An awesome hardware store compared the the smaller version in our area. A Dippin' Dots freezer in Ace? Cool! Lots of nice gifts, nice staff and huge inventory. A nice experience and we will make use of their handyman services. Shared parking lot and WiFi. read more

A lady with a pixie cut and gray hair with glasses was super rude to me!! I was unboxing something to see its quality she then made a huge deal about it said "are you gonna buy that" complained to all her employees in front of my face being extremely rude then continued to move the item to the front. I was extremely uncomfortable, I was not going to steal the item just seeing if something's that's worth 1$ but is posed as 6$ is actually worth it. Be nice to your customers lady! So rude and made me sad. I bought it out of pity then donated to their dog shelter. Her name is Tonya and whatever I bought ended up breaking, like i said not worth 6$. read more

Lovely store. Large variety of items to meet your needs. Aisles reasonable size. Came in for a large Yeti magslide lid. They have a large selection of Yeti products. I was very surprised to see some old school Necco candies here. I haven't seen those in years. I did not get any, only the Yeti lid but seeing the Necco candy weirdly made me happy. The prices here seemed reasonable. read more

Pinnacle Peak Ace Hardware - Hardware Stores Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

Was just there around a couple hours ago and ended up having a medical emergency when I was using the bathroom so I was in there for a bit waiting to get picked up. I understand they were probably trying to close and they were trying to clean the bathrooms, I get it. I used to work in this industry as well, but as I was getting ready to leave the bathroom all well I couldn't breathe and was extremely dizzy I could hear the workers outside saying they were going to kick down the door. They were men also that is completely inappropriate, completely rude and inconsiderate. All it takes is a little bit of kindness to ask if someone is OK rather than making these comments, it's unacceptable. read more

Mike, the manager was absolutely spectacular. He actually personally walked me through to find some very difficult to find hardware when I was in a pinch and even stayed open a little bit for me to make sure that I got everything that I needed. I highly recommend buying from this place and its customer service is second to none. read more

Best Ace hardware. They have great and helpful staff. If I lived closer I would go there instead of the one by my house. If I got a big project it is deffinitly worth the drive read more

I used to get better help in this store. I went to look for some specific screws. Asked for help, shorter, older guy with gray hair came. He didn't move too fast. Spent less than a minute with me and said 'we don't have those'. I said okay, looked myself and found the exact match of screws. read more

I stopped in here today to get some Mosquito Bits that I needed to tackle the annoying gnats in my house plants. I wandered in before 8am, on my way to work, and was immediately greeted and asked if I needed help. The gentleman knew exactly where my item was and pointed me in the direction. I wandered around for a few more minutes, amazed how massive this place is. I also really appreciate they are big supporters for local animal rescues. For that reason, I will be back. read more

The customer service at this store is so bad it borders on openly hostile. My wife got 5 paint samples that were clearly all the same color. When she returned to try and get the samples corrected to the 5 different colors we asked for, the employee gas lit her and performed a little experiment trying to say the samples were different and refused to help in anyway. He was condescending and cruel in a manner that goes beyond poor customer service, it lacked basic humanity. 0/10 will never step foot into an Ace ever again. read more

Very convenient. Very helpful staff. Weed prevention and theft prevention all in one location. Grabbed 1,183 ml of weed spray and 50 rounds of 9mm Blazer CCI ammo here, who knew Ace stocked ammo. Pretty cool, and the staff were super helpful. Not sure where ownership picked up the young men who work here, but their attitudes match their high level of product knowledge. Selected my ammo ($23 for brass casing factory ammo) and it was waiting up front. Got help in the pesticide aisle (sorry dude, missed your name) and checked out all in under 10 minutes. I'll be back. read more

People underestimate the small hardware store. This one is near my home and great for quick "grabs" that I wouldn't need to go to the big box store for. The customer service is outstanding and 5stars. Usually, you can find someone that can point you in the right direction every time. It's amazing how they remember what isle everything is on. It is very rare that I can't find exactly what I am looking for. If for some reason what I have bought doesn't work for my project, the return policy is very fair. read more

This is my favorite Ace Hardware. They have everything-and then some. The staff are always friendly and I can usually make a quick stop to pick up what I need and be on my way very quickly. And I love all of the "extras" they have at the front of the store- some are even made locally. I have found some nice hostess gifts here. read more

Great selection of items and found what I needed. Store is bigger and has more than you'd think! Excellent service as well!

