What a relief it was to have someone like Heidi helping me out from start to finish. The job turned out to be a little bigger than I expected. But Heidi was super helpful, dependable, and flexible. This work involved not only doing some leftover packing, but working with the movers, storage location, and the cleaning service. Cannot imagine how challenging and nerve-racking this all could have been had I ended up having to work with someone else, or more likely - a few someone-elses :) Heidi kept me up to date each step of the way with texts and photos when appropriate. She provided me with detailed invoices so I knew exactly what I was paying for. And most importantly to me, she reached out when questions arose - which was inevitable with this type of situation. Everything is now completely done. My belongings are safely stored. My apartment was left in great condition - and my previous property managers are happy. Not sure what the word or phrase is for something far better than a "job well done", but that's how I would describe my experience working with Heidi. Zero hesitation recommending her services to anyone in need of a reliable and trustworthy person to help out.

I have a little IGTV show, and she was cool with being a part of it. We cleaned one side of my SUPER cluttered closet. And she gave me homework to work on the other sides. She would hand me boxes, I'd go through them and separate into shred, donate, garbage, recycle, or keep, and hand them back and we worked like that for the entire 3 hours. It's been maybe a month since she came and that side of my closet still looks like the day she left. It's kinda weird to have a stranger come into your house and help you go through your clutter, but just remember, they are there to help, not to judge. I'm only giving 4 stars because I sent a message saying I wanted her to come back and I just never heard back from them anymore. I'm thinking my place was probably tooooooo much of a cluster for her. EEK!!!

I'm not going to pay someone $65 per hour to purge my closet and organize my 250 sq. studio. I found SOS on Yelp. The 5-star reviews seemed questionable but after my experience, they deserve them! I started with a 3-hour appointment with Callie. She's an absolute doll. I am amazed by her creative organizing solutions! We went through my walk-in closet and kitchen. It helps to help. I couldn't just sit back and watch her organize my belongings. It can be tedious, but it's worth it! We accomplished A LOT. I couldn't have done it without her. I just don't have the motivation or drive. I can see my floor again! I found my favorite sweater! Everything makes sense now! I love, love, LOVE how organized my apartment is. I am so happy I found SOS and met Callie! I finally got it done! Plus: It feels nice coming home now.

Would recommend Lora to anyone trying to overhaul their wardrobe and style!…read more We did a full day cleanse, picked out new clothes custom to what we went over in a phone consultation, and styled current and new pieces into a look book for me to have to make decisions easy every morning. I now have an effortless wardrobe from a judgement free, positive, and professional point of view. She made it fun, educational, and custom to what I was looking for with no salesy approach. I had always wanted to go through a process like this and now it's a no brainer to build in regular check-ins with Lora to adjust my wardrobe to my style as it grows. Really priceless to always be confident in how I present myself.

I actually love to shop and do a little too much of it, although in recent years find myself…read moreshopping more for my kids than myself. A few years ago we had my daughter's bat mitzvah and I found the most difficult task of the weekend was coordinating all the wardrobes for the entire family. And finding a dress for myself when the department stores carry so little these days was impossible. And now my son's is coming up and the thought of doing it all again was daunting! I decided what we needed was a personal stylist and I turned to Yelp for help. I came across these glowing reviews for Lora and emailed her right away. She wrote back within minutes and being someone who really values responsiveness I loved her immediately. We set up a call to go over all the details. Our initial call involved me telling her about all the weekend events, what the kids wanted to wear/not wear (my 14 year old daughter can be especially particular) and describing what the decor of the party would look like. I followed up with pictures of what we wore a few years ago to my daughter's bat mitzvah, as well as sample decor for my son's upcoming bar mitzvah. Lora sent me all the info for her pricing, which seemed fair and well worth it. To be fair I would probably spend more shipping back returns since many of these stores (ahem saks) don't do returns for free these days. We then set up a day for her to come style the entire family, but decided she would start with me...and then we could figure out everyone else's outfits around mine. Styling day arrived and Lora showed up with suitcases filled of beautiful clothes. She nicely kicked me out of my room and set them all up. There were a lot of clothes and accessories (shoes, jewelry, pocket squares, etc), but again this was for 3 events for a family of 5. She had some beautiful dresses for me, but there were 3 very clear winners: one for the friday night dinner, one for the service and another for the party. All were dresses I likely wouldn't have picked out myself and she helped me figure out what the service dress would look like once my seamstress was able to shorten it to the perfect length. We also decided the party dress would be better at midi length. While I took the longest, I was one of her easier clients because then she met my husband who hates nothing more than trying on clothes. Fortunately, she had it all laid out for him to make it as easy as possible, but he did his fair share of grunting as he tried on one outfit after another. And my daughter was even more difficult. The first party dress she tried on couldn't have been more perfect, but wasn't what she had in her mind originally so it took a few weeks of trying on more dresses (that I bought on my own) before she admitted that one of Lora's picks really was perfect. My boys were pretty easy, but are in major growth spurt mode so she needed to send clothes in different sizes. One of the best things about Lora is that she does all the returns for you, which saves a lot of time. Lora took pics of everything before she left and a week after sent me a lookbook for each outfit, which will be so helpful when I'm organizing everything for the big weekend. She also send me links for everything else we needed for the big day (ex: clutch for me, suits in bigger sizes for my boys, etc). And thanks to Lora I think every member of my family has outfits, shoes AND accessories for all 3 events that weekend. I can't wait to post pics of it all after the big weekend and I'm even more excited to do a everyday styling session with Lora after the bar mitzvah is done. She also does closet organization so can't wait to use her for that as well!

