Copenhagen makes life better! I absolutely love the quality of their furniture -- the sleek design is so beautiful it makes me smile every time I walk into the room. We've had several Copenhagen pieces for over 15 years, and they still look as good as new. The customer service is truly the best part of the experience: friendly, knowledgeable, and always helpful from start to finish. Well done, Copenhagen! read more

High quality. Expensive but beautiful. Regular offerings are modern but can blend because of simple elegance. Sometimes they have single pieces that are traditional or even lean toward western decor. read more

I've loved Copenhagen and furnished my home with their products almost exclusively for years. After buying a beautiful dining table and server from their Phoenix location, I decided I wanted more simplicity with the chairs than the chairs designed with the set. I happened by the Scottsdale store one weekend afternoon and found the perfect simple, solid black leather high back chairs for the table. After over 15 years of acquiring their products, the black finish is simply peeling off the furniture. It is polished every other week with leather polish- as are the rest of my Copenhagen leather items. These are the only ones disintegrating. I took pictures and brought them to both the Scottsdale and Phoenix stores who stated they weren't their products despite them showing on my account. Sad that I now need to move to smaller boutique establishments to acquire the styles I prefer. Please save your money if you're looking to maintain your furniture for more than a few years. They are still great for home sale staging of course - in a sellers market that is. read more

After deciding I liked a particular stool in the copenhagen store, I was trying to make my way back to make a final decision. I ended up finding out about this place while searching yelp for the copenhagen store operation hours and noticed a clearance center. I'm so glad I did! I wouldn't exactly say that you can get a matching set of just about anything, they have an eclectic selection of mix and match clearance items. I was specifically looking for bar stools at the time, and was able to find some that originally cost upwards of $300+ retail cost, and ended up grabbing them up for just over $100 a piece. The stools I found here were better than the one I was going back to the store to check out! It was great, I was able to stay in my $300 budget and come home with great looking and quality chairs as opposed to "meehhh, whatever" I could get from the local swap meet or craigslist. Im so happy I found you Copenhagen Imports Clearance Center, I will definitely be back if I ever need more furniture! read more

Very happy with my new leather sofa & love seat combo that we got from Copenhagen! Purchased in late November for a new build & they were quite happy to hold them until we had our home complete in Feb. Easy to work with & we love the product - quality is excellent for the price! Recommend them highly read more

Nice furniture! Ask for Vicky, super nice Lady! We're happy with our purchases. We bought bar stools and then 2 weeks later big sale on them and they gave us the sales price. They gave us money back. read more

I stopped here on a whim today looking for a recliner having never visited this store before. I'm very familiar with the Copenhagen brand so I was intrigued to see what the clearance center had to offer. I'm a huge bargain shopper so the idea of getting quality at a discount had me hook, line and sinker! The building itself is MASSIVE but also misleading in the sense that it's not as big as it appears. The showroom is limited to the first floor and who knows what's upstairs-probably employee areas. Don't get me wrong, it's still quite large. There was a vast array of furniture including chairs, tables, couches, bedroom furniture, etc. While I didn't find a recliner I wanted (not surprised, I'm picky) I was so impressed by what was available. Sure, some items look a little used, but most were in very good condition and a great price. My one complaint was the customer service. I was the only person in the store and the 3 employees I saw ignored me and wouldn't even look up from their computers to say hello. It's not a big deal, but at the Copenhagen showrooms elsewhere, all the employees go above and beyond. Customer service aside, I will absolutely return! read more

Quality furniture. Lasts forever many years. Still looks brand new. Extremely friendly staff. I would say they are one of the best. 10/10. The leather sofa and love seat were bought for our condo in Phoenix during late 1980s. Even today they look almost new. I would highly recommend this store to anyone wanting quality furniture. Love the Copenhagen look but on a budget? You might find what you seek at the Copenhagen Clearance Center then. They offer floor models, scratch and dent home furnishings, and discontinued items. Each item has a tag listing why it is up for sale here. We stepped in on a cloudy Saturday and found various coffee tables, dining tables, chairs, sofas, cabinets, dressers, beds, and decorative items (Just to name a few!). Most of the furniture for sale were chairs and dressers though. The quality ranges from your very basic particle board base furniture to an all Travertine stone dining table (Quite nice, but so very heavy!). The dining room sets were heavily discounted an additional % off the price. We also spotted some nice dark wood dining chairs, originally $412, now $99. Service was friendly. They offer bottles of water too while you are browsing through the center, which is a nice little perk. Too bad this clearance center is so far from Tempe, I'd be here a lot for my furniture quest if it were! read more

