Pineapple Fried Rice

Last weekend I visited the Thai restaurant bonding. It's a very nice restaurant but casual. I went with another couple and all four of us enjoyed our meals and were very satisfied. I ordered the Tom Yum soup with extra Thai hot chili and I loved the spices and heat the soup had. I also ordered the volcano chicken and really enjoyed the spices and heat. All of the meals were packed with flavor and large portions, which left us leaving very full. The presentation of the food was also very nice and made the experience more elevated. The staff was extremely nice and very attentive. I highly recommend.

Bonding is in a prime spot right across from Brickell City Centre, so it's super easy to pop in. I got the chicken pad Thai from the $16 special and it was actually really good, the portion was big and it hit the spot. The shrimp buns though... total miss, they had no flavor at all. Service was okay, but the lady who took care of us was really sweet which made it nicer. Between three of us we ordered 2 apps, 3 plates, and dessert, and the bill came out to $125. Overall, decent but not amazing so I'd give it 3 stars.

My friend and I absolutely love this restaurant, we tried a variety of dishes including Tom Yum soup, green curry, Pad Thai, and fried rice--and everything was delicious. The green curry and Pad Thai stood out in particular for their authentic flavors, truly exceeded our expectations. Be sure to try the Thai tea too!

Overall, I would rate this establishment a commendable 3.5. The service was notably courteous, and the Thai cuisine, for the most part, was quite satisfactory. Their unique position as one of the few Thai dining options in the Brickell/Downtown area certainly works in their favor. I commenced my meal with the papaya salad, which was exemplary. Following that, the green curry proved to be very good as well. However, the Pad Thai was rather insipid, and the meat quality--both chicken and beef--was merely average. For dessert, the fried banana, although interesting, was overly fried. Despite these few flaws, I would consider a return visit. The overall dining experience was average, yet it remains a reasonable choice for Thai cuisine in the area. Plus the ambiance is nice. Nonetheless, I find myself unable to quite justify a full 4 stars.

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years. The quality of the food and service stands out among the mostly average restaurants found throughout Brickell. The two servers, Oum and Mike, are courteous and kind, providing attentive service always with a smile. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, especially my favorite--the red curry with vegetables. You will not be disappointed, I certainly have never been in the more than 50 visits.

Great service, wonderful experience, best thai food i've had in Miami to date. We had the pineapple rice, lettuce wraps, and pad thai. We also made it in for happy hour and Thai beers were $5 each!

This is a nice Thai restaurant behind Suit Supply behind Bricknell City Center shopping mall. I came here a year ago and this time I brought my husband for dinner. We arrived during happy hour. Food: you scan QR code for the menu. Since we arrived at happy hour, we ordered we got the fried gyoza for appetizers at happy hour prices. They were okay, the skin was a bit thick and the filling was lacking, but they were crunchy. I loved the green curry last time, so I ordered that again. The description said bamboo shoots and green beans. The dish came out temperature hot which I like and generous bowl of jasmine rice. The curry was a generous portion and packed full of bamboo shoots, but green beans were lacking, 3 in total, and overcooked. But I like the green curry flavor. I asked them to make me sweat for spice level and they delivered, I got some sweat around my eyes. My husband ordered the red curry, it also was supposed to have green beans, but he had 1. He was not happy with his dish and did not finish it. The experience will be based on what you order. I recommend green curry and not the red. Service: above average, our waiter has a good sense of humor, he was attentive and made sure we had water in our glasses. Asked if we wanted more beer, and just made sure we had everything we needed. Restaurant cleanliness: average Bathroom cleanliness: average

Had a great time at Bonding! Definitely try the Bangkok chicken wings and the passion fruit sake. The service was great and I loved the vibe. I will definitely be back SOON!

Drive quickly on South Miami Avenue and you'll miss one of the original Thai places in the Brickell area. Although the wall mural points out the opening as 12/12/12, it feels like a cozy institution, like it's been in the Brickell area forever. Their seating runs the gamut from dog-friendly outside, to both the bar and tables inside. Service was really attentive, and the food tasty. The volcano chicken I enjoyed had a sweet bit of hear to it, and the milk tea was a great dessert.

Is this a more casual place or nice? Trying to figure out how to come dressed. You never know with Miami.

Casual, not fancy at all. Shorts and t-shirts type of place, plus business casual crowd for lunch.

