Well, I got what I needed. I had never shopped Conn's before but was in a pinch. Our refrigerator had gone out and I needed something before all of our food spoiled. So, I went to work online looking for a replacement. We did some research and found the refrigerator we wanted. We then proceeded to look for that model. I looked at big box stores, home stores and appliance stores. Well Conn's was the only store that had it in stock and available the same day. That's great! After talking to a rep from this store, I ended up ordering online. That process was easy. I was directed to pick the unit up at their Service and Distribution Center in Avondale. We arrived at almost 11a to locked doors. Online information said that they were open at 10a, so we had to wait. The lady at the front counter acknowledged the discrepancy with no answer as to why. Apparently this was enacted during Covid and hadn't yet returned to normal. Oh well, I'm here to pick up my refrigerator, here's my receipt. She proceeded to tell me that my order hadn't been processed and that I couldn't pick it up until this was taken care of. She said that it could take up to 48 hours. I didn't see anything regarding this when I purchased online. WHAT??? But I'm here now! She did provide me with a phone number to "push the order through." So I did call the number and the issue was resolved in just a few minutes and we were able to proceed with the order. Whew... We were told to pull around and in about 15 minutes the guys rolled the unit out and loaded it up. I guess the biggest issue that I have is disposing of my old refrigerator. If I had waited 3 days for delivery, Conn's would have hauled the old one off. But I didn't have 3 days. I was informed that If I picked the new refrigerator up myself, that they would not dispose of the old one. That is a huge inconvenience. I would have hauled the old one to their recycle center or would have paid to have it picked up. Sadly, there were no options, it is my clearly my problem. I sure wish they would offer some option, any option. In the end, the stock and online ordering was great. For that I am appreciative. The customers service processes could use the most help. But, I will say that everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional. Most importantly, I got my refrigerator the same day. read more

Knew Conn's wasn't for us, but we were had an hour wait for dinner so decided to look around. We are in the market for some furniture. I didn't think anything from Conn's would be for us, but why not look. The sales people greet you when walking in the door and are super friendly. They let you shop on your own. They have a large selection from living rooms, office, bedrooms, appliances and televisions. Nothing spoke to us. They had a couple bedroom sets and a leather sectional that looked decent. Good appliance section. Most living room furniture now a days has terrible back cushions that break down so fast. I notice that at most furniture stores simular to Conn's these days. I remember back in the day my first living room set what purchased downtown at a warehouse. Nothing fancy, but it was built so nice and it was in the same condition after it served it's purpose a few years later. Everything seems to break down and look sloppy after a few months. My mother's best friend purchased a black leather living room set from here and had a great experience and has had no issues. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Literally go anywhere else to shop! The only people I would ever send to the store, people that I really don't like and want to have a bad experience. We had a horrible experience spending $3500 in the store on a sectional and had some major damage done to our home and during the delivery which was not taken care of and Conns says it's not their problem that they use a third-party vendor. So I left a review on Google about my experience, and the quality of the couch and Conns replied to me review and asked me to contact them so they could "make it right" and I did and they refused to do anything for me once again. And yes, it's the same email that they replied to all of these yelp reviews the cons at Zendesk. They just do that to make it look like they care but nothing actually happens. What exactly is the definition of make it right if they haven't done anything to correct the situation I'm not getting any kind of apology from the store or any kind of discount on for the terrible experience. The couch we bought is nowhere near the quality that we were hoping we would get with the amount we paid for it. Our fridge's ice maker has broken twice. The kicker? Their computer shows an employee deleted our extended warranty 20 minutes after our purchase as we furnished our newly built house. We just found this out a year after our initial purchase. Of the 4 pieces of furniture and 1 appliance, only a loveseat still has a warranty. How insane is THAT!!! I've past Conn's on several different occasions but I never stopped to