I can highly recommend everyone to request Victor for one of your movers. He was quick & efficient. Victor is smart & handled my belongings with care. I do not recommend the mover named Alex. He was lazy, he tossed boxes that were clearly labeled "fragile". Alex was also defensive when I asked him to place the large heavy boxes at the bottom and place lighter items on top To prevent my items from getting crushed. Alex would then bad mouth me to Victor in another language, Russian, I think. He was as lazy & rude. But Victor was amazing & very professional! I regret that I gave Alex any cash tip. Dan and Mike were absolutely fantastic throughout our POD pick up / load for our move to San Diego! From start to finish, they were professional, friendly, incredibly helpful, and made what could have been a stressful moving day feel completely seamless. Dan and Mike were also extremely communicative which I deeply value, since moving is such a stressful thing. They handled everything with care, worked efficiently, and went above and beyond to make sure all of our things were loaded with care. They were done within the HOUR. We had a one bedroom (and a LOT of stuff) and Dan and Mike were able to fit our things in an 8 x 8 pod. We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better moving experience. I discovered Keep It Up Moving within Yelp projects. These movers are one of the only movers that have a promp online inquiry response. They're also happy to provide a quote (not to be set in stone) versus insisting that you call them first. They were also reasonable. My entire interaction was online. Though there were doubts if they would show up...like clockwork Keep It Up was at my home. They make sure to provide reminders a day in advance. They also let you know their expected arrival when they depart from their facility. When it comes to the moving itself, two nice gentlemen did the job well. It took 7 hours and two rounds. There was an extra charge for our sleeper sofa, based on it's weight. It is important to note that their fees include disassembly and reassembly of furniture. We had sooo much random stuff and we weren't able to box it all. Per our request, the movers took almost everything we pointed at. I did a lot of moving when I still had hair on my head. It was nice to have the pros handle everything for a change. I'm so done with moving. It is so taxing, especially when you've been in one place for so long. But if you must, then Keep It Up is highly recommended by me. read more

We moved out of our home into pods in April, then from pods into a rental in May, and had an amazing experience with Keep It Up. Gave 5 star reviews on Google. The workers were amazing. We found a home and reached out to the contact I had, and requested a date and time. They confirmed via text and asked me to send my inventory at some point. I reached out a few days later and asked where to send the inventory, because the first time we moved, I did it online, and the 2nd time, I wasn't asked to do inventory at all. A few days later, they provided an email and I sent my items. In reality, they have moved us recently and they likely have our list in their system. When I tried to confirm via text 5 days before our move, no response. I then tried to call, sent to voicemail. About an hour later I got an email response to my inventory list telling me they can't move us that day, and can we move another day? I replied no - as we need to be out of our rental. I suggested they could come earlier in the morning and explained we already moved much of our stuff and it should be a quick move. No response at this point to any calls, texts or emails. We were truly SUCH raving fans. Told everyone we knew about them! But leaving us in a panic 5 days before our move is horrible. I understand making an administrative mistake, but if that happens you can't then ignore calls, texts, and emails, especially after we have used them TWICE already in the last 5 months. The two young men who moved my granddaughter from Deerfield to Chicago did an amazing job. We also asked them to install a TV to a special stand since she couldn't mount the TV & this stand allowed her to place her 50' TV on her dresser in her studio apartment. It turned out even though the apartment number was supposedly on the second floor, it was considered the third floor. They worked extra hard since they thought it was on the second floor. It made the move harder but they did not complain & charged me an extra fee that was well worth it. read more

Not sure WTH happened. The owner answered all of my initial questions and I asked to reserve date, no response so I sent him a message through Yelp BTW, and he said it was just missed. Ok. I'm an understanding person so I continued to look elsewhere but also continued to keep this company on my list due to 5 star reviews. After all of my research, it lead me back to Keep it Up but unfortunately once again, when I requested the date and time I needed, no response and communication ended once again so I went elsewhere. That was not acceptable to me . One time, I could see but twice now. Absolutely not! Just saying!!!! UPDATE AFTER OWNER REPLIED TO REVIEW and TRIED TO MAKE AMENDS: While the owner has repeatedly tried to contact me since my review and last communication to him, and repeatedly apologize, I had already made other arrangements and as I explained to the owner....he provided a quote and 2/3 days later I requested to reserve a moving date for the second time and then it was 9 days later that I patiently waited for a response. All while booking with someone else of course!!!! In my line of work, if I didn't respond to emails or follow up to correspondence after 9 days, I WOULD BE FIRED. One time, I was willing to overlook but not twice.
