out we had Covid so I kept the tree! Added lights that we used outside in previous years. My dad died the second week of January just after we all got over Covid the tree was unplugged I went out of town and when I came back it took all I had to take the decorations off the tree. I didn't think about the stupid lights, this year I got the tree out more than 3/4 of the lights don't work. At Home directed me to the manufacture who said they will send me a bag of lights it takes about 10-15 days for the process. Meanwhile I'm getting ready for my mother's funeral and have already spent 2 hours replacing bulbs and fuses! I'm going to just put outside lights on it again so my kids have a stupid Christmas tree!! I highly recommend buying the $90 tree from Walmart it lasts more than a day! And Walmart backs their products! And yes I get the tree is a year old and I should have returned it last year when I put it up and the lights didn't work but I figured with Covid the best thing to do would be to deal with it for the season so we didn't spread the Covid to the At Home employees or customers. Lesson learned! So, again I would pick a different store and manufacture 100%! read more

This store is the size of two giant warehouses combined and I have never seen more than 2 employees working at the same time. Terrible customer service. The last time I was there the line was at least 20 people long and there was only one girl ringing people up at the registers. Being new to Arizona, and recently purchasing a new home in Scottsdale, led me to the fortunate discovery of At Home, a treasure trove for much needed home goods to fill my empty home. As I expected frequent visits and large purchases at my new found discovery, I took out an At Home credit card. After 3 - 4 visits to stock up @ At Home, I was awarded reward dollars to spend. On Saturday we made an unexpected visit, purely spontaneous being we were in the neighborhood and a good opportunity to take advantage of the rewards I had earned in the store over the past couple of months. Unfortunately, this visit will be my last At Home trip. As other stores are bending over backwards to ensure good experience to keep loyal customers, there is no room or excuse for At Home policies that simply hold no value except to frustrate customers and push them to other stores to spend their hard earned dollars. I picked up ~ $30 worth of product, with $15 reward money - ~$15 remaining balance. The clerk, ran the rewards and tried to apply credit card #1 for the remaining, then debit card #2, neither were accepted for payment. I then offered to pay cash for the remaining - but that too was not allowed. As confused as I was the clerk called her manager and asked why the system would not take the payment. She indicated I had to use the At Home credit card for the remaining balance of $15. As this was a spontaneous trip, I did not have the card. I then asked if they could look it up - they asked if it was within 14 days of me applying for the card, as it was not, they indicated their policy would not allow them to look up my card. So stalemate - they are telling me I must use my At Home credit card, and yet they will not help me by looking it up to allow for its use. Granted this may seem like a small impact to some, but having visited Target, Macy's, Penneys earlier in the day and witnessing them bending over backwards to ensure I was serviced and satisfied , above and beyond expectations - I can not justify remaining a customer of At Home, where they are willing to lose my business and my recommendations to others for a mere $15 paid for by cash vs their credit card, and unwilling to take the 5 minutes of time to looks up my credit card from my driver's license. Life is too short. The happy ending here, I found the exact same products I planned to buy at At Home at both Target and Walmart, and all products were cheaper and will be delivered the very next day direct to my home with no shipping costs. Now that is customer service, and why At Home has lost me as a customer and why I'll continue to reward good policies and exceptional customer service. read more
