Pay less moving was 10/10! The quote was competitive to other moving companies I had looked at but I'm so glad I went with them. Mauro & his team were on time, efficient, and got the move done in an hour less than expected. The whole team was very friendly, respectful, and truly took all stress out of the day. I would use them again no question, thank you!! read more

I hired Pay Less Moving for a move into a new construction. Their quote was very competitive in comparison to others I received and I saw that they were highly rated. Even though my closing date was pushed back, they were flexible and had no issues with that as long as I notified them as far in advance as I could. My move involved moving items from a storage unit and my current home into the new home. Mauro and his team arrived two minutes early and were so incredibly efficient. They took a look at the storage unit and told me they would have it cleared out in 45 minutes. This was surprising to me since the moving company that moved us into the storage unit took at least double that amount of time. Their method was so much faster and they were done in 40 minutes. When they got to my new home, they were very careful not to scratch the floors or damage anything. They were communicative and respectful and finished the job earlier than expected. At the very end they had me look around to make sure everything was in the right room and, if not, they moved it. They were fantastic and I would definitely recommend them to friends and hire them again! read more

They are seriously the best movers in Chicago! I've used them twice now! They're fast and super affordable! They don't dilly dally like other movers and have moved my stuff within 2 hours. Mauro is super responsive and really friendly! If you're looking for movers, definitely need to check them out! read more

Fabulous experience working with Mauro and his team. They were right on time and kept a positive attitude through what was a grueling day with many stops. Started at 8am and didnt stop moving heavy furniture until 6pm yet maintained a smile the whole time. They were careful not to damage anything and even took apart and reconstructed a treadmill to make it fit in a tight stairwell. They were also about $900 cheaper than the next lowest quote I received. Absolutely highly recommend read more

I love this moving company! These guys were great! They showed up promptly and moved me quickly! They go the extra mile and they are very professional. They didn't just stop at dropping stuff off but actually took the time to set up the furniture and that makes a huge difference for when you are just moving in and need to settle in and have a liveable space. The whole move was organized and efficient. I would highly recommend this team because they actually care and they provide a personable and friendly moving service. read more

Do yourself a favor and just hire these guys!! We were referred to Pay Less Moving by a friend of ours that had a great experience. They were cheaper than anyone else we called and when the time came, extremely fast and efficient. What really sold us on how amazing they were was that the efficiency in loading the truck was unlike anything we've seen. They were economical with space, particularly since our truck was a little too small. If it weren't for how well they organized everything we would've been extremely S.O.L. Moving is always stressful but they are 1,000% worth every penny we paid. Thank you guys so much!! read more

We hired these guys based on a Facebook referral and we are very happy. They were responsive on my initial contact, pricing was clear and obvious, and they were able to schedule quickly. I had them move a full truckload into a storage locker. They showed up on time, called in advance to let me know they were on their way, and showed up ready to work. They hustled through the work, and were friendly and professional. They got the job done quicker than I thought they would. I could have moved the stuff myself but I am so happy I hired them. 100% would hire them again. read more

My friend recommended Payless Moving to me and so happy she did! They were great! I just did an around the corner move and they made it so easy and took great care in wrapping up certain items and being careful with my things. I had questions prior to my move and Mauro was so responsive and friendly over email. I had 4 guys and you could tell they know what they are doing when it comes to packing and moving. This was the first time I moved where I wasn't stressed out! Thank you so much! I highly highly recommend PayLess moving if you have to move in the Chicago area! read more

I have moved several times and I can honestly say pay less moving is the best moving crew I have ever had. They showed up early, not only worked efficiently but handled my furniture with the utmost care. I moved during a rainstorm and they covered everything so well that nothing got wet. The whole crew was kind, courteous and professional. I would highly recommend pay less moving. read more

