Blech. I just ordered the lemongrass chicken vermicelli noodles off the Vietnamese menu and now feel sick to my stomach. This is a seriously sorry excuse for Vietnamese food. I order this same dish all time at a different Vietnamese restaurant and it is loaded with fresh veggies and is absolutely mouth watering. Here I was spitting out gross looking, tasting and textured chicken. Why oh why, are there so few options for Asian food in Miami!?! The bf ordered off the Chinese menu and it may have been a little better, but they served Spanish rice and tried to pass it off as fried rice. I was a little taken aback by this gross food because we had once eaten in the restaurant and it was much better. I had ordered the pho and it was decent. Not spectacular by any means, but decent. This time not so much. FYI The restaurant is small and leaves much to be desired in the ambiance department. It also took them an hour to deliver to the downtown/ Brickell area. read more

My partner and I went here after the GMO march in Miami this past Saturday so you know it had to be real food! and it was of course! The menu is Chinese and Vietnamese we only wanted a snack and chose from The Vietnamese menu which was vegetarian summer rolls and vermicelli with lemongrass tofu with salad it was nice although the rice noodle was little over cooked. Soon we may go back to try the Chinese menu. read more

3 Chefs + 4 dishes +1 delivery - $60 = 2 stars. Sorry, but this ended up being just overpriced Chinese food. The Lo Mein was greasy, the Schezuan Chicken would have been spicy only to an infant with IBS. The Moo Shu was mushy. All in all, this was no better than the food you get in one of those Chinese joints tucked into a storefront where you pray that no one you know will bump into you. How many chefs does it take to make lackluster Chinese food? 3...3 Chefs. read more

I Suggested this restaurant for our office lunch strictly based on Yelps recommendations and It was very very good. I recommend. It is very hard to find good Chinese food an they hit the mark. Delivery for our huge order was delivered within a very reasonable amount and the order was perfect nothing missing. Give them a shot.. My favorites were mongolian beef and curry chicken with special fried rice. Keep up the great cooking 3 Chefs.. We'll be back!! :) read more

Chinese food is plentiful in Miami but good Chinese food is NOT! So when 3 Chefs opened up my hopes were not very high. I have to say Oh Happy Day! A good Chinese restaurant has arrived downtown Miami! While the quality of food is very good don't get your hopes up for large portions. Delivery is prompt and the driver Ted is super nice. The generals tso chicken is different from most traditional Chinese restaurants which makes it really stand out from the rest. It was delicious! Kudos to 3 Chefs read more

Fast Chinese food delivery is an alternative to other greasy Chinese food downtown. Both the General Taso chicken and the Kong Pao chicken are delicious. The lunch and dinner specials are a great value. I would order delivery again. read more

Absolutely terrible. Would absolutely give this place zero stars if I had the option. I received 5 pieces of the chicken and it was so old/ tough it started to hurt my teeth chewing it. read more

I have been to this place 3 times now and have been happy with the food every time. I initially tried some different chinese dishes which were all very well prepared and tasted great. The most recent time i went i tried their Vietnamese menu. I recently returned from Hawaii and was able to get some delicious authentic Pho, so i knew what to expect. Although it wasnt as good as ive had, there were no complaints. It was really delicious. The general tso's chicken, szechuan beef, and Pho Tai were all excellent. There is another chinese restaurant within walking distance (as this is too) from my condo, and i am so happy to know i now have two great options. I will definitely be going back here. A great place for dinner or lunch specials, either chinese or vietnamese. Very friendly staff with great service. read more

Last resort Chinese cuisine. The food is bland and poorly prepared. The lack of flavor makes tree bark seem appetizing by comparison. To add insult to injury, be prepared to become well acquainted with your toilet. Even my strong stomach felt the agony of defeat from this little restaurant. There are better options for the money. read more

Love it! Everything was fresh and the order was on point and on time!!! Great pricing and perfect flavor

It just time to admit that miami does not have a good asian food scene. Which is a shame because I love asian food. That being said for take out in edgewater 3 chefs is what you have to settle for and that can be risky. For the last 5 years it's been a vacuous cycle. After months of Chinese Food abstinence my guy and I will break down and get 3 chefs. Because as bad as it is, it is the best option we have found. The first time ordering is usually ok on our tummies. The food is nothing spectacular but depending on what you get edible. However the second time the MSG assassinates our tummies! And then we enter Asian food abstinence stage. And repeat. read more

Omg if you are a big fan of bubble tea you must check this place out! I came in on a chilly day to have some hot and sour soup and a bubble tea. The server asked me if I wanted the bubble tea hot?! Wow did that warm me up quick! The tea was great and the hot and sour soup had a spicy kick to it just how I like it. The server is super nice and the food is fresh. Great job guys! read more

