We went in looking for small gifts for group of friends. Found some sweet desert candles. At checkout, I simply mentioned to my spouse that we would need to locate some small Christmas bags for the gifts. The cashier then offered to tissue wrap each one and put into separate little Big Bronco bags, with one sheet of Christmas tissue paper in each bag and tied with colorful ribbons. It was unbelievable to us that she offered to do this and due to our upcoming super busy schedule, it saved us so much time and meant so much! We've always loved Big Bronco but this experience was over the top! They obviously care about their customers and made us a customer for life! read more

What a find! We were referred to the Thrift Store...which is directly across from Big Bronco...but all we saw at the Thrift shop was not at all what we wanted...and then we spotted Big Bronco! The outside is fun, funky, definitely southwestern so we HAD to check it out. What took me so long to visit this store ?? Big Bronco features some of the most exquisite and beautiful southwestern home decor stores I have ever been to ! Looking for pillows ? Check! They have them ! Dining room tables, rugs, beds... wow! The staff working there is welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The prices may be a little high, however I'm very happy with the accessories that I purchased today considering everything and they fit perfectly in my living room! read more

The Big Bronco in Cave Creek used to be one of my absolute favorite stores, a place where I always took friends and family when they came into town. But I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed with the new ownership. I will say they are very friendly and welcoming when you come into the store, but the prices have definitely gone up. One such example would be the glass hearts that I previously bought, many of them actually, for nine dollars but when I visited the store today I noticed the price has been marked up to $22. I understand the increased cost, of pretty much everything, but the overall increase in this entire store is disappointing to me. Mainly because I felt the previous owners really seemed to be conscientious about making it a fun, affordable place to shop. I will likely continue to shop there, but admit it will not be my first 'go to' for gifts anymore. That makes me sad. read more

The staff/owners here make you instantly feel welcome upon entering. No pushy, vetting inquiries to sum up your buying power whatsoever. This shop is twofold: a wonderful gift shop with nice, not tacky, items that serve as tasteful souvenirs or items for your own home such as beautiful glycerin soaps that smell as good as they look, handmade coffee mugs featuring coyotes, jewelry, classic quality children's items and stonewashed t-shirts that are worthy of proud gifting. The other and main fold of this shop is comprised of beautiful home decor items for floor, wall, ceiling and light, all in traditional southwest style featuring layered, natural, textures and rich color, all artfully arranged. There is obviously a professional decorator on staff, although I did not inquire. I purchased windchimes for my own home and a small plush steer for my memory-challenged, elderly father I am soon to visit back east. read more

Attached to Big Bronco so it is basically the same place. The only difference is that one side has clothing and home goods while the other has furniture. The furniture is really nice western decor, obviously. They offer some reasonable prices to what I've seen for similar items. Overall they have some very nice stuff. read more

This store has wonderful furniture and gift items, however the people that work there are terribly rude! They do not smile, or say hello or even pretend they are glad you came in. They do not attempt to help and when you ask a question they speak to you like they are put out that you asked them for assistance. I love the merchandise, but will not go back due to the awful customer service they have. The worst part...This includes the lady that owns the place.
