The dream foam mattress in 10 inch was the closest I could find to temper pedicure. It was 1/4 the price and I'm thrilled with it. I have chronic hip pain and it is relieved with this mattress. Don't hesitate. This mattress is wonderful. It came in a box delivered to our door. We removed the old mattress first. Brought new one in and removed plastic . It started inflating immediately. Theo in Surprise helped me find what I consider so far to be an excellent mattress. I sampled many but he was straightforward in suggesting what I need as a side sleeper. Who knew there is such a thing as a designated mattress style for us side sleepers. I purchased Twin XL Aurora Cloud Mediums, as well as Ergomotion adjustable bases. Since the mattresses weren't in stock, they needed to be manufactured right here in Phoenix (I like that), and they were delivered as promised 10 days later. John and Alonso were courteous, fast and pleasant when working with me, a picky customer, and were in and out in less than an hour. So far the comfort is perfect! Sales people are like politicians, believe half of what you see and none of what you hear. We decided on the king 'Heritage' model as it has a plush pillow top and I needed something softer than the Stearn's & Foster we had. We paid the $3,200 plus and waited the two weeks for delivery as the bed was being made. We also purchased their special mattress cover in order to have the warranty against spills, etc. The delivery people from Brooklyn Bedding allowed the bed to fall from the back of the truck and onto the street (thankfully it was covered in heavy plastic) This bed requires a flat pedestal type foundation with a sturdy frame as it is quite heavy. The mattress was placed onto the pedestal and it was quite apparent that mattress was undersized, we put their special mattress cover on it and it was massively oversized.-see photos. The piping on both sides of the bed were incorrect as one side sat underneath the mattress while the other side sat well above the bottom of the mattress and also had a serpentine curve near the top side of the mattress. The measurements for a king bed are; 76 inches in width 80 inches in length The king Heritage bed that they delivered was: 74 inches in width 76 inches in length I called Elizabeth Hanson at the Surprise, AZ store -she sold us this bed and she told me that we needed to measure the bed and send the photos. After she 'reviewed' the photos she said the bed was measured incorrectly however, by 'industry standards' the mattress was acceptable, however, by my standards, it was not acceptable! I told her that I wanted the bed measured by her store representatives, she said that company policy states I have to wait an entire 30 days. I asked her to schedule that appointment, which she did and the representatives measurements were identical to the measurements we initially sent to Elizabeth. The bed was remade and delivered on 02-17-23 I tried using their special mattress cover as it actually fit the new mattress but the sheets slid all over the bed, quite uncomfortable. Today 02- 20, I stopped by that store to return that mattress cover and she actually tried to deny my refund as I had it over 30 days, now seriously, she knew it was never used as she saw the photos I sent to her in December! Great experience from the moment I walked into the store to the moment I laid down on my new mattress. The sales associate, Marcelino, was super helpful; he showed us all around the showroom and was very knowledgeable about each mattress. Of course, we started off with the high end mattress and after trying others, we knew the Heritage was coming home with us. The adjustable bed was amazing, but out of our price range so Marcelino gave us the price with just the frame and box springs. Great 10-year warranty on the mattress and he arranged for next day delivery. The delivery was exactly as Marcelino explained- they called first thing in the morning to give us a 2-hour window and delivered promptly within that time. The guys were friendly and super quick to set up the new bed. Plus they removed the old mattress and box spring. Overall it was a great experience and I'll definitely be back to get that adjustable bed frame next time. read more

