When I think of a store that has something for everyone at a good price, I think of HomeGoods. You never know what you'll find on the shelves of the store, on the end-caps, or at the check-out aisle. The employees are helpful, and there is an organized way to check out where there is one line and a whole bunch of registers with a number flashing and announcement being made when the next person in line can be assisted. This is also where returns are made. My wife and I have been there recently as we just got a dog, and they have several aisles of pet supplies from treats to beds to bowls and so much more. I also remember going this past December to stock up on holiday gifts (and they sure had a large selection of wonderful baskets at great prices!). I also remember finding fun gifts for my staff and students before. I know my mother in law and wife enjoy shopping regularly at HomeGoods, and this location is convenient with good service and products. I have also been impressed with the flexibility that the staff have had with their policies from their return policy to how they handle receipts. It is nice to see staff have autonomy to support customers while also still following protocols and processes. That empowerment goes a long way, and it may explain why the staff seem to enjoy working there. HomeGoods is part of the same company as TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Sierra, and HomeSense. It is a part of the TJX Rewards Credit Card program, where you can earn 5% back every time you shop with the card. This was a great HomeGoods store. Everything was neat and in order it was easy to shop. It was easy to find lots of things to bring back to New York. I wish they delivered or shipped because I would've bought a lot more. The customer service was great. The girl the cashier was so friendly and so sweet, incredibly accommodating. In New York, especially anything that's in the five boroughs. In there HomeGoods things are broken thrown on the floor. It looks like a hot mess often! Oh HomeGoods, you make all of my accent pillow dreams come true, every time! We recently moved into a new home that has two sitting areas and rather than get 2 new couches (because we have a messy toddler who covers it in snack time fingerprints anyway) we decided to keep the old one and spruce it up with some new pillows. They had all the color combos and textures that I was looking for and the selection absolutely surpassed my expectations! The quality of their pillows is also super impressive for the price point. I think the most expensive pillow that I bought was $25 and it was huge + SO heavy and nice. Definitely a pillow that would have been at least $80 at a fine furniture shop. In addition, they have great storage ideas, accent furniture/chairs, art, and more. I get lost in redecorating la la land every time! I'll be back soon, I'm sure! :) read more

The people there are friendly and helpful. Two things : if you see something you like but it right away because if you think twice it's gone, things fly out of there quickly because everything is really appealing and the second thing is sometimes the isles are a bit crowded so be careful while walking around. read more

Today we walked into home goods and we were greeted at the door. Jake was one of the greeters up front. We walked past him and he yells out "do you need a mask?" to my gf who had one and was putting hers on. I replied "no, she has one" to which he yells out "they're required." He did not need to yell across the store to try and make a scene. He should of politely come up and asked to which he would of seen she had a mask on. What's even better is the store announcement shortly after mentioned that people should wear a mask unless they have a medical or other condition. So that tells me that even if she didn't have a mask on and it's announced by your store that people can shop there without a mask for a medical reason that Jake was on a power trip and was very unprofessional. I love decorating my house and now that HomeGoods has moved into the old Borders location (sniff sniff), I frequent this store in hopes of snagging an awesome find at an awesome price. While some items might be pricier (like the wrapping paper) than other stores, I happened to find a few pieces of my Kate Spade china pattern at great prices. The merchandise offered at HomeGoods changes frequently, but one can always find accent furniture, lighting, rugs, bedding, wall decor, bath, pet accessories, and kitchen accents. The seasonal decor selection is also something impressive to mention that gives Hobby Lobby a little bit of competition. Checkout has always been a breeze, which during this holiday time is rare, and hopefully it will stay that way after the season is over. I love HomeGoods in general, but was really impressed with this location and how much furniture they carried! I've never seen so many end tables, side table, coffee tables, and dressers at a HG before. The only complaint I had was we were here on 12/28, and the store was busy with Post-Christmas shoppers and all their cashiers seemed to be operating super slow. Unsure if that's the norm or what, but the pace was like a snail, which got annoying after waiting in line for about 15 min. Usually, at a HG, I wait no longer than 5 min and they get me in and out super fast. read more

I just left this store very irritated. The employees are very rude, not helpful, unfriendly. The 3 employees I interacted with acted like they were annoyed to be there and could care less about their jobs. The worst, Stacey (cashier) checked me out, was extremely snobby & rude! I enjoy coming in here every month or so to see what they have that is new. It's like a treasure hunt and I always find something I can't live without. Dishes, utensils, organization items, cute pet supplies, home decor, lamps, furniture...the selection is quite large and I always walk out with something for me and a gift idea for someone else. The prices are fair and every now and then you find some screaming deals on clearance items. The store is large, bright, clean, and the staff is typically friendly. Every now and then you get a clerk at the register who is clearly less than thrilled to be there but it's retail and I get it. I'm in the process of furnishing a new home and although I've purchased items from most of the Marshall's stores in the area, I find the store at Cactus & Tatum, and the staff, particularly Katy, Hanna, Al, Adreen (sp. ?) and the male who was working on April 18th, (I've forgotten his name) but all five (5) of them deserve "kudos" for being efficient, friendly, helpful, courteous, "go out of their way" to help in serving your customers. I've had their help on more than one occasion and they are consistent with my description each and every time. I regret that I have waited this long to give them the praise they deserve.
