As they say, 3rd time's a charm so when I contacted MOOvers, I was so grateful that they had availability for Friday morning. The day of the move, Victor called me to let me know that they were 15 minutes away. Victor and Greg were simply amazing! My mom, sister and I tried to finish up by putting everything in boxes and the guys just had to tape and load the boxes. After our move I mistakenly thought an item was left on a truck. My son and I went over to the business and asked if it might be in their lost and found. A manager, maybe the owner, generously showed us the area where lost items might be, he walked us around the facility, and gave my son a hat and sweatshirt! When we didn't locate the item, he gave us a card an offered to cover the cost for replacement. We didn't need it because, of course, I made the mistake and misplaced the box in the attic. Trust the reviews - these guys are fantastic. We moved 45 mins away. They were flexible on dates, offered a reasonable price, and the estimate was exactly what we paid at the end of the day. The most impressive part was that they moved our whole 2-bedroom apartment into our new house in under 8 hours. They arrived at 8am, had the whole place packed and loaded by 1pm, and unloaded and reassembled furniture in exactly the right places in our new home by 4:30pm. We were so impressed - nothing was damaged or broken, so we didn't even need the extra insurance we purchased. They were very careful with our items (we had a lot of glassware, stemmed wine glasses, porcelain and stoneware dish sets, electronics, etc.) and very heavy (iron frame solid wood) furniture. My desk set must weigh 250 pounds at least, and they had no trouble getting it disassembled, reassembled, up and down and stairs. These guys made moving SO EASY. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. I moved in March of 2023 and have to say this company, its management and staff are BEYOND STELLAR! I called and spoke with Moses- the owner and he asked me for my moving date and we spoke about the amount of things that needed to be moved, the time frame to move from one place to another including the reservations of moving out elevators versus moving in elevators. He gave me a reliable quote. On the day of the move Moses assured me that the driver of the moving truck was also the Foreman in charge of the move. Felipe Vazquez was the Foreman for Moovers Chicago, Inc. Felipe was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, thoughtful and efficient. He was "hands on" in all activities including supervising Wilian and Brayan. All three Moovers members worked together and were careful and thoughtful about shrink wrapping, filling boxes and taping them up carefully. I am very thankful to Moovers Chicago, Inc. for making this move stress free. I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Very strange: first, the yelp phone number answers in a different business name. When you call the number on their website, you get transferred to what sounds like the yelp number. After waiting, you have to deal with an AI voice (that doesn't tell you it's AI at first) that intakes your information, confirms your phone number, and says they'll get back to you. They didn't get back to me either that day or the next. read more

Front Office: 3 Stars Edgar & Moving Crew: 5 Stars, maybe even 6 Stars My wife had reached out to several moving companies to get estimates for our move from our Chicago condo to our new home in the suburbs. There was quite a bit of back and forth with the front office to come to an agreement on a rate and quote of charges for a move which was frustrating and almost had us going with a different moving company. Eventually we were able to come to an agreement on an hourly rate and some miscellaneous items that we thought would need special care and booked with Moovers. Come the day of moving, Edgar and crew gave us a heads up call and arrived on time and got to work right away. I have to commend them on their efficiency and handling our stuff with care. Our move ended up only taking 5 hours opposed to the original 10 hours or so that we had been quoted. Pretty fantastic as you do get charged hourly. Once they had finished unloading the last item. Edgar walked us through the proposal charges in detail and worked with us to dispute unnecessary charges for a 2nd truck which wasn't used and packing material for our dining table which should have been just charged for a standard 60 inch round table and materials. Talk about honest and detail oriented. Edgar's leadership and transparency made for a very smooth and efficient moving day. While I didn't particularly care for dealing with front office and management, I really hope they consider moving Edgar into the front office or manager position at some point in the future. They could really use someone that is clear in communication and could probably do a much better job of providing a more accurate quote. Anyhow, I would definitely consider and recommend using Moovers specifically for Edgar and his team. That's all I got on this one. 'Til next time, cheers! read more

They thought of everything from labeling boxes, to keeping hardware with furniture, to using up our recycled packing materials before new boxes that they brought.