Much more than a regular Chinese restaurant. I ordered again and again. The portions are plenty, quality is very very good. We were surprised our leftovers were delicious 3 days later. The Thai curry and Vietnamese rolls and pho , ramen , all were very good, besides the well known Chinese dishes. The person taking order speaks native English. It made me think the chefs are really in the kitchen working and taking turns so nothing tastes any less regardless of when you order . Please keep it going !! read more

The food here is excellent and the service is too. I came here on Christmas Day. Not much else open and I'm glad I did. Their schezuan pork was great and so was the egg roll, wonton soup, and crab Rangoon. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again. read more

I haven't tried any of the Chinese food, but the Vietnamese food is some of the best I've had. I'm not a real big fan of pho in general, but the Bún Thit Heo Xào Xà & Cha Giò (spring roll + pork w/ lemon grass and salad on rice vermicelli) was excellent. The sauce was a perfect blend of sweetness and spice, and the dish wasn't stingy on the meat. This, combined with the friendly staff, hole-in-the-wall atmosphere, and reasonable prices, makes this place a hit in my book. read more

Still on my mission to find great Chinese food.......it wasn't here. This is a very nice, quaint restaurant with a friendly staff. It seems that there is a chinese and vietnamese menu. I was given the latter and ordered the moo goo gai pan dinner and the peppered steak dinner dinner combo (included egg roll and "fried" rice), along with a side order of chicken wings. This came up to $28, which I thought was really pricey for you "run of the mill" take out chinese joint. While I expected pork fried rice, I was given egg fried rice. Who knew that it would be just scrambled eggs in unfried yellow rice? Hated it!! I guess I'm just too accustomed to that dark, soy sauce drenched fried white rice with chunks of meat, onions and bean spouts, most often served at local chinese restaurants.Duhhhh. The Moo Goo Gai Pan looked good with the bok choy, carrots and miniature corn, but was pretty tasteless, bland to be exact. The Peppered Steak was better, but it took some getting used to seeing it cooked with green and red peppers. The chicken wings were just OK, but I've had better. How is that possible? No seasoning or flavor. If you want quick and hot, go to 3 Chefs. But, if you are seeking GREAT chinese food this is not the place. read more

I have been ordering from this establishment for as long as I lived in Miami; 1 year. I am usually not a fan of Chinese food except in that "emergency" situation. 3 chefs has made me a lover of Chinese and Vietnamese food. I have yet to have a bad meal or bad service. They have even made me order foods out of my normal comfit zone of choices. I live live fairly close so I usually will walk over and dine al fresco but when I am lazy I order delivery and they are even prompt with that service. I have never waited the while time specified.... I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Cool new Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant on the Biscayne corridor between Downtown and Midtown. I work at the Port of Miami and we've been dying for some good Chinese round these parts, so when we passed by 3 Chefs while driving one day, we decided to give it a go. Both my friend and I had the General Tso lunch special. The quality of the chicken fried rice was pretty good, though the chicken in the rice was not the best. The General Tso chicken itself was pretty awesome, and I say that as a connoisseur of General Tso. One thing that was disappointing was the use of small water glasses and canned sodas (making refills impossible). It's a new restaurant, so I'm happy to let it slide, not to mention the food is good enough that none of this really matters. read more

Where do I start? New York & Jersey natives know the typical side apps and extras we look for and are used too. We love the home made iced tea, crab rangoons that are stuffed with artificial crab meat, cream cheese and scallions, home made duck sauce and loaded rice with chunks of chicken, pork and/or shrimp and egg. That's how we like it though I was well aware it would be hard finding the same quality here in Miami. 3 Chefs certainly comes plenty close. Not only is all of their food totally fresh and tasty, the owners speak very decent English! That's a perk when it comes to Chinese joints. They are very generous with the rice and chicken, meat and shrimp as well. All their vegetables are fresh. I certainly don't do frozen! They also make the Chinese hot oil with the red pepper flakes. Their orange sauce for Sweet N' Sour Chicken is delicious. The Won Ton Soup is great. They included 3 huge won tons and the broth was tasty. I am also BIG on customer service and all the times I have dealt with them, they have treated me kindly and were accurate with my order. Maybe twice they screwed up the order slightly, but 95% they are on point. And they replaced the incorrect orders with no problem. I have even requested they open one in Miami Beach. I have tried so many Chinese joints on the beach and none come close; in fact I wouldn't go back to any of them. The few flaws I found at 3 Chefs were when I requested an extra order (even in person) of broccoli, extra charge or not, I couldn't get a good amount. Also their crab rangoons are barely filled. They may have a 2 tsp of filling if that. The dough they use is cheap as well. (That's visible in the photos) They also do not make home made duck sauce. The Hot N' Sour soup was just weird. The consistency and flavor was way off. The Chicken & Broccoli's sauce was almost clear and thin. I am used to and like the heavy brown soy garlic sauce. I have tried: Spare Ribs Chicken & Broccoli Crab Rangoons Pork, Chicken and Vegetable Fried Rice Cashew Chicken Sweet N' Sour Chicken Hot N' Sour Soup Won Ton Soup read more