see what Conn's had to offer, that is until my sister decided to buy a new livingroom set and a washer and dryer. We were greeted by Orlando who allowed us the opportunity to look around the store freely without any sales pitches or pressure to purchase. Orlando was very informative and helpful without being intrusive. Conn's offers a wide variety of furniture and appliance however, its priced slightly higher then other furniture stores in the area. Our purchasing experience was pleasant. I wish I could say the same about the delivery expeirence. The delivery service called and advised that our furniture would be delivered on Monday between 9 and noon. We asked for a later delivery time and was advised that there were no other times available. After waiting 30 minutes on hold to speak with a supervisor we were guaranteed that our delivery would be on Tuesday between 2 and 5. Monday night I receive a phone call that my furniture would be delivered between 9 and noon. Once again I have to wait and speak to a supervisor and was advised that my furniture will now have to wait until Wednesday to be delivered. If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a brand new Samsung washer and dryer from Conn's in Feb. of 2019 with 4-year warranty. Never had a problem till this November right a week before Thanksgiving and a week of guests..dryer started screaming and making weird noises.. called for service repair.. 1st repairman had no clue, said the wheels in my dryer needed sanding and lubing (what?!?), he dropped parts on my kitchen floor and after he left, my dryer was still screaming and unusable..then he stalked me for a review that I had already filled out but kept texting me up until 6pm following day. 23rd of Nov 2nd repairman was nice, guessed correctly at who tried to repair it first, took apart my machine told me I needed five new parts, ordered them and told me he'd be back on the 29th of November 2021.. nobody showed, nobody called.. I called and all I received was "I don't know ma'am, I can't help you ma'am, we don't have access to telling you where your parts are ma'am, you're going to have to be patient"... I've called every single day since.. today is December 6th and they told me that I might have to possibly wait ANOTHER WEEK..I'm already at 20 days with no dryer and no access to laundromat and 16 loads of laundry to do.. my patience is gone.. Been buying from them for years, they are very friendly and let you walk around by yourself and keep a healthy distance away from you to be unintrusive, but still within a voice's throw if you need them. My go to guy here is Pepe, I love him. been coming here so often hes watched my son get bigger. He works to make sure you're getting the best deal. Delivery always works out. only thing i dont like about conns is if you dont pay your bill on time they start calling you incessently. We were in a huge bind. we purchased a washer and dryer from Lowes but after they tried and failed to deliver them 5 times, we requested a refund. my husband called Terry at Conns. who was amazing. we explained the situation to him. within an hour, we picked the exact same w/d combo we ordered from lowes and set up delivery. They were scheduled for delivery today. They were delivered and installed on time. The Conns delivery people checked to make sure they worked and left everything clean. In the past 2 weeks my husband and I purchased furniture and a laptop at the store in Goodyear. The staff is friendly and the furniture is great quality. I was told that they had a two-week return policy on the electronics with a 15% restocking fee. When we tried to return the laptop they had so many loopholes that we couldn't return or even exchange it! So be warned that their 14-day return policy is backed up with so much small print that really you can't return anything. So please be cautious when purchasing electronics from Conns. You're better off going to Best buy or any other store that specializes in electronics who will take returns or make exchanges rather than trusting Conn's furniture for this kind of purchase. read more

I went to Conn's furniture to look at their couches. I found a beautiful sectional that I wanted to purchase. I was told by Andre the salesman and Scott the manager that the price for shipping was included in my purchase. I came back the next day to purchase the sectional and was greeted by another salesman (name?) He informed me that the price of the sectional did not include the $149.99 For shipping. I explained the Manager Scott and Andre both told me that shipping was free if I purchased the sectional. Scott came over and confirmed my story but responded by telling me that he made a mistake. He said I had to pay for shipping. I told the salesman that I was not happy and that I was going to call corporate which he then in turn told Me that if I would complain he would not sell me the sectional. I was Furious by then. I had to put a star to write this review I wouldn't of put any star with the purchase