They promise a money back guarantee - don't believe it! I hate my bed. It causes me severe back pain, the mattress is lumpy, and I'm incredibly unhappy. Not what you expect when you spend $10k on a bed. I've tried to return it, and the answer was "no". We bought a split king adjustable and the base is crooked, the mattresses shifts off the base at night, so I tried to say "I need a return" but neither of those reasons are included in their return policy. Our experience with Brooklyn Bedding (BB) could be summarized by stating that during the 4 months of issues with the adjustable bed frame, they did the absolute bare minimum to help us & therefore we decided to refund the entire $6,493 order so we no longer have to deal with this headache any longer. We will never recommend BB to anyone. Here is why we had an awful time working with BB: Reason 1. Terrible quality control with the adjustable bed frames. We went through 11 adjustable bases & in the end, we still had a defective base which is why we returned the whole purchase. We gave them so many opportunities to make this right & they failed so many times. The issues we had were a squeaking frame, frame manufactured incorrectly to not sit level, huge gaps between the bed layers, syncing issues between the two sides, & rattling. After base 7, BB promised it would be put together in the warehouse to be tested & brought out so it would be perfect. The 1st time it still had the same manufacturing issues & we foolishly agreed to a 2nd time. The 2nd time it was significantly worse with rattling issues which was our final straw. Overall, it was extremely insulting that they promised us twice it would be perfect. If they took 5 minutes to actually check these bases as they said they would, they would have found these issues before delivering them. Reason 2. Horrible experience when it came to technical support & delivery. Tech support rarely called back & we would have to call again to confirm appointments. For delivery days, they would call us the same morning of delivery around 8AM to give us a 2 hour window (any time from 10AM to 4PM). This normally would not be a major issue, but since we had to go through 7 delivery/tech visits we had a lot of lost time. When it comes to the actual deliveries, we ended up with a damaged door frame & a large scratch across 11 wood floor planks due to the workers being careless. The door frame was scratched on December 1, which we ultimately decided to let them off the hook because we just wanted to be done & have our bed. The next delivery after that adjustable base did not work, on December 12, is when they scratched the floor. Reason 3. Terrible management that could not do anything right. Our salesperson, Elizabeth, is the only reason why we kept patient with BB as she advocated for us but it seemed no one above her was willing to help. It took them over 2 months, 9 defective bases, a damaged door frame & a scratched floor before anyone above Elizabeth contacted us. In January we finally heard from Doug, who we believe is 2nd behind the owner. He hadn't heard of our issues until now & said he would to get it fixed promptly. However, there were multiple times we called & texted him with no response for days. We were given a $500 refund for our troubles. The only viable option he provided was returning our bases to get a refund which would be used toward the cost of a different manufacturer's base with no discount. We decided that his solution was not sufficient for what we have gone through & decided to return the whole order. Reason 4. BB failing to get our floor repaired due to bad contractors & poor management again. After the floor was scratched, they contacted Tony Rivera to come access the floor. He no-showed on the appointment. BB then reached out to Dave to color match/fill the scratch. Over the next 4 weeks Dave proceeded to cancel all 4 appointments due to his truck breaking down, not having the correct materials, a stomach bug due to something he ate the night before & feeling under the weather. After the 3rd cancellation Doug said he would find another option but this didn't happen & we still haven't heard of a solution since. BB actually asked us to give Dave a 5th chance which we obviously declined. BB has shown they are incapable of fixing the problems they caused & are responsible for. From our point of view, BB does not care about the customer because they have made minimal effort to make things right. This has been a nightmare for us & our floor is still scratched with no solution in sight. read more

A few years ago my husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We literally never go anywhere to celebrate anything in over 25 years so we went for a mattress! Ours was much too firm. Now he needs a firm mattress as he has lower back issues from working so hard. I like a squishy marshmallow cloud. We got the best of both world. We have had our king sized mattress over 5 years now and it is still amazing. I called to get a purchase year and they only keep records for 2 years records so make sure to keep all your paperwork if you should ever need to use your warranty. I purchased some sheets from them a few weeks later. Our mattress is 13 inches thick. Back then they didn't have a good grasp around the corners. I do not know if they are any better now. read more