Very warm, serene vibe with neutral tones. Definitely the kind of place you'd come to unwind and just enjoy good sushi without any chaos. Parking: Street parking is available, but it is paid, so keep that in mind before pulling up. The servers were very helpful and kind overall. My only complaint is that food came out a bit slow, especially considering it wasn't very busy at the time. Like serve me all my orders all at once pleaseeeeee so I can indulge lol What I Had: _________________ Sashimi Assortment - 10/10 Freaking delicious. Light, decadent, and incredibly fresh. Each piece tasted clean and high-quality, the kind of sashimi that melts the second it hits your mouth. They did their thing! Kanpachi Sashimi - 10/10 So good. Soft, delicate, and perfectly fresh. Every bite was balanced and flavorful without being heavy at all. Nigiri - White Fish Tasting - 11/10 Hands down my favorite part of my experience. I ordered multiple rounds (they come two per order), including branzino and snapper. The branzino was unreal. I wanted only branzino... that is how marvelous it was. Topped with this umami crunch that added so much texture and flavor. It was literally mouthwatering, like a burst of flavor in every bite. I honestly could've kept ordering this all night. Nigiri - Bluefin Tuna Tasting - 5/10 This one just wasn't for me. It wasn't fishy, but the texture was very slimy and didn't sit well in my mouth. It didn't swallow smoothly and just wasn't appetizing to me personally. Definitely a pass. Blue Crab Hand Roll - 6.5/10 I know this is a fan favorite, but it was just okay for me. Not bad at all, just didn't wow me compared to everything else I had. For $6, it's fine, but I wouldn't rush to reorder it. Customer Service: 8.5/10 Friendly and helpful, just slightly slow. Overall Experience: 9/10 Will I Be Back? Yes, absolutely. This establishment has been TAMIED™

Overhyped? The…read morerestaurant is a bit hard to find. There are a number of parking lots and valet across the street charging a flat rate of $20. There is a small ramp leading you up to the restaurant which can be easily missed if you don't know what to look for. I had made reservations earlier in the day through Open Table and had to wait a short while to be seated. I had indicated in the reservation that we were coming to celebrate a birthday but none of the staff acknowledged this. The restaurant was busy but not too loud. Despite hearing a lot about the ambiance, I did not think the decor was anything out of this world. Given that this was our first time at the restaurant, we took our time looking over the menu. I felt that the waitress was a bit impatient and wanted us to make up our minds. She never offered any suggestions and when we told her we needed a minute she took that literally and did not seem happy we needed more than the additional 60 seconds she provided. We ordered the crispy rice (2 pieces tuna and 2 pieces salmon), the classic ceviche, Paper Tuna roll, Salmon Furai roll, Spicy Tuna roll, and Hamachi Jalapeño roll. I had indicated to the waitress that we wanted the crispy rice and ceviche to start with the rolls brought afterwards, but the sushi came out before anything else. She then brought out the wrong ceviche and the proper order was not brought out until the end of our meal. Despite these mishaps, the table agreed that the food was good. We felt that the ceviche was a bit small but this may have been due to the kitchen rushing the order out. While the sushi was tasty, there are plenty of other sushi spots around Miami that offer similar rolls. Towards the end of our meal, we secretly asked our waitress to bring out a dessert as a surprise to the birthday guest. She then proceeded to clear the table, bring out spoons, and announce that the dessert would be out shortly. Overall, I would not come here to celebrate a special occasion. The service was disappointing and while the food was good, there wasn't anything unique that would justify coming out to Brickell to eat here again.

All the plates and dishes were just so stunning. The other thing that really stood out was the service. They were so friendly and helpful. I truly appreciate when servers know their menu well and are able to make suggestions. I can't remember my server's name, but she was just top-notch. We ordered: - Miso soup, (served in a charming, Japanese chawan mushi cup) the flavor was really good and strong. (I hate it when it's weak) - Spicy dumplings. They tasted homemade. Yummy - Shrimp shu mai, good, tasted as it should - Tanaka roll, with extra crispies on top, (I was not a fan because I did not expect it to be deep-fried. if it had not been deep-fried, I would've liked it.) - Peking duck served in an impressive three tier tower that looks like a round Chinese Temple. - Pork Belly Bao bun, this was also a miss for me because I expected it to taste like barbecue, but it was just really salty like they used a lot of brown salty sauce. All in all, I really enjoyed this restaurant, even though I didn't like those two items. Bec But, because of the excellent service, the atmosphere and the beautiful way they served the food, I decided to leave them a five star review. Those dishes weren't bad they just weren't what I expected. We don't live in the area so if we were to stay in this hotel again, we would definitely dine here again. I'd like to try some of the other items on the menu. You should give this Restaurant a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.
