Love the young and modern look of the assortment in this newly opened CB2 store! The sales representatives were friendly and very willing to help with the design. I talked to James for a bit and he gave me a lot of good suggestions on dining tables and chairs. He was willing to move the sample furniture around to help me visualize how different pieces would look together. Really appreciate all the extra work moving things around. Fasten your seatbelts and grab hold of your patience. I bought sofa, bed and center table on. April 22. They assured me delivery June 5, then an email saying June 19. Called today and they said maybe beginning of July. Customer service people are useless and not willing to help. This was a $14K buy. This is not the first time they do this to me. Last year it took almost a year to get a lamp! Let's see if I remember next time not to buy from them!!! read more

Picking up online orders at the scottsdale location takes forever, better to order from Crate & Barrell or Pottery Barn when able. Very slow to process, when calling to check status, they place you on hold. Management needs to up their turn around time. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Their customer service is horrible! Alfred (state manager) was rude and did not help me, only make the situation worse by being as rude as possible. I spent thousands of dollars there when "they couldn't find my items because the warehouse was too disorganized", next they had me go to the warehouse AGAIN for something else I bought and they had the wrong items for me and I had to reject it, finally they delivered a load and they "forgot the materials to put it together". If that wasn't bad enough, the packages came damaged and I had to refuse all the items. This store is dysfunctional and not worth your time. Shop elsewhere. read more

LOVE the Brand But do NOT shop at this location! I purchased a wooden serving bowl from this location, but after placing four fresh, unbruised apples in it, the inside of the bowl developed a black fungus-like discoloration. Concerned, I returned to the store to request a refund. I was initially assisted by a lovely salesperson who had helped me with my previous purchases. She listened attentively and was equally surprised by the bowl's discoloration. However, the situation changed when the store manager (the same Manager called out in the Aug 1 2024 review) intervened. He abruptly explained that the black discoloration was a natural reaction and to be expected after use. I was shocked by this reasoning and explained that the discoloration resembled fungus, rendering the bowl unsuitable for food or serving. I asked for a return or exchange, but he firmly refused, stating it wasn't possible. When I mentioned that I'd recently furnished my home with items from CB2 and Crate & Barrel, he curtly replied, "It doesn't matter if you purchased a million dollars or one dollar from us; you don't get preferential treatment. This is our policy on returns." His tone was abrupt and dismissive. I wasn't looking for preferential treatment, just a fair resolution for a defective product from a loyal customer. His response was both rude and disappointing. I've been a loyal CB2 and Crate & Barrel customer for years. My wedding registry was from Crate & Barrel, I've furnished and decorated my homes with both these brands, and most of my kitchenware and tabletop items come from them. This was the first time I've ever had such a poor customer experience. Thankfully, I contacted another CB2 location out of state, and their response was a complete contrast. They were professional, kind, and apologetic about my experience with the store manager. They willingly offered to process a return or exchange, though it would have required me to travel out of state. Instead, I reached out to CB2's Customer Service, and once again, they demonstrated the exceptional service I've come to expect from the brand. They apologized for the inconvenience and promptly offered to send me a shipping label so I could return the item to the warehouse for a refund or credit. While the local store's handling of the situation was incredibly disheartening, I'm grateful that CB2's broader team upheld their commitment to customer satisfaction. read more

Online Order Buyers Beware! I had an online order for pickup. I received the pickup email that stated to park behind the store in a designated spot and use the link to say I was there. Waited fifteen minutes for no one to come out with my order. I had to go inside and ask for my order. The lady tells me "You didn't call?" No I didn't call! The email says to tell them you're waiting in a spot through the link. She says "Well there is a phone number on the door". She was right there was a microscopic phone number on the door and no sign saying to call it when you arrive. What a joke. read more

I'm a fan of the brand and I was excited to run into this location. I was not greeted but stared at by staff the entire time I was present in the store. It's not busy in here (more employees than consumers). So when I found a chair I have been eyeballing I had to try it out. Then not one but two Workers appear directly behind me and I still did not receive an intro but totally disregarded. The consumers that waked in and out after me were greeted. I fumbled through a few of the other items I've wishlisted and then the unpleasant death stares started coming in from Workers standing around with tablets in their hands. So I sat at one of the couches near the cash wrap to check in w/ myself and confirm I was not trippin. No one's in line, maybe has 2-3 small groups total but everyone coming in gets the retail welcome (or their weak version of) right over my head. LMAO It's been well over twenty mins now..... Love the merchandise and the younger staff. This is Crate and Barrels younger/more affordable demographic store. You walk in and it feels more chic than it's other competitors in the same category. There is not a lot of furniture here on display in here and I caught myself asking staff if there was a second story. Sadly there's not but every one is armed with IPads. It feels more like a boutique than a store but maybe that's what they see going for. I bought a fig vanilla candle, it smelled great. I'm not thrilled about one or the other but together it's romance for the nose. Sales is friendly and there's definitely some cool style here. Maybe next they can get some more room so you can see more of their merchandise in person. read more

My boyfriend and I came in looking for a sectional. About seven women were standing up front at the register and not one person asked us if we could be helped. They LOOKED at us but not a single word as to whether or not we could be helped. It appears that if you're not an older wealthy-looking couple, and just a young couple, you don't get service. As a follow up to my review of 6/15/2023, many thanks to the two women at the warehouse in Phoenix who helped. They called CB2 corporate and got what I believe is called a return number. Apparently this should have been done at the store in Scottsdale Quarter (saving my husband from having to go into Phoenix) but wasn't. So, thanks to these two women we were emailed a printable Fed Ex label and were able to take the item to a Fed Ex store so that it could be returned. No thanks to the CB2 store at Scottsdale Quarter. read more

I like the unique selection that Cb2 has, the quality is ok, a little under C/B and some of their items are questionable in terms of what they represent. Like a gothic look to them. I prefer Crate & Barrel in general. Also they have a little selection for such a big store. I did find some cute holiday items that were priced great. Love the store and everything inside except for the gentleman with the bow tie and matching mask who interacted with my mother this weekend. He asked us if he could help us find anything and she politely said "no, we're just browsing" and then asked him how business has been during COVID - just trying to make conversation - and his response was "good but most people come in here with a purpose..." Which obviously came off extremely rude. I understand there's a pandemic but we don't have to explain what we're buying, or looking for. And really you should be grateful and respectful for any customer who walks into your store. Such a shame. We won't be back. Management should have a conversation with him and review how customer service works. read more
