Mexicana Rose has outdoor decor for the garden and home. Staff are helpful. I don't believe I have seen chimineas at other similar businesses so that makes it unique. Large pots both decorative and useable for the garden. Large metal sculptures perfect for outdoor wear and tear. They have their own parking lot, read more

A great place to shop for unique pieces. It is much like Retalbo just smaller. Pleasant to browse, but like others who have given Mexicana Rose 1 star reviews, employees do not have good customer service skills and/or training. I've purchased and will keep returning to seek more unique items. But, if you're wanting friendly or gracious employees, purchase elsewhere. Happy to give the second star for inventory, but not comfortable giving the additional third star due to the poor CX. read more

I'm a little obsessed with this store! I bought the most beautiful light up onyx vase here and some gorgeous flowers for it. Their items are really unique and beautiful. The store is small, but I loved the selection. I actually had a hard time picking just one item. I'm sure I'll be back for more. Tons of lamps, small tables, stone items, fabric flowers and of course the light up onyx pieces. The owner is really sweet and lovely too. Definitely worth checking out. I can't wait to go back! read more

OMG!! This store has the most amazing home decor. The artificial flower stems, bunches of hang-over-the pot edge ground covers, & balls of succulents are beautiful. I think the biggest attraction in this store is all the Mexican onyx items, table top lamps to floor lamps. Many, many items to look at. I shopped for an hour & a half & love all my purchases. P.S. : Prescott people you need to go here! read more

Mexicana Rose - Amazing Mexican decor!! - Furniture Stores Near Me - Cave Creek, Arizona

I've been there three times now since I made my order and paid for it but they've been closed and they don't answer the phone. I'm getting concerned. read more

This store has a lot of great pieces in it and something for everyone. Everything is well priced, yes there are some expensive items here, but that is what you pay for good quality. Carmen has been the best to work with. Well worth your time to visit if you are decorating your home inside and out. read more

Over pretentious, pompous & condescending woman behind the checkout. Had the audacity & intransigency to tell someone who is paying that she was going to cancel the purchase, in other words "get out"!! Have a cellphone video if someone wants proof. My honest opinion AVOID this store & let them learn the virtues of being a US business vs. a backstreet store in Mexico.. read more

We thought the store looked very high end & that we wouldn't be able to afford the prices but decided to go in anyway. Let me tell you her prices are very reasonable and the pieces are one of a kind and gorgeous. I bought a lot of amazing pieces for my new home and plan to go back to get more things very soon. I love love love the store and their excellent prices! read more

Great experience. We bought 7 pieces of furniture from Mexicana Rose and we are extremely happy. We also interacted with Carmen, the owner, and we felt she was professional and courteous. Prices are reasonable. Thank you! read more

I literally have no idea what some of these reviews are talking about. And quite honestly, extremely bigoted and flat out mean. The store was great. Customer service could have been better but the prices were unbeatable. There was thought behind each item in the store and stunning pieces that were really different. It was lovely. read more

Been buying items from Mexicana Rose and Carmine for 7 years. Just be aware, if you buy something and you decide you dont like it for some reason, they will not take it back..no store credit or anything...I felt like a criminal and it was a birthday gift for my wife..nothing on special, not a 1 time item on clearance..just a regular item. No warning on the receipt or prior to the sale telling me that I cant return the item if she does not like it. THIS is not the way to do business. I would have accepted a store credit. Be aware..plenty of other stores in town and I will not be going back to MR again. read more

Mexicana Rose - Do not waste your time. Rude owner and overpriced!!! - Furniture Stores Near Me - Cave Creek, Arizona

PLEASE ! Do not waste your time at this place. I saw a colorful ceramic roaster in front as I drove by the shop. I stopped to inquired about about the roaster and have never in my life been so encountered by both the store owners with so much rudeness. I brought to the gentleman's attention I'm really interested and that the lady was a bit rude, and discovered it was his wife, Wow, he was even more disappointing than she. Don't waste your time and money. It's obvious they hate tourist, there source of income. Denny H. read more

