All kinds of kitchen items. Some furnishings for both indoor and outdoor living. Aisles of pillows. Various area rugs. Among all the trendy decor did include more traditional items. I ended up purchasing a couple items. Having the fasteners on the endcaps was super convenient. I have shopped here before with mixed experience, but today was especially frustrating. I need rugs because my dog is having issues with the laminate flooring, and since this is hopefully a temporary issue, I wanted something that looks nice but not super expensive. I was thrilled when I saw a number of rugs on sale that fit exactly what I was looking for. That is until I realized that not a single one of these rugs was actually in stock, and most weren't even available online to be shipped. We must have looked at six or seven different styles in the runner size and the larger 8x10 sizes, and not a single one was there. Wasted my time. read more

The store itself is keep clean and well organized and the employees are kind. Where my gripes are is a store/company that marks up items before listing them as on sale or 50% off. Their whole outdoor, and fall section have stickers overlaying their original price tags all listing the items at 2-5 dollars more than they were selling them "in season." Sure. 50% off still seems like a good deal, but trying to squeeze a few more dollars out of consumers and pretend like it's not theft is just gross. This will be the last time I shop here. read more

Amazing selection of area rugs! Found exactly what we wanted, bought 4 of same in various sizes!

So I have been looking around everywhere for patio furniture this week to no avail and remembered I hadn't looked here in nearly a year. I'm on the fence about keeping it at four stars because of my experience today, but the decor I feel held it up to that. You be the judge when you read the review. Like I said, I came in for patio stuff so I went straight to the back. There were so many chairs and things to choose from, but not very many outside tables. That's fine I was willing to buy separate if I found one somewhere else. I found a good set of chairs that had been labeled 19.99 a piece. Great deal. I picked up four and added them to my cart. Then I went to the holiday decor which was AMAZING! Best selection of Halloween as well as fall. The employees were adding aisles of Christmas decor as well and it was all so beautiful. If I didn't already have so many bins of Christmas decorations I'd of bought more. I'd have to get a divorce though because my husband would kill me ha ha. Anyway, I told myself I'd limit my fall decor purchase to one or two items and stick with the furniture. The store was so clean and service friendly. I loved the great selections in kitchen and room decor etc . I made my way to the front to check out and this is where I was bummed/irritated. Once I was rang up the chairs that should've been 19.99 I was told are now a new price of 29.99. I said the tag says 19.99...she proceeded to show me on one of the chairs a tag that had black marker over the price covering the 19.99. I explained that's ridiculous to not have anything labeled with signs in that case near the items being possibly purchased. To avoid issues in the future. Or to the very least have staff use a sticker gun not a marker to update prices. Needles to say I put two back and left to go elsewhere for a full table/chairs. All in all the store was great. So many different items for everyone's tastes. Parking lot totally sucks and dips and holes everywhere. Good luck pushing that cart to your car. read more

This place is the size of Home Depot!! It is an incredible store that wows me!! This place has so much incredible stuff to offer at great prices! We purchased outdoor patio cushions. I was so WOWED because I wanted matching cushions for two different sets (table and chairs, a love seat and two wide single chairs that are part of a conversation set) that currently had different colored and patterned cushions...definitely not matching! I didn't think I would be able to find exact matching cushions for both sets. I was hoping to find similar type colors or patterns. To my AMAZEMENT, they have isles and isles of patio cushions at seriously great prices! Even more amazing was the fact that they have matching SETS, even so far as to offer matching bench cushions that match with table and chair sets that match with lounge chairs that match with couches and love seats!! AND I even scored matching pillows!! The cashier, Linda, was crazy helpful!! We decided to apply for a credit card that Linda suggested to get 10% off. We also got a 10% off military discount. Just moved out here from CA and have heard decent things about this place. We ended up spending quite a bit throughout several different visits to furnish our new house, and all has been fine up until now. I bought a headboard about a month ago which ended up being a strange color once I took it out of the box (looked nothing like the display in-store AND from an open box i peeked in. We are eligible to return items up to 60 days from what we were told. We now find out that we are unable to even do an even exchange for my headboard because of covid. Understandable, however, the unwillingness to do anything to HELP even just a little just baffles me. Policies are polices for a reason and I'm 100% okay with that but the "I'm not gonna eat that $200" response from the manager was atrocious. I feel anything but "at home" now. This place is AMAZING! They will have 99% of what you need to furnish and decorate your home. Aisles and aisles of decor items. Storage solutions. Artwork. Furniture. They got it. I do have to say some of the items are overpriced so beware. We wanted a battery operated marquee style capital A to hang on the wall with all of our family photos and it was $80. Nothing special about it either. I can get the same thing at Target for $30. Even my 9 year old son enjoyed walking the aisles. Watch for the clearance signs placed randomly throughout the store but make sure what you want is really clearance. All clearance merchandise will have a red strike thru on the upc, otherwise is full price. I bought 2 small wall hangings and a popup hamper and it was $36 but I could have spent so so much more. read more

Usually I am a fan of the At Home stores. I mean I don't necessarily enjoy going there because the place is kind of like IKEA in that it's huge and the old lady can't just run in and out for one thing. Nooo, we have to spend literally hours there, crawling slowly up one aisle and down the other as she handles each item and tells me how cute it would look in the house. Sigh. But I have to admit they have what we need all the time, the prices are good and they are typically well organized. This store not so much. I looked online and it said they had two items I was looking for in stock, but when I got there I couldn't find them. The store was a mess so I asked them to check their computer again and was told they do have the items in stock and I should look over in the discount buckets, with a wave in the general direction of half of the store. I never could find what I was looking for after searching for forty five minutes without seeing another store employee I could ask for assistance so I just left and got what I needed at a different location. If the6 didn't have it that's fine, but the disarray and lack of employees was discouraging. read more

