Elevated Japanese. Great HH with generous portions. Definitely stop by and grab a few bites before heading out or do the omalase which is very reasonable and will fill you ip for a long night in Miami.

Robert was an amazing server! The ambiance was great and the food was unbelievable! All servers were super knowledgeable about what was being served and mitigated a very peak rush hour with seamlessness. We opted for the somakase and every course was just delicious. Absolute gem

Second visit for dinner, we made reservation. It wasn't as crowded for a Tuesday night and we came in during happy hour so we tried some new things. Crispy tuna rice (9/10): MUST have for appetiser, love it. The jalapeño on top gives it an extra kick and texture, which not every restaurant has it on their crispy rice. Nice. Beef dumplings (7/10): Very flavourful, crisp on the outside and juicy fillings. But a bit on the saltier side because of the soy sauce. Spicy Popcorn Shrimp (7/10): Yummy but not my favourite, it's not anything unique but quite up to standard. The breading is thin yet crispy, just the flavour is quite straight forward, siracha mayo DNA. Chicken Karage (8.5/10): Very tender fresh and juicy, but just like the Spicy Popcorn Shrimp, it's nothing special. Unless you're a fan of this dish then it's good to order. Seaweed Salad (8.5/10): Quite refreshing, good. Seasoned the right way, great pairing. The nigiri(s) are all very good, all 9/10. My favourites are the Ikura, Scallop, Sake, Toro, Yellowtail. It's my second visit to Uchiko and not a dish here disappoints, definitely recommend. Service is also great, attentive not annoying, professional and understands menu well. Sake selection is decent and fun.

Went back for omakase HH before Swan Lake ballet nearby at the Filmore theater. The food was very good, this has become a regular for the family. I forgot a picture of the welcome shot to cleanse the palette and mushroom stone pot. The service was good but tends to a bit inattentive yet again as perhaps it's busier because of HH?

We had a reservation at the sushi bar on the Friday night the restaurant was very lively! It is a beautiful space and the sushi bar is great for a date night. Our sushi chef Esteban was very kind and gave us multiple free dishes, so highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar to try more. Our favorites were the dumplings the hamachi crudo, incredibly fresh! Would love to come back and try the happy hour tasting menu.

Amazing date night at Uchiko in Miami Beach, sister to uchi and this beautiful spot has been open since March 2025. I came in on a Friday evening at 6 to try their happy hour tasting menu and wow, what a wonderful time. Our server Wesley was superb, always checking in on us and giving us his recommendations as well. Everything we received on the tasting menu was delicious, from the classic hama chili to the filling Denver steak. Aside from the tasting menu, I ordered a cocktail - tsurai and my boyfriend tried their beer. We also enjoyed the hearth grilled oysters, also delicious. I left feeling very satisfied by the end of the menu and looking forward to returning for my next special occasion. Well done.

Great experience Miami! I've been to uchiko in Dallas if that's what the name of the restaurant hosted by Uchi as well... either way I noticed this Miami location is huge, you can fit larger parties inside or outside and the ambiance is intimate and private enough that you can be left alone if you worry about high traffic places, this one would accommodate well. The food was tasting fresh, every single bit was good. My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary and were gifted a plate to try and I'm pretty sure it's like Crudo- just didn't see it on the menu so I loved that experience- it felt special and we loved the dish so thank you! Didn't get pictures of everything, overall great experience , I want to try their happy hours and other menus because they are very creative with their dishes!

Uchiko has very quickly become one of my favorite spots in Miami. Their sister restaurant is in Wynwood, and this spot is located in the Sunset Harbour area of Miami Beach. I've gone to their happy hour a couple of times and have stayed well past it because of how great the drinks, bites, and staff are. Staff are truly very kind, attentive and knowledgeable. The decor is amazing! There's lots of indoor and outdoor seating, as well as seats at the bar and the sushi bar. I've tried all their seating except the outside since it's gotten a bit hot lately. I love their vinho verde and prosecco. Some favorite bites are the broccoli yaki - delicious broccoli with a spicy kick, the inari makimono roll - which is tofu roll, I absolutely love the avocado nigiri, and nasu nigiri. Their Japanese potato that comes with crème fraîche is also top notch along with their Hama chili. The food is so fresh, flavorful, and well balanced. Portions can be on the smaller size but worth it for all the flavors. The amazing food doesn't stop there - their desserts are also so good. The milk and cereal was a favorite, so much flavor and decadence. The tropical tart was also good, and very refreshing. Definitely cannot wait to return to Uchiko!