This was one of the best moving experiences I have ever had due to Payless Moving. From the initial phone call up until the end of the move Mauro was extremely helpful. I want to highlight the quote given was nearly 50 percent cheaper than other moving companies and the service exceeded my expectations. Mauro and his team arrived at my door on time and prepared. They moved quickly and efficiently while still being extremely gentle with my items. They took apart my furniture and put it back together in my new place for an even quicker and safer move! And even when we ran in to a slight hiccup in fitting my couch through my old apartment's door, they handled the situation with great patience. Overall they were extremely professional and personable and had a positive and helpful attitude throughout the entire move. It took them just about shy of 2 hrs to move my 700 SQFT apartment which is quickest and most efficient I have ever experienced! Would recommend over and over again-- can't wait to use them again for my next move. Thanks Pay Less Moving, Thanks Mauro + Team! read more

Jesse and his team were beyond phenomenal. They were punctual, efficient and courteous. They moved my stuff from two different locations and then brought it up four flights in hot weather finishing in 4.5 hours. If you are planning to move these are the guys that will get the job done. read more

After calling a few moving companies, PLM was the first to promptly return my call. Jesse gave me a quote over the phone and was friendly and courteous. The price was about 50$ less than other companies I called. The movers were on time and worked quickly. PLM also included wardrobe boxes for my clothes, wrapping and padding for free! They also helped with disassembling and re assembling pieces of my furniture. Jesse, Fabian, and Miquel did an excellent job and I highly recommend. read more

These guys are fast! They were puntual and extremely careful with all of my furniture and personal belongings. They called me 10min before arriving and wasted no time. These guys were extremely efficient and professional. I used them twice in two years and was thoroughly satisfied both times. They were also about a third cheaper than other companies quoted me. read more

I wish I could give these guys 10 stars! Recommended by my best friend, they helped me with a local move on a rainy, cold November day. They moved me from an elevator access building into a 3 story walk up and the process / end result far exceed any expectation. Pros: - clear prompt communication from start to finish - transparent pricing - incredibly fast (especially given having to haul all my stuff up 3 flights of stairs) - handled my furniture / fragile items / mirrors with EXPERT care - disassembled / reassembled furniture correctly - really nice people (they helped me look for my cat when I thought she escaped) - the most cost effective movers ever Cons - none. Literally none. I have used other movers for both local and long distance moves and have never had such a good experience. Recommend all the way! read more

This team is the best. I have used them 2 times and will again, if/when I move again. Mauricio and his team have everything you want in a mover; efficient, careful, considerate, helpful, accurate, kind and friendly. In my last move (August 2019) was wonderful. NOTHING was broken, and everything got done very very quickly. I am still unpacking (two weeks later) and I still have not found any damage or breakage. ALSO zero gouges on walls etc. I highly recommend this team for your next move. Ping me if you have questions. thanks!!! read more

Moving is literally the most challenging thing that anyone can go through. Especially when it comes to planning - I recently moved and I hired another company to move me and they cancelled the day of the moved. I was livid because it was planned a month out. I was scrambling to find movers and I found Pay Less Moving. They literally showed up within the hour and move entire 3 bedroom apartment in 4.5 hours. The crew - Fabian, Marco and I apologize I can't remember the last person but they were professional efficient and handled all of my items with care. They were amazing and truly saved the day. If you need someone to move you Pay less Moving is your team! Highly recommend them! read more

Superb service from Jesse and the rest of the crew, the work fast and are very friendly, look for a moving company no more, this is it, can't beat the price either!! Gracias muchachos!! read more

All I can is wow. I had a three week move in window and called 4 moving company's that all had good Yelp reviews. All seem nice and we're able to hit my move in window. I called Payless last and when they sent me their quote, it was by far the most competitive. I called Jesse at Payless to make sure everything was included and no hidden fees( packaging, truck miles, etc.,) and he said no, everything was included. So I went with them and they did an incredible job and worked really hard. His crew were professional and honest. They had new padded blankets and wrapped everything super tight and fully protected. Had some expensive mirrors and other stuff and nothing got broken. They were beasts and worker ants. Just kept going and got my move done super quick. Couldn't be happier plus nothing was stolen (like my previous mover). They have earned my business as they were professional, early and by far the most competitive price. I will use them for all my future moves. Give them a shot as you won't be disappointed. read more