A major positive of this store is the remarkable selection of unique furniture and wall art. I was looking for canvas paintings and there were aisles of them and at an affordable price, which is very difficult to find. There were also plenty of other accents and furniture all over the store, lots of beautiful and unique finds. I like vintage and antique shops, but they tend to carry items that need to be restored and are still pretty pricey so I'd rather go to a store like this and just buy something new that is still unique. read more

We were treated so rudely today by a man restocking "go back" items. I had a large cart that I was loading a huge clock on after We checked out. The man yelled at me for being in his way because he had a lot to put away and I was in his way. I have never been so poorly treated by a store employee. I've never been yelled at by an employee with their own agenda. I will never shop at this location again. My first and last time shopping that location. I'm only giving 2 stars because I don't to penalize others there. However, I did request a manager and they all looked at me like they had no idea what I was saying. SMH read more

Do not shop at this location! I was treated very very poorly here by Evan, Lisa and Jaylee. do not ever get curbside at this location as they have false advertising that you can order curbside. I sat in my car for 20 minutes and when finally going into the store Evan was eating at the register and Lisa was doing something at a cart but either cared about the item I was picking up and completely ignored me. The manager Jaylee was worse. These 3 people SHOULD NOT be representing the At Home company. It is one thing if a store is super busy and employees are all helping customers but this was NOT the case. Do not make any purchases at this store. The one on the East side of town is very nice and the employees treat customers the right way. Jaylee should NOT be a manager the way she handled my issue. Never apologized and didn't even care!! I like this place! They have a huge selection at affordable prices. Also, one time when I purchased a patio chair cushion that was buy one get one 50% off, I only bought one of the eligible items. They gave me 25% off on it! I can't think of any other retailer that has done that with BOGO 50% off sales. Their clearance prices are good too. The staff is really friendly. I was in the store over memorial day weekend and bought some chair cushions for my outside patio furniture. When I got to the register I asked the cashier with everything going on with COVID-19 is there any problems returning these if they don't work out she said just make sure you bring your receipt. So I took the cushions home they fit my chairs so I knew I was going to keep them so I cut the tags off of them but after one weekend sitting in them I could tell they weren't very good quality they left indentations and they didn't spring back like they shed so I brought them back to the store with my receipt and they would not give me a refund or an in-store credit so I asked to speak to another manager and he said absolutely not he gave me a hard time with attitude, so I told him I would never shop in the store ever again they could keep their crappy product and what really upset me was that he rolled his eyes at me I thought that was very unprofessional and I spent over $209 on these cushions. I am addicted to this store. Evey time I go in, I come out with something I didn't know I needed/wanted. We even joke that when friends come to visit from CA we take them to the Heard Museum and At Home. Lots of great decorating items and often really great prices but you do have to shop carefully. I have found similar items for less elsewhere (again--similar, not same). There are some great buys when they have their special flash sales--usually a big display at the entrance, but never any coupons or holiday sales. Being a big fan of Christmas, I love their unique selection of holiday decor (possibly overpriced) that never goes on sale. Hobby Lobby usually ends up getting the majority of my dollars in Dec. This is basically a big warehouse and frankly, the staff you see stocking/moving/rearranging appears to be there for their muscle strength and not any customer service. I have found their cashiers are extremely helpful. If you are looking for inexpensive decor--shelving, chairs, knick-knacks, etc. you will probably find something here at a good price. Pottery (planters, flower pots, etc. ) comes in all colors and sizes and the prices are really good. Interesting artwork, artificial floral, some kitchen/household goods, patio furniture and replacement cushions are just some of the tiems they carry.However, if you don't buy it when you see it, you probably won't find it next time. read more

The woman at the register did the best that she could. But during the patio furniture sale, some items are out of stock. The woman eluded to the fact that more could be in the back but she didn't have a way to stock check. She gave me a number to call other Az stores to find my item. "If you don't have a way to look it up, why would they?" I attempted to reach out to corporate, but you can get through to SSA faster and more efficiently. The company is set up to avoid their customers. I found my items with another company. I paid more, but i feel like i paid extra for the customer service. This is one of my favorite stores for home decor. I especially love all of the cute and whimsical things for our backyard. I collect mushrooms for my backyard and every time I go in there I find new ones to purchase. Today we went looking for some patio cushions. Unfortunately the ones they had were not the ones we wanted but they did have a very big selection and most of them were 50% off right now. They do a really good job during the holidays and you can find some really great deals. As my hubby just pointed out - sometimes too good! LOL! We usually go to look around and wait for things to go on clearance as then the prices are even better. I am a Professional Designer and after the way I was treated by one of the "staff" members hanging up on me and then after calling back she would not even answer the store phone I was convinced that this person was extremely unprofessional in her job and should not even be working for the Company Garden Ridge which by the way is located in Plano, TX. I called the chief of operations for the corp office and a few others at the top level and let them know about this staff member. I had already spent a $1,000 and was prepared to spend an additional $3,000 to $4,000 today but why should I give a company like this my money with staff treating me like garbage. Forget it I will take my business else where where I get treated like I am the customer and I get some respect and not hung up on. Oh and I called back 4 hours later and the SAME person answered the phone and she put me on hold and never came back. Unreal. I suggest you NEVER CALL if you plan to shop with these idiots. FYI they do have some incredible items IF you go through the junk to find a few jewels. Great prices on certain items like Big Mirrors are a steal.
