Had dinner with Family at Bonding and man it's been a while since I've been here. Sad to see they weren't serving sushi any more because I really enjoyed it here back in the day. Had the Chicken Pad Thai , chicken friend rice, some apps and to finish it all of the donuts! Everything was fresh, tasted good and was a great place to have food with family. The decor was nice and clean and our server was very friendly. Not sure if the AC was down when we went but it was a little hot inside. Overall good experience and it was nice to visit again after so many years. read more

Last weekend I visited the Thai restaurant bonding. It's a very nice restaurant but casual. I went with another couple and all four of us enjoyed our meals and were very satisfied. I ordered the Tom Yum soup with extra Thai hot chili and I loved the spices and heat the soup had. I also ordered the volcano chicken and really enjoyed the spices and heat. All of the meals were packed with flavor and large portions, which left us leaving very full. The presentation of the food was also very nice and made the experience more elevated. The staff was extremely nice and very attentive. I highly recommend. read more

Thai food holds a special place in my heart. And bonding Thai in Brickell for sure tugged my hearts strings. The place is small and intimate with a great spring like feeling. The service was fast and attentive and the food was amazing. The duck bao buns featured braised bbq shredded duck which was a first for me but was delicious nonetheless. The khao soi was te highlight for me having a perfect combination of sweet coconut milk, spices and lime. The pineapple fried rice didn't disappoint at all especially with the size perfectly meant for sharing. I would definitely recommend this place to any Thai food loving friends and will definitely make my way back soon to try other parts of the menu. read more

Bonding is in a prime spot right across from Brickell City Centre, so it's super easy to pop in. I got the chicken pad Thai from the $16 special and it was actually really good, the portion was big and it hit the spot. The shrimp buns though... total miss, they had no flavor at all. Service was okay, but the lady who took care of us was really sweet which made it nicer. Between three of us we ordered 2 apps, 3 plates, and dessert, and the bill came out to $125. Overall, decent but not amazing so I'd give it 3 stars. read more

My friend and I absolutely love this restaurant, we tried a variety of dishes including Tom Yum soup, green curry, Pad Thai, and fried rice--and everything was delicious. The green curry and Pad Thai stood out in particular for their authentic flavors, truly exceeded our expectations. Be sure to try the Thai tea too! read more

This place is INSANELY good. The curry is out of this world. I crave this curry it almost every month, and nothing but this exact curry can satisfy! The vibe is unassuming from the outside, but the restaurant has a nice charm to it. The service is always wonderful. Never a miss here! read more

Amazing Thai food from a hole in the wall in Brickell. We have lived across from this place for 13 years. We always passed it by because it was small and didn't seem busy. Went tonight and I would say it's amongst the best Thai I've had. And give been to Bangkok and eaten at the Blue Elephant. I'm not saying it was better than that. And the food is pretty standard fair. But there are more options than you think because every dish can be chicken, pork, beef, duck or tofu. I had the Tom Yum Goong (shrimp) Thai spicy. It was hot enough I had to have a second Thai iced tea, but didn't kill me. Also had the Soft Shell Crab Bao Buns. Chicken Lettuce wraps, shrimp red curry (normal spicy), sea food ramen tom yum soup (mild) and Basil Crispy Duck (mild). All were great. Service was top notch. I mean these guys work their ass off. Waters were constantly full (I drank 8+ glasses). And the portions were large. If I had critiques it's that the Basil Crispy Duck was dry. Dip it in the red curry and viola. Amazing. The difference between Thai spicy Tom Yum and normal Spicy Red Curry was pretty huge. Finally, the interior is old and falling apart - but ai know a lot of restaurants are struggling, so I understand. read more

The service here is pleasing. They smile at you and make sure you are pleased with what you order. My friend and I ordered off the happy hour menu. We ordered the pork buns, shrimp "cigar", and vegetables spring roll l The food was very underwhelming. read more

A bit confusing because the take out part is called Daek but restaurant is Bonding. Food was phenomenal. Chicken was high quality and plentiful in the red curry. Pad See Eew had incredible flavorful and was a large portion. Tom Ka soup was creamy with great coconut flavor and the goyoza dipping sauce had black sesame seeds which was unusual and delicious. Three of us split this and had leftovers read more