I have seen significant improvement at this store since my last post. The employees are more welcoming, engaging, friendly, and helpful. Thank you to the owners for taking my feedback seriously and with the intent to bring a more positive experience for the shoppers. I no longer feel the need to avoid the store. Herlinda, Porter and James are particularly delightful along with a few other employees whose names I cannot remember! Keep up the great work ! read more

This isn't the biggest hardware & paint store, but it's always had what we need - everything from tools, to items to repair whatever to one of the best paint counters ever. Scott in paints deal with people like me (someone who doesn't know what they're doing!) all day but he patiently walks you through it, finds what it is your job really calls for and does it all with a smile! And the checkout ladies always have a smile and know where EVERYTHING is ! Terrific place! read more

I'd like to let Ace know about a superb experience I had this week with one of your representatives/employees Lauren Arterburn. She truly needs to be recognized. I had had an issue with the proper crediting of Ace Rewards points for a purchase of a Weber grille earlier this year, and had received no response to two emails to Ace. I then posted on the Ace FB page, asking for a response. Lauren saw my post, responded, and after some short correspondence was able to resolve the issue. I am completely satisfied and now very pleased with the Ace experience. Even more remarkable is that I live in Michigan, Lauren is co-owner at Pinnacle Peak Ace in Scottsdale, Arizona, and she still took the time and put forth the effort for this great customer service. I sincerely wish to thank her. I would unreservedly recommend and patronize this Ace store. All customer service experiences should be as pleasant and satisfactory. Thank you sincerely, Lauren. Great customer service. Worked with the owner's daughter Lauren and she went above and beyond to make things right. This place has the best customer service! I had purchased a pretty large custom order of something and It didn't work as expected. They responded so quickly, contacted the manufacturer, and promptly refunded me. It was one of the best sales experiences I've had in a long time. I've shared this story with others, and people tell me they've also been very happy with Pinnacle Peak Ace. As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of great customer service and following through. Thank you so much for going the extra mile! I recommend you to everyone. read more

I just love this Ace Hardware Store. There's always some associate there to help you with anything you're looking for. They're always very friendly. And they always have things that other stores don't seem to carry. The prices may be a little more expensive, but it's definitely worth it with the consumer care you get. Plus, If you sign up with them with your phone number, you get coupons every month which is a nice plus too. And their spray paint supply is unparalleled. Highly recommend this place. read more

This neighborhood owned Ace Hardware has been our go-to for fix-it help and items since we moved up here a year ago! Everyone at this shop cares about your success on your projects and is so happy to help! Today we were in for help replacing my car fob battery- a few weeks ago it was for replacement house keys, and before that it was for cleaning supplies and lightbulbs! I called first and found a can of paint there that was not available elsewhere. A good start for what ended up being a very pleasant experience. The clerk was very polite, helpful and professional. When I arrived he had the can. of paint out on the counter waiting for me. While he was mixing up the paint and I wandered around the store, what a extensive selection. While the big box stores still are good for some of the larger things, this place probably has just as large a selection. And to top it all it's in our neighborhood and appears to be very involved in local activities. Great experience all around! Bye bye big box stores. read more

We are very lucky to have such a great Ace Hardware so close to our home. Each visit is painless and the staff is willing to assist with whatever questions we have. Thank you for being a great Ace Hardware! read more

I have frequented this Ace Hardware near my workplace hundreds of times in the last couple of decades. While I fully understand the current retail workplace environment is trying, not honoring my $20 off frequent buyer coupon just because I forgot I had it in my pocket and you'd already ran my credit card Is troubling to say the least. I would've been more than willing to stand aside in line and wait until the young gentleman at the counter had a chance to re-ring my items, but apparently that was not an option. I Didn't feel like arguing with him as there were people behind me in line. I'm super disappointed with my neighborhood Ace Hardware store :( Edit: I was contacted by management and was assured that this was an isolated incident. The cashier involved doesn't normally work the register and was apparently unaware he had options to help me out. Kudos to the store's management for resolving this so quickly! read more

I genuinely like ACE Hardware. They are kind of pricey so I use the coupons they mail me monthly so that helps. I used a 15% off coupon on $356 of Christmas Light decorations. I handed Tom the cashier the coupon and he rung me up. I thought the total was high so I checked my receipt at my car because the store was packed (Black Friday) and didn't want to hold up the line. Didn't see the 15% off anywhere on receipt. Went back inside but Tom had just left and a new cashier was dealing with pricing issue so I saw Lauren in the paint department. She said it's hard to tell if a discount has been applied so she tabulated the ticket to see if coupon was applied or not. No 15% off. She refunded the first charge and added 15% and recharded the same debit card. Next morning I have to pay some bills I'm short $356. I have 2 debits from ACE but no credit. So I called ACE and a lady informed me that it could take 3 to 7 business days to credit back the money. I can understand that for a credit purchase. I used debit. I said that doesn't sound right. No acknowledgement of my inconvenience just "Is there anything else I can help you with today" I felt like saying glad you & ACE Hardware will sleep well tonight. Thanks for the response Lauren. I appreciate your fast reply. I bumped the review up 2 star because of you. I appreciated the time you spent fixing the original problem. If I knew my debit card credit would take up to 7 day I would have used my Visa. Also, did Tom know the coupon didn't go thru? He could have fixed it. Lastly I wish I got the name of the lady I spoke to on the phone. Had she shown a ounce of empathy I would have just chalked it up as lesson learned on my end. Thanks again. read more
