Amazing service, food is phenomenal, the set up is very cute and the black velvet martini is the best espresso martini I've ever had

I stopped by for lunch on a nice afternoon at the Brickell location. The signage outside was easy to see and locate from a distance and if I hadn't already planned on getting sushi the comedic sign out front would have been enough to get me through the door. The sushi chef was fantastic and knew exactly how to prepare some beautiful culinary creations. The salmon sashimi was hands down some of the best I've had in quite some time. My favorite nigiri was the spicy crab that was slightly crunchy, smothered in a cream sauce, and delicately topped on a nice rectangle of rice. Everything else was very well presented. The server did a great job as well and made me a really good lemonade mocktail from their menu. It was topped with mint and tasted of real lemons. The restaurant itself is just barstools around the sushi counter and two restrooms in the back. There is also outdoor seating on the steps outside. I would be delighted to return for more deliciousness here soon!

This place really took a turn for the worst! We had ordered from here before and it was pretty quick good. This past time we ordered it was a mess! We ordered for pick up and it took over an hour for it to be ready. The food was extremely mid. The sushi roles were rolled and cut very poorly, basically falling apart. Nothing tasted fresh. The avocado still had the skin on it. Super disappointing.

Spicy Blue Crab

I went for a quick little lunch and sat around the chef. It was like a private dining experience since no one else was there yet. I had the lunch special with the spicy blue crab hand roll, o toro nigiri and yellowfin sashimi. All delicious. I think my personal preference is less sauce on the crab roll cuz it masks it too much. But still very good. Service was quick and staff was friendly. Definitely will go back.

Bondi recently opened in my neighborhood so I was excited to try them out! I first stopped by with my husband when we were looking for a sushi spot for dinner. The inside is very intimate with a limited amount of seats. It's best if you make a reservation prior to dropping by and it's not great for large groups. The first time we had great service and hand no issues getting seated. The second time was a little different. We had a party of 5 and sat inside. Thankfully we had a reservation so we didn't have any issues getting seated! I docked stars because the service was terribly slow. There was two waiters but the restaurant was packed. We placed a large order and food started coming out as it was made but my friend didn't get her silverware after asking multiple times. She ended up getting up and getting it herself. After our appetizers all came out we placed another larger order of crispy rice and hand rolls, one of the waiters tried asking us to move outside or wrap up but once I told him we had 10 hand rolls we were waiting on he let us stay. Other guests were getting better service than us and not being asked to move although we were continuing to order throughout the night. The food was great and ingredients are fresh but definitely don't come with a party over 2!

Some vegan roll my SO ordered

We originally showed up at this address looking for a completely different restaurant -- turns out, Bondi Sushi had just taken over the space. Yelp didn't even have a listing yet for Bondi at the time, it had the old restaurant. It was so new that my SO got FTR for this place. Walking in, you could still feel the newness. It was after lunch when we arrived and the wait staff had almost no idea what to actually do with us when we walked in. Finally we just sat ourselves at the sushi counter. They were literally installing bathroom signs while we were ordering. The sushi chefs were fantastic -- super friendly and genuinely excited to talk to us. They were helpful recommending what they had and also suggesting what my SO could have as a vegan. They were also great in tossing out other restaurant and cuisine recommendations they liked around Brickell when we mentioned we were out of towners that were in town for a week on business. It felt way more like a conversation with passionate food people than a stiff "server-customer" thing, which I really appreciated. Food-wise, Bondi crushed it. I wasn't too hungry but I saw they had salmon over crispy rice. What I appreciated was that it wasn't your typical minced fish over the rice (like spicy tuna), it was the whole salmon nigiri on top of the rice. And instead of deep-frying it the rice, they air-fried it which gave it this light, delicate crisp on the outside while keeping the inside soft and fluffy. It had that satisfying crunch without feeling heavy or greasy, and the salmon was delicious -- the whole thing just worked. I could've easily downed a few more of those without blinking. We ended up back here a few days later for a dinner with clients, but because that was a business dinner, I wasn't too focused on the meal itself. Although they did provide complimentary sake because they were still under a soft opening I think (or just still in the early stages). Definitely bookmarking this one for future sushi cravings when I'm in town -- especially when I want something good without all the Brickell over-the-top-ness at other places like SexyFish.

Everything was wonderful, especially the deep fried alligator .the other seafood selection were equally delightful.

A good friend took me here for surprise birthday dinner. It was wonderful, the food was great. A good taste of simple omakase sushi bar. Service was a little slow but I think they did their best to accommodate so I am grateful. Drinks took a while. Solid place for the area, continently located for locals. Ambiance is intimate since it's just one sushi bar and seats surrounding. Quality of sushi depends on your scale but it's good for Miami. Rice falls apart when you pick it up but he tried.