I got after all I never get on yelp because I'm always satisfied with all purchases I get from places anyhow as for them I could honestly say I'm very unhappy and unsatisfied with my experience with my purchase and so far it's a headache I went on Sunday to Goodyear Az store 4-14-19 to look at their TVs i got approved for 4,500 So I decided to go forward with my purchase they didn't have anymore Samsung Q8 brand new in the box they try selling me the floor model I told them no I want a new one so they called around and the closes one was in Mesa store #199 they said it was the only one left brand new in the box so I agreed to have it delivered on Monday 4/15/19 I had it delivered to my house they told me delivery was $75 no matter what and it wasn't I paid $80 after the delivery guys set up my TV they had the TV on while they took pictures of it I signed the paper and they left that night when I turned off the TV I then noticed it had scratches all over the TV I called Goodyear Jorge the manager said I signed for it and there's nothing they can do for me so I called the customer service and they stated I had purchased a floor model I said if I was going to buy a floor model why would I have gotten it in Mesa when I was in Goodyear and they had a floor model they kept giving me the run around on not wanting to replace my TV I called Jorge again in Goodyear and he states that I had signed it and my signature is showing me that I had inspected it and it's good well yeah when the TV is on i didn't turn it off until I was ready to go to bed that I noticed it either way I signed for it so that's what I get a brand new Tv delivered in the box with scratches he then told me he talked to the warehouse manager and they said because it was the olny TV in that model that they can't replace it with the same one I said ok I'll get something else equal or more to that he said ok but you'll have to pay restocking fee of $300 so as a warning they surly will get their money out of you either way and as far as my TV being a floor model I'm sure that warehouse manager have something to do with telling customer service it's a floor model because they don't want to replace it so who's lieing am I getting a floor model and Mesa store saying it's new or the warehouse is saying that so they don't have to replace a defective TV because if theres scratch's to me that's considered defective anyhow I had customer service call Mesa and they said it was new so then the customer service lady had a whole different kinda attitude and answer so at first it was they couldn't replace it due to it being a floor model to they still can't replace it because I signed for it either way you'll never win with them their name fits them they will Con you for all you got and write you up a ticket without you seeing it they say it's all in your email so you won't know until you open your email if it was a floor model I never got a 10percent discount but they say it's new and still won't do anything to help out their unhappy customers they are all full of crap customer service to store manager to their warehouse they all work in the same of chain to not help you out so here I go giving away $300 just to please them for restocking fee when they should of helped me out better they lost out in 2,300 and rather get the restocking fee of $300 for their scratch TV supposably it's new I was going to get more home appliances from them but they already put a bad taste in my mouth I'm really going to pay for a new scratch TV they got it wrong I'll have to pay their restocking fee and go on with my business someplace else read more

Thee worst store I have ever been in to try to spend money at. Went in looking for 2 sectionals for my living space. Talked to Jerad and found 2 I liked. Asked could I get a deal as I was buying 2 at over 7k. Said he had to talk to manager. Asked about warranty and for 1 sectional he stated it was $750! I said that seemed excessive and he claimed they don't make the prices and it was because the piece was new. He started to make a profile for me and I was giving him my info until he asked for me ssn. I was inquired what he needed it for and he said that was for the profile. I said no you don't need that. I have a synchrony home cc and I can use it here. So he comes back after calling someone and asking his manager who said he "might" be able to do up to a 10% discount. So I went to talk with the manager as well. He tells me the only way to use my synchrony card is to make a profile meaning they want to run my credit and have me get a card with them through synchrony. I told him no I have their home card and it can be used at any location that the card does business with. He tells me no and I say no deal. So I look up the info as I walk out to verify and as I stated they're affiliated with the card and can run it like a regular cc. I go back to explain this and tell him I just did this when I ordered sim blinds for my home and at Ashley's. He (I found out his name is Scott) says