Awesome 9 course omakase deal they have daily starting at 5 pm for $60 per person. They also have drink specials going on at the same time and a happy hour menu. Excellent service, beautiful restaurant, and the flavors of each bite were wonderful. Star of the night for me was the Hama Chili served cool with yellowtail, ponzu, and orange. The sweet and savory mix I always crave, with the bonus of being light and refreshing. It was the perfect way to start off the food journey we went though that night and fully enjoyed! Highly reccomend!

Celebrated my daughter's birthday here and we had a lovely experience start to finish. Everyone wished my kiddo a happy birthday which made her night extra special. We came just in time for happy hour- and ordered avocado nigiri which had this delicious little dot of limey spice garnish on top, the sake nigiri (salmon), Wagyu tartare which came with two pieces of delicious chopped Wagyu with some zest, Toro temaki (yum ! Tuna hand roll), the char sui skewer (crispy juicy fatty salty pork belly- some of the best any of us have ever had and one of our favorite bites of the evening, served over a tangy and vibrant - well balanced acidic cucumber salad), and crispy pork which was served over crunchy chips but we actually didn't love because of the chili sauce which had a fermented type flavor that didn't sit well. Everything else was top notch. The hot stone Wagyu dish was fun but the meat needed more salt, our stone seemed to cool down too quickly and if you don't cook it long enough it's sort of chewy. The best part was dessert- we got the milk and cookies which has fried milk balls (so tasty that alone is worth getting on an airplane for to come to Miami), and a s'mores dessert which wasn't as great (in my opinion) but my daughter still liked it. Overall a stellar meal , beautiful restaurant interior and lovely friendly service.

Absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we walked in, the servers treated us like family--warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The hospitality was on another level and made the entire night feel special. The best part was that they had sent us a $65 gift card in the mail, and the team couldn't have been more welcoming about it. They were super easygoing, excited that we used it, and made us feel appreciated rather than rushed or awkward--something you don't see often. The food was outstanding, the service was flawless, and the vibe was perfect. It's amazing to have a place like Uchi Miami Beach

Beautiful modern restaurant in a great location in south beach. Went for the happy hour tasting with 5 people, easily accommodated by purchasing extra nigiri and hand rolls. It took about 15 minutes to get any attention from staff- frustrating to watch 5 people with their backs turned towards you without water on the table. The flow of the meals was going well until it took 45 minutes to get the dessert to which they gave us the bill before it got out. Management was very nice and apologized for the experience as it is not how they like things to be remembered. Overall everything was only okay. Nothing outstanding or worth raving about.

Liked even better than sister restaurant Uchi! Came here for an early birthday celebration with family and our waiter (I think his name is Jordan - he looks like bad bunny) made the experience very special. They also accomodated all my food restrictions (no shellfish or meat, fish only with fins and scales) It was interesting that the waiter encouraged us to eat the nigri with our hands and upside down (with the protein side touching the tongue). I found that that was superior to eating the nigri traditionally with chop sticks, as the primary flavor in their method is from the protein! I got a lot of little dishes, but got to try a lot from my family who got the Miami spice menu- which had so much food compared to other Miami spice places weve visited! Here's what I tried with commentary: Bluefin zuke nigri - delicious! Caesar from the Miami spice menú- very bland, would not recommend Japanese eggplant nigri - so flavorful! king trumpet mushroom nigri - not as special, tasted a bit meaty and very buttery broccolini- fried egg emulsion, kombu, yucca crunch - very flavorful and definitely not a basic veggie side! kurodai crudo sashimi - amazing! ceviche hand roll- white fish ceviche, cucumber, sweet and spicy ponzu - so unique! Came with crispy onions inside that were so yummy tsurai cocktail- astral blanco tequila, passionfruit, aperol, Thai chili (4th picture)- really refreshing! mushroom don- tensuyu, mushroom conserva, cabbage and egg - like an elevated fried rice blueberry ube tart- Marcona almond crust, blueberry curd, marcona praline, ube cream - totally was not expecting a blueberry tart to be like this! Explosion of flavor and so fresh. s'mores dessert -toasted barley, black sesame, toasted marshmallow with ice cream and brown butter crumble on the side - loved the ice cream and brown butter crumble, was less impressed with the Smores dessert part. Liked the blueberry ube tart better!

