    Injeolmi ice cream

We tried 8282 during restaurant week and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant week menu came with a salad, appetizer, entree and dessert. I love the ebi ikura Uni tartare appetizer which came with fried seaweed and rice underneath. The seafood is fresh and the shrimp was amazing. The grilled ribeye according to my partner was super tender and flavorful. I love the miso cod as well which was well seasoned and could easily be break apart by spoon. The portions were actually decent that we felt full afterwards which rarely happens with restaurant week menus. We were not that big of a fan of the injeolmi ice cream since the cheese texture felt a bit odd with the ice cream. But overall good service and an overall nice date spot!

Favorite dish that I must get again: the shrimp shawarma. That flavor has the power of shawarma spices, but has its own seasoning blend to make it taste uniquely Korean. Even when the shrimp skewers were done, I wanted to go in and slather that sauce on everything I had. The ttekbokki is probably their biggest starter dish, so if you're looking for something a little bit more carby to make the meal a little fuller, go for this cheesy skillet. The entrees were good as well. The mushrooms were a flavor bomb of umami and just so meaty and juicy, pairing well with the scallops. But nothing Service was really delightful. The person who helped us had great attention to detail, recommended dishes to make sure that we had appropriate portions to share between the both of us, and was considerate of our wait time/any inconvenience that occurred. Our total bill came out to be ~$200, including tip. Was the food good? Yes. Would I go again paying that price tag? No.

This place seriously deserves more hype! I have been here several times already and have never left disappointed. I came back for my birthday this time, and our server Jenna made the experience feel extra special. Some of my favorite dishes here are: EBI IKURA UNI TARTARE - A generous bed of fish over seaweed rice. I especially loved the seaweed tempura that came with it. LITTLENECK SOOJEBI (my favorite) - The broth was light and comforting. The clams were cooked perfectly and the noodles had a chewy texture that I really enjoyed. PERILLA OIL PASTA - Savory, nutty, and refreshing all at once. JJAJANG BORI BAP - Thick, sweet scallops served over savory barley rice. The flavors worked so well together. You really cannot go wrong with anything here. I would recommend coming with a group so you can try more dishes. As for drinks, both the Yuzu Matcha and the White Rabbit slush were dangerously good.

8282 had always been on my list to try, and I was finally able to go last week, and it definitely did not disappoint! They have a pretty decent sized space with some tables, and bar seating as well. Located in the heart of lower east side, 8282 is a great place to start the night before you go bar hopping (which is what we did). I definitely recommend making a reservation to eat here. There is a cancellation/no show fee, but they get pretty full quickly. They were super accommodating when I called to adjust my reservation from 3 to 4 people, and had set aside seats at the bar for us instead. Seating time is also 2 hours max, and you don't need to have the full party there to be seated. Alex was our bartender and waiter, and he was the best. He gave me and my friends free shots, was super friendly throughout the night, and all in all made it a fun night! The yuzu matcha magic cocktail was so good, and whatever magic shot Alex whipped up was delicious. The food was spectacular. We were hungry, so we ordered 5 dishes, and they were all hits. My favorite was definitely the beef tartare, it was savory and flavorful, yet somehow refreshing at the same time. The jjajang bori-bap and 8282 steak also got snatched up quickly among us. If I ever go back, I'd actually consider doing their pre-fixe menu instead, so you can try way more dishes! All in all, I'll definitely be back. Another friend of mine also visited a couple days ago and also loved their food. 8282 you will be seeing me again!!

I've walked past this restaurant so many times and finally made a reservation and I'm glad I did. The service was absolutely wonderful everyone was friendly and when my food was ready who ever was available brought it over and explained the dish so I got to meet everyone and got my food fast. I was sat at the bar which was fun to be able to watch the drinks get made. I got the beet salad, scallops and the shrimp ikura. The beet salad was the best beet salad I ever had and definitely want to return for that, the scallops were so delicious and everything blended well and the shrimp ikura was fresh and a really great amount I left full. The yuzu matcha magic was absolutely magic best cocktail ever. Loved the restaurant and service. 2nd visit was absolutely another 5 star visit. I had to get the beet salad again which was just as delicious as the first time, this time I did the pre fix I got the octopus, the miso cod and the panna cotta and wow everything was perfect the flavors were on point the octopus has a lovely char and the burrata helped balance the spice the miso wow the mushroom sauce and it was tender with the glaze honestly chefs kiss the noodles were refreshing and the panna cotta definitely a favorite. Service at the bar was absolutely wonderful friendly fast the drinks were on point and I was even given a lovely lime shot. Definitely my favorite spot and can't wait to go back and try the other items.

