A special birthday dinner that was perfect. The service was friendly and attentive. Our waitress noted the birthday girl noted was gluten free and brought a birthday dessert that she could eat. That's 5 service. We had the Brussel Sprouts which were amazing. The waygu meatloaf was delicious. And not to forget - the ocean view - priceless! read more

A beautiful lunch with a beautiful view and a beautiful soul from our server! Food was amazing!

Went here for a birthday celebration. The service was attentive but not annoyingly so. The food was delicious! We ordered the crudo for an appetizer and when the waiter was describing it, we were wondering how can all those layers be on top of a little cucumber. Well, it was and it was divine! Birthday boy ordered the bone-in ribeye, I and my son shared a filet flight of preparations, and the others had the sea bass and filet. All were perfectly prepared and delectable. Looking forward to returning -- and it probably won't be for any occasion except to have another fantastic experience. read more

This place does present as a higher end restaurant. When are reservations were set we asked to be seated on the boardwalk and they tried to seat us elsewhere. We said something to the waiter and he got an attitude and we ended up getting seated out of his area. You could tell he was not happy. I would say the food was ok at best and I can easily cook at better steak and lobster at home. We spent about $300 for a party of 4 and when we got the bill we noticed a surcharge of 5% in there. They said it was for inflation and it was listed on the menu which none of us saw so we disputed it and it was taken off. I am sorry but that to me is really crappy. Add the 5% to the menu prices and none of this would have happened. Waiter was great, food was just ok an honestly don't know if I would want to eat there again. read more

We enjoyed the amazing view, but definitely paid for it. Very expensive. I was the vegetarian in the group. My choices were quite limited but the roasted cauliflower was very nice! read more

Honestly disappointed in our experience here. Came last Sunday for our anniversary. Nothing was done or said to acknowledge our anniversary despite noting it in the reservation. Bread and butter was nothing special- it he rosemary butter has too much honey. It was too sweet. I had the filet tips which were decent but lacking salt and a bit over cooked. My husband got a NY strip and his steak was also under seasoned. He also got a side of the brussel sprouts which were honestly probably the best thing we ate. Aside from the lackluster food (especially for the price) two servers dropped things right by our table - one a glass that shattered and broke and I'm not sure what the other thing was but it was very loud and startled me. Service was attentive but a flat and a bit awkward. I definitely won't be back here. Far better restaurants in San Diego to spend this much money. read more

Get the martinis at happy hour if you can swing the time. Absolutely our favorite place for a sunset drink near the pier

Nice ambiance. Happy Hour portions are huge! There were enough Brussel sprouts to feed 6. They were delicious! Filet Skewers were also delicious. Try the Key Lime martini, you won't be disappointed. Service was very good and the staff is easy on the eyes! read more

First, the food is excellent. Six of us had dinner there recently and all were pleased with the quality of the food and service. The cost of our meals is the reason I can't rate the restaurant higher. The portions are so large and 5 of the 6 of us required doggie bags. Why not cut back on portion size. Nobody needs to eat 16 Oz or larger slabs of meat. If the portions were smaller, prices would decrease. Then, there's the surcharge added to each bill. What are these for? The servers don't see any of this money altho it was originally supposed to help in providing health insurance or to aid in offsetting minimum wage increases. I don't think it does either. And the most outrageous item on the bill was for an ice cube. One of our group ordered a scotch with a large ice cube. It was on the bill for $1.50. REALLY? Bottom line is great food, too pricey. read more

Hi there. Couldn't believe that there was a reservation available at 4:30 on a Saturday night. I started at the bar. while I waited for my better half to arrive. I was escorted to my table when it was available and also given an opportunity to close the bar tab very professional. You can see the pictures before my partner arrived, and after my partner arrived. we landed on the 333 salad which was fantastic and the 333 surf and turf for two which was delicious. Service and atmosphere sublime. read more

The food is great here. Services starts off with slightly snooty hosts, got better with our server, manager came over for a chat, checked on us. We got the artichoke appetizer. The veg is good the sauce is to die for. A pesto lemon sauce I want every day of my life. Then we got a large dinner for 2. 20oz steak supper tasty, cooked perfect, 2 lobster tails, mouth watering, fries mushrooms. One of my side's changed to truffle risotto, very rich yummy. Best of all we had a booth inside facing the pier with sunset views. Ambiance is worth it. We sat took our time relaxed as a family. read more

I took my parents out to 333 when they were visiting from out of town. I wanted to take them to a spot with good views and this didn't disappoint! The food was great and our server was Hannah and she was super sweet and really helped us through the menu. She had great recommendations. We ended up with the filet trio. Very refreshing to have an attentive server who knows her stuff! read more

