The Fried Calamari were HUUUGE and meaty and the flying dragon roll was so delicious, just also had a little more cream cheese than we'd prefer. The service was great, the food came out SUPER quick and everything was made hot and fresh and we almost couldn't believe how quickly everything came out. Multiple servers would stop by our table to see if we needed anything and that was great. Service was a 10/10. I fell in love with Ramen, had a little restaurant in Connecticut so really I'm a big fan of places that can make delicious Ramen and bubble tea. Naruto 88 is a fun place. And certainly does ramen right. Manga Ninja hero Naruto Uzumaki's absolute favorite food is ramen, specifically the miso-based pork broth ramen from Ichiraku Ramen. His namesake restaurant stays true to his favorite food and does it impeccably. My go to is the Chicken Tonkotsu with add dumplings. I must admit that I have not tried the sushi and do not plan to because the reviews of it are pretty mediocre. But the Ramen is top notch. The bubble teas are delicious. The vibe is just so cool. This place had a lot of hype -- not really sure why. The food was just okay, a bit on the bland side. We ordered the Volcano Roll, Kanisu Roll, and Chicken Pad Thai. The Volcano Roll barely had any of the baked seafood on top, and the Pad Thai was greasier than it needed to be, which overpowered the sauce's flavor. We still ate it since we were starving -- it did have plenty of small pieces of chicken, though. The Kanisu Roll was actually pretty good. Service was decent. We really enjoyed our weeknight dinner at this unique and epic restaurant. No waiting at 6pm on a Tuesday meant we could relax, take our time and truly enjoy the service, the meal and the decor. We ordered sushi, sashimi, bao buns, ramen and more because we wanted to try it all! What a tasty meal with leftovers to go! I love Naruto and love ramen so when we were craving a warm soup, it was a no brainer! I first found out about this place on TikTok when I saw a cute post about this themed ramen restaurant. It was a little out of our way but it's open a little later than the other places we were considering so we made the trek! I went to Naruto 88 Bistro with my cousins because we are all anime fans and this bistro DID NOT DISAPPOINT ! From the decor featuring scenes from the popular anime "Naruto" to the figurines of the characters and the music heard from the show playing in the restaurant the ambiance was everything we hoped it would be. Finally came to this heavy IG promoted ramen shop. I tried coming a few other times for dinner and the wait times where crazy so didn't bother. Finally made it on a weekday for lunch right when they open. We were the second group to come in so it was empty, but it quickly packed up. The restaurant is very small with about 10 tables so I see why sometimes there's a wait. Staff was friendly and attentive. To start we ordered the pan fried pork bao which were delicious and super packed with flavor. I really enjoyed this and I would recommend. For main we ordered the Ichiraku ramen which it supposed to be their signature ramen and I also ordered the seafood ramen. The seafood ramen broth was very flavorful and rich. It also had good amounts of seafood in them. I enjoyed this bowl. I just wish it didn't come with edamame. The Ichiraku ramen was disappointing, the broth lacked flavor and Richness and everything was kinda bland. Also has edamame.