I had an inkling it might sell quickly when the contractors came back to finish up after the unit had been staged and they didn't recognize the place they'd been renovating for months. Then I saw the *spectacular* listing photos and I wanted to buy the place all over again! The buyer loved everything so much they asked if they could buy all the furnishings (everything you see in the photos is from PS Lehman). I know the staging played an outsized role in making this too-good-to-be-true deal actually true! I couldn't be more grateful to the team at PS Lehman - from the very first contact and every step along the way until the unit was empty - they took all the stress out of every step and helped me get a result I never imagined. If you are thinking of hiring them to stage your home - do not delay! I could not recommend them more highly.

Brooke, Kim and the NEAT Chicago team helped me during a recent move to organize my "big problem areas" (my words, not theirs) - kitchen, bathroom and entry closet. My previous space *looked* organized, but was really very haphazardly stored - suffice to say, like items were often not with like items, and it resulted in a lot of duplication and chaos. I also was coming off of several years of heavy business travel - resulting in a disaster of a toiletry situation. Tiny. Bottles and Samples. Errrrywhere. Kim and her team spent one blissful Friday basically fixing my life: they arrived in the morning, spent some time talking through my needs/wants/life/perceived problem areas, and then they got to work and I went off to handle bridesmaids duties for a friend's wedding. Eight hours later, I came home from the rehearsal dinner to a choir of imaginary angels singing the moment I opened my front door... Everything had a logical and easily accessible home! I could find things again! They removed some duplicates at my request and donated them, which was a helpful time-saver for me, and left some other duplicates (mainly travel toiletries) in a great new system so I can see, access and use the products I have - and never get into the chaos of my previous situation ever again. If you are even remotely considering hiring them (which I'd imagine you are, since you're here and reading this), do it now. It's absolutely worth the investment, and I'm already brainstorming what other areas of my life they could improve - I'll 100% be using them again.

We were sold on the location which was very close to where she was previously living by herself and the proximity to the lake and Andersonville. While she began to settle in OK during the first year in assisted living as her Alzheimer's progressed, so did the care she received. My mother was an incredibly intelligent and social woman. She was a retired college professor and maintained her intellect and curiosity throughout the course of her awful disease. The majority of the staff at The Admiral however, was unsupportive of her desire to understand her care, meet people and engage in the community. They ultimately forced her into memory care too soon where she was locked on the floor and left to sit either alone in her room or parked in front a TV. All she wanted was to continue to engage with people and use her mind and they could not provide that basic care. After several months of rapid decline in memory care the staff kept referring to her as psychotic even though all of her doctors at Northwestern repeatedly agreed that her symptoms were all related to her dementia. The Admiral went against my wishes and had her sent to Saint Mary's Hospital (outside of her network of doctors at NW) where she spent 3 nights alone in the ER and then was involuntary committed to the psychiatric ward where she spent 2 weeks completely catatonic. She never recovered. I was able to finally get her released through no help of the Admiral and had her moved to The Artis Lakeview where she received excellent care alongside Bristol hospice for the last 1.5 weeks of her life. The Admiral may appear on a tour as it did to us a lovely lakeside facility, but when your loved ones actually need real care towards the end of their disease they will accelerate the decline and refuse to provide the grueling care many people need in the last stages of dementia. Do yourself a favor and ask to tour the memory care floor before you move your loved one here. Really look at how the residents are cared for and ask how they stay engaged. It's a tiny floor and you will find them all staring blankly at a TV or hiding in their rooms.
