We had Chicagoland moving and storage do a full pack and move with overnight storage for our 3 story townhouse in Chicago to the western burbs. I was extremely nervous beforehand because moving is already stressful enough but when you have a bad moving company it can be a nightmare. Fortunately this was not the case and it was the best move experience we've had! The company properly assessed the job (in person) and sent the right amount of men and truck space. Our crew was led by Tito and the team was so fast and efficient on both move out and move in day. I never saw any of the guys taking a single break. Then all of our stuff arrived safely without anything broken! They also took such great care of both our home we were moving out of and the new house. The team took the time to blow grass away from the entry to not bring it into the house, they also even put pads(that they had) on the bottom of furniture pieces after assembling to protect our new floors. I cannot say enough good things, made moving much less stressful with a baby, kid and dog!

They protected our floors which we highly appreciated

Excellent service and they really cared for our belonging and where exactly to move them. The 5 guys (Diego's team) worked like machines for 7 hours. At one point (towards the end) I wanted something moved to a different area and they didn't bat an eye. I can not thank them enough for doing such a wonderful job. The cost equated the value as their service was top notch. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is moving.

This our 4th time using Chicagoland. Twice moving 200 miles to and returning from Lake County IL to Western Michigan and Back to the North Shore. Probably the best, dedicated crews we have experienced. They helped with the packing and unpacking. Even moved my two kayaks. Completely filled up their 26 footer. Also beat out the pricing from two other Chicago based movers for a local move and interstate.

I just had the best move of all time. Chicagoland moving showed up right on time, and sent staff that were exceptional in terms of professionalism, as well as the total Hustle. They quoted me for 4 hours and we ended up having a 6-hour move because I added on having them move materials from another storage unit to my storage unit as well as the rest of the things coming from the apartment. The move only ended up costing $200 more for everything. I was so pleased that I bought all of the guys lunch and I'm going to tell the world about them. Moving is one of the most stressful things you can imagine. This was a move that seemed very easy because of their exceptional service and hard-working team. So I'm letting you know I wouldn't think twice about hiring them. I hired them 3 years ago for a move and they came under budget. This is important to know because many of these hiring companies will end up charging you almost double. My experience has been that they come really close to their estimates.

Wow these guys were amazing! Team of 4 guys came and moved everything in my one bedroom condo to my new house very fast. They were also very careful and wrapped everything with pads and wrap. They laid down tarps over the floors and did not damage anything! I see why they are getting many 5 star reviews on Yelp!

We are so happy with how Chicagoland handled our move from Chicago to Los Angeles. Our items arrived in perfect condition...the driver maintained great communication throughout the transport...the office personnel were terrifically helpful and friendly from start to finish (special shout out to Brandon!)...and the final cost was extremely reasonable. The whole experience was simply wonderful. We HIGHLY recommend Chicagoland!!!

Did $6,000 worth of damage - broke a cloud couch and 2 TVs. Also charged $3,000 for packing paper. Avoid these people.

New City Moving used to be my favorite out of them all in Chicago, but since they were bought out by New Sons, everything is going down the tubes. My recent move job went as follows. Movers showed up 25 minutes late on move day, had the audacity to ask for a tip, over-rode my instruction as to arrival time at the new location and approached the front desk to start unloading before my arrival, after I told them we had the elevator booked at a certain time. Apparently they had a full move after mine, which is something the "old " New City never did, so they were in a rush. I was willing to let all that slide until the next day I noticed that they drilled too far in to my clients dining table while assembling it and cracked the top of it in four areas. Funny how the lead Juan made sure to point out any items while packing that were previously damaged, or scratches on the floor of the new unit when we entered, but neglected to inform me that he busted my clients table right before he left for his next job. oh and for the record, I had tips for each team member on both pack and move day. point is, no one in service should ask for a tip. it's tacky. This company had turned in to a disappointment.,

As much as I *love* organizing we were both feeling overwhelmed with the amount of items/smaller awkward space and didn't know where to start. I had never worked with a professional organization company and admittedly had all the nerves. It's a vulnerable process to have someone in your space with your stuff and everything (including us) was treated with care. The organizers were lovely to work with, so knowledgable, and non-judgmental. They made use of items we already had to help us save money, and provided some guidance to maintain the space. More recently I was faced with a complicated project involving many moving parts in a short time-frame (packing/inventory/coordinating delivery) to move some items out of my Dad's home...while he was terminally ill in the hospital. Now living an hour outside of the city and focused on my Dad's care, I had contacted a couple of different companies I found via Google search who were unfortunately unable to help due to the (understandable) time constraints. When one of them suggested calling Mission 2 Organize (having expanded their business far beyond organization in the years since we last used them) I was hopeful, but cautious to get my hopes up. From the moment I spoke to Maria it honestly felt like a huge weight had been lifted off of me. She was kind, compassionate, and worked hard to get me an estimate quickly and line up everything in the time that was needed. The organizers themselves were nothing short of amazing-thoughtful, efficient, thorough, and truly went above and beyond to (literally) lighten my load so I could stay with my Dad. And the thing is, it was no different than years ago when the stakes were lower and the timeframe was a non-issue. That service is a standard for them, not the exception. I will forever be grateful to the M2O team and would highly recommend them for any and all projects-big, small, simple, complex. Thank you M2O!

The movers called to say they'd be a few minutes late because of truck issues, but they more than made up for that time by working quickly. They sent 5-6 people to help with our huge move (finally, a company that understands how to staff large moves!), were prepared to handle some very heavy and oddly shaped items, and were extremely proactive and patient with helping me figure out where to put some furniture in smaller spaces in my new house. Vibes: The movers treated our items with care, treated our home with respect, and were still incredibly fast with making the move. The gentlemen on the phone (yes, I called multiple times to update my list of furniture and discuss the move) were always kind, helpful, and patient. My old house was on a private lane with a challenging driveway entry situation. They were able to do an initial drive-by to figure out how to best address the potential problem. Fortunately, they constructed a solution that would work best and be the most cost-effective for me. The movers were very prompt, arriving on time, a little after 7 in the morning. They did an initial walk-through with me so that they knew exactly what I was taking and what was supposed to be left in the garage for Habitat for Humanity. I was then allowed to head to my new house to start unpacking boxes while they moved the furniture onto their truck. When they were close to finishing, they called me to return to my old house so that we could do a final walk-through to make sure they didn't leave anything behind. Then we all headed to my new house, where I directed them on where to put everything. The team of 4 worked seamlessly and had nothing but respect for one another, for me, my furniture, and my home. Once everything was moved into my house, they did one final walk-through to move anything I wanted moved. Additionally, I had 2 very challenging items to move: an exercise machine and a massage chair. They figured out how to disassemble and reassemble both of them, which was quite a feat. On top of everything else, they did not once scrape up a wall or my furniture; they were all super careful. I'm sorry I didn't get everybody's name to compliment; this was such a busy time for me.
