Service was definitely off the evening we came. Our large party had called to make reservations and even confirmed with them earlier that day. However, when our group arrived, they were not prepared for us and had to hurry the table that was seated before us. Our waiter also seemed very aloof and was not very attentive. As for food, my duck noodle soup was simply prepared and pretty straight forward. I found the wonton chips to be unnecessary though as they weren't very crisp and didn't taste fresh. I recommend the pad Thai, it was a blend of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy. It has a great combination of fish sauce saltiness and sugar sweetness. The owner is passionate about the food and it shows - I don't think I have ever had a bad dish here or at any other of his locations. Happy hour is phenomenal - $3 wine! And its GOOD WINE! They also have several menu items for only $5 , including but not limited to their spicy tuna roll which I love. Service is top notch. Even while sitting at the bar, the servers come around constantly to make sure your glass is full (and your belly is too!) I am partial to their decor because of its pretty pink walls that go perfectly with their while chairs. It's really just lovely. Appetizers range from 9 to 20 which includes basic food that you can get at another restaurant for half the price. My partner and I tried their "bag of gold" fried dumpling it didn't blow my mind but the presentation was nice. Entrees are 20 and up. The food portion is good and the taste was good not amazing. We actually had smelled Asian cuisine in one of the furniture stores... (One of the employees was eating Asian foods in the back room of their furniture back room...) They start you off with chinese complimentary soup if you want it, (it does have chicken it though if you eat only vegetarian...) I decided to get pad thai with shrimp with thai hot spiciness. It tasted amazing. My friend Pahola ate fried rice which she enjoyed. We were too full to try dessert. But next I would love to try their sushi rolls. They have a variety in those and seem very creative. Their dinner menu seems really big with many options. If your in the Brickell area this place is a must.
