This store is a sensory nightmare. If you have any sort of migraines, sensory issues, hate loud noises, or just want to talk to the person you're with, don't go to this location. As you walk in, there is a high pitched store alarm going off at the entrance. You can see the box and the lights flashing, indicating an alarm is happening. No employees seem to notice or be able to do anything about it. They just keep doing whatever they're doing. Then as you walk further into the store, that aforementioned alarm gets much louder to the point where at least 1/4 of the store is unshoppable. It gave my wife and I both terrible headaches almost instantly. We tried to escape that area and went further back into the store. Guess what? Another loud and annoying section with a broken air conditioning system vent that sounds like a jet engine. It is so loud you literally have to yell to communicate with someone 2 feet from you. All the while, employees just wander around doing their job. One did stop to apologize for the noise while my wife and I were shouting over it to pick out throw pillows. We honestly had to give up and get out of there. What a fun environment they've created at this store! Awesome store. We found tons of great stuff for my new apartment, including the coffee table of my dreams for such an amazing price, I was very surprised at the value. Rebecca checked us out and wrapped all of my delicate items with such care and a smile on her face. At Home isn't a store I go to often (not in a convenient location for me) but I noticed quite a difference in a recent visit. It was particularly well stocked, and for the most part, prices were very reasonable. I saw a few things that made me say "what?" but I also scored well on some great clearance buys. The store seemed cleaner and I did not notice the "musty" smell of the past. Employees were helpful and one gentlemen in the rugs just went out of his way to assist me. I tried to return defective Christmas lights that literally went out on Christmas Eve and they wouldn't give me a full refund bc it's after Christmas. The cashier was laughing about it and so was the manager that they called over. It says on their website that if an item is defective or damaged it can be returned within 60 days, yet because they are Christmas lights they wouldn't let me. And we were never told we had to return them before Christmas if they needed to be returned. I would understand if it were any other Christmas item, but these literally stopped working and we tried everything to get them to work again. Terrible policies and customer service. We had them less than a month before they stopped working and obviously couldn't take them down on Christmas Eve to return them. First off I LOVE At Home stores. LOVE! So why the two stars? My husband and I wanted a canvas print they had but couldn't justify the price tag. Get a email that certain prints were 50% off. Low and behold our print was included. I order online because I didn't want to walk around in the store. The whole social distancing thing. Get a confirmation and wait for the email and text my order is ready. Four hours later, mind you I ordered like 7 in the morning, hours before they open I receive my email that they are "sorry" because my item is unavailable. Fast forward several hours later my husband was in the area playing golf and decided to swing by to check if they still had them. Yep, in a different spot than they once were but they still had several in stock. My guess is the person that was assigned my order just didn't look. This print is massive 48"x60", you can't miss it. And a week ago they did the same thing with a table runner I wanted, maybe they don't really want to sell their sale items thinking I'd pay full price next time I'm in the physical store. We have all heard about then outrageous inflation that the country is experiencing but my review is a stone cold example of corporate greed using "inflation" as an excuse. The three mirrors I bought already existed and were already marked at $14.99 and after the fact we're REMARKED to $19.99. (I didn't notice till I got home.) They manually marked this item up by 33% because the economy is dealing with a astronomical and all time high inflation of 7.5%. Way to screw over your customers for corporate greed. read more

I drove all the way from Florence to here to get a window treatment panel for the wife but I didn't mind as I got to use it as an excuse to take my bike out for a spin. It's been a long time since I've been up here but it was worth the trip, as they had the panel which she has been looking for all over the state since it's discontinued. The store is massive of course, and so is the parking lot. It was a good thing I was on my bike, as otherwise I would have spent waaay to much money on patio cushions which we need that they were having a sale on. The term fit for a queen when it comes to decorating is the term I will use for this hidden jewel. At Home in a huge warehouse store right off the freeway is a like walking into a Barbie doll house and finding all the charming touches to your dream home. The moment you walk in your not sure which way to go as there is cute stuff everywhere. When I shop there I walk down almost every isle to make sure I don't miss anything unique to add to my home. You will find items from paintings, pictures, frames to mirrors. You will find plants, pots and vases. To all the home decor. Need a fancy chair or bar stools there are hundreds of seating items. That's not all you can find bath, kitchen and dining room supplies. I find many items I like the only down fall is the items are much higher priced. I find many similar items that I see at Target, TJ Maxx or other stores priced much higher. There is no incentive ins shopping there such as rewards or killer sales. I found a set of bars tools that I got from TJ Maxx for $59.99 a piece that were there for $99.99 each. There is an isle that has markdown on items but not anything to find people fighting over. The store is great don't get me wrong but definitely do your home work. Plan on spending some time at this store. It is fun. Plus the lines are not crazy long. As far as service I have never been greeted not have found help in the isles but the cashiers are always friendly. read more

