Cons: 1) food taste was so so, ordered Chicken all Mein Noodles. Chicken doesn't taste or look like chicken, I think they use Lab chicken lol, even sauce didn't help. 1) Friendly cashier

Best Chinese food in Miami and really good prices down side to them is there not on door dash or Uber eats other than that.

Ming Yuan has amazing food, the flavor and the portion are both amazing. The owner is super nice. Although it's a small place but I highly recommend the Chinese food here as a Chinese. Food is very delicious and ingredients are fresh

Has to be the worst Chinese food I had. I don't know how can you go wrong with Chinese food but they really did. *Rice had a burn taste to it. *General Tso's chicken had no flavor at all.

No. Just no. I'd been craving Chinese food, but not Asian fusion or traditional Chinese. You know, the carry out Chinese food you can find on most corners. After scouring the interweb and Yelp, Ming Yuan in Wynwood popped up, and was within walking distance to me. After browsing the menu and pictures online, I figured this will do. Upon entering, it's like your traditional Chinese carry out. Not fine dining clean, but clean enough to pass a health inspection and you feel safe eating there. There's seating inside fit for maybe 12 people and a small TV set to BET. I ordered the General Tso's chicken combination dinner plate for $9.25. Combination plates come with a protein or vegetable entree, ham fried rice, egg roll, and can soda. Food was prepared pretty fast, and I was out the door deciding not to eat in. Not sure what sauce the chicken was covered in, but it wasn't General Tso. First off, the chicken was white meat chunks -- which isn't a bad thing, but generally thighs work best because they hold more flavor and they're tender. Now there were maybe 6 huge pieces of chicken and A TON of sauce, which was too overpowering. The sauce tasted like a pineapple flavored BBQ that was too sweet and thick. I couldn't eat the chicken so I paid $11 with taxes for shrimp fried rice, a bad egg roll, and cold drink. Unfortunately this is not the meal that I had in mind and cannot see myself coming back to try anything else in the menu. There is a $10 credit/debit card minimum and if your order is below the minimum, they'll charge a fee.

I ordered for delivery, the food look old & over cooked, in other words the food was re cooked, re- refried. Never again

I think I found my new favorite Chinese food restaurant. I was in the mood for Food Court Type Chinese food (Don't act like you don't go to the mall food court and indulge in a few samples) but I got way more than when I expected. I ordered the general tso chicken and it came with a few pieces of crunchy broccoli like I expected and perfectly cooked white rice. The chicken was so juicy and tender with plenty of that savory sauce!! I even ate the egg roll, which I normally throw into the trash. This was my first time and I will definitely order again! Thanks guys for the free extra coke and fast deliver! (Faster than Uber eats) I hope this was helpful!

Ordered take out from Ming Yuan Restaurant on a Wednesday afternoon. I ordered a large order of the General Tso's Chicken and a large order of the Fried Krab Rangoon. Quality Possibly the best take-out Chinese food I have had yet in Miami, but still has much room for improvement. The General Tso's Chicken was solid with huge chunks of tender chicken in a delicious sauce that was just a little spicy. It also came with a good deal of broccoli, which added another element to the meal. My issue was that it came with white rice, which I know is actually how it is supposed to be served, but I greatly prefer fried rice. However, the Fried Krab Rangoon made up for it because it was tremendous. Perfectly crispy triangular wontons with the perfect warm cream cheese to crab ratio. Then they served it with a delicious sauce that just completed the flavor. Quantity I ordered the larger portions of the dishes and they were certainly large. The only thing I could have used more of was the rice, which seemed too small for the larger quantity of chicken. Value Pretty solid value. Take-out Chinese is always reasonable, and Ming Yuan is no difference. Ambiance Ming Yuan Restaurant is located a little north of the the main stretch of Wynwood. Even though there are a few booths inside the restaurant it is not a place I would ever recommend eating in. It is set up primarily as a take-out and delivery joint, with the restaurant basically spilling over into the ordering area. They had a small old television on full volume playing a telanovela. Then they had a boombox underneath it that was also blasting music. It was a decent day outside, but even so they chose to have like five or six fans going instead of air conditioning. They also had the door propped open, so easy access for critters I guess. I feel like it is food that really needs a bit more mystery. Crowd I was only there for a few minutes, but people were constantly coming in grabbing food and heading right out. I would say in under ten minutes there was about seven other orders that went out. They clearly have high demand and it makes sense. Service I ordered at the counter and the girl was great and seemed to be fluent in English, Spanish, and Chinese, I was very impressed. The food came out extremely fast so it is also a place you should be head over to the moment you call and order. Parking They have a bunch of street parking in the area, just make sure you read the signs because there seemed to be a lot of tow-away zones. Extra Ming Yuan Restaurant definitely belongs in the upper tier of take-out Chinese food in Miami. The Fried Krab Rangoon are about as good as they come and despite the use of white rice, the General Tso's Chicken was still solid. It is a bit far from my home, but it makes sense if in the area. They should definitely also consider extending the hours, 9pm is so early to close for a Chinese food place.

