I'm so absolutely disappointed. This place gave me food poisoning. The rolls were disappointing, I was getting nauseous just smelling the food. The smell when I first walked in was atrocious. It smelled like they cleaned everything with sanitizer water that had been sitting and reused for multiple days. WTF - I work at a sushi restaurant and this is insane. The appearance was great but the taste was horrible. I ordered the Hokkaido scallop roll and it was insanely fishy. There also was initiation crab inside (really bad quality one) that wasn't even mentioned on the menu to be apart of this roll. Not to mention the size of the rolls are giant and couldn't be eaten with one bite. Might as well be a burrito. Their "moshi moshi" roll was fine but again giant and the server said it was wrapped with seaweed as well as soy paper but that was not true. The wagyu roll was OK- but for $30 I am so upset. Over $100 for two people for lunch. Our server didn't even ask us how the food was. She was nice but she clearly didn't know what was in the rolls or ensure we enjoyed it. The lychee sake cocktail was undrinkable, it was too sweet but also too strong. How do you mess up a happy hour drink?? I called them and let them know I got food poisoning and they asked me if I was "allergic to anything" which is silly because I mentioned the extreme fishiness and mentioned I work with fish, the answer is no. We stumbled across Moshi Moshi traveling from California to Miami for a destination wedding! OMG! It is. Very deceiving from the outside and is soooooo cool inside. The food was Amazing! We had Miso soup, Rainbow Roll and King Salmon Mango Roll! With Eel sauce, Spicy Mayo &Siracha sauce on the side. Service is outstanding! We went on Saturday and there was a wait, so I'd recommend trying to get a reservation or trying to get on the list ahead of time. Once we got in and got seated, the service was good. Havent been here in a long time, the menu has completely changed, they still have sushi rolls, added wagyu meat to the asian dishes and a section for burgers. I got the eggplant sweet miso which was delicious, but I felt it was very small, its only one flat cut from a medium eggplant. The Spicy creamy shrimp was amazing, big shrimp and the sauce was delicious. We got the japanese curry which I thought was like thai curry but is completely different (forgive my ignorance), the plate has a green salad with nothing, just the greens (spinach, cucumber, tomato and raddish), next to white rice, fried chicken and next to this the curry which to me tasted like chili, I would not order this again. Finally we got the green tea cake which was ok, would like to try a different dessert. We also got hot sake and the final check was around $80 for 2 people. read more

This location was open and close to a performance art show I attended, so I stopped by Saturday night for dinner. Going down a corridor with neon signage and made to look sort of like a pagoda, I entered the inside dining room. There's also a terrace space outside. Once I got to my table, I enjoyed their mango sake cocktail. It was pretty well blended and was perfect to unwind from a fun evening as well as ease the Dolphins playoff loss. The chicken karage (Japanese fried chicken) I ordered as an app - but a decent enough size with maybe another side for a meal on its own - had good flavor and made even spicier with the srichacha ketchup I asked for to substitute the default mayo it comes with. Some special rolls were about half off, there were some apps, and there were some cool drink options, like Mango Sake, sangrias and mimosas. I decided to get the Tony Montana roll, the salmon sashimi tacos and seaweed salad. The sushi roll was an interesting one -- it had chicken, cream cheese, plantain, masago and passion fruit sauce on it. The cream cheese was my least favorite part, but otherwise it was unique and delicious! The tacos were good -- small on a crunchy shell and the salmon was mashed. Seaweed salad is never a miss for me, but sometimes it gets in between my teeth, ouch! I loved every drink that I had, and it was just a pleasant way to spend the afternoon!