The ambience is secluded and warm without losing its chic feeling. The two chefs had a great personality and we had great conversations. The food was absolutely amazing. Each course had a completely distinct flavor profile and played off one another very well. None where so over powering that it made the other seem bland. Extremely well balanced with amazing flavors. For a nice night out. We normally check the Michelin Guide first but there's none for Miami so we decided to browse through Tock for fun. This was how we stumbled upon Sushi Bar and we are so glad we did! The price point of $185 per seating is super worth it. You get a lot of fish and they are very creative with each nigiri. Their spin on it shows their creative side (with Miami flavors) but is not super over the top and sauce does not drown out the freshness of the fish. Something that stood out to me was how they shaved frozen monkfish liver as a topping. I wanna go back just for that!! They also had some pieces where they smoked the fish. Besides the food, I thought it was very creative how they welcomed guests with a welcome drink at the hotel bar. This was so unique! We finished ours early, and had some of their other drinks - they were all very good! Once they're ready, a server came to get us from the hotel bar and led us through an alleyway to a separate building which was where the actual omakase was taking place. The atmosphere was dark and gave off speakeasy vibes, which I thought was different to other omakase places. Bar is spacious enough to still have private conversations. We did the beverage pairing and we really appreciated the sommelier's knowledge. Overall, we would want to come back again for another tasting experience!!

The atmosphere is unmatched, the food was incredible, and every space has its own perfect vibe while still feeling cohesive and luxurious. What really made it stand out though was the service. The manager personally checked on us multiple times to make sure we were fully taken care of, which made us feel so valued as guests. On top of that, we were even surprised with drinks on the house, which was such an unexpected and thoughtful touch. MILA isn't just dinner, it's a full experience. The environment of the restaurant is dark and mysterious, edgy and luxurious, which elevated my anticipation of the meal to come. The complimentary glass of champagne was a nice welcome. When it was time to dine, all the guests for the evening were led down a low lit hallway to the dining room. When the frosted glass doors slid open, they revealed a beautiful chef's table situated in the center of the room. All the lighting, colors, and decoration point your eyes toward the chef as if he was on a stage. The restaurant is small, only a few seats around the table. This was nice because you get to know about your fellow guests. Everyone in attendance was so fun and personable. Now for the food. I will confess, I do not normally even like sushi or crave Asian food of this style. However, I loved every dish that was served to me. They hit all the senses - sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste. Other reviews have gone into detail about the various dishes and how good they are so I don't need to. I just want to echo those points and simply express gratitude to the chef for opening my horizons to enjoy these dishes I would not normally have. The showmanship is just right. The chef jokes with the guests and shows off his techniques but there is nothing kitschy or cliché about it. If anyone is concerned about that, let me allay your fears. There were three birthdays being celebrated that night, one of which was my friend's. The restaurant treated us all with a delicious coconut ice cream topped with caviar and finished with a cloud of gold dust. Seeing my friend light up from the gold dust finish made me so happy. Everyone who had a birthday walked away feeling extra special. Finally, a word about cocktails. The Japanese whiskey old fashioned was stunningly good. I had two of them. They source some very old and rare Japanese whiskeys to make their cocktails so they were certainly special. Would I recommend Nossa to others? Absolutely! They limit reservations to a max of two people so go with a close friend or loved one on a special occasion. It was be an experience you both remember and cherish.
