Such a hidden gem! I've shopped at Upper Buena Vista for years but never really walked around to the other side area, where I found this place. It's small but I loved that you can sit down and have a conversation with the chefs while they make your food. It seats about 8 inside and there's a patio area. The staff were so friendly. Thank you to Anthony for his recommendations and making an incredible meal! The rose I was served for happy hour was refreshing and paired well with my meal. Hapy hour is from 5-7. Ong the butter crab melted in your mouth. It was so good! The salmon crispy rice was great too! I liked that there was just enough rice not too much. The cucumber kimchi was refreshing! I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
Great spot for a date night! Amazing service and truly delicious food. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. I really loved their sushi rolls and we also got a bowl. It's a little pricey but that's Miami for you. It's located in a really cute shopping center that give boho chic vibes. Plenty of street parking available by this place.
I've been coming to Yoso regularly for a year now and I'm still as obsessed as when I first came! Slowly working on trying the entire menu but must have is their crispy rice and cucumber kimchi!
I was craving sushi for about a week and a friend had told me about Yoso so came in to check it out and I am so glad I did. Yoso is located in the Buena Vista area which I love. The inside of the restaurant is little but there is outdoor dining as well. The staff was polite and helpful and I loved that it is small inside because makes the experience more intimate. All the food was delicious. To start off we had the yellowtail crispy rice, which was one of my faves! My favorite of the maki rolls were the butter krab and the torched salmon. I got the spicy scallop hand roll and it was tasted refreshing with a kick. We had to try the seasonal burnt cheesecake (basque) which was yuzu and it was sooo yummy! We had a great time and I will definitely be back soon!
From the moment I walked up to the place I fell in love with it. It is a great vibe. When you walk in there is about eight stools around the sushi bar where the chefs are preparing the food. The service was amazing every single dish on the item that I tried was incredible. And the olive saki was surprisingly, very refreshing suggested by our waiter, and the fish was super fresh melted in your mouth. Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a chill Loki vibe and great food!!!!
My favorite sushi place in Miami, no competition! Yoso sushi is a small restaurant inside the biena vista shops, tucked into a corner by the juice bar. The inside is a small counter that seats maybe 6-8 people max. They also have outdoor tables but if you get there early, you'll never have a problem with seating. The food here is stellar. My top items are the dumplings (MUST GET) the yoso roll and the cheesecake is divine. I had to go back three times before I had the opportunity to try it because they would sell out! It is truly one of the best desserts in Miami!! Everything else is stellar, I've had so many of the dishes here (the menu is small) and it is the only sushi restaurant I crave time and time again. Do yourself a favor and take your self for a loved one on a date here, you'll be instantly obsessed
small cozy sushi place in upper Buena Vista. Super cute ambience very relaxed very laid-back. The server was very nice and attentive, even though he was just by himself handling multiple tables at the same time , he was doing his best. The food was good. I think the butter crab roll was the best one I've had in a long time and the warm arugula Mushroom salad was absolutely incredible. However, the sushi chef selection was not my favorite because the rice was pretty mushy and too much rice ratio for the Nigiri. I would come back to try other dishes, but definitely not going the nigiri since I don't really like the rice at all.
Hands down, the BEST sushi spot in Miami!I've tried countless others, but Yoso Sushi's authenticity, cleanliness, and insane quality have won me over! The service has always been Top-notch! Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable making us feel like family. And don't even get me started on their refreshing lemonade and yummy sake. I had a great experience at Yoso Sushi located at Upper Buena Vista. The place is adorable and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is super friendly, fun, and accommodating. Most importantly, the sushi is fresh, well prepared, and reasonably priced. I had a toro special with yuzu and truffle, also a chirashi bowl with fresh tuna, salmon, and hamachi with an arugula base and wakame. I also had torched Hokkaido scallop sashimi with a shiso leaf. Everything was excellent, accompanied by Orion Japanese Beer. Will definitely return.
While visiting the design district we strolled by the Yoso Sushi food truck and decided we could do with some lunch. I ordered the grilled avocado for the honey and a vegan roll for myself. The honey also ended up ordering a cool lychee boba to wash it down. Hands down, everything was amazing! The grilled avocado was so unusual and delicious and I adored the vegan roll. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty and we loved that there was a ton of seating to choose from, both covered and uncovered, and the service was super friendly. We would absolutely stop in again, in a heartbeat!