I don't post often but felt I should after reading the negative comments about the bad experience with the management. I've been going here for the past three years and have always been met with friendly and helpful service. I'm not an expert on pottery but can say I am extremely satisfied with my purchases and feel they were well priced. Those who had a bad experience should try them again. Wonderful friendly folks there! read more

Like other Yelp reviewers, we also entered the store, spent ten minutes looking around, and never saw a single employee. Some of the merchandise was unique, but some was overpriced. For instance, we saw a piece marked $130 and we saw the exact same piece at another store a couple of blocks away for $87. read more

Terrible experience with the sales at this store! I got there and no one was in the store to help it was literally empty and there was another lady trying to purchase something too with out a single sole to help! It was a Saturday morning at 10AM and NO ONE!!! We could have walked out with the store and no body would have known! Thank goodness for honest people. I finally found an elderly man in the rear of the store and he helped me with some stuff but couldn't check me out with my purchase. He said the lady that worked there went to the bank and would be back soon!! REALLY?? who does that?? Finally after almost leaving I saw her. She barely apologized for not being there and then she got my lamp. She took the bulb out of the lamp and I asked why? She said they always remove the light bulb! After all the time I waited for her she should have thrown in the bulb!! Unbelievable and so unfriendly smug!! I will NEVER shop there again. read more

This place is a great store and have very high end merchandise at great prices. The owner waited on us and was very helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend this place every tim you go to Cave Creek. read more

Too bad zero stars isn't an option. I don't typically write bad review but when the owner practically kicks you out for not being a "customer" is just wrong. Little did he know I was about to buy at least $100 in decor there. He said we were "in the way" of people actually wanting to shop. Big family equals more money.... Everyone business owner should know that. read more

These people are crazy. I just attempted to purchase a piece of art. The painting has been hanging in a dark corner of the store for at least 3 months. You would think they might have wanted to sell it! Apparently not. I made one simple request - to see the painting in a better lit area of the store before I handed them $400 dollars before taxes. I was literally stunned when the owner rudely refused to simply move the painting to the register area before I made the purchase. Hey "Mexican Rose", give me 2 weeks and 10lbs of sugar cubes and I can teach a chimpanzee better customer service skills than yours. read more

Our daughter took us to Cave Creek for the day, and Mexicana Rose was the BEST find of the place! If you've shopped for Mexican made items anywhere in the Southwest, you will immediately see that the prices are reasonable here. What I love is that they have LOTS of distinct and unique, quality decor, furniture, and household items that you won't find anywhere else. When we were there this shop was crazy-busy! We had to wait in line a long while, and I was told they didn't wrap items up when I got to the counter. That was a surprise that the owners should advise shoppers in advance, such as a notification at the storefront so people are prepared when they enter the store. Based upon the high activity in this store, and the reasonable prices if they wrapped everyone's stuff, the prices would certainly increase, because they'd have to hire someone full-time as a wrapper, and also buy high volumes of bubble wrap. (I just had to purchase several rolls of bubble wrap, and it is expensive.) The owners of this shop are considerate, friendly, and busy as hell all day long. I was frustrated with the wait, but thrilled that I found a perfect piece for my home at a reasonable price! Isn't that what we want when we shop? I had to go back again later in the day and shop some more. I LOVE the huge selections in Mexicana Rose, and the reasonable prices. (BTW: The owner DID end up wrapping my piece for me, but maybe because it was large, heavy, and very fragile - a piece of Talavera pottery.) read more

We love this store! Rustic, Southwest, cowboy furnishings from Mexico. Great selection with several rooms full of great furnishings. Unusual, unique, often with reclaimed woods that are gorgeous! Great outdoor handmade pieces as well. The owners are so friendly and the customer service is stellar! They provide free delivery & make sure all wood pieces are waxed at the store before arriving at your home. Highly recommend this beautiful store, run by a wonderful family. The prices are surprisingly reasonable and sometimes astonishingly low! A must see if you are shopping for unusual and interesting furnishings for your indoor or outdoor home ! read more