I like the deals at this place. Be careful though, it's easy to get carried away and soon you might be buying furniture you don't need. Lol. I would be very cautious and research any damage on items, even if they are marked. Sometimes they miss things. Also, on occasion when I buy multiple items they have given me an extra (small one) discount. Also, the delivery fee of $100 makes perfect sense when buying several items, but otherwise I would bring a truck. Inventory changes almost daily so if you love it... don't wait! read more

I have furnished most of my house here. The staff is friendly and helpful and the deals are great. I have attended their annual sales, standing in line for hours but it is best just to check it out on a regular basis. Patience is a virtue here because eventually you will find exactly what you are looking for. Go now and go often. read more

I ordered a recliner this summer it still is not here the worst is the store has not kept me informed nor offered options to order from the local warehouse rather than keep waiting for a recliner that I ordered to help me health wise by elevating my feet I give this store and its staff a 0 in customer service, efficiency My daughter ordered several items same time as me and they were delivered before Thanksgiving Im told the purchase order used for my order is why my order is delayed and it is still sitting in LA harbor Really and I only got this information today because I keep calling about my recliner I have never been treated so poorly by a store, nor worked with one who does not care about my situation and either cannot think outside the box and offer me alternatives or chooses not to Cheryl Smith read more

Copenhagen runs a full-blown outlet next to their warehouse. If you want to go Danish modern / contemporary and save some cash, check it out. The space is big. There's usually a good mix of couches, bookcases, and rugs. The inventory is floor samples or returns. Condition ranges from needs-some-TLC to pristine. In my experience, sofas tend to be in the best shape. A few things: - I'm 99% sure it's closed on Sunday. - I've never seen any of the accessories or higher-end office furniture that they have in the Camelback showroom. - Copenhagen has a minimum delivery charge ($100, I believe). Buy multiple items or bribe a pickup-owning friend with lunch at Pepe's Taco Villa. - It might be hard to find in the Grand Avenue labyrinth of doom. Direct yourself to a point just southwest of the 43rd Ave. Home Depot, and you're in. read more

I'm so glad I found this. The furniture is unique and looks like one of a kind. They carry sofas, chairs, dining sets, dressers, bookcases, pillows, etc. The inventory does move quickly so if you see something you like grab it. Everything we looked at was in pretty good condition. Some stuff may need repair, but with the money you'll save it's worth it. Lastly, feel free to negotiate. My husband is in sales and never pays full price. We left with a love seat, matching chair and pillow and paid considerably less than the ticket price. read more

Oh yeah this place is way cool! Headed over here last week with mom and the sister. The thing that I liked the most was that it's a great mix of overstock and discontinued items with scratch and dent. Each tag is clearly marked with why the item is in the outlet center - so if it was a floor model or return that has a ding, it tells you where to look. This can save you a lot of time if you are dealing with a really large peice. The day I was there, most of the stock consisted of kitchen tables, entertainment sectionals, office furniture, and end tables. In addition to the remarkable woods that we all associate with Copenhagen, there were a number of glass and stone peices which really stood out. The showroom is open from 9 to 6 on Monday through Saturday. The staff was very helpful, but not stalkish. And even though it was packed to the rafters with selections, there was room to manuever around, without that claustrophibic feeling that you can experience in some stores. Although they only had three sofas displayed during our visit, I will definately be stopping by this place often as we were told that stock changes frequently. If you are looking for higher quality furniture at rock bottom prices and are flexible with exacting styles, this is one of the best sources in the valley. Personally, I'm handy enough to deal with a knick here or there on the wood peices, but they lose .5 stars for those people that can't. : ) --- big shout out to Jason W. for unearthing this little delight. I've lived in this area my entire life and had no clue that it was tucked away in there!!! --- read more

