The only complaint I have about this store is that I'm not closer to it. I was really surprised when I walked in on the size of the store. It is well organized and very well stocked, even with current seasonal items. Items are discounted from a normal Pottery Barn about 40% and then there are additional discounts or specials on some items as well. Last but not least, customer service has been fantastic, they walk around with you, check on items, give suggestions. So far, this is the best outlet store I have been to in Arizona. The Pottery Barn outlet is located in Goodyear near the 303. This is a fairly new development with a strip mall and apartments just being built. There is a Target and an Ulta nearby. Parking is plentiful in a huge private lot. Upon entering, I was greeted by several friendly customer service reps. The store is kept up well and is clean. The decorations are cute and friendly. There is a special sale sign on a tripod immediately as you enter the store. It is pretty easy to determine the percentage taken off for items in the store because clipboards with laminated sale signs are tacked to every shelf or set on furniture or chairs. There's a lot of product , and most importantly, the product isn't completely beat up and damaged like at some of the other outlet stores I've been to in Chandler and Gilbert. In addition, prices are also not crazy high like they were in some outlet stores in Gilbert and Chandler. Halloween decor was on sale for an additional percentage off and there were a lot of very cute items for kids and adults. The Christmas and holiday items were out and displayed near the front because the holidays are coming up in a few weeks. There were several very nice quality items and all Christmas and holiday items were 40% off. Sales staff continually checked on me and asked if they could help me as I walked through the store. There's just about everything here from kids furniture, diaper bags, and toys, to linens and bedding, bedroom furniture, artificial plants, curtains and curtain rods, dish and glassware, pet beds, shelving, and office and bathroom furniture and mirrors. Plus there are additional new release home decor items that are 40% off or more. I came in looking for office furniture and took some measurements. I will be back because they have some great deals. I was so tempted to splurge on the cute Christmas decorations, but remembered we would not be hosting this year. Way, way overpriced for what you get. Being an outlet version of a retailer, you expect defective, damaged, used, overstock, etc. items; that's a given. But in return the value is normally reflected in a price that is appropriate for the damage, defects and missing parts. However, this outlet waaaaaay overprices these type of items. The inventory is sparce to start with and, across the board from furniture to accessories, everything is priced much, much, much higher than you can purchase the same brand new items for at full service retailers. Did I mention this outlet is overpriced? If not, just know before going everything here is way, way overpriced. read more

I'm obsessed! You really have to be willing to take your time here for the great finds. We got a 10x14 rug, 2 nightstands, a king size bed upholstered with performance oatmeal fabric, a dresser, and a 5' bench. We spent $4000 on items that were over $8000 retail. Most of the items here are returns or former floor samples so there are plenty of things here with damage, but come early and bring a magic eraser. You can rub a dry magic eraser on the upholstered furniture to identify stain vs temporary scuff. The staff is very patient and willing to pull down items so you ca. get a better look. Danny and Anthony were phenomenal and so willing to help us! Tip- most items here all have the retail price tag and are then 40% or more off. Don't just go by the tag, they are all marked off more, just ask a sales person. read more

Turn back, save your Pennies and your sanity. Upon arriving and entering it looks like it is going to br wonderful. Some Great Wall decor, but hot damn so overpriced! There were a few things we already own but purchased at other stores...one being a mirror priced her for 298.00. We found the exact one at a different retail store for 60.00. Most of the furniture was chipped, couches dirty, and a bar stool for $800 no thanks. For great quality possibly, but everything we looked at could've been purchased at Ross, Tuesday Morning, Home Good to name a few for a quarter of the price. I always compare prices to internet and they are listed and red tagged at 40 percent off. No way they mark up, manager is just not like that. I have never been to the Pottery Barn Outlet Store. I was looking on Yelp and saw that it was in Goodyear which wasn't too far away. Oh after I saw that it was time for an adventure! I was on a hunt for a good deal on a Charlie kitchen for our girls. I packed up the tots and we were on our way. This place is huge! We were on our own walking around. I saw they had the refrigerator near the same price I can get online so I passed. They receive items here for many different reasons, over stock, stores closing, clearance items etc. Looking at the furniture some items such as chairs are a bit different in color. That is anywhere. Thats why you always want to buy from the same lot in many things as different lots will have different coloring. I didn't see any merchandise i wasn't able to purchase. You take the tag of the items you want up front and they take care of it from there.. On our way out Bonnie stopped to ask us how we were. I Iet her know we were in the market for a kid's kitchen set but rewlly didn't see much of a price difference from on-line. She let us know they rotate sale items. This week the items we were were looking were 50% off. Being new shopping here I would have never known. Everything is posted on Instagram. You can always call and ask. They do not hold items. It is first come first serve. All purchases are final! I took the tag off the item I wanted and headed to the cashier. The gals there were super friendly. Score! Found the perfect sectional for me. The sectional was slightly soiled but cleaned up easily and was $1000 less than if ordered from Pottery Barn. If you find Pottery Barn expensive, you will probably find the items here expensive. Prices appeared to be 40% off of retail. There were items from most of Pottery Barn's categories. Staff were super helpful. The delivery service they offer were professional and reasonably priced. I purchased the sectional on a Saturday and it was delivered on Monday. For those of you interested in the Clearance Area: This store gives preferential treatment to resellers who purchase skids of merchandise. You will not have access to the entire clearance area during normal business hours. Don't plan on finding any quilts, one-offs, quality items still in the packages as they will have already been purchased by resellers in pre-opening hour appointments. Or those items will be in the "reseller" room (formerly known as the clearance room) and waiting to resellers to first go through the item. And, you will not have access to that room. I like it. It's an outlet so you have to get lucky. We needed a sofa sleeper fast. Regular pottery barn was going to take up to 14 weeks to deliver. We called and went in constantly for weeks and a finally found a sofa sleeper in an acceptable color for half of what we would have paid if we ordered it and waited months. Mattress still in plastic and sofa in good condition. You have to get lucky and keep looking. It's an outlet. Wish we could more easily check inventory. They do have an Instagram which is helpful but more pics and info (current sales) would be helpful as we are An hour away and can't go in that often. read more
