I discovered Keep It Up Moving within Yelp projects. These movers are one of the only movers that have a promp online inquiry response. They're also happy to provide a quote (not to be set in stone) versus insisting that you call them first. They were also reasonable. My entire interaction was online. Though there were doubts if they would show up...like clockwork Keep It Up was at my home. They make sure to provide reminders a day in advance. They also let you know their expected arrival when they depart from their facility. When it comes to the moving itself, two nice gentlemen did the job well. It took 7 hours and two rounds. There was an extra charge for our sleeper sofa, based on it's weight. It is important to note that their fees include disassembly and reassembly of furniture. We had sooo much random stuff and we weren't able to box it all. Per our request, the movers took almost everything we pointed at. I did a lot of moving when I still had hair on my head. It was nice to have the pros handle everything for a change. I'm so done with moving. It is so taxing, especially when you've been in one place for so long. But if you must, then Keep It Up is highly recommended by me. read more

Not sure WTH happened. The owner answered all of my initial questions and I asked to reserve date, no response so I sent him a message through Yelp BTW, and he said it was just missed. Ok. I'm an understanding person so I continued to look elsewhere but also continued to keep this company on my list due to 5 star reviews. After all of my research, it lead me back to Keep it Up but unfortunately once again, when I requested the date and time I needed, no response and communication ended once again so I went elsewhere. That was not acceptable to me . One time, I could see but twice now. Absolutely not! Just saying!!!! UPDATE AFTER OWNER REPLIED TO REVIEW and TRIED TO MAKE AMENDS: While the owner has repeatedly tried to contact me since my review and last communication to him, and repeatedly apologize, I had already made other arrangements and as I explained to the owner....he provided a quote and 2/3 days later I requested to reserve a moving date for the second time and then it was 9 days later that I patiently waited for a response. All while booking with someone else of course!!!! In my line of work, if I didn't respond to emails or follow up to correspondence after 9 days, I WOULD BE FIRED. One time, I was willing to overlook but not twice. It shouldn't matter what's going on in your or any business, check your emails and follow up with customers/clients or better yet the ones that you want as a client especially after you just provided numerous emails of information and a quote!!! this is business nothing personal! read more

Arthur was a complete professional from the start of my project to the finish. Although they are busy, he offered several dates and times for my appointment and I was able To schedule right away. I messed up and forgot several items on my list but they were happy to move The additional items. We had a one day move from a 2 bedroom Condo to a single family house with one elevator at the condo. We had two movers come to assist. They came early to on time. They were cordial, professional, and efficient. They didn't really take a break too much, working pretty hard. Everything was wrapped pretty well with shrink wrapped, some blankets were added to some more fragile items, and moved with roller carts. We did have one leg of our couch come off, which they fixed on the spot. We also had some small chips to a wooden bed frame and entrance bench despite the care taken. They are small, but still apparent. The cost was about what was quoted and a pretty fair price, very competitive compared to others. All in all, we are pretty satisfied with their job, and I would recommend them, despite some small damages. read more

This Monday (2/5), Anthony and Mike came help us move. They were super nice, clean, and efficient. They came early on time. The layout of our apartment makes the moving a bit tough that they had to walk much longer to get to the truck parking. We were at the 3rd floor, 4 corner-turns to get to the elevator, and downstairs to the back door parking. They quickly identified everything and made plans on which go on the truck first. They had it done so quickly. We had queen-sized mattress, bed frame, book shelf, dining table, desk and chair, 2 standing lamps, and even a large electronic cat litter box, and an electric piano. They wrapped everything so well with pads and clear wraps. Once we got to the new place, everything was unloaded in about 40 minutes. Very impressive!! I don't even have time to take photo. LOL They did such an excellent job!! The booking with Arthur was very responsive. The rate is way affordable comparing to other movers that I called. I listed most major items when I contacted him. I guess it helps the estimate on time and price. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend! read more

Perfect, professional, and punctual. I have done 17 moves in my Air Force career and I wish these guys were available for each one. For starters the materials moved were extraordinarily fragile. I sent a picture of them the day before and they called me and discussed how they were going to move it! Additionally I was only able to provide them with 12 hours notice and they still came through with meticulous attention to detail they moved my fragile crates weighing over 500 pounds flawlessly.