Gastamos $110 en total por cinco platos, incluida la propina, lo cual me parece justo. El sushi era de excelente calidad: fresco y sabroso. For those that are unfamiliar with Miami Spice during the month of August, this is exactly what restaurant owners and diners want from it. My daughter lives in Wynwood and uses August to uncover the next hidden gem. It is an intimate setting, with about 10 seats at the sushi counter. Another 3-4 cozy tables outside. The perfect spot for a Sunday dinner. Their Miami Spice menu was exceptional and one of the most generous we've ever had. The idea is to offer a wide array of menu items, in order to solicit a return trip to experience the full menu. Mission accomplished!! We had 4 appetizers, each better than the next. The kimchi cucumbers (Japanese pickles) kicked our palate in gear. Crispy rice tuna, hamach and salmon crude had the perfect ponzu style sauce and crispy rice dots for texture. Then came 2 different rolls, the spicy tuna was delicious, the yuzu hamachi stole the show. We were served a handroll that was not on the menu. Whatever it was, we wanted more. Already feeling gluttony creeping in, I still couldn't resist the salmon nigiri with ikura. The staff was amazing. They explained the menu and constantly asked for feedback, which we happily gave. I enjoyed an Orion Japanese lager and shared a bottle of unfiltered saki with my daughter. Both complimented the courses perfectly. We closed out the meal with 2 mochi ice cream selections. Sweet potato (ube) and green tea (matcha). The perfect ending to our inaugural visit to Yoso. Thank you to the staff and thank you Miami Spice. While visiting the design district we strolled by the Yoso Sushi food truck and decided we could do with some lunch. I ordered the grilled avocado for the honey and a vegan roll for myself. Great service. Very attentive. The food we have the. He'd special for two and was really good amazing salad the sushi the fish is fresh and good we love it. We order a extra roll the the shrimp tempura and was good. Definitely coming back. The place is small but super. Ice clean the tables are outside comfy chairs. There're 5 food trucks in the block. (kinda like outdoor food curt) Maybe because the food trucks located in a nice neighborhood with many international brands store so the prices are also higher than normal restaurant or food trucks in order areas. With the price of $12 for tuna rolls, I'm actually a little bit disappointed. The rolls just like rolls from supermarket but double the price. It's a nice place to hangout with friends and grab some food but with the prices I will only rate it 3 stars. read more

The food is actually pretty good here. I was skeptical about sushi at a food truck but I would recommend trying. The veggie spring rolls are very good. There are tables in front to sit. The service on the other hand needs a lot of work. They are not friendly here and lack courtesy and some levels of professionalism. I used to come here often and each time the staff seems mad, unapproachable, and gives off an unwelcoming vibe. There's many other high priced food places in the area that can be tried with much friendlier staff. read more

What a wonderful little gem! Who knew a food-truck that is so out of the way could be so sophisticated and well deserving of a re-visit! Hand-crafted with love, fresh, complex and wonderfully delicious! I had a Poke-style bowl, served with a seaweed salad and roasted corn and it was a brilliant fusion of Cuban, Japanese and Pacific Islands that really was brilliant and different. Totally reasonable prices and they make a home-made hibiscus drink that was getting rave reviews from all the customer's that night! On a hot Miami evening... that hit the spot. I discovered this food truck on Instagram and decided to give them a try for their Sunday night omakase. I was super impressed the second we walked up. For being a food truck, the vibe of this place is way better than I expected. The whole experience was personal and delicious and VERY well priced for the amount of food you get. Multiple courses with a welcome drink and dessert included. They also have sake you can purchase which is delicious as well. This is some of the best quality fish I've ever had in miami and a spot that I will continue to come back to and bring friends/family. The owners are amazing and really put their heart into this food truck. I've recommended this spot to everyone and will continue to do so. A must try! read more

Amazing little place in the design district. A sushi truck with wonderful creative rolls and sides. I had the spank the tuna roll and that was amazing, also the charred salmon belly with truffle oil and best of all for vegetarians, the grilled avocado with almonds and heart of palm. Absolutely incredible, these guys really do an amazing job. The truck is a sparkling clean food is super fresh and the prices are as fair as you can get $13 for each of the rolls, they also offer nigiri. Poke bowls etc. we got the chicken fried rice that I can honestly say is the best I've had: crunchy chicken, Orange segments, edamame, and some spicy mayo. Great portion and was light for a fried rice. I'd seen these guys at the Pegasus championship horse racing and understand they have a great following amongst the Miami food industry and personalities so we gave it a shot. Awesome stuff will be back. read more

5++++++ stars! Seriously one of the best meals I've ever had. These people are brilliant I tell you, brilliant!!! They are giving you 5 star dining out of a food truck at an affordable price. Absolutely! We are vegetarians and ordered mushroom fried rice, we love vegan roll, grilled avocado, and Brussels sprouts. Everything was so good we couldn't even decide which one was our favorite. Literally insane the entire meal we only talked about how good the food was. Blown away. We will be back like all the time, and get yourself on this bandwagon ASAP cus it's out of this world. The flavors were so impressive and unique. Already craving more!! You guys are amazing. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!! read more