Overall, I would rate this establishment a commendable 3.5. The service was notably courteous, and the Thai cuisine, for the most part, was quite satisfactory. Their unique position as one of the few Thai dining options in the Brickell/Downtown area certainly works in their favor. I commenced my meal with the papaya salad, which was exemplary. Following that, the green curry proved to be very good as well. However, the Pad Thai was rather insipid, and the meat quality--both chicken and beef--was merely average. For dessert, the fried banana, although interesting, was overly fried. Despite these few flaws, I would consider a return visit. The overall dining experience was average, yet it remains a reasonable choice for Thai cuisine in the area. Plus the ambiance is nice. Nonetheless, I find myself unable to quite justify a full 4 stars. read more

Decent but not fantastic Thai food. Food: had fried dumplings for appetizers, and they were ok. Green curry was really runny and the chicken had zero flavor. Curry had a decent flavor but no flavor chicken was a bit tough. Combined with the runniness, the curry was just ok. This is a nice Thai restaurant behind Suit Supply behind Bricknell City Center shopping mall. I came here a year ago and this time I brought my husband for dinner. We arrived during happy hour. Food: you scan QR code for the menu. Since we arrived at happy hour, we ordered we got the fried gyoza for appetizers at happy hour prices. They were okay, the skin was a bit thick and the filling was lacking, but they were crunchy. I loved the green curry last time, so I ordered that again. The description said bamboo shoots and green beans. The dish came out temperature hot which I like and generous bowl of jasmine rice. The curry was a generous portion and packed full of bamboo shoots, but green beans were lacking, 3 in total, and overcooked. But I like the green curry flavor. I asked them to make me sweat for spice level and they delivered, I got some sweat around my eyes. My husband ordered the red curry, it also was supposed to have green beans, but he had 1. He was not happy with his dish and did not finish it. The experience will be based on what you order. I recommend green curry and not the red. Service: above average, our waiter has a good sense of humor, he was attentive and made sure we had water in our glasses. Asked if we wanted more beer, and just made sure we had everything we needed. Restaurant cleanliness: average Bathroom cleanliness: average read more

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years. The quality of the food and service stands out among the mostly average restaurants found throughout Brickell. The two servers, Oum and Mike, are courteous and kind, providing attentive service always with a smile. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, especially my favorite--the red curry with vegetables. You will not be disappointed, I certainly have never been in the more than 50 visits. read more

Drive quickly on South Miami Avenue and you'll miss one of the original Thai places in the Brickell area. Although the wall mural points out the opening as 12/12/12, it feels like a cozy institution, like it's been in the Brickell area forever. Their seating runs the gamut from dog-friendly outside, to both the bar and tables inside. Service was really attentive, and the food tasty. The volcano chicken I enjoyed had a sweet bit of hear to it, and the milk tea was a great dessert. read more

Pretty good! I really like that their food isn't too oily which can sometimes can be a toss up with Thai food. We got pad Thai, fried rice, and papaya salad. It was all pretty tasty! I haven't eaten there yet know takeout but the staff were nice when I went to pick up the food. :) I think it's a little expensive but it's also Miami so makes sense. read more

I've been wanting to go here for Years ! I always drive by it in brickell. Thai is one of my fav cuisines so the bar was high ! This thai is some of the best Thai I've had in Miami. My friend and I were sat down with no reservation. We ordered a green curry and massam curry. Both were so yummy ! My personal fav was the green curry. It was so rich with flavor. The Massam curry tasted as good as a grandma would make it. This is a really cute date spot btw. Pay by phone street parking. I will definitely go back here. I highly recommend this Thai spot for the curries. read more

It's a quick option for Thai food in the Brickell area. It has a decent menu with a variety of options available. Service was top notch with attention to detail and quick turn around times. Excellent wait staff. The Brickell undercity resident taking up a table outside and sleeping with their feet blocking the door wasn't exactly what I expected for a doorman, but he wasn't bothering anyone. Similarly but unrelated, the smell of an open bathroom door permeated throughout the restaurant, which was mildly upsetting, but the food wasn't affected. Overall decent experience if you've got no other option and you're locked into eating Thai with someone in Brickell. read more

