Dan and Mike were also extremely communicative which I deeply value, since moving is such a stressful thing. They handled everything with care, worked efficiently, and went above and beyond to make sure all of our things were loaded with care. They were done within the HOUR. We had a one bedroom (and a LOT of stuff) and Dan and Mike were able to fit our things in an 8 x 8 pod. We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better moving experience. Dan and Mike were a pleasure to work with, and we would recommend them to anyone moving away or within the Chicago area without hesitation. Five stars all around!!!!

After that experience, I knew I would use them again, and the second move was just as easy. It made the whole process feel very organized and professional. A special shoutout to Domingo, who led both of my moves and was great to work with each time. The whole team was efficient, communicative, and careful with my belongings, especially the fragile items. Nothing was broken or damaged during either move, which I really appreciated. I would definitely use Jay Movers again and recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable moving company.

We recently moved from an apartment to a condo in Chicago and used King David Moving. They were…read morerecommended by a friend that used them a few years ago. They were AMAZING!!! Super professional and organized. I felt at ease how carefully they handled our furniture. They came with wrapping, tape, and moving blankets. We had pretty much everything in boxes apart from furniture. They were super fast, polite, and showed us where everything was placed. They answered every question and were so easy to work with. I would definitely recommend to anyone moving and at any size. 2 tips: 1. Leave your clothes on the hanger and put garbage bags over your clothes and tie shut. They were able to transfer these from closet to closet effortlessly. 2. Choose heavy duty moving boxes: When you get boxes for your move, get the heavy duty thicker moving boxes like they sell at Home Depot. I went the cheap route and used the cheapest moving boxes I could find on amazon. They were a bit thinner. Everything was moved fine and without any damage, however the thicker boxes would ensure nothing gets smashed etc. The thick ones can be closed and sat on without the box breaking.

This is a company that carries themselves and their customers from beginning to end with respect and professionalism. This was a 3-bed apt move from Chicago to the suburbs. From the beginning, I filled out an online form to inquire and received a reply quickly. We set up the day, time, and locations, and I was in the books. The beginning was the most surprising part of the move because the team actually showed up on time! They introduced themselves, positioned their truck, put protective gear on the doors to protect my landlord's property and my own, and got to work. The team had the truck loaded within a couple of hours and made sure everything fit. No swearing and no hot heads, they were methodical and safe the entire time. We all headed to the next location and they began the unload process. They asked where items should be placed and helped get them as close to their final homes as they reasonably could. The unload is what separates the men from the champions, and let me tell you, they were gods. I appreciate the care they all took in handling my family's furniture and belongings. I have moved multiple times and have seen a wide range of movers, and let me say that Lift and Load is worth every dollar. They are professional, safe, courteous, and move with a sense of urgency. I don't care if another mover is asking for less money, I guarantee Lift and Load will save you that in damages. If another mover is more expensive? I doubt they will match Lift and Load's professionalism. Do yourself a favor, give yourself peace of mind, and let them lift loads off your shoulders during your next move. Thank you again Peter, Nick, Ariel, and Ariel Jr.
