Pho accompaniment
Lasana S.

My friend and I were in the neighborhood when he started craving pho. Although I was hesitant to try this restaurant due to the reviews, it was the most convenient option at the time. We both ordered the pho with steak and shrimp. Initially, I thought the broth and meat were decent. However, as the ingredients settled, the broth developed an odd aftertaste, and the noodles became gummy, which I didn't enjoy. I barely made it halfway through the dish before giving up. Still hungry, I decided to play it safe and order a pu pu platter featuring ribs, wings, crab rangoon, egg rolls, and dumplings. Overall, the platter was decent, though I noticed a strange aftertaste with the chicken wings as well. The true highlight of the experience was our waitress, Roxanne, who was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the meal. That said, I really hope Miami sees an increase in its Vietnamese and Asian fusion options because, unfortunately, this restaurant was not a good representation.

Vietnamese vermicelli

Came here late on Monday night. The staff was nice. Rice vermicelli bowl: can use less lettuce but more beef, also cut up the spring roll would be nice. The next day we had food poisoning, we last thing we have eaten was food from this place, and before that we haven't eaten all day, so we think this is the primary suspect, not sure if it was the food or the milk tea from this place.

Came here on separate occasions: Bubble tea: 3/5 The have different flavours to choose from. The boba is chewy but I've ordered it twice where the boba was clumped together. Might've just been cooked badly or cooled down for too long. Food: 1/5 Got the vermicelli bowl and dinner special. Two people eating two separate dishes and somehow we've both ended up with stomach pains and diarrhoea that hasn't stopped 24hrs later. Since it's not because of one dish, we're thinking it must be something in the kitchen that contributed to both dishes being off. Or the beef they use in both dishes. Since it's still going 24hrs later, we don't know what it is. Hoping it'll go away otherwise we both need to visit the doctor. It's a real shame because the service was great and the food didn't taste bad. Wouldn't come back here for food ever again.

Szechuan Pork

We'd not eaten here for quite a while and I needed a soup fix. Parking was relatively easy; we found a space on a nearby side street. We were welcomed nicely, but it took a while to place our order - but that was ok. We had the order of summer rolls with shrimp and salad. They were ok, not something I'd normally order, I think too heavy on the salad and light on the small shrimps. My husband had the Szechuan Pork and thoroughly enjoyed it. For my soup fix, I went with the shrimp pho. Ok, this is an Chinese restaurant, not Vietnamese. Yes, the pho was, well, ok, but it was what I needed. There were a good number of nice sized shrimp hiding in the noodles. The side dish of sprouts, greens, and lime was generous. I needed to take some home and was given a good portion of the sides to add to my leftovers. The ambiance leaves much to desire, but then you don't have to pay for that. We enjoyed our meal

Generally okay and nothing to brag home about . Ordered a couple dishes and the quality is subpar but it did satisfy my Chinese food craving.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken and spring rolls. My order was greasy and tasteless. Not much to say about this place.

Their Pho is the best thing on their menu. It's so yummy! They deliver pretty fast as well! I got my food in about 35-40 mins.

This was by far the most watered down pho broth I've ever had. I would highly discourage anyone from ordering pho because of this.

What an experience…read more I had heard about Tam Tam from friends and had been on my radar for a while. This is a place for which you basically need a reservation, and they are not easy to come by. We ended up visiting at 5:30 p.m. to be able to grab a spot, and since before the restaurant opens, you can see people waiting for their reservations. You are first greeted at a window outside the restaurant, and as soon as you walk in, you are transported. The music, the decor, the aromas -- it feels like you are someplace else. A great atmosphere to enjoy a meal with your partner or with small groups of friends. I do want to highlight that the service was spotless since that first greeting at the window, to getting you to your table, going over the menu, and explaining the concept; they made sure we had a great experience throughout the meal. But what really sets Tam Tam apart is the food. The menu is short but accommodating, with options for everyone. Small dishes go for around $20 each, while large dishes go for around $40; you can expect to spend around $40-50 per person on food. We tried the Lotus salad, the Shimeji Mushroom, the wings, and the "wrap situation". I would say they were all +4.5 stars. Each of the dishes offered a unique flavor profile, not only amongst them but also from other restaurants you will try, making it truly a remarkable experience. At Tam Tam, you can notice their attention to detail; each dish is carefully crafted, balancing freshness, textures, spice, all combining in an explosion of flavor in your mouth. All in all, go on Resy right now and book a spot. Tam Tam is definitely a worthy experience. My Criteria 5 stars: The best food I have ever had, or an excellent option given the price. 4 stars: Good food, a restaurant I look forward to trying again. 3 stars: Good food, a restaurant that I am indifferent to. 2 stars: Below average experience, will not go again. 1 stars: This restaurant should be closed.

Google said they have good $10 happy hour eats and drinks, but they didn't have any of the food options when I went. The cocktails were great! A super cute bartender made them and served them up to us at this dimly lit bar. So dimly lit we could barely read the menu and I'm not old, I swear! Lol. I'm not even sure what it is that we ordered, kind of like a ceviche meets guacamole. I think it was good, I'm honestly not sure. It was fatty, almost buttery, my date didn't like that. It came with some kind of chip that broke really easily. The marinated cucumber dish was pretty solid though. I'd get that again. I have friends in the area, so I'll likely try it again, but there will be many other places that I'll be trying first.

The outdoor seating, The tables, chair, and many things like the menu, the sauce containers, and etc, indoor and the outdoors are really sticky, unclean and unsanitary, in my opinion. The water cups are really old and undesirable to use. My suggestion is to use the disposable chopsticks and anything disposable. The food is really Bland and small portion. It's bland that I had to shower it with sriracha. You would probably be really angry when it's serve to you specifically if you're really hungry. Comparing the portions of the bowl of pho is just about a yay size bigger than a Maruchan Ramen you would get in a one serving bag, not the cup. Average price of pho is $25.00 per bowl. 8 People came to about $215. Tip is included or mandatory. Customer service is noticeably unwelcoming. The server spoke to us only at the order taking, food delivery, and asking for their CHECK. The level of customer service is similar or about the same as many other customers came while we were eating. I would not express whether to recommend it or not, but please do check for yourself, as I'm sure they also need to make money to pay for their expenses. If you like the restaurant, please give them support as I'm certain that staffs work very hard to keep their business running. I recently tried a very well-known Vietnamese spot out west, and honestly? It didn't even come close. Their summer rolls and flavors don't hold a candle to this place. This is hands-down the best Vietnamese food in Miami, no contest. And definitely the best and most delicious PHO! What makes it extra special is the people.
