Still the best New York-style Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood, hands down. They added boba tea to their menu, a true asian delight, with tapioca balls. The General Tsao's chicken is up to par now, and the sweet and sour cannot be beat. The special fried rice is filled with shrimp, pork, egg and a little ham - goes great with scirracha and the array of hot sauces they've got upon request. Must try if you like Chinese! read more

I just went here for lunch and loved it! I have been looking for good pho that isn't an hour away from Miami for years. The pho is delicious, just like the Pho 75's up north! Served with all the fixings. Huge portion. My friend had one of the lunch specials, lo mein, fried rice, wonton soup and eggroll. All were really good and only $7.95! service was friendly and fast. They do take out and delivery and have a very expansive menu. I saw the Cha gio delivered to another table and I'll definitely be ordering these next time! So glad this is in the neighborhood. Undercooked fish is unacceptable at any dining establishment. We ordered the fried snapper and began eating, but when we reached the middle of the filet, we discovered that the meat was pink and raw. I notified the waitress, and she took it back to the kitchen, where they chopped it up and re-fried the pieces. Minus two stars for chef. The staff was polite and attentive, and obviously communicated with each other about the raw fish because 3 different employees came up to apologize. However, minus one star for the management. Having just got off a cruise, I desperately needed some noodles and rice. 3 Chefs happened to be open and they happened to offer a variety of asian dishes I sorely craved. With my family we split a version of fried rice, pho, spring rolls, egg rolls and a pu pu platter. NOTHING stood out yet nothing was particularly bad. I ordered deliver off of the Eat24 app and was told my food would be delivered in 22 minutes, it took over 45. Although the wait was longer than expected, the food was decent. I had the beef Lo mein, the appetizer sampler and the special fried rice. It wasn't the Chinese restaurant, but it was good. I'm giving this place a nice 4 star, because of the service that we got late last night. I was starving, and we ordered some beef ramen. The waiter was nice and explained the dish, and how it was a new add on to their menu. They were playing Michael Jackson to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" on their radio, and I was having a great time singing along. The place did not seem busy at all, and they turned away people saying they were closed. Odd. But the food was good! Not the best ramen, my hard boiled eggs were broken and the noodles were good but something about them was average. The price was about right. They have very reasonably priced daily lunch specials (usually around $8) for a generous serving of a main dish, fried rice and an egg roll. The menu is quite extensive - lots of Chinese, Vietnamese and a few Thai offerings. I ordered food this afternoon for a post New Year's Eve recovery. On the positive side, the diet cokes were very cold. Everything else wasn't very good. 3 Chef's offers delivery AND has bubble tea. This means if I'm being a homebody, 3 Chef's is one of the few places that comes to mind. Delivery is fast and efficient. We aren't too particular with our orders, but everything always comes complete and in generous portions. While the bubble tea is amazing (taro!), the food is nothing to write home about. If you want standard Chinese take out, you got it. The fried rice and most noodle dishes are particularly bland, so we opt for stir fry dishes instead. This place doesn't know if it is a sit-down restaurant or a take-out joint. I've overlooked it's flaws of messiness and friendly but sort of unprofessional staff because the food was good. The food was good enough in the past that I brought a friend for dinner. We agreed to eat outside on the sidewalk tables because inside was naff with boxes and mess that should have been in storage. That was last April and the experience was satisfactory (3-4 stars). And that's why I came back. Today I'm sad to say it was as if all the past flaws devolved, from messy to filthy, the staff were nice but it was not busy and they were hanging around and talking loudly, while the restrooms where frightening (which usually makes me walk out but I already ordered. I would understand if there was a volume of people using them but there wasn't and it was early). The food was a reflection of everything else going on. I really feel bad to come here and go negative, but aside from the food being plain and meh and needing sauces at the table to have any flavor, something was in my food that didn't belong there, so it wasn't clean. I'm afraid to go back. If they don't clean up someone will get sick. On top of that, the prices reflect a nice sit-down place, not a greasy take-out joint. Sweet & sour chicken were giant chunks (someone too lazy to cut them properly) chicken with broccoli was tasteless and the fried was drier than the Sierra desert. We wanted to order white rice with the lunch special but they didn't give that as an option. Strange! Taste like they decided to serve yesterday's old fried rice instead. On top of that each special comes with an egg roll and they only gave us one! Seriously not going to eat it anyway but it's the principal.
