Not accommodating whatsoever. (Celiac, gluten free) Walked up with no reservations and got a sat down immediately. Ordered two coffees while looking at the menu. As a celiac I asked what rolls are able to be made gluten free by simply removing topping like the crunch or eel sauce. Felt like a huge inconvenience because of my allergy. The waitress did not know what was on the menu at all, could not list the ingredients in spicy mayo. I asked for someone who specializes in gluten free or knows the menu well, even if that meant the chef. She said the chef will not come out and that no specializations will be made as an accommodation. She sent over someone else so I asked what was in the spicy mayo and got a whole lot of "mayo, ummmmm, siracha, ummmm, masago, ummmm" indicating uncertainty. Went to the Brickel location tonight and was very disappointed. Any fish item we ordered was not fresh and tasted off. The shrimp tempura for example was low quality. The food was amazing my favorite appetizer was the Moshi Moshi Chicken Wings they were so crispy and the sauce they came tossed in was so delicious. The Grande Moshi Moshi roll was way bigger than I was expecting but all the fish tasted really fresh and it was delicious, we loved every roll we tried. Everything was great from the service to the food. The ambiance is very aesthetically pleasing. I love the koi fish all over the wall when you walk into the restaurant. As an appetizer we started off with the chicken Kara-age and shrimp bao buns. The chicken was crispy on the outside and deliciously juicy on the inside. Then the shrimp bao buns were so soft, each piece of shrimp was drenched in spicy mayo which gave each bite so much flavor. The mango roll was my entree with the chicken fried rice that we shared between 3 people. The rice portion was amazing, we were all able to eat a decent amount that was filling. We also had some crispy rice tuna that my cousin ordered and it was definitely crispy and bursting with flavor. I enjoyed an espresso martini which came with a shot of baileys on the side. Noel was our server! We came here twice in one week, once for dinner and once to host for extended family in town. We were here for my sister's wedding! Noel was kind and even gave some recommendations to me for things to do in Doral & Miami! He came by to make sure things were taken cared of and would look to see if we had enough water etc. Moshi Moshi is FANTASTIC! You cannot go wrong with what you order. I LOVE the Nabeyaki Udon, it's a must to try -- the broth is unique and one of a kind in terms of flavor! The steamed lobster and crispy rice, delicious! The Wagyu roll and ramen -- please get this too! The Wagyu was perfect!! Stopped by here for a late lunch/early dinner while in Miami. My husband and I both liked the decor of the restaurant and we each ordered a roll plus fried rice, pot stickers and a dessert to share. The food was fine, we enjoyed what we got. We did feel that the service was lacking, halfway through our meal or server just disappeared and we then had a different server come and close out our tab. Please keep in mind that they automatically add an 18% gratuity to your check no matter of party size or how much or how little your order. I found that to be kind of odd. They've taken over the corner lot where Perricone's was but it looks completely different: light, bright, airy & with a distinct Japanese flair from the koi painted on the walls to the dreamy gossamer fabric on the ceiling. The hostess was lovely & super welcoming & our waiter was great too. Now for the down side... while the Miso Soup & Crab Fried Rice I ordered on the side were delicious, the lunch specials left A LOT to be desired. First off, all but 2 were pork dishes (i love the piggies too much to eat them) & 1 of the 2 was beef (love cows too much to eat them) so I had one choice and i took it. The Sashimi lunch special it was & while the crispy shrimp were good, everything else either lacked flavour or, like the salmon "ceviche" was drenched in super umami/sweet sauce. Not appetizing. I barely touched it. For a spot this close to business districts, they should really consider broadening their lunch options. A bento box would be amazing... maybe some sushi specials? One of my rolls had a fish bone in it, which I think is a first for me for sushi. The lump meat crab roll was a little washed out with heavy mayo blended in. So, couldn't really taste the crab. The himachi salsa roll had a bone in it. While I liked the green sauce on top, I didn't really taste the jalapeño. Moshi Moshi is now in a new location in Brickell a few doors away from where it used to be. It's about 10 times the size of what it used to be in the large Italian restaurant that used to be there. They have a large dining room room a nice bar and take out has a lot of choices at good prices. I can't speak for the service as I only do takeout, but the takeout people are very nice so I assume the rest of the staff is also. read more

I'm currently here at the downtown location at 4:35 am on a Friday/Saturday morning and they are stating that they are currently serving only fried rices and rolls. Which is sushi. I'm severely allergic to fish. That wouldn't suit me at all. I'm highly disappointed in Moshi Moshi. This was my favorite "late night spot". It's low key, impeccable service, and great eats. I was very fortunate to walk in during happy hour, therefore I tried a variety of dishes. Wasn't sure what to expect at Moshi Moshi as a friend had suggested this place for dinner. I didn't have a chance to look this place up but was pleasantly surprised with the food when arriving. What makes Moshi Moshi unique is the method of ordering and paying. They pride themselves on being tipless so you order your food via a QR code and actually pay first before receiving your food. This seems like it would eliminate customer service but we still had a fantastic crew serving us, bringing us sauces / drinks and getting us boxes for our leftover food. I tried out a few dishes such as the shrimp shumai, shrimp udon noodle soup and the uni nigiri. Wow. The uni was fresh and tasty. Also plated nicely. The udon noodle soup was delicious and aesthetic. My friend ordered a fried rice and I tried it. Also a great option. I love that they're open really late - until 5AM. The only thing is the parking might pose an issue. We got here around 11PM and we had a hard time finding parking as their parking lot is really small.