First time visiting this spot. We sat outside due to covid. Service was amazing, the staff was super friendly and really helpful. Our Pad Thai was amazing, we ordered the bag of gold for our appetizer. Although it was super good, I couldn't really get a taste for the shrimp, still super good and would recommend!! The only thing I wasn't too blown away with was the Mexican roll, it was good but in my opinion the jalapeño overpowered the roll. I'm happy I tried tho, definitely not your conventional sushi roll. Would definitely come back to try more dishes! read more

Bonding is the Thai restaurant we deserve in Miami. I have never been to Thailand, but this restaurant is consistent in its delicious food, attentive service and glammed up mood. I recently had the green curry with chicken and it was exactly what I picture having in a trendy Bangkok brasserie or at a seaside terrace in Phuket. The ratio of coconut milk and broth was delicately balanced, and I noticed that it had both stewed and fresh green beans. It was deeply satisfying and comforting. The decor is trendy with paper lamps, neon and contemporary furniture. On a prevIous visit I had the Massaman curry and the fragrant ingredients were so well selected I could have sworn it was made with cognac. This is an excellent choice for Thai food in Miami. read more

Bonding - Pad See Ew, Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice, Tom Ka Kai Soup - Sushi Bars Near Me - Miami, Florida

I visited this restaurant last night with family. At first, the service was great, the servers were attentive and brought our food out fairly quick. I had been looking over the menu prior to ordering; I have a severe peanut allergy and shellfish allergy. I had ordered the Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice without the shrimp. As pictured below, it clearly says the only nuts included are cashews. When my food was brought out to me, I saw nuts on the plate that didn't look like cashews. I will admit, I should've immediately asked for a new plate but, I digress. I began to eat my food, almost immediately I noticed that my mouth began to itch, my lips became irritated and the inside of my mouth felt irritated as well. I ate around the nuts that were on my plate, however, I didn't feel good eating it. My stomach began to hurt so I had gone to the bathroom. My family had asked the server what was in my meal, she said it was in fact peanuts and NOT cashews. We left the restaurant after one of the servers had given me a Benadryl. I then had to be taken to the ER where I spent the rest of my evening and hadn't gone home until 12:35am. I was given medicine to stabilize my symptoms via IV. I'm thankful to be well and not be in a worse state health wise. However, it's upsetting that their menu wasn't updated. Food allergies when not attended to immediately can have fatal outcomes. (15 minutes to be exact) I advise anyone and everyone to always double check menus and triple check with your server and/or chef when visiting a place that potentially has ingredients/foods that may cause allergic reactions. I was also a little sad to hear, while I was in the bathroom, the servers didn't seem to concerned about my allergic reaction which is careless and unkind. I will not be eating here again and don't recommend eating here if have any kind of NUT allergies. Hope that this helps someone! read more

I was really disappointed with the food. We had the steamed gyoza and it was really cold, the noodles my mom ordered came with about 4 noodles the rest was chicken & a lot of vegetables. Went looking for a good spot for dinner. Stumbled across this restaurant. The food was exceptional. I'm so glad I went for it. The service was impeccable. They were fast, willing to explain the dishes, made recommendations--great ones, and overall provided an excellent dining experience. I ordered red snapper. It was not the whole fish I usually get but I took a chance. It exceeded expectations. I didn't need the whole fish to dig through bones. It was flavorful and easy to consume. I'm posting a pic. Service was definitely off the evening we came. Our large party had called to make reservations and even confirmed with them earlier that day. However, when our group arrived, they were not prepared for us and had to hurry the table that was seated before us. Our waiter also seemed very aloof and was not very attentive. As for food, my duck noodle soup was simply prepared and pretty straight forward. I found the wonton chips to be unnecessary though as they weren't very crisp and didn't taste fresh. The duck itself was tender but not very flavorful. Everyone else at my table did seem to enjoy their meals without much complaint. As a note, their curries are apparently pre-made and they were not able to accommodate my vegetarian friend. Food: 3 Value: 3 Service: 1.5 read more
