I cannot say enough kind things about Pay Less Moving! They are an absolute delight to work with, and the finest movers I've ever hired! (And we've moved 5 times in the past 5 years!) The morning of our move, we had a disastrous experience with other movers we had hired, forcing us to ask them to leave. We were stranded with our sofa and bed left outside in the parking lot, and it was scheduled to rain that afternoon. In a panic, I called multiple movers asking if they had any last-minute openings, but since it was Memorial Day weekend, pros were all booked up. But Pay Less Moving was so accommodating! The office personnel was so sweet, she took my number down and asked if she could call me back in a few minutes to see what they could do for me. She called back promptly and told me she could send four men out to us by 1:30, before the rain! I was so grateful and thanked her profusely! Right on schedule, Mauro, Favian, Jose, and Luis came in and saved the day! They were lightning fast, quickly jumping in, wrapping our furniture and TV in blankets and shrink wrap. It was honestly like watching them move in fast-forward haha. I thanked them all so much for coming to help last-minute. They said they were happy to after they heard our situation, and that some of them had come even though it was their day off! They had such a sense of humanity and kindness that made me breathe a huge sigh of relief after our disaster of a morning! In a little over an hour, our apartment was loaded on the truck. At our new house, the rain began, but our things were protected by the wonderful wrapping the men did! They continued to push and work hard, even in the downpour, and got all our things safely inside. These guys were great. They called me to start the move a little early, since they finished their previous move ahead of schedule. 3 men. helped move my stuff out, they took care to wrap up any furniture and delicate items and moved quickly. They asked me a lot of questions to make sure everything was moved in the way I wanted. One guy had power tools and was able to take apart my bed in what seemed like less than 5 minutes. He even put it together in my new place! They also were careful to point out any damage to the building's walls before moving, and were careful not to make any additional markings on the walls as they worked. In terms of cost: they have a 2 hour minimum at a rate of $102/hour for 3 men and 1 truck, and a $51 travel time fee (even though the travel time to my new place was under 10 min). I also paid an extra $20 for them to move a TV in one of their own boxes, and $30 for shrink wrap. For 2.5 hours it took for them to move, the all-in total was $356. read more

Due to some unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances, I was left without a moving company to assist in my move to a new apartment. I reached out to Mauricio less than 12 hours before my intended move time expecting to not hear back and be stuck without help. Mauricio responded in a matter of minutes with all the information I needed and quickly worked to ensure I'd have a team ready to help me the next morning. The team showed up exactly when they said they would fully prepared to assist. They moved with speed, purpose, and were exceptionally careful to ensure nothing was damaged in the move. It took them less than an hour to move me out and an hour to move me into my new apartment. I'm so thankful for their service, would recommend them to anyone looking for top-class service. These guys are great. I needed a last minute mover and the booker emailed/texted me back and forth after 10pm. Got me my estimate within minutes and was cool when I changed my mind the next day and wanted to add a service. I like that the estimate has an online signing option so there is no sending docs back and forth. Movers showed up 15 minutes early. They were super fast, courteous, and finished in exactly the time I booked them for. I moved a couple years ago and hired four movers as they recommended to me and there wasn't another option. I hired two with Pay Less and they got it done /faster/ than the four man crew. They were also really careful with all my stuff. I recently hired Payless for a move, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service they provided. Fabian, Angel, and Daniel were a great team! They arrived early, worked incredibly quickly, and handled everything with the utmost care. Large pieces of furniture were carefully wrapped and moved without a scratch. In the past, I've always had something break during a move, but this time, everything arrived intact! Not only did they reassemble everything they had to take apart, but they even helped move another piece of furniture down to our car. While I don't plan to move again ANY time soon, if I did, I'd call Pay Less Moving again. And don't let the name fool you, you DO get quality service...and you'll pay less than other quotes. Pay Less Moving showed up early, which I appreciated, were friendly and considerate, and answered all of my questions...and believe me, I had tons. From the breakdown and set-up of the furniture to the wrapping of the large items, everything was easy peasy. One thing I would've done differently was to go through my actual list that I provided them upon scheduling because we forgot to get two items at the old place in storage but, that's on me. From beginning till the end my experience was amazing! Rebecca answered the phone, got my info, did my estimate and confirmed a couple of days prior. Then the crew of 3 men came over and they are the fastest movers I ever seen! It was pouring rain that day too and they decided they wouldn't even use the truck, they just walked in between my old and new building carrying the stuff and pushing the dollies. The process of receiving a quote and scheduling the move was efficient and quick. Rebecca was very helpful working through the process with me. The movers, Mauro, Fabian, and Francisco were magicians. They worked tirelessly and managed to move items from multiple locations in much less than the previously estimated time. I would 100% use again and I highly recommend these guys (Jesse, Fabian, and Miguel). I finished moving my apartment and I'm so glad I called this company. Setting up a time to have them move me was easy. On the day of, the crew was very diligent and worked fast. They wrapped everything in blankets for moving and plastic wrap for storage. They treated my stuff like it was their own. They definitely went the extra mile on packing my storage unit, they stored it in the most efficient way where I can get to what I need and it's incredibly organized. I hired this company for my move from downtown Chicago to Arlington Heights for a 2B2B and it was a great experience. I was hesitated in the first place because they seem to be a relatively new company. However they turned out to be very professional and efficient. They wrapped the furniture very well and paid attention to the walls and doors when they move. My sofa did not fit in the freight elevator of my new building and they carried it all the way to the 7th floor. These guys are amazing!! I made a scheduling error and didn't catch it when I signed the contract. Lo and behold, the day I thought I signed for came, and no movers. I called them and they pointed out that I had contractually agreed to it (always check your contracts!!). Short story short, these movers went all in and made it happen--no drama, no arm twisting, just solution oriented!! I would call them again in heartbeat. I just had Pay Less Moving move my Mom from her 1 bedroom apartment to a storage unit. They were very prompt, efficient and helpful, and professional. They were able to move not only her apartment but a ginormous heavy wooded entertainment center to the alley AND drop off her bed, recliner and a dresser to my place all within 2 hours and 15 minutes! Could not be more impressed and pleased with Pay Less Moving. The 3 guys arrived a few minutes early and got right to work. They were efficient yet careful. They got my move done in less than 3 hours despite multiple flights of stairs at both apartments (they didn't even charge extra for all the stairs.) I used Payless Moving for my move out of a condo in Oak Park to a townhome in Elmhurst. I had heavy antique furniture and Favian and Mauricio were absolutely amazing. They wrapped my furniture well and had a delicate hand with moving up/down stairs. They were quick, efficient, and extremely personable.