they're not Ashley they're Conns. So since he got smart so did I. He puts his hand out and flicks it in my face as if to shoo me off and tells me to get out his store. I said no and he steps toe to toe with, in my face. I tell him he better get out of my face and give me 6 ft or there will be problems. I say this 2-3 times with much force before he backs away and tells Jerad to call the police. He then tells me he's going to get me arrested in front of my kids. That's when I loose it. I tell Jerad to call the police because I want to see if he has that much power. I tell him I'm not leaving until they get there to make sure they know my side of the story as well. I was so heated I called him everything I could think of because as he's saying this he's laughing. Also as he's on the phone he's walking away so I can't hear what he's telling them. I stand at the front on the phone with my husband and when he sees them coming Scott walk towards me. I tell him if he comes in my face it's going to be a problem and that's a threat. The officer heard me and I repeat what I said. She asks me to go outside to talk and it seems like he told them I was trying to use a bogus credit card. He asks them to serve me with a no trespassing notification. I ask how am I trespassing when I only wanted to buy furniture? The point is for a big grown man to get in a woman's face to intimidate her is unacceptable. There are a lot of young men who work at this location and it's if they're going to be taught under Scott I feel for the people they interact with. If that's who Conns has representing their store then I know what the store stands for and personally want NO parts of a company like that. read more

Take an N out of the name and that's exactly what this place is full of, Cons. Bought a tv and a sound bar which was good and i was happy with, but the wireless surround sound they added wasn't compatible to the sound bar. So basically i have a surround sound that i can't use and wanted to charge me a restocking fee, it wasn't even 24 hours later. i just wanted to exchange for the compatible one and i was even willing to pay the difference. the compatible one was $100 more which was fine but the subwoofer was $400 more and still would have been charged a restocking fee for the original sound bar. Kind of sucks because i was going to purchase a living room and a bed room set. But i would never do business with this place again. This review is NOT about this Conns location in particular, but just Conns as a whole. My husband and I have both used credit to make purchases and they made it very easy both times. I really appreciated that. However, when out payment is due they send a text as a reminder, 3 days out. Great! That's fine. But then they start calling. And calling and calling and calling. The payment isn't late! And there is a grace period of 10 days before they charge you a $10 late fee. Calling no less than 8 times a day for a payment that is still within a grace period makes me really annoyed and angry. read more

This is the most ridiculous store I have ever been involved with. My daughter bought a table in the East Valley and had to pick it up in the far West Valley. It took one hour and ten minutes to get to the pickup distribution center. When we get there a guy in the warehouse heckled us and than you cannot get from customer pickup to the lobby without driving. There is no discount for making the drive. read more

They showed $7,500 owed on credit report the whole time, even when only $2,000 was owed. This hurts my credit. THEN when I paid it off, they closed it and that hurt my credit even more. This review is specifically for the Goodyear store and two employees. Went in on Halloween to review the store and prices before purchasing. Already got pre approved for zero interest. After selecting our stuff, set up for delivery. The first go around with the delivery was a nightmare. Delivery guys couldn't get the fridge in and damaged it. Make it short, our sales guy Zack and the Manager Damon did everything possible to fix it. Zero pressure even after I was so frustrated I wanted to unwind the whole deal. Zack and Damon did a wonderful job treating us like they would expect to be treated. Next delivery went flawless as they made sure our concerns and prior experience didn't go unnoticed. I was called in for an interview for Head Cashier, I was to meet with Jamie and Julio. Jamie didnt show up for the interview. Julio said he thought I would be a great fit wanted to know when I could start so I made an assumption. . I was then called in for a 2nd interview from Jamie yesterday and going in today at 2. I arrived at 1:50 and Jamie was told 3 times that I was there to meet with her n Ken. At 2:20 I left. Jamie told one of the guys she was eating and thought I was to be there at 3pm. I can understand a mix up and if she had just come to acknowledge me I wouldn't have gotten angry and left. I had cancelled my plans I had to do this interview which made it even worse!!