I'll start with a positive: I actually really liked the anime-themed decor. It's unique, fun, and definitely adds personality to the space. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The customer service wasn't great. It felt inattentive and unwelcoming, which immediately set the tone for the meal. We ordered two servings of crab rangoon, and I was honestly shocked at both the price and the quality. To put it simply it was the worst crab rangoon I've ever had. They tasted like they were deep-fried in old oil, with that heavy, stale aftertaste. They didn't seem fresh at all more like something pulled from a freezer and quickly dropped into the fryer. When I opened them up, there was barely any filling besides cream cheese. I couldn't find any actual crab inside, which was really disappointing, especially considering how much they charged for them. I was genuinely sad about how much money we spent on those two orders, only to be completely let down. I love supporting unique, themed spots and the anime vibe really had potential but unfortunately, the food quality and service just didn't meet expectations. I hope they improve because the concept itself is cute.

This Chinese…read morerestaurant is near my home and I frequently see it, but had never tried it until I noticed that the place I usually go for Chinese food was not on any of my delivery apps. Consequently, when I decided it was a night for takeout and eating in front of the television, I figured why not. Canton Lee has a nice menu with all of the usual Chinese American choices. They have both lunch and combination dinner specials, which are very reasonably priced. But what really struck me was did they list all of my favorite dishes for takeout and they are well priced as well. My mother, a blessed memory, and still the love of Chinese food and me, and she would never start a meal without three distinct things. Wonton soup, spareribs (on the bone, of course), and egg roll. I ordered these items and they're not just tasted great but they were so good thst they even were able to bring back. Great memories (Sidenote: Dad loved pork strips and yatke mein soup which I rarely find these days.). Moving onto the main dishes, I ordered the Dragon and Phoenix, which is a mixture of sautéed shrimp and orange chicken. Their iteration is not spicy like I prefer, but it's really good. I love that. The chicken is still crispy even for takeout and is always nice, moist chicken breast. Maybe next time I will ask if they make it spicy. The second Dish that I ordered is Assorted Wonton which is beef, chicken and shrimp. Sautéed in a garlic sauce with pork wontons. The vegetables mixed in are extremely fresh and the sauce is delicious. I like this dish a lot although the wontons are these flat things that are a little bit strange to me and I would prefer the more robust ones I have had at other restaurants. The young chow fried rice is a huge hit for me as it is not only delicious but a huge quantity is packed into the container. Mixed into the rice, our combination of meat, chicken, and seafood, making this a perfect side dish or even main dish. There are many things in the menu I'd like to try but have not gotten around to yet. Regrettably I forgot to take pictures, but will add them at some point. I cannot comment on the ambience. as I have not been to the restaurant. What I can say, however is the both times that I have ordered the food was delivered quicker than expected. It arrives hot. Perhaps the only complaint that I have and it is not a very big one is that when I do the takeout order I check off the box to include utensils and plates, but neither time were they included. Again, not a big deal, but they should not offer that if they're not going to do it. So overall, I'm rating this specifically as a takeout restaurant as this is the only experience I have with them and as far as that goes, they are at the top of my list.

My wife is a fan of honey chicken, and the reviews that I read online spoke highly of it. This dish did not disappoint at all. Lightly breaded unlike so many Chinese restaurants where you have to dig for the chicken through a very starchy coating. This was delicious moist chicken breast with a light and tasty breading. The honey sauce was in a separate container, which was nice as the food arrived. Still crispy and delicious. We all enjoyed this dish immensely. The second dish we ordered was called Four Seasons, presumably for the four proteins which were chicken, pork, shrimp, and beef. The shrimp was described as Jumbo shrimp but calling them jumbo would be a stretch and the fact that they were difficult to even find in the dish as I think there were only two or three total. The beef and chicken were cooked reasonably, but the pork must've been cooked a while before the dish and was so tough and difficult to chew that I gave up and threw it out. The vegetables were overcut as well and were soggy and essentially tasteless. Exact opposite of the honey chicken this is a dish that I could never recommend. Lastly was the shrimp fried rice. There were a fair amount of shrimp although they didn't seem to be well distributed to the rice and all seem to be near the top of the container. That may have been coincidence. The rice itself was a bit salty otherwise had virtually no flavor. It was very disappointing. Overall, the delivery was quick and the honey chicken was superb. The rest of the meal was not memorable and there are too many places with better overall food for me too risk another disappointment by ordering from there again. Although I might just order some honey chicken and skip the rest.