I continue to come here for the "pho" Best pho in town. The service is average. It's very important that you know that they have parking 1 block west of the building. It's convenient but at the same time there are scary signs telling you that you will park there at your own risk. read more

bad food !! I ordered Chinese ( sweet and sour chicken and special fried rice ) last night from eat24. extremely disappointed. never again! I ordered the tso chicken and I chose it to be hot and spicy, with brown rice, for delivery. Delivery was fast but they gave me white rice instead of brown rice, and it wasn't cooked well, almost not cooked at all! and the chicken had literally no spice in it, not at all! I can tell if it was at least lightly spicy but it wasn't. I was expecting a replacement or my money back but they refused to admit there's an issue with order! they told me that's how we make it spicy! but we'll give you %50 on your next order. read more

I measure by three different things in comparison to Taco Bell: DECOR: 3 Chef's is in the heart of Edgewater. Even though the restaurant is quite small, I have never had a problem with seating. There is music that plays in the restaurant and two television sets that are usually set to the news. This place is a bit more upscale than Taco Bell, though just barely. A star for decor. SERVICE: The service here is pretty average. The waiters are pretty attentive. Take-out is accurate and wrapped tightly. Overall a star for service. FOOD: The food at 3 Chef's is decent. I would switch back and forth from ordering from their lunch specials menu and Pad Thai. Their lunch specials are mediocre, not great. The Fried Chicken Wings with Chicken Fried Rice and Egg Drop Soup are a good go to. Be forewarned though the Hot and Sour Soup is pretty awful. You'd have a better soup mixing the Taco Bell hot sauces together. Their Pad Thai is ironically delicious and is what earns this place one star. FINAL VERDICT: Is Taco Bell better? Only if you're not in the mood for Pad Thai. 3 Chef's isn't worth going to between the price and quality of food. The only thing that really hits a home run here is their Pad Thai, which I think is absolutely delicious. If you have a Pad Thai craving that is driving you mad, grab it here. Otherwise ditch the Chinese food and grab a Taco! read more

I think 3 Chefs deserves 3.5 stars. They are pretty consistent with their food, but it's pretty typical Americanized Miami Asian food. I like that they have Chinese options, a "diet menu" and a small Viet menu (mostly Pho and Bun). But maybe this is also where they fall short. They are spreading it too thin! Focus on one thing and execute it well!! One time I ordered their Bun with Tofu and it came with broccoli in it... that was confusing. Their Goi Cuon is super good (served with peanut sauce though, not nouc nam) and they do make a Veggie Pho. I can't really say much else. Service is okay, good but nothing rememberable. read more

I do have to give it a second chance before going all negative but the chicken we order have way 2 much left over feather hair like on the skin, it grossed me out. I order something called pu pu platter I though I sounded funny, it's a variety of the appetizer but let's just say I was not laughing after eating it. I felt sick afterwards, it could be that I have made changes on my eating habits and can no longer tolerate fried food as I could before but it really didn't go well with me. My friend loved it all, including the hot and sour soup. I will def go back and give it a second try for something more on the lighter side. read more

Ordered for delivery they only had one size of lo mein that was huge. The noodles reminded me on ronzoni liguine noodles. Not your typical noodles you would find in an authentic Chinese restaurant. This place is sprucing things up a little. The seating outside is a nice touch. I have to say after a few extra times coming back I've seen a turn around with the service. This is my go to place for Pho, even though It is sub-standard to their Brickell location. Today, something went wrong. Broth had no taste/flavor whatsoever. At first I thought I killed it with too much lime juice and chili paste, even though I put just a little bit more than my usual amount. I asked them to remake it, which they were more than happy to do so. Second try, same thing and I realize the broth is the problem, not my lime juice. I understand this can happen anywhere, anytime but this is not my issue or the reason for the one star. The Asian lady that's serving me loses her patience with me after the 2-3 requests to modify/remake and because of her bad English a younger Spanish lady helps out. I decide to switch to Beef Udon, and AS the Spanish lady goes to the kitchen to place the order, the asian lady that was serving me calls out "No beef Udon" today. When the Spanish chick comes back I tell her what Asian lady said, and she looks puzzled. She says "She's just being mean", GOES BACK to the kitchen, they have a little pow wow, and she comes back to tell me there is no Udon. Naturally I say "You must be fucking kidding me" and I leave to go eat the top notch Pho at their Brickell location. As I am enjoying my Pho in Brickell, I decide to place a little fake delivery phone call to this, by the way, STINKY restaurant that smells like chicken broth - for "2 egg rolls", "garlic chicken"...and take a wild guess: "Beef udon". I am waiting for her to tell me they don't have it, but that never happened. I cancel order and hang up. 3 Chefs Brickell, you'll never see my Macedonian sexy ass again, Bahahahahah!