I went during restaurant week and thought it was such a good deal so had to stop by. We unfortunately did not get sat by the wall and since it is a small intimate restaurant, we had people constantly walking by the table on both sides. Now that's the only downside to our experience. The food? amazing! The uni/shrimp + cracker was so good that I was shocked since I haven't had that tasty raw shrimp before. The octopus was perfectly cooked and tasted great with the sauce it comes with. The 8282 steak was soooo flavorful with the mashed sweet potato and pesto! delicious! The scallops were cooked well but the flavors were a bit bland. And by the time the lamb chops came out, we were stuffed full but the spice was great and lamb was so juicy!

Came here with my husband for a date night and left here pretty disappointed. Here's everything that we tried: Ebi ikura uni tartare It looked amazing and I was really excited to try it. While the portion on the uni and ebi were pretty generous, everything was kinda tasteless? Not sure why but I just couldn't taste anything but sesame oil Cheesy Tteok-bokki It just tasted okay. The chicken was cut too small to find in a pool of sauce. The rice cake was also too soft for my liking 8282 steak Worst dish out of everything that we tried. It was too salty and sweet Grilled lamp chops It was also only okay. I really liked the mint perilla puree though Bibim guksu It was part of the pre fixe menu. Probably my favorite dish out of everything. The yuzu dressing was very refreshing Yuzu panna cotta Also only okay. It's not too sweet at least! Overall, my experience here was really just okay. Presentation of the food looked great but it really just tasted mediocre. I also found it weird that they didn't ask how we like our steak and lamb cooked. They were both medium well. The restaurant was also kinda cramped and it was very loud. Don't think I'll come back again.

3.5/5 but I'll round up because the servers were nice. I'm sure this place is great with the normal menu but the restaurant week was NOT worth it. We definitely felt hungry afterwards lol. We basically got one of everything on the menu - they give you two options for each course so it's a little limited. The rice bowl was actually really good but there was too much rice. My bf got the shrimp which was basically 3 shrimp in a yummy curry sauce. My black cod ravioli was divine- so so good but sadly I need more than 3 ravioli!! My bf liked his steak but they never asked his preference on how it should be cooked and it was served medium/well-done. The ice cream dessert was really good and by far our favorite over the watermelon slush, which was literally just watermelon slush with pop rocks. Everything was really good (besides watermelon slush) but simply not worth the $60 pp price. I'd come back here to order off the regular menu.

So so good. I've been meaning to try this place for months and finally got the chance to The plates look small but it catches you off guard and makes you full. The uni dish had rice under it, unbeknownst to us. It was so fresh and creamy, you have to get it The clams were good but what made this my favorite dish was the fact that there were some thick noodles attached. It's so flavorful- another must have. The jjang had juicy big scallops but I was never a fan of black bean sauce- still good butI'd pass on this next time. The perilla oil pasta was another surprise. It's light and the flavors were like nothing i've had before. I'd recommend this dish as well We got the melon drink, and the waiter was kind enough to give us free shots and a lychee drink as well. So nice!!!!

Came here because there was a reservation opening at 5:30pm. This spot usually has a line. The restaurant is kinda small and packed. Has good vibes for dates and small groups. They also have bar seats. The waiter we had was very attentive. Food here was average 4/5. The dessert were 5/5. Overall good experience.

We went there during restaurant week. It was really good and service. The place is really small so I would recommend getting a reservation in advance. The food and portions were good. We took the dinner restaurant week menu and I ordered a cocktail as well ( with Gochujang ! Delish!) The wagyu meat balls were very juicy; the miso glazed cod was tasty. We also got a special squid appetizer which was amazing

Walk in on a drizzly Saturday. Seated right away at the bar. Started with gochuchang margarita. Bit on the sweet side but tasty. Moved on top "chirashi" Korean style with ikura, uni and ebi. Seaweed toasts were crispy and paired well with all seafood. This was my favorite dish. Next came scallops. I was expecting larger u12 but these were also good. Surprisingly they had no color. Rice with shrimp and squid ink was good but was a touch sweet . Everything could have used acid. Last came out clams. Tasty but again a bit too sweet !!

