All nice when buying. Pushing the 5 yr. Extended warranty. Bought 2 recliners with battery packs. So outlet didn't have to be near. Not even a week of minimal use they die. Need to recharge. Call store Was told "That's why most people plug into outlets". Really! Now you tell us this? Had a difficult time going through warranty process. The customer chat was not pleasing. No one seems to care to step it up and offer helpful advise. Just make our new purchase a regret. Never buy from here. All fine till the sale is done. Then forget you. I paid extra for delivery and on-site assembly of a complete outdoor furniture set, yet it arrived fully pre-assembled and wouldn't fit through my backyard gate. The delivery crew had to take it apart and then rushed to reassemble it -- incorrectly. Several bolts were stripped, the set was put back together wrong, and it was unstable and unsafe to sit on. Fixing it myself wasn't an option because it required specialized tools I don't own. I had to call twice more to schedule repairs and take time off work for them to fix a problem they created. Simple solution: assemble outdoor furniture on site, like any normal person, and allow enough time to do it correctly. Completely avoidable and not the service I paid for. read more

The Revive mattresses are advertised made in the USA, but their sales guy Louis was adamant that they are made overseas. It is advertised that Revive is a Living Space brand and made in the USA, but Louis didn't bother to check, continued to double down that they are made overseas, so I don't know who to believe in this situation, I had left the store and then checked with the manager and he said yes they are made in CA, so I did go back into purchase but if it is made overseas then this is false advertisement. read more

Shopping was fine, but it was the worst delivery experience ever they told us the stuff is gonna be delivered on Tuesday between two and four. They called back the night before and told us it would be at 8 to 10 in the morning. We had changed our plans to arrive at the same time But now we had to rethink everything and rush over there. We purchased the care free plan 5 years ago. We came back five years later to see about using the warranty/care plan. We were told by customer service to come back in 6 months. I told him that the plan says to come back at 5 years and you have 60 days - which was then. He assured me and my husband we just needed to come back after 6 months. The employees were very professional and helpful. the only thing I would like to post is that the recliner I purchased is VERY uncomfortable and I'm thinking about tossing it out on the street. I did sit in it before I purchased it and I assumed after using it for awhile it would get a little softer. However I can feel the wood frame, sinking seat and I already added a 5" cushion under me. I only rate 3 stars since they refused to deliver all pieces of furniture thus costing me sn extra $120 to rent a UHaul pickup truck as well as deal with the heat. The experience shopping was great and they have great selection but you better not get the good deals. They don't deliver those. Our assistant told us just $30-$40 to rent a UHaul pickup truck. She failed to mention the almost $1/mile charge. Was a 76 mile round trip! Oh well. Lesson learned. We love our furniture though. Got alot for $2500!.. 2 sofas, 4 tables and 4 bar stools. Living Spaces furniture is very low quality and they don't stand behind it when something goes wrong. We recently purchased a table for our patio and the finish is peeling off in sheets. I called customer service when the table was out of warranty for less than one week and they wouldn't do anything about it. I was told that if I had called one week earlier they would have replaced it or given us store credit. We've purchased over $20k in furniture from Living Spaces and have had issues with every single piece. if you want quality furniture that will last and a company that will stand behind it, don't buy from Living Spaces. read more

We bought two recliners from living spaces and they were delivered the next day as promised. But one of the recliners did not come with the AC adapter so that you could actually use the reclining function. I immediately reached out to their customer service who stayed on the phone with me while I sent pictures and they told me that I would have to wait 24 hours for someone to reach out to me. After 24 hours of no follow up I reached out to customer service again, who stated they did not receive the pictures I sent the day before and I had to send them again which I did. Again I had to wait 24 hours for someone to reach out to me. After another 24 hours of no follow up, I actually went to the store asked to speak to a manager who they just directed me to customer service who told me they didn't have that part in the store and they would reach out to the warehouse who would expedite it. Here I am a week later, and I still have no part and nobody has ever reached out to me. Buyer beware when buying electric furniture from them. We have used them many times before with no issues, but once we had to use their customer service, it is horrible and you can never reach anybody and managers are never available. read more

This store is clean, huge and has a large selection. The employees were super friendly. I am going to have to be the bad guy here and say quality isn't that great. Prices are. You get what you pay for. The prices are great but most furniture here isn't for a long term investment. Just looking at and feeling the couches and back cushions, opening doors and drawers on dressers and consoles I left weary. A lot of the floor models couches are wonky, doors weren't working or wouldn't closing all the way. You could see nails lifting under the surface of dining tables. Inexpensively made drawers in dressers. I purchased starter furniture when I got my first apartment when I was 21, but it was solid. Things have changed over the years. I don't go with that excuse that it is a floor model. Most couches get way more use at home than in a store. Other furniture retailers have items I have seen on the floor for years that get sat on everyday and still look great, though they cost more. On a positive note they offer a large selection of art work and accessories which were very nice. We did see a couple of dining tables that did looked great along with patio furnishings. Pick and choose carefully. Open and close the doors and drawers. Find out their return policies before purchasing, and look over everything outside before you load it or before it enters into your house if delivered. Do not accept it if damaged. Shop smart and I am sure you can score some useful items here. read more