Let me start by saying this, the manager here lacks the ability to show ZERO empathy! Why are her representatives so much nicer than she is? Her name is Dana. I went in and was looking to buy a wicker couch for outside. I found the perfect one, but it was too large for my car. So, I asked a manager about delivery. She explained to me that it is a 3rd party and they would pick it up that day or the next day. This was Friday as soon as they opened. Days went by and nothing! A few days later I call the store and they said that I had to call the 3rd party company with no apology or anything! I ended up calling the company for delivery and they said they had not received any orders! I was livid at this point and I called the manager back and she said I could get a refund or deal with them. I let her know that she could at least apologize, which their were crickets on the line. I rented a Uhaul and visited the store for a refund on my delivery. I spend LOTS of money at this store and to be treated like this is appalling. Not one apology or empathetic statement by the manager Dana, because from her point of view it was a 3rd party deal... Why is At Home in partnership with this Pickup company!? If they will just let your purchased product sit in their back room for days without a call or a simple apology. Even when I went to the store, Dana looked at me like I was stupid. I am seriously not making this up. At home, you need to do a more thorough job at locating management, as Dana is losing you money. Ah! I love this big box store! They have the cutest aesthetic things! Their home accessories such as mirrors, lounging furniture, outside garden supplies AND AT HOME HAS A HUGE SEASONAL SECTION! It's so freaking massive. I came here last summer in June and they had Halloween stuff out, I was enthralled- I ended up buying a lot of Halloween stuff!! it was aisle after aisle! We didn't want to spend a whole lot since the project itself was pretty pricey and At Home came to the rescue! Their patio cushions happened to be 50% off of their already great prices and they had the EXACT cushion pattern that I was looking for! I literally got pillows for our adirondack chairs for $5 each! YES! They also had 50% off of select furniture and I got a wicker coffee table for $35, along with super cute lanterns for under $15. They have something for every home, every room, and every style! HUGE selection. If you haven't been, stop by. Every season there's an abundance of merchandise to pick from. I would say a lot of it has that "made in China" feel to it, so you feel like your paying a little more then you should for some stuff but other stuff is worth the price. Their Christmas holiday selection is insane! But go there before black Friday to get anything. They started putting Christmas up in July I think but I figured I'd wait to buy anything. We purchased curtain rods for a large window and while we knew they were plastic, they sagged in the middle and the tiny nails that came with it were not adequate. Finally, after finishing the install and hanging the draperies, we recognized that the middle section would just fall apart w a single tug on a curtain. So, our $35.00 curtain rod purchase was thrown in the trash given how the torn packaging made it impossible to return. I think if you prefer higher quality products and merchandise, this is not your store. If you don't mind Made in China or elsewhere mass productions, then it's a place for you to shop. If I could give zero stars for customer service I would. Reason: having 4 chairs, I felt it reasonable to order 4 chair cushions. The site allowed me to order 4, then told me that only 2 were available. Noticing that there might be other of the same items at other At Home locations, I asked if it would be possible to.be able to have another store send the additional 2 items to my local store. In a very annoyed manner the person told me that each store is separate. So if I want the other two chair cushions it's on me to drive 90 miles round trip to the location that has the other 2. Here's the deal: great store but customer service is HORRIBLE. I was determined to not purchase my Christmas tree from them due to lack of customer care. I ended up finding it myself at the Tempe store are they were fantastic! The story goes like this....the tree we absolutely loved was out of stock. Like a previous yelper pointed out they will not call another store for you. They offered to sell me the floor model. Me: "Ok great!!!" "Do you offer a discount?" Manager "No" Me: "Oh ok well I see your offering a Black Friday sale of a free storage bag so that will work to transport it home because you don't have the box correct?" If you are looking to purchase things from at home definitely go to the Scottsdale location. The location on 32nd St. is the worst customer service. I called ahead to get a last piece of a furniture set that they said they would hold for me and when I got there they said it is now being sold to someone else. They had a display and wouldn't give me that at a small discount. When I tried to speak to the manager Edward he was so disrespectful and rude. The people at the Scottsdale location are so kind and helpful. The people at the 32nd St. are awful. read more
