I ordered the Miso Ramen with chicken and pork belly on the waiter's recommendation, and it delivered -- incredible flavor, and a bigger portion than I expected, so I happily shared. The presentation looked straight out of a menu photo. My wife had the Pad Woon Sen with chicken, which was really good, and I also tried the Pad Thai (chicken, medium heat). I've had Pad Thai all over Miami, and this was better than most spots I've been to -- genuinely surprised by how good it was. Service was fast, and the place has a quaint, laid-back Asian feel that made me comfortable rolling in wearing shorts. We finished with the Thai donuts. Really good, though I'll admit donuts are hard to mess up. Bottom line: I'd recommend 107 Taste, and I'll be back the next time I'm craving ramen. read more

I just came back from Tallahassee from fsu to see my family for the Thanksgiving break, and this was one restaurant we chose to have dinner at to celebrate. Cindy T was our waitress, and she truly made our experience memorable. She was very nice and attentive! The food was so yummy! My sister tried tteokbokki for the first time, and she loved it (have in mind she is a picky eater haha)! I tried the miso ramen this time, and omg the wontons were so flavorful. Excellent Chinese place. 107 Taste, it an elevated version of your typical fast food Chinese cuisine restaurant. The place is situated in a nice area of Gables, and the aesthetics inside are definitely above your typical Chinese place. I only tried their fried rice - I did the pork fried rice and added shrimp (as they do not offer a special fried rice with all the proteins), but couldn't have been happier. The shrimp addition was $4.50 and it included 6 large delicious shrimps. And the pork was chef's kiss. The irony of it all is that my favorite Chinese fried rice is made by a Cuban restaurant called Islas Canarias in coral Way and 137th ave. From them, I like to remove the green bell peppers and go light of bean sprouts and scallions, or remove them altogether. Theirs is super tasty and while their shrimp are tiny, you get a ton of them. Enough to get 1-3 per bite. 107 Taste raises the bar for typical 'fast food' Chinese. They even bring you three complimentary (maybe because there were two of us) small egg rolls that were perfectly and delicately crispy with a nice sweet dipping sauce. We got there 10 minutes before closing and at first the lady in charge wanted to push us to take out, but since I had called a few minutes before to ensure they'd served us, I reminded her she had just told me that they did sit down until 5 minutes before closing and were there 10 minutes before (if you want to split hairs). So she somewhat reluctantly agreed to sit us down. In the end she was accommodating and polite, and provided us great service. I told a friend about my experience and he said he'd order from the Kendall location all the time and that it was quality food, that the orange (or was it honey) chicken always had solid pieces of white meat chicken inside. I'll definitely be coming by again and trying their Kendall location. read more

We had a fever for Thai Food and 107 Taste was the prescription! Located on Alcazar Ave in Coral Gables this Thai spot is a little hidden gem. I've been to other 107 Taste locations and honestly didn't even know this one existed until I was looking for a local Thai restaurant. We ordered for take out. Pick up was super easy. Restaurant was relatively small compared to other 107 Taste locations I've been too. But the atmosphere felt very cozy. Staff was very friendly. We ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and it was perfect. We also thought it was priced right for the serving. We parked on the street easily but I believe there are also parking lots nearby. Came here for lunch before a concert. This restaurant is nice and clean. The service was good! The food was amazing. We ordered the avocado crab eggrolls, bbq pork cheesy noodle of fire and the pad thai lunch special with salad and pork fried gyoza. The eggrols was cooked perfectly with a great portion of the crab and avocado. Loved that there was hoisin and spicy mayo on it. Came here with a coworker for lunch. The space is really cute and the service was good. I ordered the Tonkotsu. It is my very favorite ramen. I was confused when the waiter asked me what protein I wanted and that should have a warning sign. It's supposed be with chashu. I ordered it with the pork. When the bowl was served, the first thing that hit me was the smell of garlic. I took a sip of the broth and the taste of garlic was over whelming. Don't get me wrong, I love garlic but this was more than a bit much. The taste of the garlic wasn't even fresh tasting garlic but the minced kind that comes in a jar which has a particular flavor. My coworker could not finish his and neither could I. The pork was not the traditional sliced chashu but chunks of pork. The upside of the ramen were the noodles. They were cooked perfectly. We both went back to work where we spent the rest of the day burping up garlic. It stayed with us the rest of the day and into the night. Best Asian Restaurant in Miami! I wish I would have found this gem sooner. I lived around the corner for a year and now I'm moving. Don't be like me but try this place out sooner than later. A very cozy and cute restaurant, you feel like your on a movie set, its adorable. Everyone always greets and welcomes you and helps you decide because everything looks so good. The space is relatively small, but there are alot of table option and there was a perfect large circle table to accommodate our party of 6. I've been to this small Thai/Chinese restaurant 3 times, and will continue to come here. The Ma Po tofu is special. It has ground pork and the Sichuan peppercorns will leave you numb and tingling. It's a spicy dish, and you can tell they're proud of it because there's a big picture of a plate of it outside. I've also had the Pineapple Fried Rice with chicken--you can pick the protein. You'll keep getting it if you try it once. It's addicting. The Singapore noodles is another standout dish. Ask them about the spice levels, if you're sensitive. I would rate it a 3 out of 5 on spice. The Ma Po tofu is about a 4 Out of 5, but you can easily soften the spice on the Ma Po with the white rice. read more

The vibe is so good with the funk Asian movies music inside and although there is only one Asian family and the rest are white or Mexican I can't really tell this place seems very authentic still. Went here for Mother's Day. Not busy. Staff was very nice. This is a step up from Pei Wei. We ordered the pork buns, edamame, fried rice, orange chicken, and the miso ramen. All were good except for the ramen. Everyone at the table had the same opinion on the ramen. Needless to say we did not touch it again after the first smell. I will not describe what it smelled like because it was a true displeasure. We put it to the side and left it whole. Thinking back I should have returned it to the kitchen. The prices were fair.