Be aware purchasing the warranty....its a waste of money and LS won't stand by the shoddy workmanship of the assembly companies they subcontract . Only 2 1/2 yrs after purchasing a bedroom set, the legs supporting the wood slats on our bed started coming off. As it turns out, the screws and attachments were totally stripped and were probably barely hanging on in the first place. We filed a warranty claim online and it was denied because we had listed the assembly as the reason for filing the claim. We weren't looking for a new bed... we just wanted a new slat support for the mattress. They wouldn't even do that. You'd think after all the money we spent furnishing the house, they'd be more receptive but it's not the case. Take your business elsewhere. read more

We bought a 2200 couch from Living Spaces Feb 14th. We filled out an application for a 5 year no interest loan thru Synchrony Bank. I went on-line to register the account and have auto pay turned on. They ask for all of your info which I gave them. I checked a box for auto withdrawal from checking. I guess I missed something because they took the entire amount out. Synchrony bank has no one to talk to except India. I wouldn't deal with them or Living Spaces again. This is why I like dealing with a local bank instead of online banking. The woman in India was rude and basically told me it was my fault and nothing they could do. No more Living Spaces or online banking for me. read more

I would give it 0 stars if I was able to. We purchased a sectional sofa in light grey. The sofa came in dark brown with a grey tint. The photos below back up my claim. Three employees from the store said the color is very different they blamed it on the lighting in our house . We were informed that they will not allow us to return the couch. We were also told we had to pay a stocking fee of $46, are you kidding the photos will prove in our favor. I was in touch with corporate customer service and a supervisor who informed me to buy an equal or greater couch and pay a re shipping and pick up fee. Rip off. We paid $3,066 for a grey couch if we wanted to buy another light grey couch it would cost us $5,000 with no guarantee of the color and that comment is from the sales associate. So in the end I have filed a report with the BBB, terrible review on google, Yelp and I will be contacting 5 on your side. You be the judge is it the same color of section in the photos. We recently ordered a new dining room table, chairs and a side board/buffet, plus new office furniture. All but one piece was delivered on 07/08. At the time of delivery, I noticed that the top of the table was quite rough, and caused splinters when I ran my hand over it. I reported it to the driver who was quite apologetic. He said that this happens a lot with the particular table that we got (the "Brentwood"). He made a phone call, and was told that the "tech team" would call within two days to schedule a repair. He also took photos of the issue. No phone call came, so I called the 800 number (no way to reach the individual store) and reported it again. The rep ("Anthony V") found the original report along with the photos. He could not explain the delay in responding, but again, promised a call back within TWO days. Still no call. So I went to the website to report the issues... filed the warranty claim, and submitted my own photos. And again, was promised a call back within 2-3 days. Long story short, it's been TWO WEEKS and no response from the store. I am as angry as I can be about this. We spent over $7K for this furniture and they refuse to even call me back to investigate the issue. read more

Paid 2700 for a leather love seat. After six months of normal use holes developed in the seating area of the furniture. I called to have it covered under the one year warranty. I sent in pictures . I was told normal wear and tear aren't covered under the warranty. I said you think holes developing after just 6 months is normal? They said yes . I spent a over 13k on furniture with them and this is how they treated me. My previous leather sofa was 10 year old and no holes anywhere! I'm honestly not surprised that these people have 2 stars. They are absolutely incompetent and honestly quite unintelligent when it comes to product knowledge. Which makes sense because every answer they give you is a memorized corporate policy, or a confused frantic look around the store. They lack basic social skills and on top of everything they are downright rude. When walking in to grab a cart, it had old food (red onions) in it from an old sandwich, which stunk the area up pretty bad. My wife and I were going to spend $15k on new furniture and decor but I am so glad we went with our gut and took our business across the street to Scandinavian Designs. Jason over at SD is knowledgeable, classy, courteous and will work with you on expediting lead times and discounts. I went to living spaces today to see a picture I liked online. I tend to have a different opinion usually when I see it in person so this was a must for me. I had been here years ago and don't recall the enormous amount of artwork they have. I am the type of person that when choosing artwork likes to look directly at it not have my head tilted all the way back looking to the sky like I'm looking at an airplane. They need to rethink a better way for all the top pieces of artwork. They have a lot of different furniture styles & they also offer a design studio where you can customize with fabrics of your choice for no additional cost which is nice. They offer accessories and patio furniture as well. My biggest turn off with them is that they don't have a direct line to their store. In fact none of the locations do, the number is through a customer service line. I tried calling and was told that the wait time was 20 minutes. Crazy!!! I wanted to confirm they had the particular picture there because online said they had 2 left and I know from experience what's on line inventory seldom matches in store inventory. After waiting about 10 minutes I had gotten on their website chatting with another person who would have to email the store to confirm that. Lol that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. The customer service team can't even get a hold of them. Next day though an email was returned. read more

