We were looking for a new dining set and decided to stop in at Furniture Express. This was not just one of our best furniture buying experience, but sales experience. Jean was very transparent about pricing and there was no back and forth haggling that you deal with at many other furniture stores. She gives you her best price right out of the gate. When the Ashley truck broke down delaying the arrival, Jean offered to personally deliver it to us. We weren't in a hurry so we didn't take her up on it, but that just shows you that her customer service goes above and beyond. Wonderful experience all across the board! She's engaging, fun, and knows tons of tips/tricks about her business (competition, prices, what works, what doesn't, etc.) Jean is so personable that many of her customers are 'repeat' buyers, and some of them have become personal friends. She's attentive not only in person, but communicates through calls or texts to provide follow up or feedback, and is extremely flexible with payment arrangements. She's upfront and honest about deliveries and/or wait times for merchandise, and doesn't try to 'pressure' you into buying anything---no 'hovering'. Let's you shop at your own pace, and yell if you need her. They mislead me on delivery when I ordered a couch to be delivered during quarantine. I understand they can't always control the mail, which is why I discussed at length making sure what I ordered was in stock and could be delivered by a certain date. Then when it didn't arrive, I contacted them and they blamed me for expecting it on time. The couch was still 4 weeks out, as it actually hadn't been in stock, and my family was on the floor. So I cancelled to go buy a couch once out of quarantine, and they charged me $200 "restocking fee." read more

Came here just on a whim to check out their couch selection. They have quite a bit of stuff for a small store but I thought most things were all reasonably priced. They have a little bit of everything! Jean was the sweetest lady I've had the pleasure of working with. Sofa was delivered Monday night (one week after purchase!), and I couldn't be happier. It's exactly what I wanted, super comfy, and the fabric I picked looks beautiful. We purchased an "Ashley" sectional from "Furniture Express" about 4 years ago. Jean was amazing & very helpful at that time. We were very happy with the service we received. The Ashley sectional recently started having issues with the fabric shredding apart. We worked with Jean (the owner) to see if "Ashley Furniture" would warranty this. I received wildly different pricing from all of them. Come to find, some were at a markup of 400+% . Last place I checked was Furniture Express. Jean gave the best pricing and by far the best customer experience. She really goes out of her way to make sure you get exactly what you want and at a great price.
