Stopped at The Epic to see family who are visiting. We decided to catch up over some light bites and cocktails. I opted for Hugo spritz which I can never go wrong with. We ordered the spicy edamame, tempura shrimp and tempura crab roll. I LOVED the tempura shrimp and edamame. Both were delicious and full of flavor. The crab roll that I thought would be my fav was just ok to me. Service was good, and I enjoyed the nice water view while chatting with other patrons at the bar. Nice unplanned experience.

Zuma Miami is an upscale Japanese dining experience that goes way beyond just sushi. From the moment you walk in, the vibe feels elevated but still very social, with a beautiful crowd and an energy that makes the whole night feel special. The service was 10/10. Our server, Claire, really made the experience because she guided us through the menu perfectly and honestly recommended some of the best things we tried. We went for the five pieces of nigiri and five pieces of sashimi, and the fish was incredibly fresh. The presentation was also really nice, but the nigiri was definitely the highlight for me, so good. We also ordered these baked potatoes with a slightly spicy kick that were packed with flavor, and the wagyu dumplings were another standout. Super rich, super flavorful, and the sauce just brought everything together. The only thing I wouldn't order again were the chicken wings. They weren't bad, just very average for the price, and this place is definitely on the expensive side, so it didn't feel worth it compared to everything else. For drinks, I had a blackberry passion fruit martini that was amazing, really well balanced. And we ended with a chocolate lava cake that was also incredible. Total came out to around $400 for two people, with the 20% service already included. It's definitely pricey, but it's not just about the food, it's the whole experience. Worth it if you're looking for a special dinner and want to try different, well-executed dishes. Zuma Miami is an upscale Japanese dining experience that goes way beyond just sushi. We celebrated my wife's 35 (she will kill me for posting her age!) Birthday for Saturday brunch. And we were left in awe. Amazing quality and selection of food. All upscale sushi food. I've never eaten so much wagyu and himachi in my life. The service was also amazing. Our waiter just kept refilling my champagne I think I drank 2 bottles in 2 hours. I didn't feel rushed at all. They say u have a time limit of 1.5 hrs but we were there for 3 hrs with no problem. Restaurant is also beautiful located at the epic hotel. Beautiful water Brickell views. We cant wait to come back to get the Dom p package. Actually not priced badly!!!

I came here for my birthday for Saturday brunch. OMG it was amazing. Not your basic Miami brunch with eggs and waffles. If you are looking for that this place is not it. This is all HIGH QUALITY, fancy, elegant food. Think filet. New York strip. Caviar. Wagyu. Oysters. Tartare. Hamachi. Sushi. All amazing!! I ate so much I think I gained 10 pounds in 2 hours. The package we selected also had cocktails and champagne. They were soooo good. My husband was halfway through his champagne and they would fill it up. They ordered me a margarita before even me finishing it. Amazing service. Top top. And the dessert room was sooooo good. Usually don't go for sweets. And I tried and loved everything!!! I can't wait to come back here and I will!!!!

Very yummy brunch! They had a nice mix of sushi and hot food to choose from and the dessert section was huge. My favorite bites were the wagyu dumplings and the miso cod. Tip: if you plan on drinking more than 2 drinks at brunch, it makes sense to get the unlimited drink special

We went to Zuma Miami to celebrate our anniversary, and overall it was a great experience. The restaurant was actually smaller than we expected, especially since it looked much bigger in the YouTube videos we had watched beforehand. It still has a nice atmosphere, but just something to keep in mind if you're expecting a very large space. Parking was a bit tricky. The valet in the area costs about $28 plus tax, and personally I don't like other people driving my Tesla. Because of that, I decided to park at the garage next to Whole Foods, which worked out better for us. As for the food, it was very good and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, a couple of the dishes we were excited to try were not available that night, including the famous onsen egg and the beef sticks, which was a little disappointing. The miso soup was very good, and all of the sashimi was fresh and high quality. We also really enjoyed the New York strip and the tenderloin, both cooked well and full of flavor. One interesting detail is that desserts are served in another room, and they were amazing--definitely worth saving some space for. Overall, despite a few menu items being unavailable and the parking situation, we had a wonderful anniversary dinner with great service and delicious food.

Decided to stay in for dinner and not venture out, and booked a table at Zuma. Wow - this is not your average hotel restaurant. Now, upon doing some research, I realize maybe I should have known but I didn't so we're moving on. What a wonderful meal. Firstly, everything was shared - so I got to try a lot which is my fave. Highlights - the potato, the mushrooms, the romesco, and the chicken and spring onion skewers. Service was impeccable - kind, attentive and really make you feel like a VIP - even my purse for an exclusive perch. Those were the highlights but everything was great - 10/10 would go back!

Great lunch special $38 per person includes a lot! Great ambience right on the river, could use a little help from the manager on how to run a floor though - service was slow and food took forever to arrive whilst there were a load of employees walking around. Salmon with Teriyaki Sauce was awesome as well as the sushi.

Zuma is known for their sushi, and for good reason- but don't overlook the gyozas and wagyu, which are just as delicious. Food came out quickly but never felt rushed, and the service was attentive and professional. The vibe is lively and upscale without being pretentious, perfect for a night out or a special occasion.

    Sherry T.

Ambiance was gorgeous (outdoor seating is calmer and quieter, plus you get the river view). The food was amazing!! And unlimited champagne is totally worth the price of the buffet. The raw bar/sushi is fresh and delicious and the desserts are amazing!! The server was really attentive and helpful. Loved our time here.

This was my first time at Zuma but everything was so good. I loved the ambiance and the vibe of the place is perfect for a date night or birthday. The service was pretty good for the most part. The tuna was very smooth and I'd have to say better than the scallops. The scallops were very soft and good for the most part. The beef roll was amazing because it had truffle on top and was very unique. The edamame had perfect spices and flavor to it. Lastly, the branzino was the best I've ever had.