We went to look and were helped by Dani. She was friendly, helpful, and informative. At the time, we decided to think on which one we were going to get. Ultimately, we went back to Living Spaces to get the couch, in part because of Dani. She was just as helpful the second time we met with her as she was the first time. If I could give zero stars I would . Horrible customer service in their warranty dept . We bought a mattress in April . When we got it the mattress was not right one side was like sleeping in a hole . I called and they said to give it 60-90 days to break in . This was not the mattress we tested at the store it was horrible . In the 60 days my husband and I had turned the mattress 4 times and been to the chiropractor 2 times . We then reported a warranty claim the first week in July . They finally sent someone out August 22 to look at the mattress . I told them you couldn't see anything it had to be inside the mattress . They declined our warranty claim stating there would need to be a 1 1/2 inch sag in the mattress . We haven't been able to sleep on this mattress for 2 months and now we are out $1500 for something we can't even use . Do not buy anything from living spaces their customer service is horrible and their warranty is even worse . I will never step foot in that store again . read more

I called the number that is the same corporate number for every "store" and they told me they could not help me and I need to contact the store to help solve the issue even though we didn't purchase it at a store. They do not have individual phone numbers for stores so there's no way I can call unless I go into a store. An employee made a mistake on the order and they refused to make the change without a $350 restocking fee??? Even though I came in the next day. They said it had to be changed the same day. Read the fine print. I am stuck with furniture that is too big for the room because the employee selected the wrong size and I signed. Bad customer service. Bad policies. I had other furniture that was not special order and I immediately canceled. We were a repeat customer of this store. On returning to shop for an end table, we found the perfect one for us. Then we were told it was out of stock and not purchasable on the floor. When I suggested that, maybe they take it off the floor if it wasn't for sale. The salesman rudely said I don't make the rules. Oh yes, there was a price tag on it as if it were for sale. Leaving, I said to the person at the front desk that I suggested if something was not available, they put it off the floor, he just simply shrugged his shoulders. I would have expected any kind of a concerned reply such as we can put it on backorder for you. We can call you when it's available or even that's an idea. READ BEFORE BUYING HERE!! First off I wish I could give living spaces as a whole ZERO STARS. My fiancé and I just bought our 1st house and as a treat we wanted to get ourselves a new couch. We went to the GLENDALE AZ location off Bell rd to look at couches. Oh my the store sparkles and has associates and their little tables ready to give you a quote and show you all the fabric options. Sounds perfect right?!?!! We spent almost $3,000 on a oversized chaise, a connecting sofa, and the matching ottoman. The moment we ordered the couch and left the location everything has been dog crap since!!! After waiting MONTHS with ZERO follow ups we get a call that said it is taking longer than normal, fine it's covid I'll understand. Another 2-3 weeks pass by and we finally get a call to get it delivered. The day was finally here, we were beyond excited! The delivery guys drop the couch in the house (it came in 3 wrapped pieces) and before I could get a word out of my mouth, the delivery driver raised his voice and said verbatim, "YOU NEED TO CALL THE 800 NUMBER THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO WE ARE LEAVING!" The oversized chaise was delivered in the WRONG COLOR. We have the blue couch and ottoman we ordered and a GREY chaise labeled NAVY. The couch was clearly manufactured incorrectly and the delivery men left, and were no help. Side note how can a chaise that costs over 1,000$ not go through better quality control. Not to mention to people at the warehouse at the store not give a crap and notice the delivery was WRONG. So I call the 800 number wait for over 30 minutes (you have to wait that long each and every time which is a JOKE). I said I am pissed I've waited months just to be delivered a couch in the wrong color???? The lady on the phone said I am going to email you a link and we will submit a claim to warranty. So I had to take pictures of the couch and here's the kicker!!!!! "Someone will call you within 4 business days". WHAT! Are you kidding??!? It was maybe 9 am at this point so I waited until the store opened and marched into the GLENDALE AZ store where I made the order. The manager was a female, she was sweet and apologized and said she would help me and that warranty is pretty useless (awesome!!!! No over ever called by the way). I waited in the store for an hour while she checked to make sure it wasn't in the warehouse. She told me she would order a new piece and that it would be expedited (2 months later, I am writing this and still no couch). We had to schedule a time to get it picked up so they came a few days later (these movers were way more enjoyable). The manger apologized which was nice. But an apology doesn't always cut it. There was absolutely no compensation, not to mention that once your items are delivered the financing department bills you within 30 days. We are required to pay for half a couch that isn't being used. There was nothing they could do to stop payments or give us a discount to apologize about the mistake the company made! Are you kidding me????? I've worked in customer service for all my life and this should never be acceptable. I am taking the time to let you all know this company doesn't not care about their customers and make promises they can't keep. False advertisement to say the LEAST! Here is where we are at currently at, waited on the phone for another 30 minutes to ask for an update and was told there is nothing could be found out until the time frame given from the manufacture has PASSED. So I guess we will continue to wait and be disappointed. The manager has also stopped responding to emails so I have received no communication throughout this whole process unless I call and wait on the phone to still get no solution nor compensation. If I would have known that it would have been a NIGHTMARE I would have returned the whole couch while I had the chance and spent my hard worked money elsewhere and with a company that wants to serve their customers. I am unbelievably disappointed with customer service this company has to offer and I will next be reporting this to the BBB because there are way too many reviews like mine.