My neighbor here in Victory at Verrado told me to come here. After looking at many stores in Cave Creek Road I finally came here. Mexicana Rose not only has the best selection of fine quality art etc....the owner, Carmen, is a delight and the prices are phenomenal......great quality and extremely reasonable prices. They are getting more product in 2 weeks and I will definitely return. Please do not buy anything in Cave Creek until you check out Mexicana Rose!!! read more

On two separate occasions I drove quite a distance to arrive at the store well before it closed to buy some items for our home. Both times I arrived to find the store closed with at least 30 minutes to spare before closing, with no note of apology on the door, etc. Apparently, business must be so good that the arrogant owner thinks she can close up shop whenever she pleases. I'm sorry, but good customer service never goes out of style. read more

First let me say I am a customer and this is not a fake post. My experience with everyone I dealt with at Mexicana Rose was FANTASTIC ! I looked at several items in the store over the course of an hour and was ALWAYS treated with respect and helpfulness by management and the sales staff This store has a great selection of unique and reasonably priced items. I did not make a purchase but will DEFINITELY be going back in the future. I highly recommend you check out their merchandise, it's incredible. read more

As we glance around our Arizona home we see lovely " one of a kind " finds from Mexicans Rose. First off I'd like to say I truly really do like the owner. I also agree the prices are very fair. When I bought my home a year and a half ago I started purchasing things from Mexicana Rose. Never once have I returned anything. I literally have bought thousands of dollars from their store. Today I went to Cave Creek to return an onyx wine holder, that I purchased from Mexicana Rose. The reason for my return it did not fit in the area where I would like it. I wanted to return it and actually purchase a more expensive Onyx wine holder. I walked in and I talked to the owner , and asked her this favor. She said absolutely not. She said Onyx cannot be returned. She also then stated it says this on the bottom of my receipt. She is correct. The thing is after buying thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from her she could have returned this $160 item, and I would have purchased a $230 item. The sad thing is I will never shop here again. read more

Went in there yesterday to pick up some wall candle holders I had ordered, after I looked at them I noticed they were all chipped up, I brought it to her attention and she so rudely said well if you don't want chips in them maybe it isn't for you, so I said you are exactly right and I will take my business elsewhere!!! She is sooooo RUDE!!! Plenty of other fun shops with nice people working there to shop at in Cave Creek!! read more

Last weekend we saw a huge chiminea at this store with a price tag on it of $850 and next to it a 30% off sale sign. We went inside and asked if the sale price applied to it and were told it did. We asked about delivery to Tucson and were told none was available. The next day we returned and one of the employees helped us measure it and our SUV to see if we could transport it ourselves. It was too large. Back in Tucson I called them a day later and I was given the name of a delivery service they use. It was extremely expensive and we then put a bid on UShip.com. We then contracted for a delivery and called Mexicana Rose to arrange a pick up time and make the purchase by credit card. We were rudely told it was not for sale, it was a one of a kind antique and irreplaceable and would cost $1500.00 to transport. STAY AWAY, THESE FOLKS ARE CRAZY!!!! read more

The lady that is in the store doesn't give a dam about getting your business. I drove over 1500 miles and found this store. Some very beautiful items in the store. My brother who lives in the area told me hey lets go here as they have cool stuff. We both wanted to buy an item however we decided to check out other stores first. We came back and she was closing the doors said we can come back tomorrow from 9 to 5. It is an hour and a half drive from my brothers house. But the next day we went to buy the items we saw hanging on the walls. She stated that she doesn't have them in stock. I said what about the items on the wall I'm from out of town and my brother wants the other one. She said. "I don't sell displays that I have on wall they have to be in stock and won't be in till July then turned and walked away from us. My brother now says he will never walk into that store again and was going to buy more things for his home. Between the two of us she would have had over a $500 dollar sale from us. She is extremely arrogant and rude!!!! I drove from Tennessee to visit my brother in Phoenix. Never met any business owner that was as rude as her read more

I'm been shopping at Mexicana Rose since it opened in Cave Creek. They carry reasonably-priced quality merchandise, and the owner is so friendly. When driving thru Cave Creek, I usually drive thru the parking lot to see if a new shipment has arrived and enjoy checking out new items. It's a fun place to shop, and I highly recommend stopping in.