If you're going to be grabbing a Copenhagen piece, it is always worth to swing by the clearance center and see if it's avail here. Another tip, since you're bargain shopping anyways, I've seen many of their pieces on Craigslist for Phx and Tucson area.... Coming from the East Valley, I take Grand's Camelback/43rd Ave exit, it looks like I can't take the left onto 43rd (no left sign there), so I always cut into the Home Depot parking lot to get onto 43rd... read more

The air lift stopped working on a barstool that I purchased here. Want to keep this place a secret because it is that good. Been going here for the past 30 years, My house if filled with great buys from the clearance center. Very high quality furniture that lasts and last and always looks beautiful. Since it is a clearance center, you have to be patient and wait for items to appear. Then you have to buy immediately, not the place where you go home to figure it out. The staff is super helpful and always friendly. read more

Located in an industrial area - not very pretty. My husband and I immediately found two leather sofas at an affordable price and couldn't be happier. The poor delivery guys struggled with getting our sofa upstairs but they did it. I would recommend some kind of lift system for the delivery workers to reduce risk of injury. Would buy again from here. read more

I love coming to this Copenhagen location! As a new homeowner the best thing is decorating your place exactly how you want. I have been here several times and the staff is always helpful without being pushy. I have also found that their furniture is reasonably priced even compared to more traditional furniture stores. I have ordered a dinner table with chairs, and a living room set and I get compliments all the time! They have a great selection and if you're into the modern Euro style like me it will be almost impossible to leave empty handed. Their delivery service is top notch too. They have always delivered my stuff early and set everything up quickly. read more

Oh yeah! I am definitely a fan. This is possibly one of the best kept secrets in Phoenix, and I am almost at odds with myself over posting, as I would selfishly like to keep it that way. It's worth the drive to the West Valley, and at first glance a bit hard to find (Behind the Home Depot). There is always a good selection of that famous Copenhagen and DenMarket furniture but it's deeply-discounted saving you big bucks. Some of the items are scratch and dent , others are discontinued items but go prepared to snap up the bargain when you see it. I usually find some really good deals. (Shhh! Just tell your friends you bought it a Copenhagen and leave it at that.) If you are a weekend shopper, beware, the outlet is closed on Sundays. read more

I was expecting great deals, but overall Copenhagen can be pricey. The staff is very friendly, even offering me water! The furniture they have is mostly incomplete. Sectionals without the rest of the couch. One bar stool. There are more desks than anything else, but is probably ideal if you'd like to add to your already existing copenhagen furniture piece, and if they have that addition available. read more

Always find something we "need" at Copenhagen! I am most interested in complimenting the excellent customer service we receive from the Tempe location! Our first fine impressions began years ago with manager, Lars! Our lasting impressions continue with current manager Amy! Recently Amy made arrangements with the warehouse for staff to come to our home for several reasons: 1) after we moved some furniture to find one piece would not fit thru a doorway-- to disassemble, move and reassemble a desk hutch; 2) assemble three bookshelves of differing sizes. Danish furniture is unique and not to be toyed with on your own! Two gentlemen; namely, JR and Bryce came into our home and quite literally built and rebuilt these furniture pieces before us! They were professional, respectful and patient with all of our queries! We are grateful for the exceptional customer service Copenhagen offers! read more

I've been shopping here for many years and had some really good experiences at first. In the past 10 years though, I have had problems with some of their furniture. I bought an Italsofa expecting it to be from Italy. Wrong! It was made in China. I only found this out once I had a problem with one of the cushions slumping badly and had to tear it apart from the bottom to find out what was wrong. That's when I noticed that it was from China. If I had know it was from China, I would not have bought it. Chinese products are a mixed bag; some good, some bad. Why take the chance? A Scandinavian furniture store that sells low quality product is an insult to all of us Danes. Avoid these guys. read more