Amazing! Efficient, reliable and high quality. I used this company for my move out (pack into storage containers) and move in (emptied storage containers) out in Wheaton, IL. They are the best. I had another company quote me and the other company said the job would take 5 hrs both ways with 4 workers. Payless did the job well in 3 hours for the pack up and 2 hrs for the unload. It was great work too. They wrap, help take down, unwrap and put together furniture (cribs, couches, tables etc). Look no where else. Payless is the way to go! read more

These guys moved me last month & they were awesome! They actually showed up way early & I wasn't really prepared, but they were nice and told me they could wait until the scheduled time, which they did! They then came in & cleaned out my whole apt. super fast. They even wrapped my furniture & rugs. There were 3 guys & I think it took about an hour & a half from start to finish. I was just moving into a studio not too far away, but I had too much stuff. The guys were nice, they worked very hard & they were quick, even though I was moving into a 3rd floor walkup and it was a brutally hot day (I felt so bad for them!) They also wore masks, which was appreciated. The cost was more than reasonable & theirs was the best price I found (and I got a lot of quotes!) So look no further, just hire them & you won't be sorry! read more

I would move with these guys all over again! My interactions with the office staff for a quote and reservation were prompt and courteous. The day of the move, I got a phone call when the guys were close, and they even showed up a little early! I dont have a large space so it took them 4 hours start to finish but it was also a short time because they worked their butts off! The movers were polite, Cautious, and professional. We were very pleased. read more

These guys came out on a Sunday morning and arrived early, worked very quickly and were professional. They drove safely on the expressway while transporting my items to storage and were even considerate with caring for my items by wrapping them in shrink wrap. When we arrived at the storage unit which appeared to be smaller than expected they managed to pack all of my items in neatly with room to spare. I would definitely recommend giving them a call for your moving needs! read more

I received a recommendation to work with Pay Less from a Chicago Moms Facebook page. The moms were raving about how professional and quick and careful they were. I hired them for a complicated move from the North Shore (from office, storage, and home) to a property in West Town. I also had a brand new impressionable 3 month old puppy who was in a free-flowing, no crate environment. They came in and carefully wrapped all of my West Elm, Crate and Barrel, RH, and other furnishings and my mattress. The owner himself wrapped all of my art frames. They were so amazing my father offered them refreshments and I bought them lunch. I didn't even have to say careful! because they were already mindful of my puppy with the open doors and shoes and everything. Later, I called the owner for help with hanging my art which they did superbly. 6 months later, I used them again. And now that I am moving to a brand new home, I have already reserved a date after my closing. Honestly, these guys are super reliable, punctual, careful, and I would highly recommend them. read more

Jesse and his crew arrived on time and completed the job as expected. I hired them to move our stuff from a condo to UPack/ABF terminal. They did a great job to place & secure our belongings in 2 Relo-cubes for long distance move. I liked the fact that they were young yet very experienced and courteous. Also their minimum charge is 2 hours. Highly recommend. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We needed CHEAP movers and after some research, they were definitely the cheapest option and also happened to be very speedy in response. They were polite and very communicative throughout the process, which really put them above some other companies we were considering. Now the move: The guys showed up half an hour early! They didn't start billing me for time until after they had walked into the apartment and I had given them the rundown of what was being moved and what stayed. They worked so hard and so fast, we finished the move in only 3 hours instead of the estimated 4! They took a lot of care in wrapping my mattresses, and did not charge me for the extra plastic wrap they had to use and the extra small box for transporting the last of the things I hadn't managed to pack myself. I was VERY stressed about this move and they made it a walk in the park. read more

I've moved at least ten times and this was one of the best moving experiences I've had and their price can't be beat. I worked with Mauro and he was incredibly responsive. He responded once 4 hours later to an email I sent and he apologized for the delay. I was surprised when the quote came in because it was significantly cheaper than ones from other companies. Day of the move, they communicated with me early on around arrival time, arrived on time, and got the job done well. They were also very friendly the entire time. I will definitely book them for my next move and I'm telling all of my friends about them for their moves. read more
