Service was great, however beware a 20% gratuity fee is already included in bill. Food overall was good!

I've lived in downtown for a while, walked by this place so many times but finally decided to come in this afternoon and am now kicking myself for not trying it sooner. It is a cute little restaurant on 2nd street and we came in for happy hour (buy one get one free beer and sake) everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. Had so much flavor. Coming from the Bay Area, it has been so hard to find a solid Asian restaurant that isn't hyped and over priced and this was it! THE BEST ASIAN FOOD IVE TRIED IN MIAMI, by far. I recommend this to anyone in the area looking for a delicious fresh meal! The edamame was so simple yet so good i was licking my fingers after. The shumai was unique beef and delicious we ate it so fast almost didn't get any pictures. The Dan Dan noodles were sooo flavorful and the mushroom ramen was filling. Don't sleep on this place.

Hands down, this is the best dumpling restaurant in Miami. I went twice in three days because the shrimp shumai were the softest and fluffiest I've ever had. The lobster and shrimp dumplings were incredibly tender and full of flavor. The ramen was light yet still rich and satisfying, and the cucumber salad had the perfect balance of flavor and crunch. Everything is made from scratch right in front of you, and I even had the pleasure of speaking with the chef and owner. This place is truly a hidden gem in Miami. Once you try it, you'll keep coming back. And that's coming from someone who eats Asian food at least twice a week all over the country, this place is hard to beat!!!

You might of past this place a couple of times wondering if they were only a dim sum place but you'd be wrong not to go in. When I walk in to Dumplings I feel like I got transported to a small Japanese eatery with the kitchen in front of the bar watching the chefs create magic. The food here is as flavorful as it gets. They've masted how to create simple dishes shine. The Sapporo ramen is phenomenal. Their chicken katsu don or platter is cooked to perfection without being too greasy, the shrimp shumai is as juiciest I've experienced in Miami and the crab Rangoon's are NEXT LEVEL. The first time I stepped foot in dumplings those Rangoon's where what had me coming back and I never make a stop without ordering them.

    - Came here on a friday evening and had to wait about 30min for a table, they get busy!! - Got the chicken katsu, pork katsu, katsudon, crushed cucumbers, shumai - The cucumber could have been sliced into smaller pieces and they could have placed the chicken katsu on top of the egg + onions on the katsudon - Otherwise everything else was great - I've sat at the bar as well as the tables and have enjoyed both experiences - Definitely will be coming back for their katsu

As a dumpling aficionado, I'm not impressed with the main attraction. We ordered pork and shrimp, chicken and shrimp shao mai 烧麦. The pork and shrimp is the best of the 3, but barely tasted like the shrimp was present. The shrimp shao mai tasted like old shrimp with a lot of fillers. The chicken dumplings tasted worse than the Costco frozen ones. Mi Amore no plus! Also the cucumber salad used wrong kind of cucumbers. It was in large pieces that took a few bites to get down. The only food I liked was the mixed green salad. Glad we ordered a special beer that was made with sweet potatoes from Japan.

Stopped by for a day trip, and the family got hungry. Since we had been on a cruise ship for days, we were really missing some Asian food. The place seems cozy with a few smalls table and bar stools seating. However, if you are looking for authentic food, I would not recommend eating here. The Pork Katsu Don I received was entirely soggy. It was strange to me that they topped the beautiful katsu (which is supposed to be crunchy) with all of the wet egg, sauce, and vegetables. This made me suspect the katsu wasn't freshly made, and the chef was trying to hide that flaw by adding the wet toppings. Additionally, the meat was overcooked. At least the staff was extra nice and attentive to our needs.

What a nice little place with a small eating area 6 tables and a counter to sit and eat for over 10 to sit at. Owner Ryan in the open kitchen cooking. There was 5 of us and we shared all the dishes. We started with the shrimp pork dumplings, Chili beef shumai, Santiago was great and recommended somenotlf there best dishes. Small menu but plenty to eat and great varieties. He suggested the Ramen soup which was with ground pork, and the Dan Dan Noodles with ground pork. Everyone of the items were delicious! We also had blue crab lagoon and the kimchi side dish. Plenty of food for 4 of us!

Amazing Sake, veggie spring rolls the noddle special... soooo yummmmmy Love this little hole in the wall !

Sweet people and good dumplings. I found quality to be good and prices fair (pushing this a liiittle bit, but rent is high in this neighborhood so I stand by it). Service was good and they had my to-go order ready exactly when I asked. The people that handed it off were funny and friendly, and their dumplings were delish. I had the veggie dumplings and they were perfectly pan seared with a lovely spicy sauce. Will be back for more takeout orders, or perhaps to dine in in their cute lil space!

We were in downtown and craving dim sum at that time in the day that's too late for lunch but too early for dinner. I looked up restaurants in the area and came across Dumplings Mi Amor. The owner was present and greeted us as soon as we walked in. We were seated immediately and the server took care of us right away. The place is very small and you have the option to sit at a table or at the bar. Everything we ordered was good. I wish I would have requested the dumplings pan-fried rather than steamed because that's a personal preference, but I don't know if that's an option. I would like to come back another time and try their noodles.

My experiences of Dumpling has always been through delivery with the same food. Mushroom Ramen and Edamame dumplings. Fantastic!!! The spicy chili sauce that comes w the dumplings is soo freaking good and damn spicy!! Super fast delivery usually, but it's a hit or miss now w ubereats when they use the robot for deliveries...I waited almost an hour before I got my meal, but we'll worth it (even thought I had to pop it in the microwave for a bit!). Highly recommend!

I honestly hate that I waited this long to check out Dumplings Mi Amor. I walked into this space and felt like I was automatically transported back to an izakaya in Japan. The food was phenomenal, the service impeccable & the happy hour was straight fire. The omurice was comparable to the viral kichi kichi omurice & everything else was straight fire. If you want a taste of Japan, go to Dumplings Mi Amor.

We asked for a table of 2, and they told us we had one person in front of us. There were several tables available, but we still waiting 20+ minutes. I can only assume it was because the tables sat more than 2 people, so they wanted to save them for parties of 3 or more. After they finally sat us down, they gave us one menu asked if we wanted something to drink, and then proceeded to be ignored for 20+ min again. There was no hello, no welcome, no explanation of the carts or anything. Had to call the attention of one of the employees to please have a server assist us. When we finally got to order, we got honey chicken, which was actually really good. I was impressed. We also got a Lo mein, which did not taste like the typical dish in use to here in Miami. It was still good though. There were employees carrying around food in carts, which you can select premade plates from. We had two plates from there, but had no idea what pricing was like because no one had explained anything to us. Still, we enjoyed some soup dumplings, and spring rolls from it. One observation: at the end of it all, the tables that were open from the beginning we're still open, so we waited all that time for nothing. While the food from the place was decent. The service was not. First impressions are lasting impressions.

The highlight for me was definitely the wagyu slider--hands down the best slider we've ever had. I'm usually not a big fan of burgers or sliders, but this one completely changed my mind. It was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The wagyu tataki was also excellent, tender and well-balanced in flavor. The sashimi and seafood were incredibly fresh, which is always a must for us, and Novikov did not disappoint. The dim sum selection was outstanding--each dish was crafted with care and packed with flavor. And the desserts? Easily some of the best we've had compared to other premium buffets--beautifully presented and delicious. What truly elevated the experience was the service. It was attentive, warm, and made us feel genuinely special throughout the brunch. As a lovely birthday surprise, my wife received a hat as a gift and got to choose her favorite--she picked the red one, which made the brunch even more memorable.
