What makes it special is that the honeycomb has a slight burnt flavor that helps balance out the sweetness. It adds just a touch of bitterness in a really pleasant way. It's incredibly delicious, and I have never seen this in other grocery stores. If I go back to the store, I'm definitely going to grab a few more before they sell out. Products at Grocery Outlet usually don't stick around for long, so when you find something you like, it's best to stock up while it's still available. While my overall shopping experience was pleasant, this is the second time I've encountered rude staff at the checkout. And I don't seem to have this issue at any other Grocery Outlet location, only this one. During my visit yesterday, the cashier scanned my items and then carelessly tossed them toward the end of the counter. A few of them nearly fell onto the floor, and I had to catch them before they did. I even said, "Jeez," hoping they'd realize what happened, but although they heard me, they didn't seem to care at all. It's disappointing because the store itself is great, but interactions like this definitely take away from the overall experience.

Since this item is not permanent, I decided to order online to reserve in case they run out. When I arrived, a friendly female employee explained how they ran out of the cake flavor that I ordered but an employee from another location was on their way to deliver and would take 10 minutes. I did not mind waiting. After I returned, my cake was ready and a nice male employee gave me my order. Before I tried the ice cream cake, I was unsure if I would like the almonds with the cake because that type of nut is not a part of Dubai chocolate. But the almonds paired well with the pistachio sauce, roasted kadayif, Pistachio Chocolate Bar ice cream, and chocolate cake. The ice cream cake was sweet and slightly salty. I was also surprised how fluffy the chocolate cake was. Because there is no other place near my home that sells a Dubai chocolate cake, I am definitely going to miss this Cake in a Box flavor.

After ordering, we took our receipt and picked up our smoothies at the counter. The employees were running a well-oiled machine to get quickly through the long line of people. Very impressed. The smoothies themselves - extremely good for $1. If I had to pay full price on these (my real opinion), I thought the Mango was very good, but a little on the sweet and runny side. The strawberry was a little lacking in flavor (almost no strawberry, a little banana) and too icy. After drinking two of them halfway, we combined to make a half mango/half strawberry, which turned out really well.

Lorelei didn't identify herself by name or title and simply said "hello?" I didn't bother going further with this ridiculousness. Lastly, I wasn't offered a sample piece of candy.