If you want great steak, don't go here. Hubby and I went for our anniversary dinner, and here's how things rate: Food (ribeye & filet trio) - 2/5 - the potatoes were undercooked, the steak and sides weren't seasoned well, and none of the meat was buttery. I think I've cooked $10 Ralph's steaks better than this. Service - 2/5 - service was very subpar, inattentive. The dessert they give for anniversaries (a hard merengue) is a joke. Looks nice but eating it? No... Ambiance 2/5 - you know that dive bar smell, and old rag smell? Some places of the restaurant had this, so check where you are seated. Bathrooms were old and outdated. It's nice to be by the ocean and pier however. Parking 5/5 - underground parking garage that's free Also they had a $5 service fee to the bill which in itself is not a lot but why add the $5 to a bill? I don't understand. Also, hubby and I both had stomach aches after we left. read more

This is my husband and my favorite date night location! The service is always so on top of it, and so kind. Our servers last night (one gal was in training and she did amazing) were Julia and Taylor. We ordered scallops, blackened salmon, Caesar salad, calamari, and lobster bisque for entrees, a couple cocktails, and butter cake for dessert. The only complaint I have is that our risotto was undercooked, but besides that, we had the most amazing experience last night. The general manager even popped by to check in, which is so kind! The pricing is absolutely reasonable, as we left for under $300 after tip. We will continue to visit as often as we can! read more

Wonderful views of the ocean from the patio seating. Great server but expect to drop some $

I tried out happy hour on Sunday and was really looking forward to getting the calamari, but we had super weird shitty service from the bartender, he was acting super short with us and very rude, and also looked depressed. I tried speaking to a manager because we still wanted to get food , but they obviously didn't care. I don't think I'll be sitting a the bar ever again. read more

Flavor explosions and a rock concert of drink offerings. Great service and cool ambiance. Ironic that I'm writing this at 3:33pm. You don't need the ocean view but it is there! Jordan serves up some mean drinks. Don't forget happy hour at the bar is excellent. read more

Whether you sitting down for dinner or stopping by the lounge for happy hour, you will not be disappointed. 333 Pacific is situated directly across the street from the Oceanside Pier. Love this place and location. Upscale and modern steak and seafood house located in Oceanside. Best to make a reservation if you would like to get in without a wait on a weekend. The servers are professional, but could be a bit more knowledgeable in their menu. My husband and I came for a celebration and chose 333 as there are minimal great steak houses in North County. We were greeted with a friendly face and seated quickly. We were sat by a door that continued to open close all night. It would have been great if they would have asked if that would be ok with us as I stayed cold all evening. The wine was great, the food was spectacular, but the service could have been slightly better. We had to ask for more wine, side dishes were left behind, and we had to ask for a dessert menu. All in all, we will return as the food was amazing. read more

333 Pacific - Nice surprise ! - Steakhouses Near Me - Oceanside, California

I've reviewed 333 before with a glowing review. I was excited to return there again after 2 very good meals previously. Last night changed everything. We started with the Calamari and that was the best thing they served. The 2 stars are for that and for our waitress. After that it was all downhill. I ordered a Caesars Salad that was shameful. I could have broken a tooth on the croutons and the dressing was tasteless. It was basically lettuce. Blah. For entrees, my wife ordered the blackened salmon that was so overcooked that it was dry and mealy. Pathetic effort. My dish? I had spoken with the chef a couple years back who told me how good his cioppino is. I cook a pretty mean cioppino myself and I was looking forward to his. Nothing but disappointment. To begin with, there 4 mussels and only 3 of them opened. How do you serve that? There were a few nice shrimp. They claim there was salmon in there somewhere and thre wewere a few shreds of salmon but not one bite that had a piece that you could feel between your teeth. But the worst part was the oily, acidic tomato that could serve as the electrolytes in a battery. It was genuinely horrible. I ate the three shrimp, the three mussels and declined going any further. This reminds me of an old Woody Allen movie where they whine the food was horrible, and the portions so small. Its a subtle joke but applied to the meal. It's safe to say I went home hungry. I used to love this place but the kitchens performance last night ensures I have made my last visit to 333. I know the restaurant business is a tough one. But I consider the food served last night as the laziest a kitchen/chef could produce. This place has a nice ambiance and nice people. Here's hoping they see this and fix a very broken kitchen. But I won't go back there with my time and money. I could outcook them blindfolded. Very disappointed. read more