This is our go-to for takeout sushi--and it never disappoints. Located right in the middle of Brickell, it's super convenient whether you're picking up dinner or stopping in for a quick bite. We're obsessed with the crispy rice and the surf & turf rolls--both are consistently fresh and flavorful. The space is small and cozy, with a chill, intimate vibe. Sit at the bar if you're dining in--it's perfect for a casual date night. Service is always quick and friendly, and our to-go orders are ready on time every time. Definitely a neighborhood gem!

This is my go to stop when I'm ordering in. They have a great bogo deal on the salmon sushi and it's so good every time.

I was familiar with the New York location so was excited to try in Brickell. I'm not sure many people know about this location yet but was fun to try with girlfriends and would be a great date night spot. There is some outside seating but I would def sit at the sushi bar. We ordered just about everything- Spicy edamame- dressing was different but not bad Yellowtail jalapeño sashimi- so good! Spicy tuna crispy rice Spicy hamachi roll Several nigiri and hand rolls Seafoam and lavender haze cocktails - super unique! Chocolate cake - good but wish it was warmed up Very cool to watch them make everything right in front of you, my first time at a sushi experience like this. Good pricing for what it is. They were out of some menu items but they had just opened so that's to be expected, not a dealbreaker. Wait staff was attentive and helpful when ordering, sushi did come out a bit slow but it was fine. Definitely try if you are in the area!

Ikura Nigiri

Great new addition to Brickell! I came in for a quick lunch with my boyfriend and we both ordered the lunch specials that they offer, which are a great deal. The bar inside is really nice and you can see the chefs preparing your sushi. The actual sushi was amazing quality, especially for the price. The chefs and manager were very friendly and attentive which was a huge plus! Will definitely become a staple of ours.

We chose the Oma Deluxe because we wanted the entire experience. Francisco explained each sushi and what part of the fish we were eating. Each dish was brought out separately. There were about 9 pieces of different cuts of fish. They were delicious! My daughter had Sake and I had Non-alcoholic beer. Both went fine with our meal. Afterwards, we were served dessert. Parking is mostly limited street parking though, so plan ahead. This spot is more about curated tastings, sashimi, nigiri, and handrolls rather than specialty rolls, so don't expect a huge roll menu. We ordered the sashimi assortment, white fish tasting, seared salmon, bluefin tuna tasting, unagi foie gras, and a few handrolls including blue crab and negi toro. Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful, especially the bluefin and unagi foie gras. Portions are on the lighter side though, so we left satisfied but not totally full. Cedrick was awesome and really made the experience better. He knew the menu inside and out and explained everything perfectly. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Wynwood and want quality sushi without the overly trendy vibe.

I highly recommend the Miso Black Cod -- it was phenomenal and had the same rich, buttery texture as Chilean sea bass. Absolutely delicious. The Wagyu Burger was also outstanding -- freshly ground, high quality, and cooked perfectly. We also tried one of their sushi rolls topped with miso and filled with fresh tuna and salmon, and it was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Our server (I didn't catch her name -- an Asian woman, possibly in her 40s) was wonderful and made our experience even more enjoyable with her attentive and warm service. We truly loved this place and are already looking forward to coming back, especially to explore more of their sushi menu. Highly recommend!

In any other city this would be decent sushi at half the price.

We got there a bit before our reservation time, and they let us sit in the smaller dining area as we waited for our spots to open up. Most memorable were the clam broth, beef loin and carrots, and the fatty tuna nigiri with caviar on top. The fatty tuna nigiri with caviar was the main reason I wanted the tasting! I started to lose my patience being that there is so much staff standing around and found myself several times having to pour my own wine bottle. 2nd, I told them it was my son's birthday and nobody went out of their way to make his birthday special! And just a fair warning, you will spend over a $1000 dollars and walk out of there still very hungry! What a disappointment! Furthermore, they price gouge people trying to pass off as if his restaurant is Michelin worthy! An absolute joke! And here's the "best part" when I tried to voice my concerns, I was told to leave! I was very polite and instead of hearing me out, trying to make my experience better, I get told to leave! How disgusting! Please don't come here. I truly appreciate when servers know their menu well and are able to make suggestions. I can't remember my server's name, but she was just top-notch. We ordered: - Miso soup, (served in a charming, Japanese chawan mushi cup) the flavor was really good and strong. (I hate it when it's weak) - Spicy dumplings. They tasted homemade. Yummy - Shrimp shu mai, good, tasted as it should - Tanaka roll, with extra crispies on top, (I was not a fan because I did not expect it to be deep-fried. if it had not been deep-fried, I would've liked it.) - Peking duck served in an impressive three tier tower that looks like a round Chinese Temple. - Pork Belly Bao bun, this was also a miss for me because I expected it to taste like barbecue, but it was just really salty like they used a lot of brown salty sauce. All in all, I really enjoyed this restaurant, even though I didn't like those two items. Bec But, because of the excellent service, the atmosphere and the beautiful way they served the food, I decided to leave them a five star review. Those dishes weren't bad they just weren't what I expected. We don't live in the area so if we were to stay in this hotel again, we would definitely dine here again.