Spent 4 grand here just for their mattress protector they sold us, to fail when our son wet the bed and for them to tell us there's nothing they can do when we present them with the mattress protector will small holes in it. Why? because I washed it first and now they can't do their water pour test on it. what's a water pour test? they said their policy when a mattress protector is in question Is for the customer to bring in the soiled mattress protector so they can see the stain, put it on a display bed, and pour water on the soiled spot to see if it leaks into the display bed. number one - that's disgusting! number 2 - that isn't stated anywhere online or in store. we were never told this upon purchase. I went into the store by myself in the morning of jan 5 and left with no solution. then my bf called them to speak to the manager after I couldnt get the issue resolved, which is for our warranty to not be voided because of the stain caused by their defective cover. the manager, Marcel, was rude, offered no solution, laughed at my bf, taunted him, and hung up on him. later, we drove back to the store with the protector but he called the police on us and then after we were banned from ever returning, he offered us a replacement protector for our defective one under the 3 year warrant coverage. that he still never even looked at!!! immediately called us liars, treated us as criminals, and banned us for having an issue with their protector and arguing that their "policy" to bring in soiled materials doesn't exist. Marcel treated us customers horribly and I cannot believe that Brooklyn bedding would have someone like that in their employ. Brooklyn bedding has reached out to me and apologized about our encounter. they assured us that the way that the sales rep/manager at this store handled this situation is not at all how Brooklyn Bedding operates. we are very happy with how the company handled this situation, they went above and beyond, responding very quickly to our complaints. I would recommend visiting another location for any mattress/bedding needs. read more

I received a 1500$ gift card from the owners of R&S mattress at Operation Shower in Phoenix. They went out of their way to honor each expecting military mom with a 1500$ gift card to their store. My husband and I decided to go to the Surprise location, where Scott helped us pick out the perfect mattress. He was very patient with us and our "wild" 2 year old and we felt that we received outstanding customer service. We also purchased a mattress protector along with the mattress. When I noticed that the cover was defective, Scott immediately sent his inspectors to take pictures and followed up in the process and has been in touch with the manufacturer of the protective cover. I purchased a mattress it was defective they sent me the same style again defective they switched it out with a Serta that was not comfortable now mind you they have a 120 day love it or exchange I called that next few days after they said they are no longer getting serta mattresses to wait on new styles coming in. Labor Day weekend I go in and they are in the new mattresses and I pick one out and Steve the manager said he will get back to me and till this day no one has and I have this uncomfortable mattress I sleep on and at very upset no one has called me to resolve this. You have 120 days to try it out and if you don't like it exchange it without any hassle. We got the Aurora medium and it was a little too soft so we traded for the firm version. Went to this location to buy a new mattress and box spring for my child. We dealt with Wayne who was very helpful when shopping. We were the only customers in the store, and it went get smoothly. The issue however, was they simply "forgot" to deliver my bed. Bought it a week early, set up delivery for the day we moved into a new house. Waited until a few minutes after my three hour delivery window and called them. Wayne stated he just forgot to put it into the computer. After our 12 year old mattress finally bit the dust we started the arduous process of shopping for a new mattress. After trying out some name brand mattresses at another place and being fairly underwhelmed with the quality I saw an ad for R&S online and was happy to find a place that actually makes their mattresses local. Wayne, the salesman, was knowledgeable, friendly and he was great about giving us all the time we needed to make our choice. And boy did we take a ton of time. We actually came back twice and spent ages trialing out mattresses. All the mattresses were super comfortable and very reasonably priced. The mattress we chose, while comfortable, ended up being so tall that I had a very hard time getting in and out of bed (don't be like me and make sure to measure your bed before buying) but we were able to easily exchange it for a different mattress with their 60 day comfort exchange. We're happy with the mattress. Good support, a bit firmer than our late latex...our complaint is about the customer service. We have a lot of stuff going on right now and needed to know when the mattress would be delivered...we only had one free day to set aside within a two week period. Wayne, the store manager, forgot to put the frame on the truck so the delivery guys were unable to set it up (they had promised free set-up). Wayne's solution was for us to wait two days and he'd have it delivered them. Since one of us has mobility issues, sleeping with the bed on the floor was unacceptable while we waited two days for the frame. A similar thing happened before regarding a headboard we bought for our last bed when it wasn't on the truck and the manager stopped at our house when he got off work and set it up for us. No such offer came from Wayne. Since we couldn't wait, I drove back to the store and got the frame myself. I told Wayne it should be free to us since we were not getting the set up promised due to his error. He offered nothing. Since neither of us are spring chickens, when I got home I found some landscapers and paid them $20 to set up the bed. Nice mattress but lousy customer service. read more

Heard of r and s mattress from a relative, they had told me they did their fair share of mattress shopping and this was the place to go. When it came time for a new mattress we looked at many stores for options, we chose r and s mattress. They have a quality selection with a range of prices.