The effortless tranquility encourages you to slow down, enjoy the food, and get away from the everyday, hubbub. Their menu leans into fusion dishes with a nod to some of the classic home-style classics. Everything is presented with a refined, elevated touch. Here's what we ordered: ~ Tako Wasabi - 5/5 stars A fiery delight. This appetizer feartures chopped raw octopus marinated in wasabi. It has a lively zest from the wasabi and is topped with tobiko, which adds a pleasant contrast in texture. ~ Honey Makgeolli - 4/5 stars A traditional fermented Korean beverage that is light and pairs brilliantly with your meal. It is a cloudy alcholoic drink served in a metal teapot, and surprisingly, there is much more in that teapot than you would expect. It easily provides six to eight generous pours. The flavor is subtly sweet with a pleasant tang. ~ Temaki Set - 4/5 stars You can order a set of three by choosing from selections 1-17, or you can order a la carte at the listed prices. Some of the temaki stood out more than others. Our two sets included marinated salmon, bluefin tuna, spicy yellowtail, spicy bluefin, and two dynamite temaki. ~ Spicky Pork Ssam Set - 5/5 stars Truly another standout entree that even surpassed my beloved grilled BBQ bossam. You received a generous basket of assorte greens, including romaine, kale, perilla leaves, dandelion leaves, nappa cabbage, and more. It is well worth the price and makes for a fun, interactive dining experience with your family and friends. There is also various banchan offered and this time, they were beyond kind enough to offer refills. The last time we were here, we ordered just as much food and they stated they normally did not offer refills, which I thought was very odd. With its casual bougie aesthetics, this spot has quickly become one of my favorite eateries in Fort Lee-lee, It beautifully blends Korean, Japanese, and American flavors in a way that feels both comforting and elevated. Needless to say, we will be back!

My friends and I got the Spicy Raw Marinated Crab, Kimchi Pancake, Galbi, and Spicy Grilled Pork Japchae. I LOVED the Kimchi Pancake! Probably the best one I have ever had. It was so crunchy, tasty, and filled with kimchi. I find that some places skimp out on the kimchi and add a lot of onions instead, but not here. The poached egg on top also served its purpose well and added a great flavor to the pancake. I really liked the Galbi too. It tasted like a high quality of meat and it was super tender. My only wish is that I wanted it to have more of a char, but not a big deal. I tried a bit of the Spicy Grilled Pork Japchae and I was pleasantly surprised at the taste. I enjoyed the japchae and grilled pork more than I thought I would. My friend thought the dish tasted a bit Vietnamese, but I think it was because of the toppings inside? While I did not try the Spicy Raw Marinated Crab, my friends really liked it. We also got complimentary barchan which was amazing! I love their steamed egg and kimchi. The banchan were also incredibly well-made; we finished nearly every side dish on the table. Service was quick and efficient too. It's such a shame we only discovered this restaurant on our final day, we wish we'd come here earlier. I'd highly recommend this spot. Overall rating: 4.5 to 5 out of 5 stars.

I highly enjoyed the food at Jeong Yuk Jeom. I ordered the chicken katsu, and I would highly…read morerecommend it as someone who frequents katsu restaurants. It's extremely crispy and very high quality. A large issue I had at this establishment was the service. The server felt unfriendly, and whenever we tried to flag him down, he wouldn't even look at us. It took around 20 minutes after our meal to get our check which was ridiculous. It was a shame because this was easily one of my favorite meals in NYC, but I don't know if I would return solely due to the service.

Tried this spot for Restaurant Week and had a great experience. The $60 three course menu is a…read morereally good value. You get to choose three appetizers, two mains, and one dessert, so it's a great way to try a variety of dishes, especially if you're sharing. The service was friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was pretty busy. We did have to wait about 20 minutes past our reservation before being seated, but everything went smoothly after that. The restaurant is beautiful inside- liked the interior design choices a lot! My favorite dishes were the asparagus japchae, lotus root gangjeong, and the Korean melon dessert. Overall really enjoyed the meal and would definitely come back to try the regular menu.

Solid Korean spot with a calm, dim interior. We made res for restaurant week as a group of 6, which…read moreallowed us to try a little of everything on their menu. What I got: - Asparagus Japchae: Very good - instead of traditional Japchae noodles, it's sliced asparagus and mushroom. The marinate was delish! - Shrimp Pancake: It was more like an omelette. Not so much of the actual pancake batter. - Spicy Fried Chicken: Nicely fried, standard. The spicy sauce is on the side, which allows us to adjust our bite. - Bossam: I enjoyed this! More Bossam pieces than lettuce, but overall taste of the meat was good. It didn't have the "bland pork" taste. - Pyongyang Cold Noodle: This was my first time having this dish. Seemed pretty traditional. The broth was on the lighter end for me. - Korean Melon: LOVEDD this dessert! A refreshing way to end the meal. The menu denotes cheese, but it wasn't even noticeable. It has a few toasted pine nuts mixed in, which were SOO good. Overall, a very filling meal and worth the $60 restaurant week value! Nothing absolutely blew me away, BUT the flavors were solid and the staff were great. Would come back for another deal!
