Further, there was glass in the parking lot and WORST OF ALL was watching one disgruntled person FORCE THE AUTO SLIDING DOORS OPEN! What?! Aren't they supposed to be locked and this place secure? How could someone slide them open with ease?! How would or could I as a prospective customer ever want to store my stuff here?! No thanks. Unreliable. Untrustworthy. Poor business practices.

They were open until 10pm. We had our gate code and unit number sent to us and had our items in by 830pm. I didn't need the lock because I had my own, so I went to drop it off at the office and they are so friendly. Space was clean and in a safe area. This is the location across from Lis Alamitos High School on Cerritos (not Carson St).

Kirsten was also helpful during my stay and showed me some of the other units they had when I needed to downsize. My stay was short so I didn't have Issues here, but I know it can get expensive quick. One thing to keep in mind is prices do fluctuate alot. It's best to keep an eye out online for prices. I was kinda nervous about having my things here so one day I added a 2nd lock for security and I got a call first thing in the morning the next day asking if it was me who had placed the lock. This let me know they do check all locks every day. That made me feel better about having my stuff there. Place was always clean whenever I arrived. Couple of weird folks around the gate area around the evening times but nothing crazy. I would rent here in the future.

Our insurance which we do have, made a mistake on the VIN info. And RJ wouldn't let us talk to Jay to explain. He refused our rental. We needed to store our trailer because the city of Carson is giving tickets for parking our trailer outside of our house while we are preparing to move. We left and found another storage in Orange County when Daniel called and said that we could get the space at Cherry Carson RV because they offer their own insurance. Even though we have proof of insurance. So thank you Daniel for doing your job and fixing what RJ couldn't. The place seems clean and secure. Easy access. It's close to our home. So the value of that alone is helpful. I will update in a month on any changes.

We specifically called the night before to confirm that we would be able to access our unit at 6:00 AM because we needed to retrieve an important item before heading to the airport. We were assured that there would be no problem. The next morning, when we arrived at 6:45 AM, access was denied and we were unable to get our belongings. Being locked out of your storage unit right before a flight is incredibly stressful and unacceptable. The second major issue is the constant rent increases. After only a few months, our rate was increased by approximately $40. Then, after being loyal customers for over two years, we were hit with another increase of nearly $120 per month. These price hikes feel excessive and unfair, especially considering there were no noticeable improvements to the facility or services. Customer service has been inconsistent, communication is unreliable, and the pricing structure feels like a bait-and-switch. They get you in with one rate and then continue raising it over time. Between the unexpected access problems and the unreasonable rent increases, this experience has been extremely frustrating. If you're looking for a storage facility that offers dependable access, honest communication, and stable pricing, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Their 'app' is awful and barely ever works, and you are forced to use it to access the facility via bluetooth - but it is so unreliable you can get stuck in the elevator just trying to get to your unit. Not to mention that if you move out one minute into a new month they will charge you for the WHOLE month - no pro-ration, nothing. Bet you they will still rent out your entire unit and pocket double the profit though. Absolute scam artists that are using their monopoly power to screw over the normal person. Avoid this place at all costs - but if you must, be kind to staff cause the people here are great. Just a shame the company is such a dirty rotten cheat.