Best Oceanside view, drinks and food period! Firstly the view looks out across the street directly at the Oceanside pier. Fresh air and soothing sounds of the beach! The three best meat dishes I tried are: 1. The Braised boneless short ribs are a big tasty chunk of tender meat perfectly seasoned. 2. Flat iron steak was also tender not dry and well seasoned. 3. Wagyu meatloaf is excellent but heavy all meat. Had sides of Calamari and Brussel sprouts and they were delicious. Topped off my dinner with a nice slice of cheese cake! Food here is excellent! read more

What an amazing location. Located on the corner adjacent to the front entrance of the pier, 333 Pacific, is great place to celebrate a special occasion. Our party of 9 was seated on the corner booth of the restaurant and our waiter was definitely attentive. He took our drink orders. I got their version of the old fashion. If you're into old fashions as I am I would skip this. The coffee tones to the drink masks the flavor of the bourbon rye. I was not a fan. The Sazerac was also okay. Tasted more like cough medicine. The spicy pineapple was good but there jalapeño did leave a lingering burn to your throat. Cali Mango was okay. Tasted like pineapple juice w tajin on the rim. Thinking about the cocktails they were okay. Nothing too memorable. I would probably stick to the wine. The Malbec, Amalaya, and Cabernet, 10 span, were good. For appetizers we had the lobster bisque, Caesar salad, sweet chili calamari, Oyster Rockefeller and the edamame hummus. Out of the choices mentioned the sweet chili calamari was the best. The Oyster Rockefeller was small, and lacked flavor. To be fair to them the best oyster Rockefeller I had was an New Orleans. As for the entrees, we had the 333 filet trio, the 14oz dry age New York steak, American waygu meatloaf and 333 steak burger. I think the dish we all had positive remarks about was the 333 foot trio. The bleu cheese was the best. As for everything else they were good but not anything a steakhouse of this caliber wouldn't offer. Overall, 333 Pacific is a great restaurant if you're looking to celebrate a special occasion. Located across from the pier it's a special place for good solid American fine dining. If you're ever in the area definitely check this place out! read more

The service was great and we had a beautiful fives. However, the food was not good. The steak was diner quality at best but with steakhouse pricing. The filet skewers had zero sear on them. I don't think the cook is skilled enough for the restaurant. Or perhaps the restaurant needs to change its pricing and still to match the food quality. I hope they are able to improve because I love the idea of being able to go to a nice steakhouse in Oceanside. read more

Haven't been here in five years. Was invited by friends for my retirement dinner. First reservation sitting fast. App calamari really good. Filets, flat steak, and fish all very tasty. Prepared well. Unfortunately calamari came late with meal, but they corrected immediately and comped the app. Also, one person asked for asparagus instead of potatoes. Got potatoes. Fixed that and also comped immediately. We all make mistakes and always want to reward quick action and satisfactory resolution. Bottom line. Very nice meal with bottle of wine! Recommend! read more

Took my family here for dinner for my son's 16th birthday. Food was just ok... not great though. For the amount of money I spent, my expectations weren't met. I ordered the lobster Mac n cheese and my son ordered the NY steak dry aged with a lobster tail added on. This dish alone was $99!!! I would expect perfection, unfortunately it was far far from it. He ordered medium rare. Def not. Was more medium well and even super dried out on the ends. Lobster tail was pretty small considering it cost an additional $40 to add on and it was a bit on the chewy side. Nothing to write home about on the lobster Mac n cheese either. On a side note - I made reservations online for 630, when we got there hostess said our reservation wasn't until 715. She said "well we're pretty booked up right now" and tried to make me wait till 715. When I told her I had an email confirmation, she decided to seat us. Restaurant wasn't even half full!!! Wtf?! Not sure if she was just being a total b**ch or she didn't like us, but obviously a lie that they were too full to seat us. Lastly she sat us at a booth that would comfortably fit 4 ppl - there were 6 of us squeezed in! Thankfully our waiter asked us if we wanted to move to a bigger table. read more

Perhaps my visit was an anomaly, so I do plan to give them a try if I ever come back to O-side. What was off? The special of the evening was bass. Something I love and haven't had for a long time so it was a must order. Unfortunately after two attempts, they still couldn't get it right. Over salted, overcooked and poor cuts. My friend had ordered the exact same dish, but no issues with hers so I knew my meal was a bust. However, the service was friendly and gracious, the ambience was trendy and upscale with beach casualness, having one of my favorite, hard-to-come-by drinks on hand, the hot mama oysters and smooth delicious cheesecake saved 333 from a poor review. I should have stuck with my gut and gotten the steak. Perhaps next time...perhaps. read more