    Bone in rib-eye

I have to say I was a bit disappointed at this Zuma location... I've been to Vegas and Boston and they were both different experiences from this one. One major difference was that this location did not have any tempura... how does a Japanese sushi restaurant not have tempura? It looks like it was on before based on the yelp pictures. We also thought that the food lacked seasoning and the service was just so so compared to the other locations. The bone in ribeye was just okay... as was everything else. I would probably pass on this one on my next trip to Miami, maybe try the brunch next time.

    Natasha S.

Had an excellent dinner here. The restaurant has wonderful vibes with music, open patio seating next to the ocean and yachts with city view. Noise level can be high. Service was great. We ordered various maki rolls, appetizers, drinks and dessert, all were delicious. Will be back.

    Ask the Community - Zuma

Does Zuma have food options for children ages 5-10? Specifically for Father's Day or Mother's Day Brunch. Thank you!

Not catered to children meant for adults only

Is the brunch buffet all you can eat?

Yes and you choose a main course, which is based on which brunch selection you choose

    Is there a dress code?

Yes you must dress nicely as this is not a casual restaurant. At minimum you should dress "formal smart casual". Most people will be dressed up, either cocktail or date night attire.

Can I come at night for dessert only and do I have to make a reservation?

Reservations are easy. Weekdays or early evening in summer are not busy and there is plenty of room.

How much is Valet at zuma?

    $17

Does zuma not allow groups over 8 people? I'm trying to make reservations for my birthday and it won't allow me to place a group over 8? Can they not accommodate this many people?

I would try calling them. I'm sure more than groups of 8 could be accommodated

Do you have a Saturday brunch?

Does the brunch come with bottomless drinks?

Yes. Wine and Cocktails are in 3 packages.

Is there happy hour at the bar?

I'm not sure. What my review refers to is only the Saturday and Sunday all you can eat brunch, which has select unlimited alcoholic beverages.

Is this restaurant located inside a restaurant? If so what hotel?

Yes, it is located in the Epic Hotel and Residences

Does anyone have a picture of the wine list? I went to this place a few weeks ago and fell in love with an Australian rose but I can't remember the name of it.

We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your time with us! You are referring to our Cape Mentelle Rosé 2016 from Western Australia, Margaret River, Australia.

Very warm, serene vibe with neutral tones. Definitely the kind of place you'd come to unwind and just enjoy good sushi without any chaos. My only complaint is that food came out a bit slow, especially considering it wasn't very busy at the time. Like serve me all my orders all at once pleaseeeeee so I can indulge lol What I Had: _________________ Sashimi Assortment - 10/10 Freaking delicious. Light, decadent, and incredibly fresh. Each piece tasted clean and high-quality, the kind of sashimi that melts the second it hits your mouth. They did their thing! Kanpachi Sashimi - 10/10 So good. Soft, delicate, and perfectly fresh. Every bite was balanced and flavorful without being heavy at all. Nigiri - White Fish Tasting - 11/10 Hands down my favorite part of my experience. I ordered multiple rounds (they come two per order), including branzino and snapper. The branzino was unreal. I wanted only branzino... that is how marvelous it was. Topped with this umami crunch that added so much texture and flavor. It was literally mouthwatering, like a burst of flavor in every bite. I honestly could've kept ordering this all night. Nigiri - Bluefin Tuna Tasting - 5/10 This one just wasn't for me. It wasn't fishy, but the texture was very slimy and didn't sit well in my mouth. It didn't swallow smoothly and just wasn't appetizing to me personally. Definitely a pass. Blue Crab Hand Roll - 6.5/10 I know this is a fan favorite, but it was just okay for me. Not bad at all, just didn't wow me compared to everything else I had. For $6, it's fine, but I wouldn't rush to reorder it. Customer Service: 8.5/10 Friendly and helpful, just slightly slow. There is a small ramp leading you up to the restaurant which can be easily missed if you don't know what to look for. I had made reservations earlier in the day through Open Table and had to wait a short while to be seated. I had indicated in the reservation that we were coming to celebrate a birthday but none of the staff acknowledged this. The restaurant was busy but not too loud. Despite hearing a lot about the ambiance, I did not think the decor was anything out of this world. Given that this was our first time at the restaurant, we took our time looking over the menu. I felt that the waitress was a bit impatient and wanted us to make up our minds. She never offered any suggestions and when we told her we needed a minute she took that literally and did not seem happy we needed more than the additional 60 seconds she provided. We ordered the crispy rice (2 pieces tuna and 2 pieces salmon), the classic ceviche, Paper Tuna roll, Salmon Furai roll, Spicy Tuna roll, and Hamachi Jalapeño roll. I had indicated to the waitress that we wanted the crispy rice and ceviche to start with the rolls brought afterwards, but the sushi came out before anything else. She then brought out the wrong ceviche and the proper order was not brought out until the end of our meal. Despite these mishaps, the table agreed that the food was good. We felt that the ceviche was a bit small but this may have been due to the kitchen rushing the order out. While the sushi was tasty, there are plenty of other sushi spots around Miami that offer similar rolls. Towards the end of our meal, we secretly asked our waitress to bring out a dessert as a surprise to the birthday guest. She then proceeded to clear the table, bring out spoons, and announce that the dessert would be out shortly. Overall, I would not come here to celebrate a special occasion. The service was disappointing and while the food was good, there wasn't anything unique that would justify coming out to Brickell to eat here again.

I truly appreciate when servers know their menu well and are able to make suggestions. I can't remember my server's name, but she was just top-notch.
