I hired Pay Less Moving for a move into a new construction. Their quote was very competitive in comparison to others I received and I saw that they were highly rated. Even though my closing date was pushed back, they were flexible and had no issues with that as long as I notified them as far in advance as I could. My move involved moving items from a storage unit and my current home into the new home. Mauro and his team arrived two minutes early and were so incredibly efficient. They took a look at the storage unit and told me they would have it cleared out in 45 minutes. This was surprising to me since the moving company that moved us into the storage unit took at least double that amount of time. Their method was so much faster and they were done in 40 minutes. When they got to my new home, they were very careful not to scratch the floors or damage anything. They were communicative and respectful and finished the job earlier than expected. At the very end they had me look around to make sure everything was in the right room and, if not, they moved it. All I can is wow. I had a three week move in window and called 4 moving company's that all had good Yelp reviews. All seem nice and we're able to hit my move in window. I called Payless last and when they sent me their quote, it was by far the most competitive. I called Jesse at Payless to make sure everything was included and no hidden fees( packaging, truck miles, etc.,) and he said no, everything was included. So I went with them and they did an incredible job and worked really hard. His crew were professional and honest. They had new padded blankets and wrapped everything super tight and fully protected. Had some expensive mirrors and other stuff and nothing got broken. They were beasts and worker ants. Just kept going and got my move done super quick. Couldn't be happier plus nothing was stolen (like my previous mover). They have earned my business as they were professional, early and by far the most competitive price. Amazing! Efficient, reliable and high quality. I used this company for my move out (pack into storage containers) and move in (emptied storage containers) out in Wheaton, IL. They are the best. I had another company quote me and the other company said the job would take 5 hrs both ways with 4 workers. Payless did the job well in 3 hours for the pack up and 2 hrs for the unload. They actually showed up way early & I wasn't really prepared, but they were nice and told me they could wait until the scheduled time, which they did! They then came in & cleaned out my whole apt. super fast. They even wrapped my furniture & rugs. There were 3 guys & I think it took about an hour & a half from start to finish. I was just moving into a studio not too far away, but I had too much stuff. The guys were nice, they worked very hard & they were quick, even though I was moving into a 3rd floor walkup and it was a brutally hot day (I felt so bad for them!) They also wore masks, which was appreciated. The cost was more than reasonable & theirs was the best price I found (and I got a lot of quotes!) They drove safely on the expressway while transporting my items to storage and were even considerate with caring for my items by wrapping them in shrink wrap. I hired them for a complicated move from the North Shore (from office, storage, and home) to a property in West Town. I also had a brand new impressionable 3 month old puppy who was in a free-flowing, no crate environment. They came in and carefully wrapped all of my West Elm, Crate and Barrel, RH, and other furnishings and my mattress. The owner himself wrapped all of my art frames. They were so amazing my father offered them refreshments and I bought them lunch.
